Is that font changer or something else? Im trying to make this over the last week and i could't. Its so butter smooth.

Hi,my coworkers and I collaborate on AE projects (no team-projects) using Sharepoint. This workflow works really well with Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign but After Effects doesn´t seem to like it. We work with MacBooks and always collect/package all media on the sharepoint but more often than not After Effects just loads the file for 10-20 minutes when my coworkers open the project. Other times the start-up time is quite short but the media is missing even though the files are collected.  We already tried this workflow (which works but is to time consuming):1. collect files and save it on the sharepoint2. If someone else needs to make changes they copy the whole folder to their local drive and when finished they collect the files again and save the new version to the sharepoint replacing the old folder Is there a better and less time consuming way to do this? Is there any way to make the shatter effect work in a way where as individual pieces have been shattered for longer, they either change color, or decrease in opacity? Almost how CC Particle World works. If not, is there any workaround I could do?

i have a project with hundreds of dissolvesi need to import all of the timeline into after effects to work on each clip.right now cross dissolves doesnt not cross over to after effects as opacity keyframes.i`m looking for a work around here, because manually doing so to each layer is literally totureany ideas ?

I just rendered a composition of mine, and going back on the project it now refuses to play, and shows me just a grey screen (see below). When I move across the timeline it shows a black screen instead I tried restarting AE, restarting my computer, but those didn't work I tried previewing other projects and they worked just fine Also, when I try and close after effects while on this broken composition, after effects freezes and i have to force quit. I'm on an M1 chip Macbook Pro, 16GB memory, Sequoia 15.6.1 ^ When scrolling through the timeline ^ When idle

Every time cinema 4d renderer is selected AE crashes - M1 Macbook pro MAX This occurs regardless of the project. It is not possible to change the 3d renderer to cinema 4D or to create a new composition with cinema 4d. AE version is 25.6.0(Build 101). Mac is running Tahoe 26.2.Tried re-installing, purging cache, disabling all 3rd party plugins to no avail.

Hey all, I'm very new to using an editing platform, forgive me if this is a simple thing. I created roto mask for the "twin" subjects and key framed the position. Works great, but curious to know how he created this trail effect behind the subjects coming in to frame? any help would be awesome.

Hello Everyone.I have a very basic Scene less than 10 seconds, and I am watching a Tutorial on Pot Player on Tracking. I noticed After Effects did Freeze few times. I'm attaching the Error Message. I do have a fairly strong Computer. Also for Better Performence, I have my Mximum Disk Cache inside my C Drive "SSD", and Conformed Media Cache on my F Drive "SSD". I have used this Technique for my Premiere Pro files. Hi everyone I need help with a situation that I am facing with Adobe After Effects. I have no idea what happened previously AE used to work just fine when launching the app. Now sadly every single time I try to launch the app, the app constantly freezes on Boot Splash Screen. I don't even see any of the small letters running on the bottom left indicating the software is loading up. So I have to waite couple of minutes and the app just closes by itself and it constantly produces a .crash file on my Desktop. Is there any way I send that file for someone to take a look into it cause this issue has been bugging me for a long time. So far the only workaround is whenever I run the app. I need to use CTRL+ Shift + Alt and launch AE and reset my preferences. Once I reset that only then the app runs correctly. But then the moment I close out of the app and launch it again, it just keeps getting stuck on that Boot Splash logo screen.   Doing CTRL+ Shift + Alt is a temp fix to

The tools do not work. I tried using them and it only shows:It only shows *** GLOBALS and then it's just empty. Why? It should show something even if my effect does not have statics or globals in it, right? Hii am trying to do 3d camera solve. After analizing, even though i select track point on the ground plane, the solids are not orienting as they are in ground plane. Solids are coming only in front view. please see the image i have attached. you can see i have selected the points on the ground but the solid is coming in front view.Please help me. i am stuck.

I have tried everything I can think of. I've cleared the cache, closed all other programs, restarted the program AND my computer, and there's nothing in the file that would cause this. My computer is quite beefy and should have the processing power. I'm using version 25.6.0      

I've been editing in After Effects for 3 months, ever since I bought my graphics card (RTX 3050 6GB). I've always preferred the After Effects render queue to Media Encoder, since my PC is a bit slow and I prefer not to waste time exporting directly to h264 mp4. However, yesterday (I had already rendered a video normally), when I needed to correct an error in the editing, I went to export it and it took about 1 hour and 20 minutes to finish. After that time, I discovered that the "hardware encoding" option was disabled. Shortly after these problems, I received a notification about an Nvidia driver update (NVIDIA Studio Driver v.591.44), and I made sure to update, thinking that was the reason for the deactivation. That's why I'm asking here: is this new driver incompatible or something like that? Hi! I have an animation where a series of text boxes slide from right to left. I want that, whenever a text box reaches a certain point on the screen (green line), it freezes for some time. As an addition, I would also like for the text to become bold or bigger.Below I attach what I want to achieve. I did it by carefully making a new bold textbox appear when time was right, but I have a lot of texboxes sliding, and I would like to not do this for this one. I never used expressions, but if it was possible to transform (sustain position, enlarge, make it bold) any textbox that reached the green line, it would be great. Thank you  

Recently I've been getting a very frustrating error in AE, anytime I move or resize the Composition window I get the following error "Direct 2D Drawbot Error. HRESULT: -2003238911" This only happens when I resize or move windows affecting the composition window. This happens even when nothing is open in the window, even on a brand new project. I can move other window panels around so long as it doesn't affect the composition window.  I'm using AE 25.6.0 and have tried rolling back through every version of AE 25 and still have the issue.My system specs areWindows 11Intel i9-13900kNvidia Geforce RTX 4070 Super96gb RAMI've attached a screen recording of the issue. Thanks

This is an issue I've begun experiencing this year.  I'm praying someone can help me.<IMAGE ATTACHED TO OUTLINE ISSUE> SUMMARY:I will create and work on simple projects that use a combo of JPGs, mp4s or MOV assets.  AE will operate fine.  Renders will be fine.  Everything will be fine. ..But without fail, days/weeks/months later, I will go to open one of these projects and be met with an infinite loop of pop-up messages  Each pop-up will appear one after another, and they will say the same thing for each asset in my library  1) "AE error: File Exists, but couldn't be opened."and then2)"AE Warning: Unable to open ____. If the file is open in another application, closing it may solve the problem." ...I will spend minutes clicking OK for each of these pop-ups, but they never stop.  Eventually I will always have to force-quit after effects. I know it could be a number of things, but I'm most confused by the fact that th
