Hey guys, All of a sudden I can't get any audio input in Audition. Both my build-in mic and Zoom H6 aren't working. It used to work fine and it's set up normal as well with the Audio Hardware settings. Everything else outside of Audition gets sound input and I see the meter go up and down in the sound preferences on my mac... I seem to have this problem since I've upgraded to OS Mojave.... Does anyone know what's going on?Please help me out!
The reason that the singer 's voice is beautiful is not only because of Mike. also, there are some sound effects on there I guess, you can check it 0:28 of echo effect.Of course, that video would not using audition. But what audition effect can match the sound like that video?please help me
Hi,I'm working on a project for a few days now and yesterday Audition started to behave strange. It started with the problem that I couldn't open the graphic eq on a Bus I created. The EQ Window opened and then the programm crashed. After restarting the application, the error was gone. Now, one day later, I'm not able to open any window at all. No matter what I'm trying to open (adding new vst effect to a track, open an existent vst effect window, open an already editet graphic eq) that causes a new window to open, the application crashes. I Already reinstalled Audition including the latest updates but that changed a thing.I copied the Audition Log File:Log file created: 19.06.2018 15:27:21---------------------------------------Ticks = 78 <14296> <AuLog.Startup> <5> Loading localized Au dictionary...Ticks = 390 <14296> <AuLog.Startup> <5> Loading localized Au dictionary completed.Ticks = 922
I've reported this BUG: Loudness Radar reset causes crash – Adobe video & audio apps but maybe someone can check they get the same issue on their system?Start new multitrack session Add Special | Loudness Radar to master bus Hit the 'reset' button (top right) on LR panel - CRASH(it's the circle with an arrow above the Peak indicator)
I am new to Adobe Audition and am following along a course to learn more about the software. However the course (which was written for Adobe Audition CS6, not Adobe Audition CC 2019 which is the version I am running, under Windows 10) indicates that I can change the sample rate for my recording preferences. My Default Input is set to a Rode Podcaster mic and my only option is MME (no ASIO). I've seen some (unanswered) questions about not being able to set sample rate for ASIO but not for MME. Instead of the dropdown I expect to see for Sample Rate, I just get a hard-coded value of 48000 Hz. Below that is a button "Settings" which just takes me to the normal WIndows sound devices dialogueI would have expected to be able to change the sample rate. Is this hard-coded value a limitation of the driver, a defect in the software, or a setting somewhere that I've missed?
Hi everyone,I am creating an audio in Audition with some beating monaural frequencies. On my HP Pavillion Laptop I hear a cracking sound in my headphones when playing the sound, but it is fine when playing it on my android phone (same headphones).I'd be grateful if some of you could test the sound and tell me if they too hear the cracking sound here and there, maybe it's just my pc sound card, or the headphones jack... but the issue appears only with this particular beating frequencies so it's probably hardware related. You may download/test the sound here: https://1drv.ms/u/s!AsTklv288baFpUOVRFGpI0LevOmx Any feedback is appreciated!=====Realtek High Definition Audio (Driver version 6.0.1.7548)Windows audio enhancements (spatial audio): disabledBeats Audio enhancements: disabled
A small very helpful improvement: press and HOLD the bracket keys to resize the brush in a continuous, stepless fashion (same behavior as Photoshop). Currently, you must press the bracket keys once for each size change--this is a small effort but gets very tedious over a day of editing.
Hello,I am new to Audition and I was wondering if it possible to manipulate a tone pitch.Eg. I have created a 200 Hz tone and I want it to gradually ramp up to 300 Hz on a 15 minutes time span. Possible? To say the truth what I want to accomplish is more complex, because I am working with monaural beats.Eg. I create a 200 Hz tone and a 203 Hz tone, then I mix them together on a new track to obtain a 3 Hz beating frequency. What I want is to gradually ramp up this beating frequency to about 200 Hz on a 15 minutes time span.Thank you for any help!
Anyone know who to change the default setting of 48000 to 41000 when creating a new audio file for recording?(adobe Audition CC 2017)
Unable to record with Adobe Audition CS5.5. Upgraded to Mojave.
FRANCE/04320 ENTREVAUX/27October18I am aware this question isn't relevant in Audition's help, but in Creative's one. But, to date, I do not find anything in the Creative's direction. Then, thank you even for your attention. With a very old X-Fi Xtreme Music sound interface ; in Audition 3.0.1 ; in Hardware Setup ; Creative ASIO driver selected ; in Edit View Port panel ; in Default Input listshould I select anything according to the action ?For example to record, select [05M] Mix RL ;or [04M] Mix FRor [09S] Auxiliary 2Lor [22M] SPDIF IN Ror another one of twenty or so items ?The title " Edit View port " is disconcerting, since the item is selected, but then nothing seems edited. Hi:I am new to Adobe Audition. I am trying to record audio from YouTube and there is an echo in the audio that I am sure is coming from the mic. Is there a way to use the program without the microphone? Thanks.
