Adobe Media Encoder

I queue up a project with image 1 in the encoder render, then I go back to the project and change it to image 2 while the first video is still rendering. The encoder changes image 1 to image 2 halfway through the first video. The problem is that for the last two years I have been working the same way and nothing changed in the real-time render if I changed something in the project, but now it changes. This has never happened before.

Hi!I’m encountering a bug when exporting sequences with captions from Adobe Premiere Pro to Adobe Media Encoder (AME). In Premiere Pro, I have a sequence that includes captions (see image01 below). When I send this sequence to AME to render, I choose not to include captions in Premiere's Export window. However, once the sequence reaches Media Encoder, the captions are automatically turned on, and the video is exported with burned-in captions even though I disabled them. Settings and BehaviorI always use the built-in Apple ProRes 422 HQ export preset in Premiere (see image02 below). Here’s what I’ve found:If I export using the preset without modifying any settings in Premiere's Export window, the sequence is exported correctly by AME, with no captions burned in.If I modify any part of the preset settings in Premiere's Export window (for example, I typically disable Effects and Metadata, see image03 below), and send the sequence to AME, the exported video ends up with burned-in

Premiere Pro V25.6.4 사용중이고 프로그램 화면에는 폰트가 잘 나오는데 인코더 내보내기 사용하면 폰트가 누락되서 나옵니다.Media Encoder V25.6.4 사용중입니다. 특정 폰트 오류인줄 알고 폰트 재설치 해도 똑같습니다.간혹 Creative Cloud에서 환경설정 - 서비스 - Adobe Fonts 동기화 취소하면 제대로 나올때가 있는데새로 프로젝트 만들때 마다 폰트 누락이 뜨는걸 봐서는 심각한 문제인것 같습니다. 저만 그런가요?혹시 해결하는 방법이 있나요?

Hi there,I'm reporting this as this is the second time I've experienced the issue.When I am batch exporting sequences sent from Premiere Pro using media encoder, the audio levels of the export don't always match the timeline, resulting in the music being way too loud.Note: This happens about 30% of the time on (manually duplicated & reframed) sequences. Here are the details:I manually reframe my edits by duplicating the sequence and changing the sequence settings.I notice that when batch exporting the original sequence, there are no issues. However, when the duplicated/reframed sequences are batch exported, the music is way too loud and does not always match the sequence volume levels. I am running Premiere Pro (Version 25.6.4 (Build 5)) & Media Encoder (Version 25.6.4 (Build 4) on macOS 26.2.

The exported video is shifted to the right side of the frame. This causes the right side of the video to be cropped/cut off, while a appears on the left side. I marked red box

I always have to quit and restart Media Encoder after making changes to a dynamically linked comp in After Effects, before exporting from Premiere.  Otherwise, it shows as Media offline in Media Encoder during the render.  This has been going on for what seems like forever- over multiple past versions.  My Adobe apps are always updated to the latest.  Please fix. MacOS Sonoma 14.7.1

Hi all, I’m encountering an issue when exporting a video via Media Encoder, where certain sections of the exported video appear as a black, pixelated outline of the image. Please see the attached screenshots (Export Issue 01 and Export Issue 02) for reference. The issue is also visible during the render process in Media Encoder itself (screenshot attached). I’ve completed three exports so far. Each export reproduced the issue, although the affected sections were not exactly the same each time. I've only seen this problem occur during export in Media Encoder. Hi!I have recently bought a new PC (Intel Core i7 14700K, GeForce RTX 5070 Ti, 64GB DDR5 RAM) and since then I can't use Adobe Media Encoder as a background task anymore. The rendering speed is about 20 times slower when I just open Photoshop or Premiere and AME is minimized compared to AME being in front. CPU ad GPU usage drops significantly when AME runs in the background as the following screenhots show: On my old PC I have never experienced anything like that, so I wonder if there is some setting that might be responsible for that behavior?

