Acrobat Reader

My client initiated a trial of Acrobat Pro, adding their credit details. They then wanted to cancel and revert to the free version. The app on re-install immediately starts “Upgrading key features” and cannot be opened again without logging into a licenced account. On start-up of the app it would prompt to open the browser to authenticate but didn’t do so.I have tried uninstalling with Revo uninstaller, Creative Cloud Cleaner tool, AcroCleaner, and running all 3 in different orders. Manually clearing all registry entries I could find. Deleting all possible files containing Acrobat or Adobe in the name via a file indexer. Logged back into his Adobe account in browser to see the trial had been re-enabled without his consent and was about to expire and start billing him. Cancelled the trial again, deactivated the device via account management, deleted all cookies/cache for Adobe websites, re-installed Chrome after clearing registry entries. Installed Windows 11 32 bit version Acrobat. Add

3-4 weeks ago, I got a glitch in my Adobe Acrobat Reader on my Windows 11. As it can be seen in the attached image, my opened PDF documents get duplicated. I open them, wait for a few seconds to pass while using another application, and when I return to Reader, everything is duplicated in the same order it was opened. If I try to close the duplicate, it will close the original tab. I have been using Reader for more than 10 years, and on this specific computer, I am using it for almost 2 years without any glitches ever. I tried updating both Windows and Reader, and it didn't help. I also tried fixing the installation, but it didn't work either. I hope I can get a solution to this. Thank You in advance.

MacOs. Adobe Reader Free Version 2025.001.21111.I try to open any PDF and the app opens a window asking me to login to Adobe. I click the X to close the window and the entire program crashes. The only workaround is to uninstall the program and reinstall it from scratch. Then it works for a few days or weeks, but the problem eventually comes back. Might be tied to auto-updating, but I’m not sure. This time I took a screen recording so you guys can see it for yourself. As the title stats, i want to install MUI with English and french silently. Deploying it with PSADT.  So i first downloaded the MUI from Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader Distribution Now if i install this by simply clicking on the exe, it will extra and launch installer. You get to the menu where you can customize the setup. At this stage, you can choose the language. So i chose the ones i want and it installs. When holding CTRL and clicking on the EXE, you can trigger the language section ONLY IF THERE IS ANOTHER LANGUAGE TO SELECTSo great. It works...Now i download Welcome to the Wizard — Acrobat Customization Wizard for WindowsI extract the content of the exe using 7Zip and load it up in the Wizard.So first thing i see is that i only have access to English under the Features..Where are all the languages!?Then installation Option the Acrobat MUI is greyed out but from googling it, that seems to be for a Language licenses when using DC Pro and not Reader it seems...is that really the case

Hi,we have an ECR approval pdf set up with fields that contain text. If the field contains more text then the field size, a scroll object is visible near the text field.  Here is the problem: when I have uploaded it (request for e-signatures) , only those with a Acrobat Pro version have the option to scroll in that field, not those with a standard Reader version. And most of my colleagues have the standard Reader version.Once everyone has signed the document, and has received a copy in the mailbox, the scroll function is active again for those with the Reader version. OS: Windows 11

Quand on va dans programmes en effet elle n'apparait pas. On a relancé plusieurs fois sans succès. Chat GPT à indiqué que cette visionneuse n'était pas compatible avec Windows 11 ARM. Avez-vous une solution pour pouvoir installer cette visionneuse sur son PC? Merci pour votre aide

