It seems silly but a small pop-up that states "Font activation plug-in disabled" disables adding videos to the render queue or use Media Encoder. The annoying thing is that the pop-up "pop-ups" behind the ME window and often behind every open window on the computer. It won't even show up when viewing all ME windows on mac. After moving all open windows and finding the pop-up I just click "Ok" and everything works fine. I use "connect fonts" as a font management which is the reason for the pop-up.
I had this issue in previous version:When I export from Premiere Pro to Media Encoder to render or if I try to create proxies, AME only renders 1 frame and all i get is a still image for the duration of the original video sequence...I deactivated Dynamic Link which solved my problem... Now after the last update I have the same issue, but not from the beginning:Started to create 15 proxies in a queue... everything fine...Then i startet another 4... fist was fine, 3 others again just 1 frame... all 4 was 1 queue!I tried a proxy that already worked... it didn't work again.... doesn't matter what I want to render, I just get 1 or 2 frames an then just this one image for the duration of the video! I tried to deactivate DynmicLink again ("native import") but for what ever reason it doesn't solve my problem anymore! Can anyone help please? really urgent and I have no idea what to try...If I render with Premiere Pro everything is fine, but AME just gives me a video with the corr
Original file is a 12 min. 4K 30fps iPhone video that plays back without any problems. After editing down to under 6 min. and doing some color correction in AE, every attempt at rendering in Media Encoder, no matter what codec I choose (including ProRes 4444), always results in certain sections of the video playing back stuttering at a reduced frame rate. Those sections are always the same in each instance. I also tried reducing the resolution in ME to HD and get the same stuttered result.
Hello, I have issue with ME2024. It keeps on crashing during rendering (crashes, jams system not responding at all and eventually reboots Finder) and I haven't found any resolution yet. Sometimes rendering goes complete but most of the tries fails. My system is 16" MBP mid 2019 2,4GHz 8-core Intel Sonoma 14.2.1 installed. I usually transcode large files from prores hq to high quality mp4. Fcpx/Motion user and some supported 3rd party plugins installed. Now trying back 2023 versions. If you have any ideas I could check and would possible give any hint what's going on please help me. BR, Jussi
Media Encoder needs to add an h.625 encoding option for 422 10 bit. It's available in Davinci Resolve, shutter encoder, and handbrake - can't understand why it's not available with Adobe. I use HEVC 422 10 as an archival render setting for projects where I need to preserve a compressed copy of the project files that are still usable without being so large. HEVC is perfect for that but Media encoder doesn't support Main 10 422 encoding. The current work flow options I have are shutter encoder - which is extremely slow - or Davinci - which is tedious. I'm sure I'm not the only one who would benefit from this update as I've seen several posts asking similar questions with no resolution other that to refer to the other platforms that do it. Media Encoder is missing an opportunity to fill a gap here.
Hello! I really could use some help. I am trying to export an animated video I made with audio and turn it into a mp4 file so I can watch it. Everything seems to work just fine, but when Adobe Media Encoder is finished encoding my file and I play the video half of the video is cut off from the bottom (so I can only view the top half of what I've animated) and there is no audio. I have checked to make sure that the video will export with the same dimesions of my canvas, but it just isn't working. I have followed everything this guide (https://helpx.adobe.com/animate/how-to/export-video-mp4.html) has said, but I am unable to get it to work. I have tried exporting the sample file on that page, which works, but mine won't. If you're able to help you'll have to explain things in a very simple way because I haven't used Animate or Media Encoder before. Also, this website won't let me attach my file, otherwise I would so someone could help me out. Thank you for the help!
I'd love a publish option in Media Encoder that would copy the output file to an arbitrary location in the filesystem. Essentially, I'd like to output the file on one drive, an then automatically copy it to another folder on another drive when the output is complete. Cheers!
I would love to see an option that allowed you to drop files onto an ingest preset and be prompted for the location that the files will be encoded too.
hi, i need to download security update for adobe media encoder 23.6.5. Please advise where to download. Thank you
If you set a custom output name in media encoder, and then click the check mark for 'Use Maximum Render Quality', the custom name is reset back to whatever it was originally. This is particularly unhelpful as the Output Name appears first so if you're going down the list setting all of your output settings, and then check 'Use Maximum Render Quality', you may not realise that the Output Name has been reset. In Adobe Media Encoder, would it be possible to implement that when you press ESC, and before stopping the render, a confirmation message appears asking if you really want to stop it?
