Hi.I've been sent PDF documents from a client. We did not generate this.I'm attempting to copy the content into another app but it exports as symbols/hieroglyphics.For example, the text "I can confirm I am aware" copies as "× ½±²º·®³ ¬¸¿¬ × ¿³ ¿©¿®»" into Word/notepad etc. There is no restrictions on copying content in the document but I've noticed the fonts appear to be tmp files. "Z@RBFA3.tmp (Embedded Subset)""Z@RBFB7.tmp (Embedded Subset)"Z@RC142.tmp (Embedded Subset)" Please confirm if there s a fix for this

My PDF Viewer in Explorer stopped working a few weeks ago. I have tried the following troubleshooting steps & they have not worked 1) Preview pane in Explorer turned on/off 2) Adobe reader "Enable PDF thumbnails previews" unchecked & re-checked. 3) uninstall/re-install Adobe reader. 4) went to Adobe program file setting & selected run in "compatibility mode" forWindow 8. 5) prayed... Nothing has worked - Anyone have any other suggestions?
Good morning everyone. Since September 3rd, with the update to version 25.1, I haven't been able to set the Italian language in the Language preferences to read my PDFs aloud when checking the accessibility of a PDF. This is despite the fact that the system language (Italian) is set in the Language and Reading preferences on my Mac Pro. Whatever changes are made, the language never changes. It always remains the same, an incomprehensible Italian-American. Also by choosing an item from the reading menu in Italian. Halp me.Thank you.
Hello, I have a customer they have query "It was possible to add PDF files directly as attachments to a Microsoft Outlook mail up until last week." A new button has been introduced where a link and a file can now be shared via Adobe's cloud service. Can the option to send the file as a link (and subsequently upload it to the cloud) be disabled by default? so that once more, all files are automatically sent to Outlook as attachments? When I download and run the Adobe Acrobat Reader installer, it ends up installing Adobe Acrobat and forces me to either start a free trial or buy a subscription. I only want Reader. I've tried uninstalling & reinstalling a few times with no luck. I've also tried contacting my school IT and they couldn't figure it out. Looking for help.
For some reason a save error has recently appeared in the last few days, both for our users who are using Adobe Acrobat Reader 2020 MUI (ver 20.005.30574) and also Adobe Acrobat (64-bit) 24.001.20615... When they open a PDF and try to "save as", then overwrite the file, they are etting an error. When they click OK, the filename on the tab changes to a random series of characters. If they instead give it a new name, it works, but then they have to save, delete the old file, then rename the newly saved file each time. Is this a new known issue, or is anyone else experiencing this?
Until now I have never had an issue with getting this darn application to read my PDFs now I cannot seem to get it fixed! I am very upset because it is causing me to fall behind in classes! "Warning emtpy page" is all the Read Out Loud keeps saying. The document is NOT empty and have 126 pages! I can't get any assignments turned in and this thing has a bug! How will this get fixed? Highly disappointed with a glitch like this when it comes to reading a 126 page document that I only need to be able to hear pages 70-126. I mean what is seriously up with that? What is the system not picking up on that it should be to read the PDF? Yes I have tried the reflow fix and NO it did not work.
I work on a helpdesk, and we keep getting people with the following error while trying to embed PDFs into Word documents. "The program used to create this object is AcroExch. That program is either not installed on your computer or it is not responding. To edit this object, install AcroExch or ensure that any dialog boxes in AcroExch are closed." I tried most of the obvious things to solve this problem (repaired Office and Reader, reverted back to an older version of reader, ran C Cleaner). I also tried some more obscure things like deleting old keys from the resistry manually and things of that nature. I don't know what else to try. There seem to be some fixes for this problem in Adobe Reader X, but based on what I've seen, none of these work in Reader XI. Does anyone know how to fix this issue?
Margins are too wide when printing a booklet, causing the font size to be too small. How do I adust? The margin setting seems to be greyed out.thanksJB
Hi,So, I know there are multiple discussion questions posted regarding Error 110, however, it doesn't seem that there's a single concrete answer that seems to solve the issue for Error 110 on Acrobat Reader DC. When attempting to save a file, after editing, the error states "The document could not be saved. There was a problem reading this document."Here are some miscellanious information that may be of some use:Working on OS X El Capitan V. 10.11.3 and Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Version 2015.010.20060Have previously checked for an update on the Reader (none available).Have previously attempted to save as a new copy (new copy fails to save, same error).Have attempted to save to Adobe Cloud (same error).Have deleted the file and downloaded a copy (same issue). However, same file is able to be saved and modified on an Adobe Reader for iPad.Thus, at this point, any input would be much appreciated.Thank You!
I have a dual-monitor setup and like to keep my primary monitor on the left and secondary on the right. While I have the Adobe Acrobat Reader DC application open on the secondary monitor, I also have my Explorer window open to list file contents and double-click the pdf files to open. If I close all open pdf documents and re-open one, it will retain the same position on my secondary monitor. If I open any additional documents, it appears to relaunch Reader over on my primary monitor. Every time. If I close Reader on my secondary monitor and then relaunch a previously viewed document, it will display at the last position on my secondary monitor where I closed it, but then back to primary monitor for every document in addition to the first, regardless of whether I had previously viewed and closed it on the secondary monitor. This is incredibly frustrating and I've looked through all of the various preferences, but do not see anything related to this.&nb
I recently got a new work computer. Now the hand tool isnt able to drag the page around, i cant draw lines with the comments annotate pen, and CTRL+mouse wheel function all dont work. Im relegated to clicking the zoom in button and using the scroll bars to navigate around the page. Can anyone please point me to where my prefs may have been changed or need to be reset on my new machine? It seems to be an Acrobat exclusive problem. Other programs work fine. Thanks in advance
When I want to open a secure PDF, I am first prompted to enter the password. Since I do not know the password, I click cancel and the Reader closes. The problem is that after doing this, I can only open a different (not protected) PDF again after removing the old Reader from Task Manager. It seems that Adobe Reader remains stuck after clicking cancel in the password screen.

