In PrP 25.x, when creating captions using the new social styles - e.g. bold with white background, etc., exports are cutting off portions of characters and punctuation when using custom (non-default) fonts. The captions will display properly in the edit window, but are cut off on export. (examples attached) Workaround seems to be increasing the background expand from the default of 17.4 to 20. This is driving me nuts! For some reason, video doesn't play in adobe premiere and I can't scrub through it.If I drag the playhead over the sequence video, it doesn't move the video preview, it just sits on the first frame of that video and doesn't move! PC is more than capable of handling video editing. (and, It worked perfectly before). I've cleared the media cache. I've reset the workspace / layout. I've reset the program (via holding shift down upon opening). I've tried deleting the sequence, making a new one, making a new project. Changed the preview quality. (And the paused quality). All drivers are up to date. All adobe programs are up to date. The 'Video Rendering and Playback' is set to / greyed out for 'Mercury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration.I've tried changing the Sequence Settings > Preview File Format (to a few options). I've tried changing the audio hardware to several different options. As well as making s
Have Adobe Premiere Pro 25.4.0 (Build 99) Me & my team have been encountering issues with Premiere in the past few months where if we import clips into our project or the timeline, the audio gets automatically muted on a clip, even if other clips have sound. Not sure if essential sound is the root of this problem. I am attaching an example here (link expires August 31, 2025): https://streamable.com/nbav9v
When I am editting videos now, there is pixilation when I stop in the track to edit. It happens when I pause and then skip back to a previous spot, the images pixilate into one another, or sometimes all I have to do is click the play/stop button. Then it can also happen if I remove or extract a section of video. In some cases, playing back over the footage will clear it and in other cases the artifacts stay and are in the final product. This was happening on an old laptop that I had, with Windows 10 and thought that outdated tech may have been the issue, however I have upgraded to a brand new system and I am still having the problem. I am running Premiere Pro 25.4 on Windows 11. The GPU is Nvdia RTX 5090 with an Intel Core Ultra 9. I have tried going into the Sequence settings and setting to 29.97 fps Non-Drop-Frame and 29.97 Drop-Frame. In the Preferences under Media I have the boxes checked for H264/HVEC hardware accelerated decoding and encoding. My resolution is set 1920x1080.
Cordialement,
Hey all, I've been working on an edit that is setup in a production format and have run into some super frustrating issues with slow performance. I have 5x days of footage from a shoot totaling about 9TB, with all content from each shoot day ingested into its own project. From there I have an assembly project where I've compiled all of the selects into two primary timelines. Within these timelines the clips are organized by categories that are identified by adjustment layers. During the assembly process everything seemed to be working relatively fine however I recently hit a point where it turned a corner and started being extremely slow/non-functional. I'm wondering if the length of content in the timelines (around 8 hrs per timeline) is too much for the system to handle, however its odd because I was working ok as I was building them out (it basically started acting up once I transitioned into editing the film). The other factor
Since the update to Premiere Pro V 25.4.1, I’ve been having major audio issues with .wav files. When I first open them, I can hear the content, but as soon as I start editing, there’s no more sound. Same problem with Audition.
I'm having an error with the adjustment layer in the latest Premiere update. Just placing the layer over the video without any effects tells me the effect requires a GPU. Another problem is that many of the Premiere Gal Atom X effects have stopped working or no longer work correctly. My Nvidia driver version is 572.16, and my work graphics card is a 1080. I don't want to mess up the company computer too much to avoid messing things up. Many people use the same computer because they have other programs installed.I hope someone on the forum or at Adobe can give me a solution, as there is an effect I need to use with the adjustment layer.
Hi, I need urgent help. I have a Premiere Pro Team Project file (.tpr) that is 95 MB in size and located in:C:\Users\Tomorrow\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Common\Team Projects Local Hub\Auto SavesPremiere Pro 2025 does not allow me to open it. I already tried moving it to "local" or "Projects" folders, but the file is not recognized, and the "Open" button remains disabled. There is no option to convert it either. I really need to recover this project.I have read that in these cases the official **Team Project Converter** tool is required to transform a .tpr into a standard Premiere Pro project (.prproj). Could you please provide me with this tool or help me convert my .tpr file into a usable .prproj?Thank you in advance.
HELP!I recently updated to Premiere 2025 as well as my After Effects to 2025 (both are most recent versions), and I can't use Dynamic Links. I keep getting an error and no content gets pulled in. Anyone have ideas. See attached screenshot.
Steps to reproduce (seen on Premiere Pro 25.3.0 (Build 84) on macOS Sequioa 15.6) 1. Press Command-` to enter full screen mode2. Press Command-tab to switch to another app3. I'm still seeing the full-screen video from Premiere Pro and I've got no visible way to regain control of the system. The usual keyboard shortcuts of Escape or Command-` will no longer work since I'm out of Premiere. The workaround is to realize that this has happened and Cmd-Tab back to it (even though the task switcher will no longer display), but I'd regard this as a bug. There's no reason why the full-screen video would want to remain once I've used the task switcher to move focus to another app, and it absolutely shouldn't be on top anymore.
is anyone else getting tons of crashes on premiere after updating to 25.4.0 (build 99)? I'm on Mac os Sequoia 15.6, computer memory: 128gb. apple m2 ultra mac studio 2023.