we are wanting to setup purview labels for our PDF's in adobe it says under preference--> security check the box for purview information, but there is no box just a clear remembered account button. i have added the registry keys multiple times to make sure they are correct, per Adobe knowledge base, as well as repaired and reinstalled the newest reader. any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm currently using Acrobat Reader (64 bit) version 2025.001.21078. Recently, after launching, it goes into a weird state where it is non responsive. When I place the mouse cursor on the Adobe taskbar icon, it shows the icons/tabs for the PDF files which are open but instead of displaying the thumbnails for each file, there is what I call the whirling dervish (blue circle rotating clockwise). Nothing I have tried has addressed this. I have folwed several recommendations:Repairing the Acrobat Reader installExempting Acrobat Readere from Norton Antivirus.Updating Acrobat Reader Nopne of these worked. I'm not sure what might have brought this on. There have been a couple of minor Windows Security updates in the past week bt nothing major. I frequently have 15-20 PDF files open but nothing out of the ordinary recently. I suppoe I could turn off the "Open files that were open when Adobe was shut down" and have it start with no files open, if anyone thinks that would help. Any

RDS user account which is having problems with fillable fields/forms in Adobe Reader. The user can open PDF files from the shared folder but cannot fill in fields. If the same user closes the form & Adobe Reader, reopens Adobe Reader, and opens the same form from the recent files menu the fields are then fillable. What the heck is going on?

My numerous attempts at re-installing Acrobat Reader have been unsuccessful.   The installer downloaded fine and the installation proceeded to the end.  However, this time there is no evidence of Acrobat Reader having been installed.  I cannot find it, either under the Windows Settings for Apps nor an icon shortcut on the desktop.  The Acrobat Reader installer exe file also vanished from where it was downloaded to.  I have followed instructions on previous threads   1. Used the clean up tool - no error messages 2. Checked the C++ is repaired - no error messages   All of this is good. However each time I restart my computer and start the process again the same problem occurs. Per RDP auf einen Zielcomputer verbinden. (Laufwerke müssen durchgereicht werden)2. PDF Miniatur Vorschau im Adobe Reader aktivieren.3.. PDF Datei im Explorer anklicken, mit aktiviert Vorschau.4. Datei innerhalb eines per RDP oder Citrix verbundenen Laufwerks verschieben.Ergebnis: Verschieben nicht möglich aufgrund von Zugriff vom Adobe Prozess.Weitere Infos:Wenn die Vorschau deaktiviert wird, funktioniert das verschieben. Wird ein anderes Vorschau Programm genutzt. z.B. Edge bzw. WebView2 oder Microsoft PowerToys funktioniert das verschieben.

I would like to, for example, click on a command to go to the first page of a document, with a single click asnd no typing. That was possible a few years ago.

I am using Acrobat Reader 25.001.20997 .How do I prevent it from auto rotating and centering duriing printing.  When I google it, it says go to file, print, setup.  I can't even find file in this version, but if I click print, setup, even advanced setup, I do not see anything about autorotation and center.  I am printing on legal sized paper, and if I can get it to hug the left and upper sides of the paper I can probably save at least two pieces of paper.  (More importantly I don't have to tape as much!)

The download page for Reader has a total 3 different download buttons, and it's deceptively not telling you that the first 2 buttons will install the Chrome extension. The 2nd button has preselected checkboxes next to the button for optional software, tricking you into clicking the 1st button.  There's a hidden 3rd button that you to click the tiny "more options" below the second button to open a popup with preselected checkboxes for the optional software that the 2nd button has, but also an additional preselected checkbox for the Chrome extension. It deceptively tricks you into thinking only the 3rd button includes the Chrome extension.

Hi, Using Adobe Reader with the Purview Extension enabled to show information protection labels. When the Purview extension prompts for sign-in the user has to perform MFA with our Microsoft Entra tenant because their managed device is not recognized. Is there a way to make Adobe Reader and the Purview extension on MacOS work with Entra Condtional Access so=uch that our managed devices are recognized? Thanks

Can't print coupons from websaver.ca as a security alert comes up saying there is a restriction in my security area...was able to print for years until new upgrade on adobe acrobat reader

  The image file has no issue; the same file is working fine on Windows laptop, while getting issue in a MacBook.   

Adobe, you need to get your crap together! I can't even save a document that I didn't create a password for and there are no solutions that I have found that resolve this issue. This sucks royally!!!!
