We used to be able to place an inDesign document onto an inDesign page and export it for print or screen viewing without issues. In the current 2026 version it either screws up the color export settings (for example, text that is solid black is exporting as a built black) OR causes issues with the PDF export like file corruption and missing elements.
When I try to search across all libraries for an item I get no results found. If I swich to the individual libraries search works as it should. This has only just started happening after years of use.
CC Libraries will not initialize. Followed all suggestions within Adobe Community. No luck. Note: I keep minimal CC Libraries active at a time, and I back up then deactivate all project libraries that I am no longer using. Have logged out and back into Adobe CC. Have closed and reopened programs. Libraries will not initialize for use.
Library synk and link function has been bugging for over two months now in Illustrator.Need to restart the program each time to get it working for like a few minitus, then when opening a new file to color after a restart the bugg is back again. Pls improve asap.
My Adobe CC Library does not work in InDesign. The panel shows items that are in my library, but none are clickable. They are all also distorted and pixelated. I cannot open folders. This is the only Adobe program where this is an issue.
I've tried all the troubleshooting options and its still an issue. Is there any solution to this?
After downgrading from an Adobe Business account to a Personal plan, my **Adobe Portfolio and Creative Cloud assets remain owned by the Business profile**. The Business profile now shows **0 B quota**, yet my data still exists (over 100 GB visible in Admin Console). When switching to my Personal profile, Adobe Portfolio displays *“Profile cannot be used in this app”*. Profile switching works, but **ownership does not transfer**, and there is **no self-service migration option** to move Portfolio or assets from Business to Personal. This leaves users in an **orphaned account state**: the data exists, but cannot be accessed or migrated without internal intervention. This is not a user error or configuration issue — it is a **system limitation** that occurs during plan downgrade.Adobe needs to provide:* A supported way to **reassign Portfolio ownership** from Business to Personal, or* A proper migration workflow when downgrading plans.Until then, users are effectively locked into Business a
Please fix this issue.
the library is often broken in illustrator and indesign. Assets are not clickable (using my CC on Apple Macbook Pro M3 with all recent updates)
Every day many times... I need to quit illustrator and reopen to get acess again to the library...
CC library don't let me import in to indesign since Creative Cloude updated.
For the last week, after a recent update, my libraries keep freezing after about an hour of use or if I go into another program. The only way I was able to get past this was fully closing the program and reopening again. I also have a problem with saving my files as well. We use onedrive in our office. Now when I try to save my whole computer lags. If illustrator is not open there is no problem. The only way around this while I am working is either pausing the sync or quiting onedrive. This used to work somewhat reliably over the last few releases but now it's buggy as anything. I copy just "Details" to avoid overwriting other settings, but after 50 images the feature just gives up. I've got 96GB of RAM and 4TB SSD with about 750GB of available space. It's a 2023 Macbook Pro M3 Max. Latest available LR version as of time of writing this. The whole point of this Mac was to speed things up, but now Lightroom is slowing me down to a grinding halt. Absolutely outrageous. I've restarted the Mac, I've updated Lightroom. Nothing solves this issue. Pasting all settings again doesn't solve it. This software is so broken it's actually becoming a joke that I have to pay for this mess.
Can't pull icons från CC Library in ID, what's going on?
My library panel inside photoshop, illustrator, indesign, etc keeps freezing. I have to close out the app and shut down close CC and reopen them to get it to start, but it will only work for a couple minutes until it freezes again. Very frusterating as I have all branding and assets uploaded to the library. I've seen other posts with this issue in the past but no fixes.
Unable to custom sort anything in the Libraries Palette even though Custom Sort and Custom Groups are selected.
Adobe, please Help!!In the office we have multiple users using Libraries, and they are shared between them. The libraries are not updating when someone adds a new item or moves it to a different sub folder etc... People are unable to see other peolpe's updated activity in the Libraries we can all see our own items that we added or moved or changed, but we can not see other people's. However if they go into the Creative Cloud Desktop app and navigate to the libraries tab and then click on the "Browse all" Tab at the top, the library items do show up in the display, but only if you look at it through the Creative Cloud Desktop app and then engage the "Browse all" tab. That would tell me that the sync is happening but it is not pussing it out to the actual library for some reason. This has been getting worse and worse over the last month.
Problem: White and light-colored assets are still invisible in Adobe Libraries across the entire Creative Cloud suite. Ask: Let us change the thumbnail background color — or at least display transparency. This has been a long-standing request in the forums, and it’s baffling that such a basic visibility option hasn’t been added yet. If the Transparency Grid already exists in the library option to turn on/off, why not extend that functionality to the background? Minor issue, why does InDesign label this "CC Libraries" and all of the other apps just have "Libraries" – it's out of alphabetical order only in that application for some reason.
Just in the last few days my CC Libraries are loading really slowly and sometimes they never load. I've done all the troubleshooting on this page and NOTHING HAS WORKED! https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/creative-cloud-libraries-panel-doesn-t-load-in-desktop-products.html All my apps are up to date. I'm on Mac OS 13.7.4. PLEASE HELP!
Window with all the CC Library is not loading anything -- screen is completely blank. Issue is only with Photoshop.
The creative cloud add-in for powerpoint used to work flawlessly when transferring items from Indesign into "your library" and placing into a powerpoint. Recently, everything created in Indesign is grayed out and says "this item is not supported in powerpoint" when hovering over the item. I have the current version of the plugin installed (4.6.79) and Adobe Indesign 2025.
My office uses Adobe CC and it would be incredibly helpful to utilize shared libraries for quickly sharing assets, as well and maintaining continuity across teams. I have been having a very frustrating and discouraging issues for months now: ADOBE LIBRARIES ARE UNSHAREABLE!!!When I share links to my co-workers they either never receive the invitation, or the library never loads even when the invitation is accepted. My co-worker noticed the "syncing" symbol spinning in the library window in Illustrator but that was yesterday and still...nothing. When I inspect the status of library invitees, it says they are still "pending" even after accepting the invite. Not great for productivity on large teams. If anyone knows of a better program where this feature actually works I would like to ask my company to make the switch.
Last week, the only way to switch to a different library was to quit and restart InDesign. And when attempting to open the library window, it would distort. Today, NO LIBRARIES are available. This is nuts, Adobe and a huge annoyance for something users rely on every day.
In Adobe Illustrator (29.8.1) on Mac OS 26.0, I frequently need to duplicate library items: all of my vector icons share a canvas size and other attributes, so when new icons are ready for adding to CC Libraries, it's easier to just dupe existing items and rename the dupe, before pasting in my new icon (side complaint: Illustrator still defaults new library assets added from an Illustrator file to "align to pixel grid," which requires extra work on my part to mitigate). Recently, the contextual menu in the Libraries panel (invoked by right-clicking on a library item) is just not there. Restarting Illustrator doesn't fix this issue (although restarting my Mac does).
