I just installed the plugin from substance 3D to blender. I loaded a material, but then it says "(error)", I can't apply it to any object. The object is UV-unwrapped, but the way it looks is like it doesn't matter what the object looks like, it's an error from loading the material. Does anyone know what could be the problem?

Hello, I am using the Substance Plugin with Unreal Engine 5.3. I have a USubstanceGraphInstance* with some input parameters that I customize at runtime before rendering the graph instance. Since I only want to read the pixel data from the generated output textures, I don't need to save the textures to disk. I have two questions:How do I register a callback function, or is there another way to get notified when the async rendering of a graph instance has finished?Once the rendering has finished, how can I access the generated output textures as a UTexture2D*? Thanks!
Hello there, Most often an SDK will have a mention of developer support or a forum to ask questions but the Substance materials SDK seems to have no mention of that, nor have I found any Adobe forum where such questions can be asked. As such, please excuse me posting this question in the 3D Plugins forum. 1) Is there a dedicated forum for Substance materials SDK support? I believe that may be no. 2) I do have one specific question: what is the preferred or exposed method for serializaing a Substance file's current loaded state (within the Materials SDK) to and from its host application? In other words, what method does Adobe's internal developers use (for its custom plugins) to capture and save the state of the currently loaded .sbsar file (and its modified tweak parameter list) within the host's scene graph and file format (such as within its implementation for 3ds Max, Maya, Cinema-4D, VRED, etc)? The only simple way I can see that being done is by importing and export
[Code_Response.toolkit_file_not_recognized_error]This is the error I find every time I try to install the Substance 3d in Blender 4.0Also checked the latest versions of Substance 3d and in the discussion sections other similar errors but couldn't find a solution please help. Tive um contato rápido com modelagens e animações 3D, não cheguei nem a colocar em prática. Eu gostaria de saber como fazer , as plataformas, softwares que posso utilizar para a formação deste vídeo. É super simpes, é sobre um pivô de irrigação, mas para deixarmos mais fácil, vamos substituí-lo por uma pizza hahaha. eu vou fazer um video com um drone, partindo meio da pizza ate uma posição que a pizza apareça por inteiro no video, lembrando que a pizza vai ter 1 quilometro de diametro e a gravação vai estar em 30 graus de inclinação em comparação ao solo. Após o video da pizza, do centro à borda, vamos estar vendo um circulo, mas com uma visão baixa, não de cima, levando isso em consideração, eu agora preciso da pizza, só que em uma modelagem 3D, mas não como uma pizza, nem como um pivô hahaha, e sim como um circulo branco e liso, lembrem-se que eu disse que era super simples haha, mas esse circulo tem que estar na mesma posição e mesmo ângulo que a pizza, para que seja feita uma trans

Cant seem to make the addon install/work with Blender 4.0. Is that because it is not updated for Blender 4.0 or is it a bug? And will it be updated for Blender 4.0 and when?
Hey everyone, I'm on a windows PC and installing the Substance plugins for the first time. I'm able to install the plugin, but the integration tools bug out every time I try to install. It won't even install them, it just returns the error above. I couldn't find any other topics that cover this error and would greatly appreciate your help!
Hi, When I use substance materials in my blender scene, it looks all fine. But whenever I change the filename that blender and substance material files are located, then whole materials are going to break and I can not fix it anymore unless manually adding again. Why does it happen?
I am on a Mac with M1 Ultra and using the latest version of Cinema 4D and Redshift. I am bringing in the .sbsar files directly into Cinema 4D to quickly make some variations. My question is by doing this verses making variations in Substance Painter and exporting the multiple materials as Redshift materials does this increase renders time / IPR renderings? Im guessing by using the materials inside of C4D and rendering there always need to be calculations done. Just trying to boost performance and come up with optimal workflow.
hey Is there any problem using resources/material nodes in Unreal inside a .sbsar ?use these nodes after the imported texture is Substance? and use the expose resources created in Substance without problems? thanks

hello, I´ve been trying to install the newest add on from Subatnce to Blender.Unfortunately I can´t go past stage when you install Integration tools.Tried multiple versions of Blender versions, deleted folder in Appdata as advised and ran out of all optionsStill getting this message : [Code_Response.toolkit_install_error] Error while installing the Substance 3D Integration Tools and I´m also on Windows 10. It seems to be common issue but I have no clue how to fix it please help

Hi guys, whenever we load substancemaya.mll plugin in Maya, a 'substance' folder will be created automatically in the project folder, is there a way to disable this behaviour?
hello If I open a file, created in unreal 5.0.3 and with many sbsar, in unreal 5.3.2, do I run the risk of losing this file?Do SBSAR materials continue to be of the same quality?Is it appropriate to make a backup of the Unreal project as a precaution?How should I make a backup of the project to prevent this? hello I noticed that unreal does not accept Ambient Occlusion channels from .sbsar files.Which channels do unreal also not accept from .sbsar?How should we work with clear-coat?and other not so common channels thanks
Hello All,When I select the material, I receive an error message as shown in the attachment and the material is not loaded. I deleted the plugin, cleared all folders and reinstalled it, but the problem what is wrong?
SD to UE5's sbsar public parameters may have garbled characters and cannot be in Chinese. Can you fix this? This will be very helpful for those who are not very proficient in English. Thank you very much
Substance is great. I really love using it. And the more I learn and experiment with it, the more I want to use it in ways people have never seen before.But the problem for us has been for a while, Substance can do so much incredible stuff in Unity, Unreal and Cryengine, but all of these engines have fundamental flaws that just make them unappealing. Be it floating point imprecisions, lack of features, monetization models or ease of use for beginners just to name a few. My only regret in choosing Godot is that Substance is not supported, which means that all the features that make Substance Designer so great are off limits. I'd love to just use the native Substance file format and tweak the looks through exposed parameters in the engine instead of going through the endless iterative cycle of "make change - load material into Substance Player - render animation - forgot to change file type/size of output/amount of frames to get the loop - render properly now - load individual image
