I have Move Tool selected and "Show Transform Controls" checked. I select an image or a text that I want to resize and it shows a bounded box with 8 control points/squares as it should. I hover my mouse above any of those points and it shows a "resize" icon. But when I click instead of resizing image it always MOVES it. After than I have to move it back and click again on the same point and now it would resize. I've seen this behavior in the program for a very long time, and finally decided to write about it. I don't think this is right. If I want to move an object I would click inside it. There's no logical reason transform controls changes to move all of the sudden... Is this something that can be changed in settings? Version 23.4.2 Thanks in advance!
I have found that, if you try one of the AI-based functions (e.g. generative fill), don't like the results and so remove all the AI-generated content, content credentials are still forcibly added to exported files stating incorrectly "This image combines multiple pieces of content. At least one was generated with an AI tool." This happens even after closing and re-opening the document (meaning that the deletion cannot be undone). Steps to reproduce: 1. Open any image file 2. Select an area and click "generative fill" then "generate" 3. In the "Generative layer" properties panel, delete each of the three suggestions. 4. In the "Layers" panel, delete the layer called "Generative fill" (including its layer mask) 5. Select File->Export and observe that Content Credentials have been added. A workround is to copy each layer to a new document, but in reality shouldn't the reference to AI be removed if all the AI-generated content has been deleted? Photoshop version is 25.11.0
Everyday I edit a archive in this mode, but today appear the message "This color mode is not yet supported in Photoshop web.". Sorry for my english.
When copy/pasting attributes from one shape layer to another, "paste attributes" isn't working. Attributes that were copied from one shape will not paste into another shape. Sometimes the option to paste doesn't even show up in the right click menu, it only allows the option to copy. This is a procedure I've done countless times, and this is the first I've encountered this issue. 26.6.0 on imac, sequoia 15.4.1
Im trying to get a live preview of the color im choosing on the canvas and not just in the color picker box. Sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't. I can't tell if its canvas/document size, layer count + smart filters, zoom level, etc. Nothing is consistent in what I think could be the problem. Mainly using the live canvas preview feature when this color fill layer is set to Hard Mix with a Black and White adjustment layer on top. The video attatched has 2 files open, an already in-progress design file an a fresh file. The live preview works inside the IP file but not the newly created one, which you would think would be the other way around. Any help on how to fix this? Running PS 26.1.0 on a 2024 Macbook Pro Apple M4 Pro.
This bug referenced here is happening in Photoshop 26.7. As mentioned in that thread, the bug occurs with presets that were created and functioning in earlier verisons (26.6.1) and presets that were created and exported in the latest 26.7. Each import attempt results in the error message in red: "There was a problem with your selected file, and the custom presets did not import." Would love a workaround beyond dialing back to 26.6.1 or a general ETA on a bug fix update! TIA!
Photoshop 26.8.0 on macOS 15.5 Steps to reproduce: 1. Start Photoshop 2. Open an image The actual graph does not show up in the histogram window. But it always reappears when you switch between compact view and extended view, or resize the panel.
Photoshop 2025 (26.0.0), immediately closes when opening EPS files, no matter the method. Dragging and dropping to the shortcut, opening directly in Photoshop, or even using "File > Place Embedded/Linked" – it simply crashes. I've tested this on two different machines (both Macs) with Ventura, Sonoma, and Sequoia (all clean installations, as I thought it might be a macOS issue), but the problem persists. I didn’t migrate any custom presets, shortcuts, or make any changes in preferences that could interfere. The strange thing is: not all EPS files cause Photoshop to crash. A few open as they should. I export all my EPS files with AF Designer before using them in Photoshop. I’ve never had an issue like this in all these years. For context: I primarily work with product retouching, so I'm unable to apply labels/logos due to this issue. Any help or workaround to resolve this problem would be greatly appreciated. There is no way to record an action so that I can automate Export As dialogue box. What I want to do is to record an action which will save one image in three formats via the Export As dialogue box and the action should remember the settings i input for each dimension. Previously Save for Web did this, but now you are calling it legacy so i expect Export As to be accessible same way via actions as Save for Web was. Thank you.
Hi there,First off, thanks for implementing ColrV0 and ColrV1 color font support in Photoshop. On using them however, I did notice a visual bug which might have overlap with this issue in InDesign. In variable color fonts using the ColrV0 and V1 spec I notice misalignments in various layers throughout the glyphs. Static versions of the same fonts render fine and also do so in Illustrator and other apps. As you can see in this ColrV0 example, in the top variable version, all the "circle" elements are misaligned compared to the version below. You also sometimes see colored elements unaligned with their outline. As you can see in this ColrV1 example (Nabla), in the top variable version the tops of the letters are unaligned. Another example: In this font (Kalnia Glaze) it only occurs in some letters (d/l, and I did not have the static variant, but it seemed to correct itself based on the variable axis position. The same happens with part of the axis in Nabla). Tested in Photoshop
Photoshop CC 2018 stealing focus, specifically when running batch processes with the Image Processor, Contact Sheet II, etc. As catch processes are run, screen control is lost to PS until entire process is completed, paralyzing workflow. No other functions on computer can be undertaken - can't leave photoshop to go back to bridge, can't open browser, can't check mail. Entire workflow is paralyzed. I understand this is a known issue; temporary work-around is to go to Photoshop/Preferences/Workspace and check "open as tabs". This work-around eliminates screen steal in image processor; it does not eliminate screen steal when running Contact Sheet II or other processes, and it is not a permanent fix if you prefer not to work in tabs. I am posting this at suggestion of Photoshop facilitator so that when updates occur and a permanent fix is implemented, there will be notification.
