Hi,I used some mogrt templates in my timeline. But when I try to render via media encoder, it cant render pictures. Its like I did not upload any pictures to that template. There is no warnings, just rendering the template without any images. This is premiere This is the same section on Media EncoderMy other settings are visible. I just dont have images. Some other mogrt files are working. Just two of them are not.
I recently upgraded to After Effects 25.0.0 (Build2) and Media encoder 25.0 (build 54) and I can no longer render anything through AME. I export it from AE, it appears in the queue, I press the Green forward button and it waits about 10 secs and simply says 'failed'The log says"Could not read from the source. Please check if it has moved or been deleted."Spoiler: It hasn't.I have made no changes to my workflow, the video renders as a MOV in Ae render queue fine (which is my workaround and I use 3rd party software to convert and compress)>I'm on an Apple Intel running Sonoma 14.5
I just updated Media Encoder and it is not accepting any .mov files. Some of these are After Effects files, and others are Avid Media Composer exports. I'm on a Mac running Sonoma 14.6.1. Everything worked fine before this. I need this solved sooner than later. Thanks!
Issue - Unchecking the settings option for "Increment output file name if file with same name exists." causes the render to fail.Adobe Media Encoder version number - Version 24.6.1 (Build 2)Operating system - Sonoma 14.6.1Steps to reproduce - Open settings > General and deselect "Increment output file name if file with same name exists." Render V1 of the video file to destination folder. (Optional) Make video edits. Export video with matching file name to same destination folder.Expected result - The file in the destination folder should be overwritten to prevent the buildup of multiple versions in destination folder.Actual result - The render itself fails to excecute, see attached error log. For reference, see the following thread for others that have had a similar issue: https://community.adobe.com/t5/adobe-media-encoder-discussions/overwrite-file-command-not-adhered-to/td-p/13090829
Hello, Mid project, Adobe upgraded Premiere Pro from 2024 to 2025. When I finished editing my video, I went to encode and found that the 5 minute video encoded to be just the first frame. The encoding process took about a second. I tried exporting within premier pro 2025 and the media encoder. The results were the same. I've restarted my computer multiple times. The results are the same. Any help to finish encoding my video would be appreciated. Thanks,Joe
After installing Encoder 2025 and Premier Pro 2025 I am experiencing a very annoying issue. My hard drive has about 50GB free, I create a queue in the encoder of 5+ videos(about 3GB each), and when the Encoder reaches 4 or more videos I get the message of out of memory (RAM) and my hard drive has about 100 MB free space. When I close the Encoder, the hard drive's memory returns to 50GB. I tried to encode it to the external drive instead of internal and the result was the same. With this bug, I cannot use Premier Pro/Encoder 2025 because I need to save 5+ videos daily. My Machine: Apple M1 Max, 32 GB RAM, OS: Sonoma 14.2.1The video setting is attached belowIn the 2024 versions, everything worked as expected.
I installed the new version of Premiere, and I can no longer export my render with Media Encoder (or even with the PR export). Nothing has changed, I’m still using the same export configuration in the same folder. I’ve attached several screenshots. I’ve been struggling since last night and have already tried at least 10 exports with no success.
Just update to 2025 premiere and encoeder, also update plugings (like premiere composer). When exporting using media encoder, all the esential graphics (graphics templates now) are missing in the final render, this include; Mr. horse premiere composer assets and .mogrt elements. When I export direct from premiere everyting works. Mac mini 2023Apple M2 Pro32gb RamOS Sonoma 14.6.1
I am currebtly on Premiere Pro 24.6.1 aand Media Encoder 24.6.1 When I send my project from Premiere Pro to Media Encoder, ME is started as expected showing my project in the input queue. However, once I click on the green button to start the rendering process nothing happens. Any ideas? Any help? P.S.: I was on 24.6.3 with both PP and ME. At least in this configuration MED actually began to render, however stopped in the middle of the process. I thought that going back to 24.6.1 may solve that problem.
Ever since I updated Premiere and Media Encoder, when I send my finished sequences to Media Encoder, for some reason the captions won't export with the video. They will only export through Premiere. I have my "Burn subtitles into video" option on and everything. Help.
now what is this. IT IS A 58 SECOND VIDEO, it has been encoding for 17hrs and still isnt done. i have never had this before. the longest i had was 2 hours. i am using a dynabook portege, it has 16 rams and this is only taking up some of it.(around 5k mb memory) I let it go overnight and the estimated time just keeps increasing
I'm having issues in Media Encoder exporting an image sequence. I've seen other forum topics that are related to this but *are not the same*. I do not have a Premiere Pro sequence, this is for a sequence directly added to Encoder by going to "add source" and selecting the first image in the sequence. I've done the following to debug the issue:1) restarted computer2) tried images in a different folder3) cleared ME's cache4) turned off the setting for "import sequences manually". The files are all in the same folder on my C drive. There is nothing else accessing the files at the same time. The system is brand new and extremely powerful, 64gb ram, Intel Ultra9 processor, RTX4070 GPU.
Well, I updated to v25 and now none of our mogrts work when exporting. From Premiere or AME, it seems to hit the graphics file and stops and becomes non-responsive. No preview displays. Software only has same issue. Delete the mogrt and export works fine. This worked perfectly fine before the update.Absolutely no clue why this failing now. cleared caches, reinstalled, etc. Restored system and tried again, same issue. As an added bonus, when I went to reopen a project after restoring the system, it failed because v25 saved it and all the autosaves under v25. Now I have to rebuild the project with hours of work invested. Joy. W10x64, 14900k, 3080ti, 96gbRam, Gen4M.2 drives throughout.
