Hi,I have a challenge for all of you. I was watching this video (https://youtu.be/8jt5U9AFINY?t=4576), which is a reaper tutorial featuring an established podcast producer. In it, he briefly shows off how he creates a feedback loop that he uses as part of his sound design for his show.I use audition and I tried to see if I could recreate it, and long story short, I cannot. I tried sending my track to a bus with reverb and thats about as far as i got. As far as i can tell, Audition wont let you send tracks back into each other like he does in the reaper video. Also I couldnt even figure out how to control the vocals so that they only go into the loop at the end. I tried every envelope, no good. SO! I would really appreciate it if anyone had any suggestions on how to create this kind of feedback. I've really hit a wall here. Thank you!!!!
Hello, Just installed my original copy of Audition 3.0 to a new laptop and it wont activate on line and the telephone numbers dont work. Can anyone let me know what i should do? Does my copy of Audition no longer work? This is probably something obvious but im at a loss. Any help will be gratefully received. Cheers, Rich.
I have been facing this bubbly sound while recording and play back. Appreciate if any one can help me for same.
I am recording an audiobook, and following the advice to "save, save, save," I am backing up my projects in three places, including a removable hard disk, Creative Cloud, and iCloud. The program lets me browse for the save location, confirms the choice, and then -- before saving -- asks "One or more media files used by this Multitrack Session are located outside of the Session folder. Would you like to copy these files to the Session folder?" Being over-cautious, I have been saying yes.... and I am beginning to suspect that is a mistake, over overkill. The save is taking longer and longer, and the program gets stuck on 99%, so I have to force quit. I notice each time the Files folder is getting bigger and bigger, with a lot of .wav files showing up as multiple copies of themselves in each sessions "imported files" folder (e.g. "characterC-sample Copy(8) Copy Copy Copy Copy Copy Copy.wav").Can I just say "no" when it asks "One or more media files used by this Mult
I'm in the swamp of sadness here. I'm about 5 episodes deep into producing my new podcast; learning Adobe Audition as I go. Unfortunately, I have run out of space on my laptop. I think what I may have done is related to "One or more media files used by this Multitrack Session are located outside of the Session folder"...I kept saying yes. Is there any way to clean up this mess and what are best practices moving forward? Thanks!
Hello! I'm just switching over from Wavepad to Adobe Audition for voiceover. I am pretty lost with a lot of this software in general. I need to change the pitch of my voice in multiple parts since what I'm recording has multiple characters. Is there a way to bulk select parts of the recording and change the pitch only for those parts? Example: I only want Character A to speak in a deeper voice. Can I select all Character A's lines and lower the pitch for ALL of her lines at one time? Or can you only make one selection of a part to lower at a time? I know you can apply it to the whole recording, but I don't want Character B to be lowered. Also, I haven't figured out how to record anything using Multitrack. I can open up past audio files in there and they play, but the quality lowers. I have pressed the "R" button and red record button, but nothing happens. Any tips would be helpful! Thank you!
So I just downloaded audition and was wanting to try it out finally because I've used Audacity for a long time. I'm more than capable with computers but i still dont know whats wrong. I have gone through multiple forums and videos for about an hour and nothing is working. -I have the audio preferences in Audition set to my microphone I want (an audio interface that an xlr mic is plugged into) that audio source is in fact set to my main audio source as well in windows sound control panel-I have my headset im using also set in Audition and windows control panel to be used-both i have set to 98000Hz which is the same in windows control panel and Audition-In my project I have the track set to be input my mic that is above and my headset it the out.- the tab on the side does not peak or move and i can not click on the i above it to hear anything.- when i switch both to the mic in my headset instead my xlr, again nothing works so it seems no matter what mic i use nothing comes out

Hi...brand new to the online Audition experience - have been using the program for yearsandyearsandyears. I'm having two major issues - maybe related, maybe not. BTW, this is a brand new computer, too, which is why I opted to move to the online version of Audition. I have the current driver for the M-Track installed and the computer tests for mic and speakers works.1. Won't record. Cursor doesn't move - error message says "Device sample rates do not match. Please check the audio hardware preferences." I've poked around the forum and in Audition and am not sure where to look for "audio hardware setup" as I'm not finding those words anywere. In the waveform view I've gone to Edit >Preferences>Audio Hardware. Am I looking in the wrong place? I can find the M-Track there and have selected it - I see nowhere to look for driver selection or the "release Asio driver in the background" checkbox. 2. The program is exceptionally unstable. So far, in the space of half an hour, I've had
Using Audition to send audio tracks to Character Animator. Trying to set up easy UI or embed audition for recording on my website. Recording will be saved through my website.
Hello--All of a sudden five days ago, I began having terrible glitches and dropouts with my audio. I am using Windows 10 and and Audient ID 14 interface. This mornng (4/22) everything was working fine. But tonight when I was recording, I am hearing bad glitches again. I have called support, they have adjusted my settings in both my audio hardware and audio recording files. Both are at 44.1/16, as are my playback settings. I can't understand why this suddenly happened? Any help would be more than appreciated.
