As a photographer I have been using Bridge for over a decade. One of the most important ways I use it is to create PDF documents of low res (but good quality) images to show clients as contact sheets, often with one image per page. I found this to be a quick easy way to create a high res or low res PDF that can be emailed. Recently with the new Bridge updates, the PDF sizes have become exponentially bigger - and therefore not possible to email. I never used to have to resize every image as the Output panel was very good at compressing and doing this for me and creating a usable file size. It is even creating large file sizes from small LR images. I don't know what has happened or if there is any solution to this, but my workflow is now incredibly slow as I try to compress and optimize PDFs in Adobe Acrobat which also is very glitchy and sometimes doesn't work at all. I'm now doing more work to try and do something I have done in Bridge for years and it's driving me crazy. I have a
Bridge 16.0.4 fails to launch on Windows 10 with "EnumResourceNamesA" entry point errorWindows 10 Pro 22H2 (Build 19045.6466)Bridge 16.0.3.21 works correctly.Updating to Bridge 16.0.4 causes Bridge to fail immediately on launch with:"The procedure entry point EnumResourceNamesA could not be located..."Photoshop 2026 works normally. Downgrading Bridge back to 16.0.3.21 resolves the issue immediately.
After update to OS 26.6 update to Bridge 16.06 reports as damaged, uninstall quit reboot reinstall - same, repeat but rollback to 16.03 all working
Hi, I've been looking for a way to reset the number sequencing when batch renaming in Bridge but have not been able to find a way to do this. I found some older posts which said it was not possible but nothing more recent so was not sure if this was still a limitation or there is a workaround that may be suggested without having to manually set the sequence number back to 1 each time. What I'm trying to do view all assets within a series of folders which I can do via View -> Show Items from Subfolders. I then Select All and then Batch Rename. This works but the sequencing keeps counting up. I'd like to have it reset back to 1 for each folder. For example- Before Batch RenameFolder: San_FranciscoHas files DSC6060, DSC6065, DSC6068Folder: New_YorkHas files DSC6060, DSC6065, DSC6068Current Output - After Batch RenameFolder: San_FranciscoHas files San_Francisco_1, San_Francisco_2, San_Francisco_3Folder: New_YorkHas files New_York_4, New_York_5, New_York_6Ideal Output - After Batch RenameF

Will allow me to open the colour picker, and input the new RGB and/or the HEX Value. But will not save the change. I hit ok. But it just reverts back to the same colour.
Clearly there is a significant number of Bridge users on Win 10. Why is Adobe forcing us to update to Win 11 when even Microsoft concedes that many Win users are not updating, and thus MS is continuing support for Win 10.Why is Adobe abandoning us, and now with Premier Pro also? If you cannot/will not answer, who do we contact at Adobe to voice our displeasure?
I updated my Mac to Tahoe 26.5.2 and Adobe Bridge 13.0.0.562 ... Now when I attempt to upload files from my SD card, it only uploads the older files ... It doesn't recognize the new files ... I did load them in my mac laptop, so the issue in on my desktop ... PLEASE help!
When editing capture time there is no way to specify time in 24h or specify AM/PM, so for change time to 22:00:00 I have to set 10:00:00, and then verify if it asumed 10am or 10pm, if it asumed 10am I have to edit the hour individually and raise the value 12 times, and verify again.
Products: Photoshop 27.8.0, Bridge 16.0.5, Adobe Camera Raw 18.4.1.2647Hardware: Mac Mini M4 Pro with 24 GB, Apple Studio Display XDROS: macOS “Tahoe” 26.5.2Symptoms: Bridge deletes the sidecar (.xmp) file associated with a raw file, when a another file (with similar name, but different type) is deleted.Steps to reproduce:1) Double-click a thumbnail icon in Bridge to open a raw file (example: myFile.nef) in ACR.2) Make a simple edit with ACR, for example: changing exposure or contrast.3) Click "Done" to save the change and close the ACR window. Bridge should now show a small graphic superimposed on the thumbnail icon, to indicate that a sidecar file (myFile.xmp) has been created. In Finder, you should see the sidecar file in the same folder as the raw file.4) Use Bridge to re-open the same raw file in ACR.5) Click the "Convert and Save" icon (upper right of ACR window) to bring up the "Save Options" dialog.6) Select a different format (jpg, avif, etc.) to create a new file from the con
Ok Adobe, it's been years now, and the one blindingly obvious data point that any and every person needs to know about a video clip is still lacking in Bridge: "How long is this clip?" I don't need to know who the Referring Physician was. The Intellectual Genre of a clip is irrelevant to me. I'm sure the Audio Engineer did a great job, but I don't need to know their name. (those are all actual metadata points). I need to know how long the clip is. Stop whatever you're doing, and do this. Please. Think of the children.

