I’m genuinely curious to get a sense a sense of this. Let me be clear, this post is not about troubleshooting what’s causing the crashes.For weeks now I’ve been triggering multiple crash reports a day, sometimes up to a dozen. I’m typing the same thing into the “Please tell us what led to this error” field and providing my email address every time. I would expect that when you receive 100+ crash reports from the same person with the same problem, you might make good on that statement “Adobe may contact me for fixes and workarounds”But I’ve heard nothing. That’s why I want to know, has anyone in this community EVER been contacted by Adobe with a workaround, after submitting one of these forms?   

Hi!I m an Apple Laptop user and am already forced to loose the camera notch bar space when being in full screen mode of my actual screen as MacOS blacks out the whole Notch line, even though the notch is at a place where no crucial informations are placed = easy to tolerate. But no. Not possible. (?) And being added to that - in Premiere, there is this huge Home bar on top which additionally kills so much space which I dont use while editing. Means with those two conditions I m loosing around 15% of my Laptop screen hight already for nothing. I cant find any solution to switch it off or make it narrowed. And this question is already up for years. So, is there finally a solution??? 🙏 🙏🏼 🙏🏻 🙏🏿

IssuePremiere Pro 26.0 fails to transcribe audible dialogue and displays “No dialogue found” when using MP4 files downloaded from YouTube via a third-party downloader. Hi guys, I’m working on a TV show and i’ve inherited some part of footage from my assistant editor. The workflow we use for audio is standard STEREO 2 ch. However the part my assistant made was set to “adaptive audio”. I just copied/pasted it into my stereo seqence and.. there is “Audio Playback Issue”. Fixed by duplicate etc. Now my sequence looks fine. All files are “mono, 7 ch.” as they should be - however I cannot control Volume as they still act as adaptive. After doing some research I’ve managed to walkaround this - duplicate sequence, delete all audio from the new one and drag/drop it from the previous one using “sent to source”. That brings back my volume settings. However… after reopening project it’s back to “act-as-adaptive” mode.Render and replace also does the work - but I want to keep the files as original. How to fix it, for good? Issue – I cannot seem to get the Responsive Design-Position to work when trying to pin a shape to text. I’ve tried multiple times, restarted computer and Premiere... Steps to reproduce – I create a text layer, inside properties I create a shape and then restack the shape to be below the text. I select the shape and scroll down to RD-P and select the text I want to pin to and hit the PLUS shaped pin to corner button to the right. The X and Y axis numbers change, but the box doesn’t change shape or size and when I type more text the box doesn’t change size to accommodate text.  Expected result – The color shape box should change size to the size of the amount of text and change size if text goes beyond border of the box. Actual result – Nothing. After creating Object Mask 01, Premiere Pro does not highlight or enable the options needed to create a second object mask. While Object Mask 02 is technically created, no overlay appears. To restore the subject highlighting, I have to save the project, close Premiere Pro, and then restart both the application and the project.

^^^ Source Window EXPORTED FRAME: crazy blown out ^^^ Source Window, screenshotted (Windows+Shift+S) - so this is what the Source Window LOOKS LIKE to me as I’m working^^^ The same clip in my program monitor in my timeline (no effects added onto the clip in the timeline) -- EXPORTED FRAMECan someone explain why when I export the frame from the Source Monitor that it comes out looking blown out? It doesn’t look like that in the User Interface of Premiere.I have some lumetri color correcting going on in the source, so there’s no difference between the source and the program.Turning off the lumetri effect on the source clip, I get this as an exported frame:But this as a screenshot of the UI in Premiere: Here are my lumetri settings:

This happened in every version of premiere previously where I cloud re-link from the timeline, and all the files that were missing in the NESTED parts as well had that. Now i have to individually go to every nest to re-link files. This slows down my workflow significantly. Actual Result:No response. The interface remains unchanged. I’m one of four Assistant Editors on a docuseries and we’re very close to turnover on three episodes. I’ve created & saved a custom Label Color preset and would like to share them with the other AEs so they don’t have to recreate the wheel. I can’t find the Label Color preset in Documents (we’re on Mac). Where does Premiere save custom Label color presets?

Looking for a way to import clips using a “starts with” filename match (Premiere Pro / Automation Blocks / spreadsheet-driven workflows)I’m using Automation Blocks for Premiere Pro to automatically pull video clips into a sequence based on file paths generated from a spreadsheet.Previous workflow (worked well): All footage was shot on one camera. Filenames followed a simple, predictable pattern (e.g. 1J1A0001.MP4, 1J1A0002.MP4, etc.). While filming, I logged the clip number in Excel. A formula built the full file path (path + prefix + clip number + extension). Automation Blocks could find each clip via an exact filename match and import it into a sequence. New issue: I added a second camera (Canon R5C recording .mxf). Canon filenames are much longer and include metadata (date, UUID, etc.). If i do a clean install of Windows 11 24H2 i cannot playback mp4 files with 5.1 audio. Microsoft writes "Beginning with Windows 11, version 24H2, the AC-3 codec is no longer included with Windows." and no solution is available such as "Buy the AC3 codec in MS Store now!!".   To reporduce: 1. Do a clean install of Windows 11 2. Install Premiere Pro 3. Import a mp4 file with 5.1 audio.   Result: The file will be imported as video-only.   Expected result: That the file imports as Video/Audio and that i can playback the file and hear the 5.1 audio.   Additional info: If you have upgraded from a prior version of Windows 11 to 24H2 the AC3 codec is included, so doing a clean install of Win 11 24H2 is vital to reproduce this.   I have a HP Z4 G5 workstation and none of the audio drivers for this machine do contain any AC3 codec that Premiere Pro can use.   Any solution from Adobe?   Microsoft document: Codecs in Media Player - Microsoft Support

There seems to be a bug in Premiere 2024 (latest update) where when I import a .scc file originally created in Telestream Caption Maker, and have music symbols around lyrics of a concert, a lot of the closing music note symbols around lyrics are not there, causing me to have to replace them.  They are in the original caption and .scc files before importing into Premiere.  Very time consuming and irratating to have to replace these!  This has happened on two separate concerts I have captioned in Premiere.Thanks- 

I just updated to 2026 Premiere and every single time I open my project it crashes before it can open. Switching back to 2025

Desde hace casi un mes cambie mi computador de uno windows a una Macbook M5 PRO, desde que hice el cambio el premiere ha estado teniendo errores al momento de realizar la transcripción, ya sea que omite palabras, o simplemente las detecta como otra cosa que no tiene nada que ver con lo que dice el video, intente muchas soluciones, como borrar cache, desinstalar y volver a instalar todo, pero aun asi, nada, sigo sin solución, todo mi trabajo he tenido que hacerlo manual (el tema de la transcripcion, ya que la unica solucion que encontre fue pasarlo a mi pc windows hacer la transcripcion y luego volver a la mac, pero es un lio total, ya que compre la Macbook, por temas de viaje y ya que no siempre puedo estar en mi PC windows de escritorio, espero puedan ayudarme a solventar este problema, gracias de antemano
