Dear Community !I have got error message in all situation. All the best: PG
I use the "combine files" tool almost daily. About a week ago, it started bringing me to a page in Adobe with a grayed out picture of a cloud and rain and a message that simply said "something went wrong. Try again later." I have tried at least twice a day over the past week or more, doing the same steps I have always used to combine files, but have not had any success. I am still getting the same message. All other tools seem to be working fine. So it seems like just this feature is "broken" in some way. Please help!
Apparently I have made a grave mistake, because I uninstalled Acrobat Reader DC in the process of trying to diagnose an issue, and now I cannot reinstall it again. Every time I try to install, I get the error code 150201. I have tried many things, including restarting my computer, updating Windows 10, updating my graphics drivers, the AcroCleaner tool, and also the off-line installer. After all of them, the installation fails with the same error 150201. I assume there has to be a solution, but I'm not going to reinstall Windows in order to address this issue. How can I find out what the real issue is and how to solve it? Thank you in advance.
We are seeing issues on numerous systems (all Windows 11) when printing PDF forms. Content in various tables is missing when printing the PDF's. The content does show in the applications however. This is occuring in version 2025.001.20744 | 64-bit
Hello, I work in IT Support and some users have reported that the Acrobat Reader app freezes when performing any operations, eg adding a signature to a document - the screen goes black and the app becomes unresponsive. I managed to replicate the issue on my own machine. I try to add a signature to a document and the app becomes completely unresponsive. All Menu functions are greyed out and the only way to close the app is to Force Quit. I've seen that this issue has been discussed in the Adobe forums many times over the past few years. I tried many of the suggestions but without any success. Here's what I've tried:Uncheck "Use Page cache" and "Smooth Image": under the Page Display category.Uncheck "Enable hardware rendering for legacy video cards": under the Multimedia section.Uncheck "Show online storage saving files": in the General tab.Click "OK": and restart Acrobat to see if the issue is resolved. I also tried uninstalling/reinstalling Acrobat - still have

Hello, I have a user who needs to drag and drop several PDFs from Outlook and combine them into a PDF using this feature. Instead they get a stop symbol. They also cannot paste from their clipboard. I am experiencing it on my copy of Acrobat also to verify. I have already ran a repair and restarted their machine. We are updated to the latest version of Acrobat which is 25.001.20756, and on Windows 11 25H2. We are also using the NetDocs ndAdobe integration. Please advise, thank you.
Adobe Acrobat Reader DC version 2020.009.20063 - After already going through Accessibility Setup Assistant, when attempting to launch Read Out Loud there is an error message shown of "no US English voice available on this system". This is being seen on multiple systems. This is a vital component for users with limited vision.
I use Reader to comment on student scripts, many of them in a day. When I (used to) open a document, every time I had to choose commenting in the right box, then choose the comment tool in the top box. What a faff. There was no way to make commenting the default. But now, when I open a document, every time I have to choose commenting in the right box, then choose the comment tool in the top box, then for every comment I have to choose the comment tool in the top box - again. Why is Adobe making it so difficult to do a simple job? In the old days, I just picked up a red pen. And wrote.Unfortunately, I am not able to copy the Acrobat's version number, but it is kept up to date.
I have one PDF, But the limitation of left and bottom is 28.5 pt.For another file file, I'm able set to 0 pt. Do you know what configuaration lead to this result?I've check header, footer, boxes, but found nothing
Hi everyone, I'm hoping someone can help with a frustrating display issue I'm seeing in Acrobat Reader on my Windows 11 machine. I've noticed that the text in many of my PDFs appears jagged and slightly pixelated. It's not unreadable, but it's very harsh on the eyes, especially compared to how crisp it should be. The strange part is: If I open the exact same PDF file in Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge, the fonts are perfectly smooth and render correctly. The problem seems to be with all fonts, not just one specific type. I've already gone into Preferences > Page Display and my "Smooth Text" setting is set to "For Monitor." I have tried switching this to "None" and back, and have also tried the other options, but it makes no difference. My graphics drivers are up-to-date, and my system (i7, 16GB RAM, SSD) and high-resolution display (1920x1080) are more than capable. It seems to be an issue specific to Acrobat's rendering engine. Has a
I have tried many times, on the official download page, after selecting Windows 11 as the OS, English as the language, the Select Version was greyed out. There is no way I can go past this step to download the free reader. Help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
I need help translating text inside a PDF document using Adobe Acrobat Reader. Is there a built-in translation tool in Acrobat Reader, or do I need to use external tools?I would like to:Select text from the PDF and translate itKeep the original formatting if possibleTranslate multiple pages efficientlyI’ve tried copying and pasting text into Google Translate, but it doesn’t always work properly due to formatting and images. If anyone can suggest the proper method or tools (free or built-in), I would really appreciate it!
In Acrobat Reader, when highlighting text in a PDF, is it possible to show the actual highlighted text as a list in the 'Comments' sidebar?Currently, the 'Comments' side bar shows a list, but instead of the actual highlighted text, it just shows the words "Highlighted Text" for every Comment that is created per highlighted text (and the corresponding link to the actual text within the file).Basically, I'm just wondering whether it's possible to see a list of the actual text that was highlighted instead of just a list of links that brings you to the highlighted text within the PDF.