I sort out photos by using the review mode in Adobe Bridge. The carousel is nice, but the selected photo in den middle should be larger. This would be very helpful, thank you!

Bridge will usually generate previews with the wrong size when "Generate Monitor-Size Previews" has been enabled (checked). I would guess that this bug has been present for a while. The setting can be found here: Preferences -> Advanced -> Generate Monitor-Size Previews On my system (see below), I have a monitor with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. When "Generate Monitor-Size Previews" is not checked, Bridge generates preview files with a pixel width of 2048 pixels in this cache folder (2048 seems to be the default size): C:\Users\xxxx\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Bridge\Cache\v36\1024\... Then, when checking "Generate Monitor-Size Previews", I see preview files with a width of 2560 pixels for new files, which may be the expected width (but see note below *). However, with "Generate Monitor-Size Previews" still checked, I exit Bridge, then starts Bridge again, then I double check that "Generate Monitor-Size Previews" is still set in Preferences
M1 Macbook Pro. Having screen flickering for 50% of raw images. Was happening on 14, 15 and now 16 version of bridge. This is making me furious! Have 3tb of photography to work through. This is one of the most basic key functions of being able to view images.Aside from not correctly showing 100% previews which has also been for years. The flickering (as if repeated reloading and switching color profiles) when space bar viewing images is just shocking. There are posts on this going back to 2020.I've done restarting. Fresh installs. Clearing caches. Turning off generating, turning off keeping color profiles, tried generating previews for entire folders. There is not any combination that works to stop this happening. This was happening on Sonoma and is still there in Tahoe.
There is no facility to search the list of keywords for the one I want to add (mine are grouped) into categories. At present I have to have a separate keywords file which I can search in notepad. Ideally it would be great if it could suggest keywords, ideally from a list that I have.
I am purchasing Adobe Photoshop Elements 2026, 3 year version without CC. I used to have bridge, but need to update it in order to use it. I would like just free bridge to work without having to pay for a subscription or having to go thru CC. I only use it to manage my photo files and access. It use to be the best at this. It use to be free. So can I still get bridge free without having to go thru CC?
how do we get the file names to show on these thumbnails page?
I’m posting here out of frustration. I just purchased a new $1500 Microsoft Surface with the Snapdragon processor, and Adobe Bridge will not run properly on it.I’ve used Bridge since version 1, and I pay over $700 per year for my Creative Cloud license. On top of Bridge not working, several other CC apps still don’t run on Windows ARM, which makes the situation even worse. At this level of investment, core Adobe applications should be fully compatible with modern Windows ARM devices. This is a major issue for anyone relying on Adobe tools in a professional workflow. Please address this — it’s critical.
Please develop Culling Photos in bridge, or ACR
I hate Bridge's behavior since the last updates. When I open Bridge, it doesn't remember the folder I'm working in; it alternates between the current folder and the previous folder each time I open it! It's annoying!
操作系统:Windows11 24H2软件版本:Adobe Bridge 15.0.4.534HEIC照片名字或者存放目录带有中文名称,BR中就无法进行预览。
In Bridge 15 HEIC files are not displayed (no thumbnail, no preview, no full screen picture), if the name of the folder includes special German characters (ö, ü, ä) - tested with "ö". With usual folder names HEIC files are displayed correctly. The bug is still in version 15.03.525 under up-to-date Windows 11 24H2. Please forward this bug to the development department. The workaround to rename the folder names is not a useful solution. Some weeks ago I had a chat with the hotline, but the ticket has been closed as solved at the same day. Seems that they did not understand the problem correctly.
i cant label the photos exported by Magimir (.jpg) and i cant drag&drop from Filezilla to Bridge. Pls label thumnail pts on .psd to prevent confuse .jpg and .psd on the same photos
When I open a folder in bridge, thumbnails and previews are generated of the photos in the folder. If I open another folder and then open the previous folder again, the thumbnails and previews are generated again. Also if I close bridge and then start it again, the thumbnails and previews of every folder I open, are generated again. In this way bridge works very slowly and is not workable at all.How can I improve this?
