Hello,in the course of the last 3 years, I've downloaded the trial of Adobe Audition 3 times. In the end, I always give up going back to protools.I love Audition for its UI and concept but on my monitor (5k) the rendering of the waveform and the spectral display is very slow and it's not possible to work.I made some tests and I noticed that when the display is over 4,9k, Audition render is antialiased (the waveform and the spectral) and therefore it critically slow down.On my LG monitor (3440x1440) it works fine. On the iMac 5k or another LG monitor (3840x1600) it's impossible to work. It lags and takes so much time to render the screen.I'm going to work on a production which is complex and I would need to use Adobe suite to connect the different areas of work (video, audio etc) so Audition would be perfect. But it's not possible to use it at that speed. My question is: is there any tool/option available to disable that high-quality antialiasing that increases so much the rendering time
Will Adobe Auditions 1.5 run in a HP - Pavilion Power 15.6" Refurbished Laptop - Intel Core i7 - 12GB Memory - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 - 1TB Hard Drive?
Hello so I use rokit 6 monitors and Audio techinca m40x and when I listen to my audio I don't hear any clipping. However, despite hearing no clipping on either monitor system, the input is clipping. The recorder is a tascam DR-10L with my settings having auto, limiter, and dual record on for a separate -6db version. It says the input is clipping in audition but I think even without a limiter the output isn't clipping? I can't remember what the settings were on the daw audio track as this was a question I had a while back but never asked. But the input has almost always said that there's clipping with every new recording/project I work on. If I lower the volume or use a limiter in my daw, and I can't hear any clipping whatsoever, is it safe to say there isn't any "perceived" clipping that any non-audio savvy person would be able to hear? I do hear clipping sometimes if the subject yells or laughs really loud, and I mix in/replace the -6db version for those parts,
I'm running four mics through an Allen & Heath ZEDi10 mixer. Best I can tell, it is sending four signals, but audition only gives me the option of selecting input 1 or 2... 3 and 4 aren't there. See images below. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciate
Hello everyoneI want to extend a soundclip witch is 3.23 long and a MP3 format. But i can't activate the remix tool. Maybe it's because it's a MP3? I have the fullversion of Audition CC 2018. If you have an answer for that Problem, i'm really happy.LG FlavourF
I'm attempting to edit using Audition for the first time on this computer (I've used it before on other devices). But it won't play. It keeps telling me my hardware is not configured properly. But my speakers, headphones, etc. work perfectly with other applications (including Audacity). It's telling me my Realtek Audio isn't working. As I mentioned, the audio is working just fine with everything else. What could be the problem here?
Hello,I have recently been transferring a bunch of old Hi-8 cassettes to digital but the audio level recording is a mess so I always end up having a higher db than what I'm supposed to (I've learned that it has be between -12 and -15 db most of the time, more less). If the audio was already distorted as a result of the db being too high, will lowering the db fix it? And even if the distortion is fixed, will it ever be the same quality as audio that wasn't distorted in the first place? Thanks.
Hi to all computer nerds and specialists and moderatorsI know that there is someone out there that has the answer, or at least someone that can help with this problem:I had WIN7 before - during which I installed Adobe Audition 3.0. Upgraded the same computer (without reinstall) to WIN10 and Audition still worked OK. Had a mobo failure and had to do a fresh WIN10 install. Adobe Audition 3.0 installs fresh without problems during the install, but when trying to start Audition I get this error:The odd thing is that Adobe Audition 3.0 installs on another WIN10 PC fine and runs completely OK!What is wrong or missing on my desktop PC - or why does this work on the other (laptop) computer? Both have the same and latest WIN 10 Pro N 64-bit OS. I have (via windows options) installed the 3.5 framework on the PC with the problem - but it does not help. I have NO other virus or spyware protection other than Windows' own.So - I have proof that Adobe Audition 3.0 installs and works FINE on WIN

I get the dreaded "Audition has encountered a fatal error and needs to be shut down. Could not delete the file c:/Users\username\Creative Cloud Files\Audition\11.0\Backup\filename" error each and every time I try File/New Multitrack Session (or if I click on the Multitrack button next to Waveform). I'm on the latest version of Audition CC 11.1.1.3Running on an HPZ840 (Windows 10 Pro)OS Build 14393.2248
Hi there! First off I just want to say I am an Audition novice. I work 99% in Premiere and After Effects and only use Audition for Input Boosting and Noise Reduction. Unfortunately, I need to reduce noise from hundreds of clips that were shot in the same room. a few of the clips have enough lengths with no talking that I can reduce the noise quietly, so how can I apply that exact same noise reduction effect to all the clips at once into my premiere project? Thanks for the help!
I have recently learned how to round Trip to Audition and I love it..... But, I have 4 sequences to send and return. The first went just fine and Came back just fine. The second Sequence went just fine.... I apply my effects and do my thing. I hit "Multitrack... Export to PPro... It asks where i want it and how do I want it. It seems to work and sends me back to PPro and then nothing... No Where do you want it ...No How d you want it.... I cannot figure out what is happening. Please any help is Greatly needed and appreciated.Dan
Some time ago I was browsing through the various effects in the Audition CC 2018 Effects rack. I stumbled across a neat effect that could add a chime to a voice. I'd like to use it, but can't for the life of me remember where it was. I think it had the word fairy or fey in the effect name. Help, please!