Welcome everyone to this forum. How to synchronize a sound file - which I created in Adobe Audition - with a video file - so that there is full synchronization - the specific thing is that the original soundtrack has pauses. However, in a sound file created from text - a speech synthesizer - by creating a sound file - it does not create gaps - as it does in the original soundtrack. With kind regards Luke
The biggest thing with software is being able to navigate around it well so I just wanna tell you how to make a few basic changes that will make a world of difference. The scrollbar on top where you zoom is set so it's way too small to be used when you're zoomed in, even to a moderate degree. You gotta set the minimim size a little bigger so you can still reliably grab where you want to when you're zoomed in. There is an issue the the horizontal scrolling and vertical when the curser is in the main window (not the top bar). In most programs, even your own like photoshop, this is smooth. but in Audition, even slight movement vertically will make it freeze up and not go horizontal. And since human fingers aren't perfect, it makes horizontal scrolling completely unfunctional from a trackpad or mac mouse. Make the track titles automatically stay within view when you're zoomed in instead of staying all the way to the left. When working with multiple tracks it's easy to get lo
Hi everybody! Such a question - is it possible to load any vst synt into the audition? Thanks
Cordialement.
Hey all, I am working on a documentary feature. Budget is pretty low, so I am going to do the initial sound design/pre-mix myself to get a chunk of the groundwork done, then do an AAF export and pass it on to a pro for the final mix/master. I know enough to keep all my tracks serperated by type (dialogue, music, ambient, sfx, etc) but I was curious if there is an industry-standard order to how they should be laid out so that my sound pro can hit the ground running once he gets the project. For instance, do you usually put Dialoge 1st, then follow with SFX, then Music at the bottom? Or is there no set standard, and the tracks are ordered differnently from project to project? Thanks in advance for any help.
Hello. I am an audio semiconductor developer who uses adobe audition in Korea.I am using version 13.0.2.35 of Adobe Audition.I am trying to remove Idle noise by using DeNoise to tune the sound source, but I need to know exactly how the sound is removed.(Effects -> Noise Reduction / Restoration -> DeNoise)For example, I would like to know the principle such as removing the input gain according to the Amount value. And if DeNoise remove the noise component, I am curious how to separate the noise from the original signal. The homepage only mentions how to use DeNoise, and I have not been able to confirm how it works. Thanks,Gyuhwa
I have mastered many albums in Audition. One thing I always do is check average loudness by using the Window/Amplitude Statistics and look at Average RMS Amplitude. I try to get all my songs in the same range of around -14 dB. That has served me well. But now 'm hearing and reading that it's all about LUFS now and NOT about RMS. I understand what LUFS stands for wand that it means in theory. But I still sometimes see people using RMS and LUFS almost interchangably. Also, I notice that in Audition's Amplitude Statistics, there is no LUFS to be seen. I'm happy to keep using the Audition RMS stats, but with the emphasis lately on streaming services using target LUFS levels, how do I find out what the LUFS of a song is using Audition? Please help me und
Hi need help please got the adobe audition can not use plugins from wave adobe craches????any help will do thanks.
OK So I need to set up a template in Audition, but am cannot seem to get it right... here goes We are using a Beehringer X32 digital mixer into Audition, using the 32in/out setup. I have 17 total tracks I want to record, so I set up a multitrack session with all of the channels labeld and routed from the X32 into the inputs of Audition. The problem is that when I go back into the session after disconnnecting from the mixer all of the inputs say "None" and no loger correspond ot the ins/out from the mixer. Is there a way to save a session tha would automatically include the ins and outs as set up, independent of whether or not the mixer is actually coonnected? Namely, so that if i record the session using the template, save it as a file/folder session and the re-open the template, the routing is still there nect time, without having to re-set the inputs?
I can no longer play files in multitrack. I don't know why.I'm using Windows 10, Adobe Audition 3.0, ASIO4ALL v2 driver and it has worked in the past.Any ideas? This is the screen I see when I press play.
Just decided to try Adobe audition. It starts fine but when i open an mp3 file the screen where the waveform appears and the playback controls become fuzzy - as if they are not being completely drawn on the screen. It clears up after the file loads but then 'noisy' again when i manipulate the file. Win10 on a 4930 6 core cpu32 gig ramnvidia titan x Here is an example of the editor panel all messed uphttps://i.imgur.com/WpJUnGD.png And here is another example after I highlight a cliphttps://i.imgur.com/5HwaL70.png The editor becomes 'normal' if I resize the window and stays normal as long as i do not click anywhere in the panel. but the minute i click anywhere in the panel i get this nastiness.
Im having trouble getting our 2 mics and a zoom call that runs through our rodecaster to record on different channels. all 3 channels record together so i cant edit volume on a channal individually. please help.
Hello, so I run a podcast and for some time, my playback has had this weird static that would come up every so often when I'm speaking into the mic. I can post a link to two samples, one with me speaking into it with the static, and one of room tone at the time I record. When I record no fans are running, except for my fridge, I live in a dorm so there's the occasional noise but not in relation to the static. I also put my audio settings here too to look at, any advice to fix this would be great:
I'm looking to create a keyboard shortcut to reduce a selection of audio to -96db. I keep trying to create a favorite, then assign the favorite to a hotkey, but it doesn't work. I've been seeing people linking to How to reduce gain in a selected area with a hotkey? but it links to nothing in particular. Please help! As I'm writing this, I managed to figure out a workaround of applying a hard limiter to -96db and it worked - is there a better way?