I understand that the program generates large cache files while working to make history and changes accessible. But once a file is past that stage of work, may I safely delete these fast-growing cache files, so the system doesn't bog down? There are two I see:And then, as set in Preferences by Adobe Tech Support for me -- this "Shared Media Cache Database", which includes a "Clean" button that I am itching to hit:Thanks. Knock on wood, moving along with a modicum of efficiency.Rob
Usually I just play sounds from my computer and then I can record it directly into Audition. Sometimes when I run Audition andhit record I will see no soundwaves from the audible sounds I am hearing. Today it is doing this. How do I check the audio hardware to be able to record what I am hearing? (Sample rates, bit depth, stereo / speakers / recording in the sound panel)I am using Windows.[Here is the list of all Adobe forums... https://forums.adobe.com/welcome][Moved from generic Cloud/Setup forum to the specific Program forum... I have a setup for voiceover work. In between sessions I do not adjust my USB microphone or the project settings. In fact, I use the same project for an entire month. Some days the microphone records at a normal level, other times it's incredibly overblown. I cannot stress that nothing changes in my setup, yet the levels are drastically different from one day to another. Can anyone enlighten me as to why this issue is happening? The microphone is the AT2020USB+ and I'm using Windows 10. The PC is reset between recording sessions, and occasionally different programs may run in the background like Premiere Pro CC2018 or Chrome, but beyond that nothing changes. Please help! Completely lost on this one.
Recently I was Edith a full project with multiples footages and audio,I went to take a break and when I come back my audio was completely gone. I dont know how to get the audio back... please help!!!

Why, when I remove the sound from a video and then save it into a Facebook-friendly format, do I either have an error message saying "wrong format" or the default media player ONLY plays the muted track?Really frustrating and a colossal waste of my time trying to figure it out.
Dont know what to do. Opening session stalls at 83% and slowly, the time remaining INCREASES.12.0.0.241After restarting audition, it is nowhere, but it is here:now it wont force quit
New problem. I am editing an audiobook. I have good 32-bit FP stereo files, on which I just do some basic clean-up, replacing noises with silence, removing mouth clicks, etc. I have been saving manually every five minutes, and also have preferences set to auto-save every 10 minutes.Just now, as I was saving the chapter I was finishing up, got the beach ball, then the program popped way back to a very early point, and seems to have lost all the edits from that point on. Customer support did some tweaking last night, in the remote share-screen mode, and I see where he re-directed my back-ups. I'm keeping my files on a removable 2TB drive, and also uploading to Dropbox.Weary. Will try customer service again, and any help here, very welcome as always.Thanksr
Hello,I've been facing several errors after the update (in fact, they're happening with most of the programs, but audition is pretty bad)When I Try to save anything in MP3, I can't do int on 16bit, it always saves in 32 bit. I also can't choose MP3 options in Adobe Media Encoder, it always saves in 48kHz by default.Besides this, audition crashes on most third-party VST plugins. Also, duplicated tracks tend not to work many times.I hope you can fix these soon.RegardsLeonardo Ferreira
I am attempting to edit the audio of my video in Audition, but when I send from Premiere to Audition it only shows as 1 single master waveform in the "Waveform Editor" panel. It does not open or show up in the "Multitrack Editor" panel. Here is my process, maybe I am missing something:While in Premiere, I right-click the sequence in the project panel. Click "Edit in Adobe Audition" then "Sequence"In the "Edit in Adobe Audition" pop up my settings are as follows:I click "OK" It "Prepares Sequence Data" and then loads into Audition. Audition opens up and the "Waveform Editor" has 1 single track in it that has all the audio tracks "flattened" into one waveform track. Going to the "Multitrack Editor" panel, it is empty. And I am unable to edit my audio. All the tutorial videos I have followed show same steps but result in multiple tracks in the "Multitrack Editor" panel. I think I might be doing something wrong, or a setting is off. All my programs are up to date with the lates Adobe CC up
I am going to need to do this soon for a new computer. My copy is a stand-alone disc, and was not bought as part of a full CS6 (something I do not need or want). So, can I just deactivate, reinstall, and reactivate, and not be required to join into the subscription model?

And is there a tutorial or something that can help me out? I use Audition CC - but am not a user of it.. so I dont know that much.. but I have it install... to put it that way
