Hello. Few days ago I was at the concert and recorded video but later I found out that it sound terribly distorted (from 0:13 sec) It sounds like "dank memes". Is there any way to fix it? https://drive.google.com/file/d/16AF1K0a39Det94i7kIauQGD68yqqvpwy/view?usp=sharing
I need to knock down some mp3 kbps rates from 320 to 128 - can't figure out how to do it. "Convert Sample Type" doesn't apply here. Using a Windows 10 64-bit system with Adobe cs6.
I've been using Audacity and was interested in a tool that I can take an audio file from an iphone or Samsung phone in MP4a format, importing it into Audition, editing it, and exporting to MP3 format. Can Audition do this?Soph
Please help setting up a stereo up mixing VST plugin Penteo composer 5 in Audition. 2 channel stereo to 6 discrete channels. I saw overviews all over the internet but not specific setup instructions. Will it even work as a plugin in ?.ThanksRick
Can anyone advise me which feature on Match Volume would be best for me?I am compiling CDR's of chart hits old and new and have been told Adobe Audition CS^ (which I have) is highly recommended for this.ITU-R BS.1770-2 LoudnessLoudness - ? I opened a project, closed it out and opened it again later. When I re-opened the project two things happened: 1) some clips went offline and I couldn't link them, I had to re-export them and bring them back into Audition. 2) Now I have to toggle the Solo button to "on" to hear the tracks. So I have everything Solo'ed to hear it all playback. What's up with this Adobe Community?
I just started using Audition CC 2018 and noticed a large change from Audition CS6. In particular, when I use the heads-up display (HUD) to lower gain in a section, it will sometimes not show the result in real time. It's only after I've raised or lowered the gain and release the controller that the change is shown. Previously, I could watch the section fall or rise in real time; this lag is annoying and really makes the HUD control useless. It also doesn't happen all the time. Another quick issue that could be related is that I can't cleanly insert audio from another file with fidelity. Audition either leaves some of the old sound I wanted to replace or cuts off some of the new sound I want to insert.Any help would be very much appreciated!!!
AUDITION 3.0.1Nowhere was ever stated, in manuals, forums, and the like, the difference between AUTO HEAL (favorites) and SPOT HEALING BRUSH tool. Moreover, SPOT H.B. isn't available outside spectral window, AUTO H. is.Please correct approximate English.
Im a sound designer and my editor has been using audio effects in premiere an then once we go to adobe audition, some of the effects have errors opening up? Do you know why this could be?And my 2nd question is am I able to edit his audio effects (EQ, compression, reverb etc...) in Audition? There is a star icon indicating clip has effects but where is the tab to adjust his settings, or bypass?Thank you so much
This situation, with preliminary listening directly in the program (Adobe Audition cs 5.5) on some track, I expose the breeding by channels (in the left ear, to the right ear) and everything is perfectly audible. But as soon as I try to export everything to the track, no matter what format (mp3, wav) when listening to this file, I don’t hear any changes, channeling is not, the problem is with the pan effect, which is not in the track but on the recorded audio file (blue bar). Help who knows what the problem is.
I've opened up two different sessions in Audition. I'll copy a set of audio tracks from one session, and then paste those tracks into a different session. The files with their sound and waveform are there, but when i save it, the sound and waveform disappears. The original audio track will be perfectly fine in the main project folder, but I can't link the original audio track. I've tried deleting the media cache, but it still won't work. I'm working on a mac.
Greetings all, I'm a novice when it comes to using Audition and audio engineering in general. I just started working on some projects as a hobby, no prior experience. So please forgive my lack of knowledge and lingo However I have a question and I don't know it's possible. Is there an easy way to auto silence parts of a track based on audio levels? I did some recording with a partner, they sent me their audio file and listening their mic is picking up my audio, because it was coming through speakers not headphones. Obviously my feed back is a much lower level when heard vs when she is talking. I'm wondering if there's a way to filter out the backround audio on her track?I'm layering our tracks over each other in a multi-track session and our timing isn't exactly synced up which also may be an issue. Thanks in advance everyone!
Does anyone know how can we give reference of component in a metadata components? eg. i have datasource component and i want to give its sling:resourcetype to metadata component (like we work with normal components) but it's not working.
