How can I convert a sesx file to wmv?
HI. I need help. Big time. I've been working on a project for 30 hours. Adobe audition just crashed. I saved my file a couple hours ago. I'm fine with losing recent work...but the file that's opening, with the same name, is days old. WHAT DO I DO? I NEED HELP.
I am a beginner to Audition. I have a project with a very short fuse - I need to take a song and loop it several times as background music to a power point presentation. Is there a simple way to do this?
I have an hour long .wav file, segmented with markers. I export the audio using the markers and everything times out fine as .wavs. When I batch process convert them to .mp2s I lose the last 1-2 seconds of each file. I tried exporting the audio using the markers, but this time converting them to .mp2s in the process and again I lose the last 1-2 second from each file. Then I tried converting the hour long .wav to an .mp2 and I lose the last 5 seconds. Anyone have an explanation or fix for this?
Good morning, I would like to know if my laptop Acer Aspire 3 a315-21-92hj with turbo Core technology up to 3.6GHz amd Radeon r5 graphics 8gb ddr4 memory is compatible with the use of this software, I would like to record audio tracks with a focusrite scarlet 2i2, because I found a problem in reproducing any trace, there are small interruptions, frequent and random, they last half a second , it's like a lag, even if i try without the focusrite the problem is the same,.Thank for answer
I've been having this problem since CC Audition v. 11 was released. I have a blank master template that I use to start a session. It has all my standard tracks and FX sends already set up. When I go to adjust settings on the native compression plugins, Audition crashes. Every. Time. Dynamics Processing, Multi or Single band compression, etc. Try to open one, and crash.I finally solved it, but the bug persists. I had to temporarily load a different plugin from a different category into that slot. Say, an echo or reverb. Once I did that, I could remove it and replace it with the compression plugin I actually wanted. Worked like a charm. Just wanted to post in case anyone else was experiencing the same thing.
When I set an IN/OUT on my Waveform and do Insert into Multi-track Session, the track and time placement into the Multi-track are a mystery to me. It does not seem to pay any attention to where the position bar or track that was selected. How do I dictate where that clip goes?
When I go to the time box in the lower left corner and enter 2410 (for 24 minutes and 10 seconds), the position moves to 40 miinutes. What's going on here? What am I doing wrong. I'm in decimal mode now, but tried SMPTE and had the same type of random results.
I'm trying to import a psd (exported from ai. retain layer sizes, everything!) into after effects to animate individual layers, already exported as RGB, but I'm just getting a single, flat psd layer. Im going crazy!! Help!
I understand that this is not really a question that pertains to the actual Audition software itself but I don't know who else to ask so I'm posting on here in hopes of getting some advice from all the great audiophiles on here Here is the problem: I have an interview recording (lav mic) which sounds very computerized. Here's a sample of the original recording: Dropbox - test_original.wav I have tried EQ-ing it every way I know how but I feel like my ears have gone deaf from listening to that recording for hours while editing the footage and no matter what EQ preset or trick I try to use nothing seems to make this recording sound better. Is it too much bass? Is it too much on the high end? I can't even figure out what the problem is anymore. Does anyone have any ideas on how to make this sound less computerized? Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated!
I have Audition CS6 on my Creative Cloud service, but it doesn't have what I need. What I do need is Audition CC, but that's not available to me. What happened?
Where can I find a dictionary or a glossary of Adobe terminology used in the tutorials and in the User Guide? If there is no dictionary or glossary per se, then is there a source of individual definitions and explanations? So far, I have been spending much more time trying to figure out the directions and explanations then I have been actually used Audition productively! It's not even clear if the terms are being used consistently.ENGINEERS, please take note! In the days of CD's and printed manuals, there were such things as dictionary-style indexes! Very helpful and user-friendly! Please bring them back in some form.
Adobe Audition started working completely fine, until just a week ago until I kept on getting the 'Detected Dropped Samples' message. I makes my audio really choppy and its pretty annoying. Is there something I am doing wrong or is it just some kind of bug?
Hello!I'm trying to record a DJ mix in Audition CS6 from my Rane 62 mixer and I'm having no luck. I've gone through a ton of tutorials directing me to Audition>preferences>audio hardwear... and then making sure that the default input says Rane 62... Ive done all of that to no avail. When I "arm the track" for recording, the curser moves as if its recording, but no wave-lenth is formed. It doesn't pick it up.Please help!!Taharba
Hi everyone,I have a cassette tape and would like to import the audio from it into Audition. I'm using an iMac and I have a usb stereo input/output audio adapter (called iMic) that I planned to use to import the audio:https://www.amazon.com/Griffin-Technology-iMic-original-Adapter/dp/B003Y5D776 The problem is that I don't have a cassette player in order to import the audio. I just wondered if the brand/type of cassette player used will affect the quality of the audio and if yes, can anyone recommend a player that I could use?Would really appreciate any advice.
So I've been recording VO work using Adobe Audition with my M-Audio M-Track Plus and AT2020. Recently the levels on my recordings have all been stuck between -30 and -35db regardless of my gain settings on my M-Track Plus. I've double checked all my audio settings and the settings for my M-Track driver, but none of the settings seem to have been changed, so I'm not sure what could be causing this issue. Please help! Thanks!
I am still not grasping fully in a step by step process how to remove parts of one conversation like coughs, repeats, etc. without getting out of sync. I have read the forum question by NYCat and answered by ryclark about the ripple effect and watched the tutorials by Jason Levine on editing in his Audio 101 series and Dusty Porter's How to work with Multitrack Sessions in Adobe Audition. These have all been helpful in beginning my understanding but they are not detailed enough for me to have success in practice. Are there other tutorials and or fuller explanations of the process?
So I screwed up... was in a rush and didn't level out my audio input when filming the other day. Now I have an audio track that is distorted and blown out, but really only with the background music. Is there a way to reduce the background music and just leave the vocals?
Hi! There is a way to use Adobe Audition plug-ins in Pro Tools 10?I like the Noise Reduction and Tube-modeled Compressor from Adobe Audition.
When importing a progressive video to Audition CC, the video display is very good. But if the video is interlaced, the display quality is poor. And there seems to be no deinterlacing option in the menu. Is there any way to increase the interlaced video display quality in Audition CC? Thanks.
HiIve recently upgraded Adobe premier and Audition and now cannot export edited sound files back to Adobe Premier once edited in audition. Why?
Hey everyone, so here is my problem: I was recording an interview for my podcast, and I burp at one point during the interview--yeah...its embarrassing and I'd like for it to be removed. I record my interviews through Zencastr.com. Zencastr provides me with three audio tracks when I'm done recording:1. The audio from my end2. The audio from the guest3. The 2 tracks combined into oneThe burp shows up on all three including the audio of only my guest since he did not have headphones plugged in while doing the interview, so my audio bled through over to his end.So, my question is: is there a way for me to isolate the burp on the audio of just me, and use that to reduce/remove it on the audio track that includes both of us. This is not something that I can easily delete from the audio track of both of us since it happens while my guest is in the middle of talking. Thanks for any help anyone can offer.
