I just installed AF Created a comp and tried to import an image the image is in the comp but I can't see itI tried with other stuff also like solids or text it seems I can only see it if the comp is on 100% zoom and it's not showing anything over the edges

Hi everyone,I’ve created several strokes under the composition file named "Stroke", and they were working perfectly within the main animation earlier. However, the strokes have suddenly disappeared from the main comp, they’re still visible inside the "Stroke" composition, but not showing up when combined with the other layers or the rendened video.This has happened twice now. The first time, they somehow reappeared on their own and I’m not sure what I did to fix it. Has anyone experienced this issue before or know what might be causing it? This is kinda driving me crazy...I’d really appreciate any insight!

Hallo liebe Community, wenn ich After Effects auf Version 25.2.2 update und anschließend versuche das Programm zu öffnen, bekomme ich auf meinem Macbook Pro (Apple M2 Pro) eine Meldung: das Program sei beschädigt.After Effects lässt sich weder öffnen noch lässt sich das Problem irgendwie beheben.Das einzige das hilft ist, wenn ich auf eine frühere Version downgrade. Falls jemand das gleiche Problem hat oder hatte und eine Lösung gefunden hat, würde ich mich über einen kurze Austausch sehr freuen.Viele GrüßeBenjamin

Hey Everyone,So I'm creating an animation in AE, but first I wanted to create a custom logo in Illustrator. It's a simple word and rectangular box outline. I had separated the text as individual shapes so that I could manipulate each one manually in AE. Having separated each shape into its own layer I saved the file. I only used ONE artboard. The background is obviously not black, and it's in RGB colorspace not CMYK. Going into AE I import the file with the following setup: All layers import. The problem is that they are all black when I open the composition.If anyone can please answer this question it would be greatly appreciated as I haven't found the correct answer after searching the forums for the last couple hours.Thanks!

There are unknown marks in layer. What is the reason?

However, when I open After Effects, it says, "Advanced 3D is not supported by current Hardware." My work requires the use of Advanced 3D, so I don't know what to do now.I use an NVIDIA GTX 1060 3GB RAM 64 and I have already updated my drivers.In this Pic i try to created shape but it won't work

What is the good mouse you suggest for Ae? I use regular mouse many times precision is impossible. For example if want to zoom in using Alt key and mouse wheel many times it jump in and display larger image than what I wanted to.  

Got an odd problem. Since upgrading to AE 2020, in the "Top" window, the y-axis arrow (of the camera) doesn't work. I can drag on the y-axis in the comp layers but not in the "Top" window. The z-axis and x-axis work fine.Been actively using After Effects for fifteen years so I'm not a rookie. All my layers are set for 3D space. I recreated my scene three times; one of the recreations was one layer and a camera (no luck). I reset all the settings in After Effects (no luck). I went back to my other computer with 2018 on it and it works great (as it always used to). Any hints???  

I am using it with Ray Dynamic Colour. But it may be an issue without it too.

Hello, im new to AE. I try to use rotobrush but When i pause on the second frame im not able to modify my rotobrush like on the first one and it doesnt change if i hit the button "freeze". Does anyone has an idea why i can't? everything look the same in the second frame except that the outline doesn't change. Im really stuck

Buenos días, Llevo un par de dias intentando exportar un proyecto pero no me deja, al llegar a cierto punto me aparece ''Memory allocation of 2,1GB exceeds internal limits. Decrease the memory requirements for the rendering of this frame. (12802). He probado de borrar el disk caché, buscado los errores tipicos de after, si algun efecto excedia los limites de la RAM o alguna cosa, pero todo está bien. El video es un carrusel donde muestro diferentes colores de un producto, el carrusel es de 9 productos y tengo que hacer 2, lo raro es que en el primer carrusel no he tenido ningún problema en renderizar y en el segundo me aparece el problema. ¡Gracias! 

This is ridiculous that i've now saved my projects in the new Adobe After Effects and can't use my plugins. There should have been clear warnings before updating that Rosetta will be gone. Adobe, bring it back. It is a crucial component to using your software and I can't think of anything more important that's missing. It's truly usability breaking

After Effects freezes on "Initializing Required Components" when launching.However, if I open it immediately after starting the PC, it launches fine and works for 1–2 minutes. Hello there, I would like to know how to add a material to a 3d model (obj) that I  imported into aftereffects? i can add lights to it but i want to add or change materials

I m trying to do a simple text mask on a video.I have a video layer and a text layer on top that I convert into a mask (create / create masks from text).I copy this mask and paste it on my video layer, and it just create another layer with the outlined font.Can someone give me the trick to mask the video with the text outlined.Thank you

The first bug is the simplest to describe/report. As of 25.2, when I create a text layer and then select some text and right-click, I am no longer able to add a text animator (the option is greyed out/not selectable). --The second bug is that running a script through Kbar disables the option to use keyboard shortcuts to select another layer (ctrl+up/down) unless I select the composition panel again. This is also new as of 25.2. I have a script that copies any markers on a selected layer to the composition timeline. It used to be the case that I could click the Kbar button to run the script, press ctrl+up to select a different layer, and then press the Kbar button again without having to reselect the composition panel.--The feature request is related to the Glow effect. It used to be that the glow radius and intensity were simple values (presumable pixel values?). The meaning for Mask in Cambridge dictionary is FACE COVER. That means it hides. But in Ae mask means everything is hiden outside the masking region. That means inverse meaning in Ae. What is the reason for that?  

In latest AE 25.2.2  is strange bug - When you use intensivelly layer markers and zoom into the timeline, then mysterious, non existing markers pops up. When you continue to zoom into timeline  (using mouse wheel and alt), they dissapear, but appear again when you move and zoom in and out over the timeline. Video with recorded buggy behavior attached.. And also the whole timeline picture to prove that markers does not exist in real..I did not observe this in 25.2It is just happening in 25.2.2