I am -- for the first time as a non-engineer -- recording, editing and mastering an audiobook. I have learned a lot and have pretty much mastered the process to bring in a wav file that conforms (exceeds, actually) the ACX/Audible requirements for RMS statistics. BUT....I am struggling with a chapter which seems to have come adrift from its source media. I have a fully edited and clean Multitrack version, but I cannot seem to sync it with the corresponding WAV file. I have assumed that each multitrack session (I have only one track, actually, plus room tone), would have a synced and complete corresponding assembly of source clips that I could then use for statistical analysis and final output to WAV. But this ornery chapter does not. It only brings up isolated clips, which end at the point where it runs into a mistake and we did the punch-and-roll.I tried doing a multi-track mixdown, and then exporting that as a WAV, but it won't let me; the op
So when I'm working in Audition and adding effects via the Rack, once I apply and save, I'm no longer able to change any of the effect again. The effects that were in the Rack are gone. Is there another way that the effects dialog windows can be re-opened?
Howdy WizardsEditing an audiobook for the first time. It's been a long road, still climbing the learning curve.I THINK I have produced good clean files, all RMS and Peak Levels are consistent -- but the client still has problems -- says that they are uneven and sound quality changes within chapters, and between chapters. I do see a few places where I may have goosed the audio a bit too much. One chapter was distorted in places, so I went back to my original session output, and re-edited it (removing mouth noises, applied adaptive noise reduction, a bit of eq to brighten it, then ran it through the same loudness processes (Total RMS, then Peak Level). I think the distortion was a result of my fiddling with eq, somehow set it too high in a few cases... but I have tried to keep it uniform. I THINK it is fine.... but client disagrees, and the client is always right. Right? Now, I am searching for a way to process all these files in a uniform w
Hello-I am EXTREMELY new to audition, so bear with me in my question. I am quite familiar with Adobe Premiere but have started a podcast that I want to edit in Audition. I had set up a multitrack clip (48000, stereo, 32 (float) that looked like this:Track "Amber" and "Ryan" are from a single stereo recording (recorded using a Zoom H4N) , however, I had set up Amber to be the right channel only, and Ryan to be the left. After I had finished the edit, I must have pressed something - though for the life of me I cannot figure out what, because my tracks suddenly looked like they were stereo channel. NOTE: there was no "undo" option or level to go back to in the history panel. I may have hit a keyboard stroke mistakenly, but I need to know what I did so as not to make that mistake again. The only way this newbie could figure out how to fix this, was to cut and paste and rebuild the segment. But if you can believe it, after rebuilding the mono tracks over the stereo one
Audition Family: Is the Visual representation of the "computer keyboard" depicting an ACTUAL graphic, or is the use of the keyboard just for the videos? Is it IS real, please tell me how to access it. Looks very intuitive and easy to customize the shortcuts but I cannot locate it. Many thanks!
Hi, can anybody help my scanning for plug-ins stays at 0% on my CS6 they are all waves plug-ins..... thanks in advance
Hello, I recently began using Audition CC 2017. While editing a project, the audio stopped playing back. I checked that the volume on my computer is fine because other programs can play sound. I also checked that the track I want to hear is unmuted. When I click play, I see movement indicating sound in the little vertical bar next to the track I want to hear, but there is no reaction from the horizontal 'level' bar at the bottom of the screen. I read several answers to this type of question and tried toggling Audio Hardware and Audio Channel Mapping, but everything seems fine and connected there. Also the problem started without my plugging/unplugging from speakers or headphones. I also checked that this problem happens for any track in my project. Please see a screenshot of my project below. Your help is much appreciated!
Hi!I want to paste one multitrack to another, but the second one was recorded with less volume, so when I put them together there is a very evident difference. How could increase the volume of the second one? Thank you very much!
I do narration for e-Learning. I record and save in a .wav file, then apply my effects, edit, and save as an mp3. Recently IT swapped out my computer. I assumed they'd just transfer my programs from the old machine to the new one, but they loaded a new copy of Audition on the new computer. Now I'm trying to recover my settings so new files sound like previous recordings. Is there a way to open an older recording and see what the settings of the various effects were that were applied to it?I know it's a long shot, but I figured I'd ask.Thanks.
Focusrite Scarlett Solo USB audio interface (1st gen). Plugged in Focusrite, downloaded ASIO drivers from their website and restarted computer. Started Audition CC 2018 and changed the audio hardware preferences to Device Class: ASIO and selected the Focusrite as the device. Device says Focusrite USB ASIO (not working).
I am currently compiling audio CDR's of chart music new and old. I have been using Nero to burn the discs and have been using the Nero "Normalise" function. A problem I have come up against is where a particular track has no drumming for example which makes it quieter then the other tracks which have drumming the volume of the song without drummer gets booster to the point of distortion. In Adobe Audition CS6 which I have there is a function called "Match Volume", would this be better for me?
