Hello, I tried modifying the PDF file, saving it, but to no avail. Adobe Reader doesn't remember the last viewed page. Here's the attached PDF file that causes problem. I'm using Adobe Reader v.2025.001.20756 64bit on Windows 11 (latest version applied). The setting under Acrobat>Edit>Preferences>Documents> Remember last view settings when reopening the file is properly checked. Any idea?
Hi there, I'm having trouble removing an invalid signature from my PDF document. I'm reusing a document I signed last year so the signature is mine, but I deleted my Adobe account before creating a new account. Because the account I used to sign is no longer active, the signature doesn't have a valid ID certificate and won't allow me to validate or delete the signature to resign the document. Since I'm using the free version of the app, is there a way I can delete the signature or validate it again?
I have requested a distribution license to be able to deploy the free Adobe Reader to users in my organization. I haven't received any communication yet about the license or where to get the installation package. Adobe chat support couldn't help and directed me to check here. Any assistance would be appreciated.
Hello everyone, From today when trying to open a PDF file located in a network folder, acrobat reader gives me the following error: Error Security lock: Does not allow connection with ... (my route). I have looked at the security privileges and I have full control over the documents in this folder. If I try to open the documents from another PC it works without any error. I have reviewed the security options of the program and it seems that everything is fine. I've also relisted the software and it's still the same. Any idea what it could be? Thank you.
When I try to use e-signature service the box keeps closing half way through typing an e-mail, when I do manage to type it and it allows me to select where to place the signature, it just freezes and pops back up asking to type recipient details in again. I have tried on different PDFs this functions keeps faltering. Any suggestions on this please would be very welcome! Thanks, Katherine
Why is Adobe still attempting to maliciously infect customers computers? For years your own customers have been bringing up this giant problem and it STILL hasn't been fixedNo one wants the most fraudulent 'anti' virus infecting their systems. We had to force uninstall this product using Revo uninstaller, after it was removed we used a real Anti-virus and found over 20 infections, all that showed up right after fraudulent McAfee was installed. What a malicious thing for you to do to your own customers. Most clients are completely ditching your products and installing far superior alternatives because of this.We replace Adobe's malware with PDF programs that actually function, don't infect computers, don't need an account, and don't have some low IQ chatbot shoved into them. Really cute the links are all off screen. When is this going to be fixed? When you have no market share remaining? Stop tricking people into installing the trojan-horse that is McAfee, no one trusts t
Whenever I open an existing pdf document, by default Acrobat always includes the right-hand side "tools pane", which takes up about 1/3rd of the window pane. To minimise it, I have to always go to >>View,>>Show/Hide,>>Tools Pane>> then toggle/click. Or on my laptop shift+Fn Key+F4.How can I change this to not include the Tools Pane in full and just have it in its minimised form, like icons on the right-hand side, which is how it shows when I manually hide it.
I want to print page 1 twice, but it ist impossible to chose pages (here: 1,1), when a dokument has just one page. Why I want to do so?Example 1: Print two pages on one sheet of paper, then cut the paper an you get 2 smaller ones. (2 times A4 portrait printed as two times A5 portrait on one sheet of paper A4 landscape)*Example 2: Print a document containing 2 vertical pages (columns) on one horizontal page twice duplex, then cut the paper. So you get two sheets of paper contaning the left page/column at one side (front) and the right page/column at the other side (back). This is a bug an should be solved. *(To be able to show, what I want, I created a document containing the same page twice. This should not be necessary!)
I wanted to install Acrobat Reader and downloaded the installer. The installer itself automatically -- without any option to decline -- installed two McAfee programs. It also went into my Chrome and installed some extensions that it never asked me about. This is unacceptable behavior from a company like Adobe. McAfee always conflicts with existing antivirus programs, which come built into Windows. It's as if Adobe wants to intentionally break our computers or slow them down. Unacceptable that the installer doesn't even give an option to decline the McAfee products. Despicable.

