Audition

I am using the Yamaha Mg10xu and have microphones connected to inputs 1 and 4. While Adobe Auditions recognizes that I have two inputs, it shows that the mics are connected to inputs 1 and 2 instead. In addition, on multitrack, when I set one channel to input 1 and another to input 2 (even if I reconnect the mic to input 2 as recognized), the voice from the mic on input 1 is the only voice recognized, and is recorded on both channels 1 and 2.  Please let me know if anybody is familiar with this issue and knows how to troubleshoot. Thank you!

Hello, may i know what will happen after my Adobe Audition trial ends? Would Adobe stop the trial and offer the buy plan after or right away charge me ?Thank You

This is a relatively small annoyance, but does anyone know if there's a way to remove the startup warning in Audition that says "real-time playback is disabled" for high sampling rate audio? Any file I could delete or anything?... Windows 10 CC Audition.I work with ultrasonic audio so literally everything I open in Audition has a very high sampling rate... and I'm totally aware that I won't be able to play it in real-time! Don't need a reminder every single time I open a file 🙂 Thanks!AT 

I know Audition isnt really a vector file program but I need to export a sound  wave out as a vector file if possible.Is there any way to do it?Or is it a case of screen shot and trace

I have Adobe Audition 1.  Yes, it's ancient but an excellent recording program.  Something has happened recently where I can't do playback when in the "Edit waveform view".  Any ideas?   [Moved to a thread of its own - Mod]

When I open Appended files in Audobe Audition the clips are sometimes not in order.    Also when creating the unique copy of the audio, it sometimes misses clips despite all be selected.     If anone knows why this is happening and how i can stop it I would be really greatful 

Hello, I am fairly new to all this and I want to connect my Mixer so I can record all imputs (up to 6) in different tracks. For example, when recording a podcast, I can't seem to have the host and the guest in different tracks. When going to Audio Hardware, I can't see anything saying my Mixer is there. It records, but all on the same track even though I am connected n the mixer in different tracks. I searched and found nothing on this.  I rely on you guys! Thank you.

Hey Guys,im about to make some songs (I didnt made them xD) better quality in Adobe Auditon (some filter etc...).To obtain the best possible quality, I want to export them as 24-bit PCM flac.But everytime I export them, it sounds very weird. I cannot seem to get the levels to show up that I have a mic input. I am on a mac book pro and I have tried using the computer mic an my external device both iof which do show up in the audio hardware. I have tried frecording in wave form and muti track. I cannot see to get a signal

I've just updated Avid Media Composer to its new 2020.4 version for Mac Catalina. I've been recording foley sound effects using Adobe Audition and exorting the files as a WAV PMC 32 bit. However, the new Media Composer update no longer allows imports that are WAV PMC 32. I've tried every other file format to export my files as, but still no luck importing into Media Composer. Are there any solutions to export from Adobe Audition into Media Composer 2020.4? When I try to import into Avid Media, I get an error banner saying "Exception: This combination of word size and channel count is not supported for audio import. word_size:32, channel_count::2"

Used it earlier tonight, but now it freezes on initializing application components and will not open. 

I am new to the Audition and do some basic sound correction. My problem is when I am editing an audio, the sound output of my PC changes completely. For example, I am editing a project on Audition, and watching a Youtube tutorial. When Audition window is active even the sound of youtube video changes and kind a have little noise and bad quality. When I deactivate Audition window youtube video sounds at it should. Also my exported audio sounds different then it is in Audition. Do you know what is wrong with my setup?

Hi, I am in desperate need of help. I received a podcast recording to clean up, made with a headset mic (I know, terrible!). We usually never use those mics for recording, but in this particular case there was no other option. In addition to a few plosives (which I can deal with), there is a constant air "puff" in the background. Is there anything I can do to at least reduce this? I've attached a sound sample. I know - garbage in, garbage out. This is a really bad recording , but can anything be done? I'd be grateful for any suggestions. Thanks!

Hi there, I'm currently working on a few home recordings and wondered if someone could help. I've recorded my guitar track for an original song and would like to record my vocals on top. However, when I arm up to record on 'Multitrack view' and go ahead, my newly recorded vocal track affects the guitar track.In an ideal world, I'd like to be able to hear my original track whilst singing, so as I'm in time, but for that not to affect the original track simultaneously. Does anyone have any advice? I'd love to keep all the recordings authentic and then add any effects/reverb etc afterwards in post.Many thanks, Joe Buckingham (UK)

Hi I just started audio editing for fun as one of my friends just gave me a suite of devices to record and edit audio. I plugged my Steiberg UR44C into my DELL windows laptop and launched Audition. I set audio interfaces to be UR44C, MME, and built-in sound card as an output device. I can record an audio file no problem. And I thought to try multiple condenser microphones to see how that setting sounds. So that two different friends of mine can talk on different mics. I plugged two mics into UR44C, +48V on, and hit the red circle button to record. But nothing was recorded. Could anyone please help me solve this problem? I may have or have not changed configs I should have taken care of.

HelloUnable to increase the audio vocal in this very faint audio recording. It is a vocal lecture talk.I will include the audio. That only modication was a slight noise reduction. Im new to audition so im still learning alot. I come from protools but as a graphic designer i have the suite so i figured i could start using audition since im already paying for it.  I used to record only vocals so i have never had this problem or the need to figure it out. Now im recording instruments (guitars). I have audition cc , and imac, and a scarlett solo interface. I recently purchased a plug in for the guitars. My problem is that i cannot hear the plug in effects until after i record. I can hear my guitar dry as im recording but i cant hear the effects till after? This is probably and easy fix since im a newbie. If anyone could help id really appreciate it. An easy to understand explanation would be even better. TIA

I'm recorded audio into audition using a Scarlett Solo 3rd Gen and when recording, all audio sounds great.I tried to mixdown the entire session and only secondary audio I added in from another source (not my mic) can be heard. I tried downloading it as a .wav and .mp3 to test, checked different headphone jacks, and tried to listen to the mixdown on my phone and nothing plays except the secondary audio. I've never had this issue before and I have absolutely no idea how to fix this.

Windows 10 HomeV 1909OS version 18363.778 Audition Build13.0.5.36 When clicking File / Import / File Audition freezes at popup import selection screen, then crashes.Has happened on repeated attempts. Uninstalled and then reinstalled Audition, restarted computer with cold boot, same crash results. Any help much appreciated, thanks. 

I am at a loss. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Adobe audition and purchased a brand new Audio Interface (Zoom UAC-2) because I thought maybe my old Tascam just wasnt supported. My issue is thast when I open Audition to record a new track my microphone shows no signal level, and does not come through in audition for recording. I have downloaded Reaper, and have a free Cubase with my audio interface but I use Premier Pro to edit all of my videos, so I want this to work badly. I have looked up online to make sure settings are correct and it appears as I have done nothing wrong in the set-up process. When I open Reaper it reads my mic with no problems, so I think I am missing something here. 

I have a multitrack session with several clips. Now if I edit one of them and delete a part of it I only get the possibility to close the gap of that one track. Is it possible to do it with all tracks? So that they remain synchronised? Or is there another way to do it?