I see that the settings are still logged in.If you process 5 videos at a time, this error will occur three times. The other 2 videos were uploaded correctly and successfully. 10/13/2024 03:44:54 AM : YouTube - { "error": { "code": 401, "message": "Request had invalid authentication credentials. 1. Version of the app Tested in v24.6.1 and in the Beta2. Platform and OS versionTested on Windows 10, MacOS 14 and MacOS 15 (Intel and M1)3. Basic steps to reproduce the problemIn Premiere - import a multi-channel audio fileTested with Polywav 32bit-float 48000 Hz .WAV filesAdd a resource heavy vst/vst3 as a track effect to one channelex. Supertone Clear or Izotope RX Dialogue IsolateSend to Media Encoder and render4. Expected resultAll tracks in sync with the FX applied5. Actual resultThe FX is applied, but the track is delayed - usually by less than a frame's length Hi, I've been running into issues when trying to export sequences that use resource heavy audio plugins. Playback and file export via Premiere Pro are in sync, so this seems to be an isolated issue with AME. Of course it's possible to solo/export the track as a workaround or to simply render via Premiere - but for batch renders this can become very tedious. Thanks,Sean
I have completed a project in premiere pro 24.6.2. I have rendered out the project using 1920x1080 and 29.97fps. When I export to Media Encoder, I use the H264 format and check to ensure that the settings are still the same. The preview shows the entire video. However, when Media Encoder renders the clip, it looks more like 1920x540, clipping the lower half of the video. I've deleted media encoder, reinstalled, checked for updates in all the adobe programs, migrated the files onto the local computer, etc. I've spent a week on forums and rerendering a 5 minute video to no resolve. I'm not seeing any error logs. I've tried other formats and I still get the same result. I've verified that its importing in a 1920x1080 format, but everything is rendering in what appears about 1920x540, though encoder says otherwise. In all my years of using premiere pro and media encoder, I've never had this much problem out of the software. I'm using Windows 11. Any help would be much appreiciated.
Premiere PRO: 24.1.0 (Build 85)Media Encoder: 24.1 (Build 68)Windows 11 version 23H2 (KB5043076) After sending a file from a Premiere Pro project to Media Encoder for rendering and clicking on the start button to start the rendering, the Media Encoder does not proceed with the task. No rendering occurs. We uninstalled and reinstalled the PP and ME software and tried disabling ESET antivirus but still were not able to get this to work. This has functioned before but not for the last two weeks. The only change we can think of is the Windows OS update that might have caused this issue. If no fixes are available for this, where can I find an older version of PP and ME? We have a user running PP version 15.4.0. and we would like the installation file for that version. Thank you,
I have an After Effects project outputting to DPX. When I render it out of Media Encoder it give me a 48 to 60 hour render time, whereas rendering directly in After Effects it is under 10 hours. The output sttings as far as I can tell are identical. Rendering directly in After Effects is showing 40% PCU usage, but Media Encoder is showing about 5%, so my best guess is that Multi-Frame rendering isn't working correctly in Media Encoder. Running AE 2024 (24.6.2) and ME 2024 (24.6.1) on Windows. Source files and render target are over the network, but the same config is used for AE and ME, so have mostly ruled that out. Anyone had a similar experience? Or have any tips for troubleshooting ME? I much prefer to render out of ME so that AE is tied up for the whole render.
Status of the files in the queue list are presumably labeled "ready" and "done" in English, but in Swedish someone has chosen words that are so close to each other, making them somewhat confusing – "klar" and "färdig" can be used interchangeably. Instead, change "ready – klar" to "redo"and that way you could leave "done – färdig" or maybe change it to "genomförd".
Hi, I need to disable network adapter for media encoder to start encoding. Why? I had exact same problem with AME 2019, and that was the main reason for me to switch to the newest one available. After a few monts I have the same problem with the newest AME. I mean, where does AME needs to connect prior to start encoding and why it is unable to do so?Logically, disabled network adapter means there is no connection whatsoever for AME, telling it DO NOT EVEN TRY TO connect, and then it works.Ideas, solutions? windows10, latest updatelatest adobe
I already know how to fix this in Premiere Pro as shown in https://youtu.be/z4lkODFtwHQ . That's by changing the Media Color Space to Rec 2020. However, the color space is greyed out in ME. So, how could I fix the overexposed video in ME?
I can render the same comp out of After Effects in about 5 min, whereas it takes 30 min to render the same comp from Media Encoder. Why is ti like this. Happy to share project files etc to find out.
Hi all, when I export through media encoder my third party effects (such as a keyer and transitions) don't end up in my export (either showing up as offline media or just not at all), but when I export directly from Premiere Pro they are! This is interrupting my workflow as I need to continually export when editing other projects (obviosuly not possible if exporting from Premiere directly). Anyone have any ideas? Thanks
I suppose this might actually be an intentional choice but it seems like a bug, since for as long as I've been using Media Encoder, a file's Source Range has defaulted to the in/out of your Premiere (currently on v24.5.0 Build 57) sequence, if it had one. I'm on version 24.5 Build 50 of Media Encoder and, when exporting separate parts of a sequence, now have to manually adjust my settings for each queued file and change the source range from "Work Area" to "Sequence In/Out". Just looking for clarity on whether or not this was intentional. And if it was, I would love an option to default to in/out (or any of the other options for that matter). Thank you for your help! Attached are screenshots of my machine's information, a 20 frame in/out of a 30 minute sequence, and the resulting default preset in Media Encoder.