Hi, wondering if anyone can help, I have a document that I created in PowerPoint using Omnes font which I activated in CC, the document is in English, when I create a pdf all the text looks like this: Ü.è·Catè·Ézßètièoðèe·Ézßèt.·Saoèñ·.CÉÉS,·iú·ao·aeyiúptž·itp.ß·a.·..è·.èat.·pi·..è·Catè· I've ticked embed all fonts in both the powerpoint advanced>save settings and the acrobat addon settings. Would really appreciate any advise. Thanks

When I go to my Adobe Acrobat Reader Account it won't let me change my primary email address. Why?
Hello, "There was a problem readinhg this document (109)". This problem only occurs on a new computer. I installed Acrobat Reader, but it can't open files from the server, only local files. Others users can open PDF files without problems. I've already tried all the solutions I found online, but they didn't work.
I have a user that had been using Adobe Acrobat Reader on a new PC for about a year without issue. A month ago, this user's Adobe Acrobat would crash when attempting to fill in a fillable field in a given PDF. If you leave the PDF alone, it will stay open, but the moment you try to edit it, or fill in a fillable form, Adobe Acrobat crashes. The user is on Windows 11 Pro and on Adobe Reader Version 2023.008.20533. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing Adobe Acrobat, removed all anti-virus, and run the Adobe cleaner/uninstall tool and the issue still persists. If anyone has any insight or advice it is greatly appreciated. I have protected view set to 'OFF' as well, as I noticed that suggestion in a lot of articles that dealt with Adobe Acrobat crashing. If there are log files available, let me know how to provide them or where they are typically stored on a PC. I open a document this morning and was faced with the new Adobe Acrobat screen. It [inappropriate]! The 'old' screen is completely functional for my needs, and works exactly as I need it to. Luckily after a bit of searching, I found an option to switch off the 'new adobe', but when open the program the first thing is another popup asking if I want to try the new Adobe! How can I stop seeing this popup, and how can I assure I'm not forced in the future to use this program, like an auto update, etc.? Adobe used to be about supporting people's creativity. Now it's about being flashy and selling us more crap Adobe, quit trying to sell us crap, and force us to use updates when we don't want to! [moderator deleted inappropriate text]

Hi Adobe Community team, our marketing department relies on very strict brand colour guidelines, but we have noticed that some of our key colours (for example #b55d91, #f68e48 and #188679) look noticeably duller and slightly greyer in Acrobat Reader than in other PDF viewers and printed proofs, even when the PDF is exported with embedded colour profiles. Are there specific colour management settings in Acrobat Reader, or an export preset you recommend, to ensure brand-accurate rendering of marketing PDFs for all users?
Has anyone had this issue and was able to resolve it? Everytime the user opens Acrobat it requires them to sign into Microsoft Purview. Selecting "Remember me for future access" does not stick.

I'm facing a frustrating issue with Adobe Acrobat DC. Whenever I try to save a document after making edits, the application freezes completely. I've tried saving in different formats (PDF, Word), but the outcome is always the same.I've already tried the following troubleshooting steps:Restarting Acrobat DC: This temporarily fixes the issue, but it happens again after a few saves.Checking for Updates: My Acrobat DC is up-to-date.Disabling Add-ons: I've disabled all third-party add-ons, but the problem persists. My system specifications are:Operating System: Windows 10 (latest update)Processor: Intel Core i7-9750HRAM: 16GBAcrobat DC Version: [Insert your Acrobat DC version]I'm using Acrobat DC primarily for editing and converting PDF documents. This freezing issue is significantly impacting my workflow. Any suggestions or solutions would be greatly appreciated.
Dear community, my customer has recently received a new MacBook with macOS 12. He is currently having the problem of receiving password protected PDFs from another company. When he opens the PDF in Adobe and enters the password, Adobe says the password is incorrect. However, when he opens it in Apple's Preview app and enters the password, he can read the contents. (Yes, we copied and pasted the password to make sure there was no typo).(translated, so the format is strange)Wenn er nun eine andere Person fragt, die nicht MacOS 12, sondern eine frühere Version von MacOS (z. If we set a new password required to read, we still can't open the PDF in Adobe Reader. However, if we set a new owner password and a new password required to read, we can open the PDF. Is there
Hello.I have been signing PDF's using an entity that generates qualified digital signatures.Using the latest version of Reader, if I open the signed PDf's in older OS like 2012r2 or W7, Reader connects automatically to the ocsp address to check for it. From that moment onwards, the signature of either the the first signed PDF or other PDF's is considered valid. If I open them, eg, in Windows 11, it does not do that and I have to add the entitiy as a trusted certificate in order to validate successfully.Since I send these PDF's to other people, it is somehow difficult to ask them to do this. What can I do to solve this? Thanks.
I am having trouble previewing PDFs in the Windows Explorer preview pane. I am running Windows 11. I have tried everything I can think of, reinstalling Acrobat Reader, making it the default program, etc. I can preview Word files and images, so this problem only occurs with PDF files.