Hi,I read many posts on this forum in Media Encoder CPU usage (50% instead of 100% for exemple), but I never read about optimisation. So, I got two questions :What is the maximum number of CPU cores that Media Encoder supports ?If I have to do two equivalents renders, what is it the best :make my renders one after the other in a 20 CPU coresmake my renders alongside on two 10 CPU coresTell me if you need more informationsThanks !

Hi team,I'm attempting to send a raw photo sequence from AE to Media Encoder for export. The photo sequence is edited in Lightroom Clasic and then imported to AE. A comp is then created from the image sequence. The sequence is comprised of about 300 Nikon raw NEF files (a timelapse sequence). I'm attempting exporting in Qucktime Proress HQ format, using the original image size, at 30 fps. In ME this is the error seen in the log:Export ErrorError compiling movie. Acrtic Wolf scans my network for vulnerabilities. It flagged a computer for Adobe Media Encoder, and the remediation says: Update to version 23.6.2 or 24.0.3 or later. Please see the references for more information. I am having trouble finding the update. Please help! 🙂
Hi I have Premeire Pro 2021 on a iMac Sonoma 14.4.1. I have a 2 hr video edited in Premiere that I normally export as a Pro Res 422 file, then author in Toast 20 Pro. The problem I have is the file size is 22.06 GB and when the Bluray disc is played, there are drop outs.I read posts, and tried h.264 Bluray export. Files were too big to author to disc.Any suggestions on providing HD quaility with out disc errors?Thank you.
We have a watch folder set up to encode videos when we move video clips into it.Usually after the clip is placed into the "Watch" Folder the encoding begins and the completed clip is placed in a folder named "Output" and the origanal clip is moved into a folder named "Source".Now the origanal clip stays in the folder it where it was first placed and nothing is in the "Source" folder and the completed clip is placed in a folder named "Output".The problem is that the encoding process will start again the next time Encoder is run, as the clip is still in the "Watch" folder.Adobe Media Encoder 2024V. 42.3 (Build 49)
Hi CC,I installed updates to various apps in my creative cloud this morning. Media Encoder CC refuses to open. I have uninstalled and re-installed 3 times according to instructions in the forums. Adobe Encoder has encountered an unexpected error and cannot continue. Can you tell me if there are problems with this installer? I have to explain this to my employer. Thanks - PeteHigh Sierra 10.13.4
I have a very recurring problem, from time to time the media encoder does not finish completing the render, it always takes a second to finish, it stays for hours without moving, until I stop it and try again with the same result. I clear cache, restart, I have updated all Adobe apps, video drivers and it always happens, no matter the format, h264, avi, quicktime.Windows 11, 32Gb ram, 4060 TI 16Gb, Ryzen 7 5700X, AME 24.3. any ideas please

For the longest time I've been using Media Encoder and the YouTube settings to upload my content automatically. Well all of a sudden it just stopped working. It say's I'm logged in but when I go to export and upload the media exports fine but errors out on the upload saying I'm not logged in. I've tried everything I can think of. From signing out of YouTube and restarting my system but the login still appears. I've removed every single custom export setting, completely removed Premiere, Media Encoder and After Effects. Then rebooting and reinstalling, to no avail the youtube login still remains. Please some one give me some advise, I've literally tried everything I can think of besides creating a completely new user profile and starting from scratch with I'd really like to avoid. Thank you! Looking to get some help from the pros. I generally like using H.264 to export my files out for viewing. They tend to be pretty widely accepted and most people can watch it. I do have one problem when I export them through Media Encoder the files are very big. I recently finished a simple video of about 7mins that came in at almost 500mb. To me, this seems very big and it is no way convenient for web viewing as the file is just too large. What can I do or what setting should I be using to make this more accessible to people online. Thanks for the help in advance.
Hi,I continue to study this wonderful conversion tool. But I'm confused that I can't find a way to not recode the audio or video stream, but just add it unchanged. This feature is available in a lot of free tools and probably in this advanced one, but I can't find it. Is there any clue?Thank you
