After Effects

Hi everyone, Does anyone knows if there is a way to offset layers and keyframe with the same value?I explain : sometimes, when you need to add more time at a certain point of a composition you need to push further some layer blocks AND also only push some keyframes on a layer (most of the time this layer is my camera for example).As you cannot select and push layers and keyframes selected at the same time here is why i ask. I can do it manually with two selection steps but it can lead to mistakes in my count of keyframes to add. And also as it is a matter of timing, i need to try and see with more ease. I've send a visual example if it's not clear.  Thanks 

Hi, I'm trying to figure out one issue and unsuccessfully, so I'm turning my question to you. I have layers for eyes, for this problem mainly Pupils - Iris - White as picturesPupils are in Iris and Iris in White. However the Iris slightly overlaps the White and if I put Pupils into the overlaping area, they are visible, which is not wanted factor as next picture I'v tried to find a solution online, but non of them worked for me. It¨s like I need mainly the Pupils to be in the Iris (which is working) and secondary in the White (which I dont know how to do) Thanks for your time

this funny error message pops up when I double-click on a texte layer to select directly a single word.Apparently the text tool doesn't like to be too fast at clicking. I just click OK and i can go on.If i just click once to "enter" on the texte layer to select text, nothing happen and i can continue to double or triple-click to select texts. PS. My app is in french language. The message is not translated.AE 25.5.0 — Mac Studio M1 Max — 32Go RAM — 130Go free disk space — Macos Tahoe 26.0.1 (25A362) 

Hey guys,Still somewhat new to after effects - and when I download templates off the internet I get an error message saying I'm missing the "Fill" plug-in. I've done some research and one place I looked said it is a default plug-in and I'm also finding it come up on Google as RE: Fill which is like $100. Do I need to pay for the plug-in or is it a default and not showing up for me for some reason? If so, are there any fixes to this?Thanks in advance for any answers and helping me past this confusion.

I have the problem that when i add Twixtor on some clips, they glitch at some points and turn green or black for a short time. My theory is that it is only occuring on Clips with much motion and Ive heard that I just have to put the Motion Sensitivity lower but its not helping. Ive also checked that the input fps are adjusted to the input clip. Also there is no difference between putting it on an adjustment layer or the pre composed clip itself.Any ideas??

Hi there,I have new macbook pro 15" 2019 with Mojave 10.14.6while i'm trying to open my after effects there is warning:when i'm clicking ok:i tried to uninstall and install again all of adobe files,i tried to use the cleaner, i cleaned the preferences and chache files and tried to change the permission for almost all Adobe folders to read and write. i'm stuck and it's super frustraiting. please help!

Hello Adobe Support Team,I am experiencing an issue in After Effects 25.6 when working with 3D layers and multiple screen views (Active Camera + Custom View). Have seperated all my files in illustrator but when I import into after effects, only some of the layers are imported from the artwork. There is no error message they just will not be added for some reason?

Can you stop installing crapware on my systems. I don't want Cinema 4D on my system.    My hard drive space is for me not Adobe!!!!

Hello, I have a bug on: 1. After Effects V 25.3.2 (with Neat Video plug-in)2. on Mac Studio 2022 (M1 and Sequoia 15.5) and MacBook 2019 (Sequoia 15.6).3. DNG Sony FS7 camera RAWs, which I open in AE in: All Files/Camera Raw//Camera Raw Sequence.4. The expected result is colorimetric conformity between Camera Raw and After Effects (a workflow I've been using for 8 years without any issues until now, but stopped using for at least several months). The actual result is a completely different colorimetry in After Effects (see visual 2) compared to the desired colorimetry set in Camera Raw (see visual 1). Hi. I’ve encountered an annoying parenting bug in my project. I created a simple position animation on the parent layer, and when I try to adjust the keyframes on the timeline, the child layers behave as if I never changed the keyframes. Even when I try to unparent them, they still move as if they’re still linked to the parent layer.

AE, PP and Media Encoder are often eating all of my 128gb of RAM. I'm not doing anything special to make this happen, just using them as I have for 15 years. Just opening Media Encoder and it sitting idle is currently consuming 25gb of RAM. I will put this down to generally appalling performance I'm getting on this release across all of the video apps. I have never, ever seen any software perform so sluggishly. Black frames, glitches, random upside down frames. It's absurd. What is going on at Adobe? 

For whatever reason, whenever I launch After Effects now, the app freezes when scanning folders and immediately crashes. No error message shows up.I tried basically everything.Starting in safe mode, disabling third party plug-ins (didn't have any to begin with), resetting preferences.Uninstalling, re-installing, manually deleting all files relating to After Effects and then installing it again.It always crashes at the splash screen when it's scanning folders. The folder it crashes at changed every time.I went into Windows settings and gave high-performance to After Effects but that didn't work either.It was literally working fine less than 4 days ago and I finished a project on it. Now it does this and I'm truly stumped on how to fix it.

I've been up all night trying to render a 3:30 animation. Had to render in 15/20sec increments and then stitch together in Premiere Pro because it kept causing the "force quit" dialogue to pop—which has never happened before, usually you have to initiate a "force quit"—saying there is no more memory left, shown to be using 663.35GB, which is more than I have.  This is the first project I've done since updating to Tahoe. Mac specs: M2 Max, 96GB RAM. Using AE latest version 25.5, even uninstalled and installed the last 25.4 to see it that would fix it.  Also, while animating, the preview was so slow I couldn't get the timing down. I don't do a ton of animation projects but have been using AE since 2015 and have never had an issue while working, sometimes it would slow a bit while rendering, but this is ridiculously slow. So slow I was just scrubbing to see if it was about right. Even using the lowest quality preview. Then rendering a 3:30 project was going to take 3.5

In previous versions of After Effects, when using the Rotate Tool (W), holding Shift would constrain rotation in fixed increments (by default, 45°). In the latest versions, this “angle snap” behavior seems to have been removed, and holding Shift no longer locks rotation to specific angles.This feature was extremely useful for precise alignment and fast workflow. Could you confirm if this change was intentional? If so, is there any way to re-enable it, or could it be added back in future updates? Also, is there any keyboard shortcut or alternative method that replicates the old behavior?