I downloaded Adobe Acrobat Reader - the free version. Everytime I open a pdf file, a pop up comes up asking me to subscribe to the free trail and to buy now for the Adobe Pro. When I close out the pop up, it shuts down the Adobe Reader as well. How can I just use the free version? Thank you
Hello,I have come searching for answers and found this thread. So I followed the instructions to update my Adobe Acrobat Application. The version number is now 2025.001.20813 Unified appIs that the latest version available for macOS?My Mac is a MacBook Pro using the M1 Pro processor. As per the screenshot below, there's still no option for iCloud. If it is working for other people, then it must be me doing something wrong. But I don't know what that wrong thing is. Please help me. Thanks.
Hello, I did the Check For Updates today, on my W11 25H2 laptop, and got the update UI OK, but the DETAILS link got a 404 error.See the 2 graphics attached. The first shows a UI screen for updating to 25.001.20756. I always like to check what is being fixed, or know issues before updating, but the link gets a 404 error. I clicked to update anyway, and it actually installed version 25.001.20813 (possibly why there was bad link for the incorrectly shown 20756 version). Is there a link for the release notes anywhere, for this 20813 version please?

Hi there I have an issue where by users are experiencing Adobe becoming non-responsive when opening a protected a file. All other files work fine and initially protected files open fine as well. However when testing the issue i found that some protected files open the Acrobat window first and then pop-up for the password appears however with a specific file it opens the pop-up immediately, when selecting cancel the application then becomes non-responsive and has to be force closed from the task manager window. I have already uninstalled and reinstalled Acrobat, i disabled the protected mode and disabled the enhanced security for testing purposes. This is affecting multiple users at the moment and accessing protected pdf files is a core function of the clients business. I have also tested several "Fixes" from previous threads on here which have not resolved the issue. All functionality was working last week without any issues. The users are all on Wi
After having proceeded to the latest Adobe Acrobat Reader 25.001.20744 version two days ago PDF files will not be printed anymore completely on two independent HP printer LaserJet 277 and HP LaserJet 281 (both, LAN and WLAN connection). There will only be printed the most upper about sixth part of the page. The function "Print as a image" is not available anymore.Every other file (e.g., Word, Powerpoint, Excel, PNG) will be printed without problems. When using a screenshot program (Greenshot), and making from this screenshot a PDF file this will be printed correctly. As to me there is a major problem concerning (HP) printer drivers and the latest Acrobat Reader Update which should timely be solved.

Hi everyone in the Adobe community,Our team has recently encountered a peculiar error with Adobe Acrobat Reader. We're hoping to get some help from anyone who might have experienced a similar issue or has a potential solution. The Problem A number of our users have reported an error message popping up right after they close Adobe Reader. So far, we have identified 10 users affected, but one of them saw the issue resolve itself without any intervention. Our Observations User-Account Specific: This error seems to be tied to a specific Windows user account. When we log in with a different Windows account (with or without administrator rights) on the same machine, the error does not appear.Reinstallation Fails: Simply uninstalling and reinstalling Adobe Reader, or even using the Acrobat Cleaner Tool before reinstalling, does not fix the issue.Manual Registry Cleanup: Yesterday, we managed to fix one affected machine by completely uninstalling Adobe Reader and then manua