I use the remix tool frequently, and often have to manually edit the song after to ajust the ending or get to an exact run time. Everytime I do one of these edits, it works great, until I closed and reopen the project. Often, though not every time, when I open the project again the remixed track gets all messed up. It ignores the edits, and starts the song over at each edit. This forces me to redo the edit again. Is there a way to get it to commit or lock in the edits other than exporting a seperate file? have not managed to identify what causes this to happen when it does or why it works sometimes. Using Premiere Version 25.2.3, on Mac Studio M1, 65 gigs ram.
Tried this with Adobe's phone support and got shut down because it was a "how-to" question, not a technical one, and I should look on YouTube or use a program more dedicated to audio. I strongly suspect it's actually a bug in Premiere, but maybe someone can help me understand the problem better. I have 2 audio tracks, which each have their own subsequence in them. The subsequences are the same length. They have the same sequence settings (and are the same Hz). They contain clips from 1 source audio file each, both of which are identical in format and length, and each subsequence contains a complex set of edits. They are aligned on the timeline and perfectly synchronized to each other so that they sound how I want them. If I use Speed/Duration to increase the speed of both clips by the same amount, they remain perfectly synchronized. But if I check the box "Maintain audio pitch", they stop being in sync with each other. I can't understand what could be causing this t
Premiere freezes and randomly crashes with no warning whatsoever. Task Manager cannot end it, Alt+F4 does nothing; the only solution is restarting my PC.I added 1080p 60 fps video to the timeline. Tried sequence fps at 30 and 59.94; no difference. Cleared Media Cache and Auto-Save folder. Attempted to set Renderer to Software Only; cannot change. Updated Premiere; the problem persists.Premiere should have played the video smoothly on the timeline and allowed me to edit without issues. The program froze with no warning, CPU and RAM usage dropped to near 0%, and it could not be closed with any keys or Task Manager. The only solution was restarting the PC.No, only standard Premiere installation; no codec packs or plugins present on the system.CPU: Intel Core i5-12400F 2.5GHz, 12 coresRAM: 16 GB DDR4 3200 MHzGPU: ASUS Radeon TUF RX 6800 16GBSSD: 500GB WD SN570 (system), 2TB external SSD (videos)OS: Windows 11 Pro, latest updates installed

I have consistently seen a 5-10 second freeze in premiere that is always followed by none of the media in my timeline playing. The CTI will move and the sound will play, but the video will not move whatsoever. I have to restart premiere in order for it to be fixed. Just started in the last couple of weeks. Hi everyone,I’m experiencing a frustrating issue with Premiere Pro version 25.4.0 — there is no audio playback at all, in any project. I had previously encountered this exact problem with earlier version 25 updates, so I rolled back to version 24, where everything worked perfectly.Today I updated again to 25.4.0 hoping the issue would be resolved, but the same problem is back: no audio output whatsoever, even though everything else in the timeline plays fine. What I’ve tried:Audio hardware settings are correctly set (same as in version 24).Cleared cache.Reset preferences.Checked all track mutes, volume levels, and audio meters (no levels showing during playback).Tried both new and existing projects. My system specs:CPU: Intel Core i9-9900K @ 3.60GHzRAM: 32 GBStorage: 954 GB SSD (SPCC), 238 GB SSD (TRM M100), 1.82 TB HDDGPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 (6 GB)OS: Windows 64-bit, x64-based processorIs anyone else facing this issue in version 25.4.0?
Hi, I find that the Auto-transcribe function often is not working at all - the Transcript bin will be blank even after Transcribing the source audio. And then when I go back to the source audio in the Project window and right click, the only option is (Re)Transcribe. I am using Premiere version 25.2.3 on a 2024 Macbook Pro, OS Sequoia 15.4.1. The clips I need transcribed are Multicams. I open one in the Timeline, then Reveal the audio file in the Project. I right click > Transcribe. I have the Text / Transcript window open, but nothing happens. After a few minutes, I try again, and now when I right click that audio file, the only option is (Re)Transcribe. But the Text window is still blank. If it's funcitoning correctly, when I click Transcribe, the window will open up asking if I want to have Multiple Speakers. But that doesn't happen. This bug is not happening all the time... it's about 30% of the time I try to get my footage transcribed. Wondering if th
Hello! I need help, please. My Premiere is slow, freezing a lot at times, and even editing CC is difficult at times. I need guidance to solve this problem. The preview is giving an error; when editing subtitles through the preview panel, the software responds as if I had the timeline panel selected and keeps activating the tools with shortcut keys. In the effect controls panel, I sometimes can't control the position's speed curve as needed; the software doesn't allow it, and I'm unable to animate correctly. Please help me.
When I'm inputting markers to an audio track I notice a lag where the markers are placed several frames after I've hit the M key. Also when I hit the space bar to stop the curser, it will stop many frames after I've hit the space bar. I'm running a 2020 iMac with Premier 25.2.3. My question is, is this a Mac issue that can be fixed in my mac settings or is it a premiere issue?
Hello! I really need help. I've been trying to export a project. It's just a 15 minute video, although the quality is quite demanding. I never had any issues like this before even when I export like 50 minute video with the same quality, but right now I've been experiencing "Force Quit Application" from mac, showing really high consumption of RAM. Take note that this is the only remaining application left opened but at the middle of the export it will appear. I already tried exporting using Adobe Premiere Pro, Encoder, deleted files to increase storage, changed the Encoding Setting from Hardware to Software, Reduced the width and height of output from 2k to 1080p. Idk what to do, I'm out of options. Macbook Specs: Apple M2 Pro 16 GB Memory