Hi,In Media Encoder I have adjusted all settings incl "use maximum render quality". But when I select preset for next video, the "max render quality is disabled. How come? I am exporting an number of video's in 1080x1920.H.264 MP4 format with AE and Media Encoder.

App versions: Premiere Pro Version 25.6.3 (Build 2)Media Encoder Version 25.6 (Build 98) Platform and OS:PC with Windows 10 Home 22H2 Build 19045.6691 and Extended Security Updates Summary: When exporting in XAVC HD Long GOP format, the resulting video will occasionally contain glitches, similar to datamoshing, as if coded intra blocks contain illegal references to other frames. This has been observed in a test pattern that is mostly static, but has some graphical elements moving in different directions. All attempts to remedy the issue through uninstalling and reinstalling the software, changing settings, updating drivers, using different SSDs, etc have failed to remedy the issue. In older versions of the software (e.g. Premiere Pro 2021 and Media Encoder 2021,) exporting in XAVC HD Long GOP will not produce those artifacts on the same system (it will however instead produce video well below the target bitrate even when the content motivates a higher bitrate.)

HEVC h.265 is missing in Adobe Media Encoder 25.6 on macOS - It is available in Premiere, Though.This is happening on multiple machines of different types across my team. And we are at a loss as to why this is happening and what to do about it. Any concrete information about H.265 support in adobe products on macOS would be appreviated. We do still see H.265 in Premiere. But sending an export to Media Encoder causes the selected codec to switch to AAC audio.  Media Encoder: Version 25.6 (Build 98)macOS: Sequoia 15.0 through 15.7.3This appears to have started happening in one of the recent Media Encoder 25.x versions.H.265 presets are still present, but when we select them we get an error about the codec being missing.

 hi all,  I have a question when using software only encoding in h264, VBR 1 pass mode:the sample screenshot showing 3 files encoded from the same sequence, using 3 different VBR settings, Target20 Max20, Target10 Max10, Target7 Max7from the bitrate viewer graph,  basically only the beginning part of the video (with some dynamic fast moving video content) reflects the difference in bitrate encoded,  the rest of the video (more like training/ static slide/screen demo style video) looks almost identical in bitrate encoded.is this encoding behavior in Software only CPU VBR mode intentional by design?

Hi, the Media Color Settings AME: do they affect the output file or are they just for "previewing"? I am working with all latest updates on Windows 11. I work for TV broadcast mostly and my final files are ProRes422 QT Movie on Windows. Mostly HD. What are the best settings to use? ThanksJan

Greetings Adobe Community, Yesterday, we had the privalege of encountering a loading bug that prevents Media Encoder from loading, as the attached snippet shows. Nowhere near as notorious as Loading Error 0xc0000142 in Windows Enterprise, but not having Media Encoder can cause inefficienes in workflow, especially since we stack a lot of exports. Credit goes to someone on Reedit, where CoPilot found a solution. Basically, we removed these files from the Media Encoder commons location:- ImporterARRIRAW.prm- ImporterMXF.prm The files are copied elsewhere. Because we use Windows Enterprise, IT needed to move the files. I also suppect that if we reinstall Media Encoder, these files may be reintroduced? Of course, if you deal with these types of footage, they would not have the import support. But we don't use this type of footage, so the fix works out for us.

In the prefs section of ME there is a toggle that asks to add increment if saving file same name. I turn this off, because I want that exisiting file overwritten but I get that damn sheep!!! Please fix so when it is off, i can overwrite files already there!!! TY 

Hello everyone, I hope you can help me.I DO NOT want to burn subtitles into the video, but rather create the video in such a way that I can open or close the subtitles. I've tried so many things—do you have any tips?

Media Encoder freezes at a particular point in my sequence when I try to export it. This happens repeatedly on two different computers, both are running the current version of Premiere and Media Encoder. Oddly, I can export a subset of the sequence that includes the moment where Encoder freezes, but not the entire sequence. Encoder v25.6Premiere v 25.6.3Mac iOS 26.0.1