Hi There Multiple of our employees are struggling with Adobe Acrobat Reader when printing. When they select the Print option, it takes up to 20, sometimes 30 seconds just for the Print Windows to appear. Then once I Print, it takes another 10 to 20 seconds to to send the job to the printer. All my other Apps can print just fine and in 1 to 2 seconds. I have updated, uninstalled and reinstalled the Adobe Acrobat Reader and the Printer Drivers to latest versions, to no prevail,
Hi there. I'm having problems installing Acrobat Reader DC. I downloaded the initial executable file through both Edge and Firefox, both downloads worked correctly. When I went to install AR from the downloaded executable, it shows the downloading bar reach 50%, then the installation fails and I'm taken to the online failure screen. JavaScript is enabled, my antivirus is just Windows Defender, so nothing fancy there. I can't think of any programs that I have running that would interfere with the installation. This is an installation over a clean install, and it has worked properly in the past. It's just suddenly deciding to choke now. Thanks for any assitance.
Hi.I've been sent PDF documents from a client. We did not generate this.I'm attempting to copy the content into another app but it exports as symbols/hieroglyphics.For example, the text "I can confirm I am aware" copies as "× ½±²º·®³ ¬¸¿¬ × ¿³ ¿©¿®»" into Word/notepad etc. There is no restrictions on copying content in the document but I've noticed the fonts appear to be tmp files. "Z@RBFA3.tmp (Embedded Subset)""Z@RBFB7.tmp (Embedded Subset)"Z@RC142.tmp (Embedded Subset)" Please confirm if there s a fix for this
I’m having an issue where Adobe Acrobat Reader keeps crashing on my system. This happens when I try to open PDFs and sometimes even randomly while reading.System Details:Operating System: Windows/Mac (please advise if needed to specify exact version)Acrobat Reader Version: Latest (auto-updates enabled)What I’ve tried so far:Restarting the systemReinstalling Acrobat ReaderClearing cache / temp filesOpening different PDF filesNone of these have helped — the app still crashes frequently. Is there a known fix for this?Do I need to reset preferences or check compatibility settings?Any suggestions or troubleshooting steps would be greatly appreciated Read More https://www.garibrath.com/en/acrobat-reader-keeps-crashing-on-windowsmac
My PDF Viewer in Explorer stopped working a few weeks ago. I have tried the following troubleshooting steps & they have not worked 1) Preview pane in Explorer turned on/off 2) Adobe reader "Enable PDF thumbnails previews" unchecked & re-checked. 3) uninstall/re-install Adobe reader. 4) went to Adobe program file setting & selected run in "compatibility mode" forWindow 8. 5) prayed... Nothing has worked - Anyone have any other suggestions?
Good morning everyone. Since September 3rd, with the update to version 25.1, I haven't been able to set the Italian language in the Language preferences to read my PDFs aloud when checking the accessibility of a PDF. This is despite the fact that the system language (Italian) is set in the Language and Reading preferences on my Mac Pro. Whatever changes are made, the language never changes. It always remains the same, an incomprehensible Italian-American. Also by choosing an item from the reading menu in Italian. Halp me.Thank you.
Hello, I have a customer they have query "It was possible to add PDF files directly as attachments to a Microsoft Outlook mail up until last week." A new button has been introduced where a link and a file can now be shared via Adobe's cloud service. Can the option to send the file as a link (and subsequently upload it to the cloud) be disabled by default? so that once more, all files are automatically sent to Outlook as attachments? For some reason a save error has recently appeared in the last few days, both for our users who are using Adobe Acrobat Reader 2020 MUI (ver 20.005.30574) and also Adobe Acrobat (64-bit) 24.001.20615... When they open a PDF and try to "save as", then overwrite the file, they are etting an error. When they click OK, the filename on the tab changes to a random series of characters. If they instead give it a new name, it works, but then they have to save, delete the old file, then rename the newly saved file each time. Is this a new known issue, or is anyone else experiencing this?
Until now I have never had an issue with getting this darn application to read my PDFs now I cannot seem to get it fixed! I am very upset because it is causing me to fall behind in classes! "Warning emtpy page" is all the Read Out Loud keeps saying. The document is NOT empty and have 126 pages! I can't get any assignments turned in and this thing has a bug! How will this get fixed? Highly disappointed with a glitch like this when it comes to reading a 126 page document that I only need to be able to hear pages 70-126. I mean what is seriously up with that? What is the system not picking up on that it should be to read the PDF? Yes I have tried the reflow fix and NO it did not work.
I work on a helpdesk, and we keep getting people with the following error while trying to embed PDFs into Word documents. "The program used to create this object is AcroExch. That program is either not installed on your computer or it is not responding. To edit this object, install AcroExch or ensure that any dialog boxes in AcroExch are closed." I tried most of the obvious things to solve this problem (repaired Office and Reader, reverted back to an older version of reader, ran C Cleaner). I also tried some more obscure things like deleting old keys from the resistry manually and things of that nature. I don't know what else to try. There seem to be some fixes for this problem in Adobe Reader X, but based on what I've seen, none of these work in Reader XI. Does anyone know how to fix this issue?