Can't seem to find anybody else with this problem, hopefully someone here can help. When playing back a track in Audition, the frame rate of the video (as in, the actual visual feedback you get as the playhead or track scrolls) gets progressively worse. Audio plays back normally--no jittering, stuttering, nothing like that. But the playback head and the level meters start to drop frames. When I first open the program, the problem is either not present or (more likely) not noticeable. But it returns within a matter of minutes and gets progressively worse. Within about 10-30 minutes, it gets so bad I can't pick edit points or monitor the levels visually and have to relaunch the program.I'm using Audition 11.1.0.184 (currently up to date) on a MacBook Pro:High Sierra (10.13.4, also currently up to date)2.9 GHz Intel Core i716 GB 2133 MHz LPDDR3Intel HD Graphics 630 1536 MBThis doesn't happen with any other application, so I assume it's not my graphics card or anything like that. I have del
I recorded and in Audition and saved it on my external hard drive. Now I want to edit it but when I go to open it in Audition I get this message:I can play the file on my computer however it has not saved the last part of the session I recorded. Can anyone please help me to be able to open it so it does not 'error', so that I can edit the audio that is saved?
I've been trying to separate vocals and music from a song. The problem is that for this song, both the vocals and the music are contained in the side channels, making it very difficult to isolate either. Is there another method that I can use?
Several times when trying to go back to a session and pick up where I left off on saved work I've received an error screen and the program has had to shut itself down. Very frustrated with having to start work over from scratch each time the program fails to open a saved session file.Help please.
If you've been getting this message when you start an Audition session, it appears to be down to an issue with the CC app itself. That's being worked on, but you can resolve the issue quickly and easily by following the instructions that _durin_ posted. He said:"Hi everyone,We've investigated this and it appears a recent update to the Files Sync functionality in the Creative Cloud desktop application introduced this problem. It's not a Windows issue, but has to do with how Audition tests if it can write to a directory (by creating, then deleting, a temporary file) and how quickly Creative Cloud Sync locks files for backup. We're working with the CC team for a solution as quickly as possible. In the meantime, if you launch Audition without opening a session, and follow Roger's suggestion to change your Auto-Save Backup Location to anywhere but the Creative Cloud Files folder, or disable File Sync in the Creative Cloud Desktop application, you should avoid the problem until a
Hey guys, im really new to Audition and audio narration, but i have hit a problem and im really lost with this. I have two questions really,First, i have recored a chapter from a book, when i open the file it all looks normal, the wave pattern is there and the timer reads the correct length but there is no sound. Its not muted as i can open other files and listen to them no problem.Second, when I opened the file i was working on and the wave formed looked normal and as it should, but when i played it back it was playing a continuous loop of three words. I engalged the wave image to look at what it was playing but when i get to a certain point in the zoom it changes from the original wave pattern to a wave pattern of the three looped words, so now i have thirteen minuets of three words.Dose anyone have any thoughts on what has happened?Thank you in advance...
Hi to all, in the attempt of exporting a multitrack session the SW systematically crashes. In particular, it doesn't notify any error or warnings, it simply shuts down so that then I have to reopen the project. If anyone can help me I can provide the log files.
Hi All,I'm a pro musician in a touring cover band duo. I recently took on the role of producing all the audio track backings we use in most of our songs, and I'm using Adobe Audition CS6 to do it. So in my case, I have about 40 songs that my duo partner and I play.. I start with the full backing tracks downloaded in multitrack format from Karaoke Version - so each song has say 15 stereo tracks (drums, bass gt, keyboards, lead vocals etc...). While the recording quality and muso performances were I guess reasonable in most of the tracks, most of the tracks haven't been mixed together all that well. I want to run about 20 songs into each other, to end up with say, a one-hour non-stop track that we can play when we gig. What I want to know is:Bearing in mind that each multitracked song's tracks levels and gains aren't mixed all that well, what order of operations would you suggest I do things in to fix all the track levels etc of these 20 multitracks, so that each song sits perfectly again
So, I've had this since I updated to CC Adobe Audition over multiple versions. I use Audition for waveform editing daily. And 5 to 10 ten times, when trying to play or zoom (typically, as I think to describe), I get the beach ball stopping progress... for maybe 10 seconds, then whatever commands I trigger seem to queue up... and then activate. I would guess I am making somewhere in the range of 50-100 waveform edits daily... And then sometimes it just sticks.I upgraded my interface last year, but that didn't change anything. And I keep thinking a new version of Audition will fix it, but it remains with latest January 2017 update. Is there a fix for this? Anyone else having this problem?I am on OS 10.11.6 (and have upgraded thru a few versions of El Capitan). And I cannot recall if I had the problem with Mavericks in 2014 (when I started using Audition CC), but I don't think so. Perhaps I should mention I use Pro Tools, Ableton Live and ot
Laurent.
Okay, so I was working with an mp3 and I used the Center Channel Extractor to create an a cappella version of one of the verses. I saved the "session" and now when I click on the .sesx file Audition opens up but there is nothing there. No waveform, nothing. Where does my session go? Why can't I just open up a project (yes, I know they are called sessions) and continue where I left off? Is all my work on this track gone?