i m facing issue in letest photoshop..i try all the ways, like reinstallation, older version, but still not working any buddy knows solution ???please Help me...Bhargav [subject renamed for clarity]
I like to stack images in tabs within a window so I can easily switch between the two to see the differences. I also like to have a white border when doing so. This always worked great in previous versions of PS, but somewhere along the way the behavior of windows changed. If you watch the screen recording, if I expand the window so there is a white space, all images in different tabs in the window have different amounts of white space which makes lining them up difficult. In the past, if I expanded a window with multiple images in tabs, each tab would have identical white space, making them line up perfectly. Please fix this bug. Using latest version of PS 2025 on MacOS 15.4.1. Jeff
Chinese users generally have this error problem, and it has existed for many years and has not been solved yet. When inputting text, it is always fixed in the lower right corner or the upper left corner. I have this problem whether I use photoshop or illustrator. When inputting text, it is always fixed in the lower right corner or the upper left corner.
Bonjour ! Avec Windows 10 et Photoshop CC 2024 l'outil lasso polygonal refuse les retours arrière. Pourriez-vous me dire ce qui peut causer ce problème assez désagréable s'il vous plait ? Cordialement THOMAS60
Hello - I updated my Photoshop to 26.5.0, and now when I try to purge the "Video Cache" (from drop down menu "Edit"), well automatically "𝗱𝘆𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲𝗿.𝗮𝗽𝗽" is launched and seems to not responding. The only way to close that app is too "force quit". Any idea why and how to avoid this behaviour? Thx, enjoy your day… - Dimitri

THe latest version of Photoshop has a new very annoying bug! If you have multiple canvases open in photoshop, it constantly keep selecting the underlying/non current canvases especially when they are hidden behind the canvas you are working on. Therefore you need to keep each canvas distant from eachother or open as few images as possible. This is super annoying! See videoPS! Rolling back to Photoshop 25.5 and it works. 26.0 and 26.1 the bug appears. Can you please fix this asap adobe!?
Adobe Photoshop 26.8.1 on Mac OS 14.6.1 If I apply Curves to a Layer Mask and use the Black Point Picker after the White Point Picker it seems to produce a faulty result. (see gif) Can anyone confirm or has this issue already come up previously? Regards, Pfaffenbichler
I am trying to change the setting on my line tool arrow option to be a percentage of the line vs. just a pixel setting, but PS won't allow it. This is critical, because I have lines of different lengths and widths, and the arrowhead needs to be responsive based on the line it is drawn with.
Hi. The histogram shown in the Histogram panel and Curves & Levels UI is incorrect for 32-bit images. The histogram is shifted right. I see this in Ps 26.8.1 and recent prior versions. The shifted histogram makes it much harder to use Curves because the plotted histogram doesn't relate to the curves I make. The curves I make are being applied correctly in compositing (thankfully!). Below is a simple example with a solid gray layer, having an RGB value of [0.1, 0.1, 0.1]. The direct conversion to 8-bit would be [26, 26, 26]. The Info panel is correct: The Histogram and Curves panels show incorrect histograms, showing an 8-bit value of 89 instead of 26. Various 32-bit color values I have tried seem to show 8-bit histogram values that are being gamma-converted to gamma 2.2. For this example having a 32-bit color value of [0.1, 0.1, 0.1]:(0.1 ^ (1 / 2.2)) * 255 = 90.48Here the converted value of 90.48 is close to the value 89 shown in the histogram. I tri
Hi. Photoshop closes automatically after freezing for a few minutes. It's very annoying to have to save your work every 2 minutes in case it happens again. I thought that with today's update it would be solved, but no. I got confused and I have not saved the work and I have lost half an hour of work. Attached system information.
The 'Enable Gestures' option allows users to use trackpad gestures like 'Two-finger move' for panning and 'Pinch in/out' for zooming in and out. However, if you enable the 'Zoom with Scroll Wheel' option, the gestures start to malfunction. The 'Two-finger move (up/down)' gesture, instead of panning, begins to zoom the image in and out. Essentially, both gestures end up performing the zoom function when using a trackpad. Photoshop v25.9.1 macOS v12.7.6
Issue: In Photoshop (32-bit mode), the 32-Bit Preview Options feature does not behave as expected. When adjustments are made in the 32-Bit Preview Options (e.g., adjusting Exposure, Gamma, or Preview Mode), the changes are reflected only in the Navigator Panel, but not in the Main Workspace Display. Photoshop version 26.2.0 20241207.r.140 bc85906 arm64OS: Mac OS 14.6.1 Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open a 32-bit image in Photoshop. 2.Go to View > 32-Bit Preview Options. 3.Adjust the Exposure or Gamma values. 4.Observe the effect in the Navigator Panel. 5.Notice that the Main Workspace Display remains unaffected.
