Photoshop

I have hidden the Options bar in Photoshop. When I select a portion of the image and press the C key (the shortcut for the crop tool), followed by the Enter key, the crop tool displays the Options bar. Is there a way to disable this behaviour and have the crop tool simply crop the selected area when I press Enter, without first showing a crop area preview?

How to disable/hide this thing in home screen of photoshop? 

The tab to click on and change the properties for an adjustment layer randomly disappears. Quitting and re-opening the app solves the issue, but it will happen again within minutes, usually when switching between different projects or different app on the computer.  On Photoshop v26.6 - Mac Mini M4 pro, 32gb ram, 1tb ssd.   Any help would be appreciated! ss

Hello. As I try to use the new Generative Expand function, I get the following message (attached): "To use this feature, first drag the canvas to expand." I'm calling this a "bug" because 1.- it makes no sense at all "first drag the canvas to expand" what does that even mean? – and 2.- because there is no further explanation, tutorial, click here to see more", etc. I tried dragging the canvas (the way I understand that) but the nonesense message keeps popping up (please consider getting some English Major to create these pop-up messages. Software Engineers... well, only they can understand themselves.) Ideas? Guidance? Thank you in advance. A.C.

Since my latest update to PS, my brush looks different. It always had a solid curculare line, now it is a jaggy cirsular edge. My settings have not changed. Anyone have this issue or an answer?

I would like to change the canvas size via action in Photoshop 27.4. I’ve tried to record changing canvas size but I doesn’t work correctly. The dimensions wasn’t saved. Steps to reproduce Open a document. Create a new action in the “Action” panel. The recording starts automatically Go to Image → Canvas Size… Let the units as it is. Switch the size mode from to Relative. Enter values for Width and Height Click OK to apply. Stop recording the action. In the action the appropriate parameter for Width and Height are empty. The same steps in Photoshop 27.2 working correctly. The same issue was reported for the Photoshop Beta here. P: Canvas Size relative Width/Height not recorded in Actions (values saved as blank) | Adobe DME A temporarly workaround is to deactivate “Enable Modern User Interface” option. After a restart of Photoshop it worked. 

Hi Previously I had been able to use the ‘remove reflections’ tool in Camera Raw through photoshop...until it recently just randomly stopped working. All the other Ai tools still work for me, just this one fails and I get an ‘unknown error - unable to remove reflections’ message,Restarted photoshop, upgraded to the latest version of photoshop and camera raw...nothing helps. Even uninstalling and then reinstalling photoshop hasn’t helped.Mac OS, Ventura  13.6.5Mac mini - chip Apple M216 gb memoryThe error still occurs even when I have no other adobe products open.Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated…Thanks

I noticed that in Photoshop 26.9.0 the Build‑up option is always active, even when it is unchecked in Brush Settings.This makes it impossible to paint without build‑up.The issue also occurs in the Photoshop Beta 26.10.0.System: Mac mini M1, macOS Sonoma 14.7.6Video attachedhttps://youtube.com/shorts/0WhFV-f1lls 

Image is significantly lighter on Photoshop beta then when exported. When viewing my file on photoshop beta, it looks like as if I placed a 50% white layer over the whole image. This is happening to multiple files. Not every file though. Does not happen with regular photoshop. I believe it’s some kind of view change from a hot key but I am not sure. Please help. How it looks on photoshop betaHow it exports as a png.

I have been using Topaz Photo Ai for a couple of years, and was super impressed right from the start.  At the end of the first year I was asked to pay for another year of updates, and decided to wait till some real changes in the app’s quality.  When I saw the Wonder model examples I thought the time to pay out had come, only to find they had switched to a subscription only payment model, with a commitment to a full year at significant cost!I have found DXO PureRaw which gets good reviews and is attractively priced.  I have also seen mention of OnOne NoNoise, and I know I can get similar sharp images from blurred originals with NB Gemini 3 so I love to hear if other people are in a similar position, or have experience with DXO Pure Raw or alternatives?

It has been 4 days that I cannot open/upload to use photoshop web

Photoshop intermittently behaves as if the Shift key is being held downFor nearly five years, I have occasionally experienced an issue where Photoshop suddenly behaves as though the Shift key is being held down, even when I am not pressing it.For example, when I use a transform shortcut, Photoshop repeats the transformation as if Shift were pressed. When I merge layers, it sometimes merges all layers as though I were holding Shift. This happens despite the Shift key not being physically pressed.Pressing the right Shift key once temporarily restores normal behavior, but the issue eventually returns. I have been dealing with this problem for about five years.I have also found several older posts describing the same issue. Is the Photoshop team aware of this bug? Is there any permanent solution or workaround?*This post has been moved by a moderator.

I have rarely used generative AI in the last year as I find Firefly to be subpar and won’t pay extra for the partner generative engines when I can use Gemini for free. In fact, I have never used all 250 monthly credits from my Photography plan since this feature was offered. However, I wanted to use it today and low and behold, all of my credits were gone. Contacted customer service via chat and after passing me on to at least five different agents all asking me to repeat my issue and spending over 1.5 hours on the chat call, they did not resolve my issue and basically just stopped responding to me. I provided all the proof that they requested and here I am with still 0 credits. Does anyone have a suggestion on how I can escalate this to someone who can truly help? I am beyond pissed with Adobe right now. I’ve been a subscriber for years even though my usage is at a minimum in the last year or so. Thank you for any insight. 

To get it back, I have to use the menu Window > Uncheck CTBar, and then use Window > Check CTB. Every time I get the CTB back, I pin it. This only happened when version 27.5.0 was released.
