After Effects

Hey guys, I have already made a text animation with the Animator 1. I wanted to save it as a preset for later use. I always get this error on the screen 😞     After Effects error: File couldn´t be opened for writing: /Applications/Adobe After Effects 2020/Presets/Text/Animate In/Drwstr Type Fade In.ffx". ( 3::0 ) Have anyone found a solution for this error? Please let me know if you have something that could help.

I am not very good with technology terms so i apologise on how little detail i can provide however i have recently used After Effects 2020 v17.0 on my computer and it has been running perfectly fine until around 2 days ago. An error came up saying that the audio conforming had failed perhaps due to disk space. After this, around a minute or two later, the application closed completely with no crash notice. After trying to restart the application it would not open and was stuck on 'Initizialising MediaCore' before then crashing again, also with no crash notice. I have not since been able to reopen the application except for one time where it abruptly crashed again before i had the chance to do anything. Ive looked online and tried everything i could see including renaming files, resetting my preferences, removing plug-ins etc yet nothing seems to have worked. Totally new to after effects.  Trying to track an animated file in MP4 format using tracker.  I've got the tracking portion figured out, but I never get the "apply" button to activate - it stays greyed out.  Also under "motion target" I can't select either button.Would appreciate any help very much - I have a project I'm doing for my son's soccer team and I have to present it next week!I do note that if I select stabilize it then allows both fields to be active and apply be clicked, but I don't want to stabilize, I want to create a motion tracker so I can insert a face into the moving area. So I was working on a template, and when I was trying to export it to a Premier pro file and edit the text and everything else, it gave me the text of After Effect Can't Continue: Premier Pro Import Plugin generated an unexpected exception and I cant work on the project and can export it to the Premier pro file I just imported the AE file and started clicked export and clicked Premier pro file and yeahcan anyone help me solve this? 

SO when i use motion tile. The more i put it up the more blurry my clips get. Its so confusing as no one elses does this

is there way or script add q or hit ponts marker to sound effects in after effects autonatically

Hey smart people, I'm trying to convert some .rw2 raw image sequences in After Effects to ProRes 4444 .mov video files to be keyed, edited, and graded in Davinci Resolve while preserving as much information and color as possible (as Davinci doesn't read .rw2 which is such a shame). It should be a rather simple workflow, and I had done it countless times before, until recently, the rendered out .mov color totally doesn't match the original raw image, and doesn't even match the preview in After Effects! I'm not sure if it's me somehow changed the settings somewhere accidentally. Good afternoon Everything was fine, but after the latest update to After Effects, errors like the inability to convert Unicode characters began to constantly pop up when starting up. Yes, everything worked fine. It also doesn’t work in the “do not show compatibility errors at startup” settings, windows still pop up saying it is impossible to convert Unicode characters... Hello! I have a problem with RAM preview in Ae.At some point, the preview stops working and only manual scrolling works. I tried everything that is usually advised in this case:1) clearing the cache does not help2) clearing memory does not help3) restarting the project does not help4) "eye" on the preview panel is active5) enabling / disabling multi-core rendering does not help6) enabling / disabling the cache does not help7) changing the resolution of the preview does not help (which is full, half, third, quarter, etc.) Only a complete restart of Ae helps from this, which greatly complicates my work. I have 64 GB of memory, so I can't suspect a lack of memory in any way. For Ae, 58 GB is allocated. The cache is located on a fast HBME SSD (not a system disk), there is also enough space.Ihave the latest versions of Adobe, Windows and drivers. Since updating to AE2023 version, I have been experiencing a bug that prompts an "Unknown Exception" error. One of the AI links in the project triggers this bug, making it impossible to preview. The only workaround is either disabling the AI layer or closing and reopening the project. It seems that there might be a bug with the link itself. Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

Trying to use aerender.exe through the command line to automate rendering multiple compositions used within one another. When I make a change to a comp though it isn't rendering that change, it is rendering what was rendered before (as if it's rendering cached files as opposed to it's current version).

Hi, My After Effects 2023 keeps crashing when using Camera Lens Blur effects or rendering 3D layers with simple camera movement. I already tried resetting my Windows and also re-installing After Effects multiple times. I'm not using or have any 3rd party plugins installed. My current configuration is the following:i7 10700F64GB DDR4 RAM CorsairGTX 1050Ti Thank you! 

When ram previewing in ACES, it is really slow. If I change the display mode to none, it is back to normal speed, but as soon as I put the ACES/srgb display mode, it il really slow. 

 Super frustrating. This has been happening the last 2 days. I updated my drivers, restarted my computer. Black screen or glitch screen on layer panel when doing anything. Motion track, clone tool, paint tool.AMD ryzen threadripper pro 5975WX256GB RAMSSDs2x 4090 NVIDIA GPUs  

Hi there! First time posting something here. I've seemingly looked everywhere and can't find someone who has this same problem. I'm on Windows, AE 2023. Whenever I go to import a video or photo (this case, a .png), it will not show up. It will only outline the borders of it? This is a direct screenshot of what I see when I try to import something. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!  Thank you! 

Posting the bug here, this thing is still around since 2015, I hope this time can get solved once and for all!AE 23.4.0 - Windows 11The first camera is correctly solved, subsequent tries to solve additional cameras will get stuck on "initializing..." (different comps, one tracker per comp).You can temporarily solve the issue by rebooting After Effects.

Hello.  Am working in AE 23.3.0 and as of today, am finding my working Colour Space in the Comp Window is not matching Visually what it should be, what it looked like yesterday, and what the renders look like.  A restart of computer did not fix.Please help... its very hard to work with such a disconnect.  Picture of settings attached.  And pictures of visual problem attached.

I created a 360 degrees image with Blockade Labs and I've edited it on AE through the VR Comp Editor. Then I exported it as monoscope and uploaded on Youtube. Unfortunately when I play the 360° video on Youtube a vertical line, which is the image stitching (I suppose), appears in the middle of the frame. It is strange because there isn't any line during the editign process and I can rotate 360° image whithout seeing the stiching.

How do I exactly animate a slow-motion hair floating (blown by the wind) or clothes moving (blown by the wind) using Adobe tools (photoshop/aftereffects/lightroom/etc...) I just wanted to create an animation that is almost as the same as this type of animation :Tokyo Machine - OKAY [Monstercat Release] - YouTube  (It's a music video with animation-the type that i wanted to create myself)Mainly, the animation would be a repetitive and no long than 10 seconds length.Thanks.

So, I'm sure this topic is out there but I'm just not finding it. I have a round 2D image (a PNG file) that I'm making rotate with some background animations.  Righit now, the image rotates  but has no depth.  I found a tutorial on YouTube but it's basically duplicating layers and after about 15 layers, it creates a square that rotates instead of just the round image. Is there an easier way to just add some depth to this PNG so it doesn't look so flat?

I've been trying to create an animation for social media in After Effects. When I try and implement a preset text animation via Bridge, I get the attached error message. I asked an After Effects expert for advice and he thought it was a bug and it should be reported to Adobe, which is what I'm doing! Any suggestions gratefully received. (My system spec: iMac Apple M3 (bought this year),  Sonoma 14.4.1,  Bridge 14.1.1,  After Effects 24.5)
