Hi. Recently updated from 22.6.2 to 25.3.0. Used to use 22.6.2 because it is the most stable version in my experience. But I really wanted to try some new features so decided to update. Gladly I kept 22.6.2 because 25.3.0 somehow is very slow at Inserting/Overwriting and Undoing, this actions take up to 2 seconds and it is super annoying. I've attached video to this post showing this behavior - usually I use hotkeys, but for the video I used UI-buttons.This Production is an upgraded version of 22.6.2 Production I've been working on. Tried deleting media cache but it didn't help. Tried creating new production and adding projects from the old production to the new one and it didn't help too.I'm on MacBook Pro 16 M1 Max 64Gb Sequoia 15.5. All of my media files are 1920x1080 ProRes Proxy stored on Samsung T7 external SSD.My post about this on Reddit with some advices in the comment section which didn't help: https://www.reddit.com/r/premiere/comments/1ll8gcv/comment/mzy16es/?context=3
The playback of video itself isn't laggy/stuttery, I'm talking specifcally about the blue timeline bar that scrolls while playing. v25.3.0 build 84EDIT: I should add, when a clip is NOT selected (and the Effect Controls panel is empty) the lagging is noticeably lessened, although still present. EDIT 2: Under preferences > timeline > Timeline Playback Auto-Scrolling, the lagging happens when "No Scroll" and "Page Scroll" are selected, but when "Smooth Scroll" is selected, the timeline scrolls smoothly with no lag. I personally like Page Scroll better though.

Having an issue where my motion graphics appear as they should in my preview, but are extremely pixelated in my exports. The motion graphics are 1080p ProRes files in a 1080p sequence - I've also tried a dynamic link, and a h.264 file instead, but neither worked. The issue is present in the 4K version of this video too. I'm on Premiere 24 but have also tried 25. It didn't work. Does anyone know what might be causing this?
There is an issue with croping/masking, even with only two layers. Playback can't run smoothly even in 1/8 resolution and rendering time takes about 20 times more than should. . notes:Latest Premiere pro 25.3 (happened with previous version as well).Working on Windows 10 pro. There are no other effects applied to the upper layer (nor to the lower one).Files used are: .MOV 4K 150mb/s. 4:2:2. VLOG. out of a Panasonic s1H.It's not the first time I'm working on a similar project with same files, I don't think I had that issue with older builds (cc2024).Rendering a 10 sec clip takes about 2 minutes. With cropping disabled - 6 sec. Hardware specs are: CPU: 14900KGPU: RTX5070 super. (CUDA enabled. also tried to disable it) Data is on: MSI M480 PRO 4TB (nvme pcie 4). RAM: 96GB (48*2) Would appreciate some help with addressing the issue.
I've been working in Premiere Pro for almost 8 years, but I'm now completely disappointed with Adobe's recent updates. There's too much lag, issues with importing footage, slow startup, and painfully slow preview rendering. It's been the worst experience lately.I have a powerful system — GTX 4070 series GPU, 32GB RAM — and I use other demanding software like Blender and Unreal Engine without any problems. Yet, Premiere Pro continues to perform poorly. Because of this, I'm seriously considering switching to alternative editing software like DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro. "Waste of money and time "
"I’ve confirmed that I followed all the installation steps as instructed, but when using the plugin, a 'Media Offline' error appears. Everything else in the software seems to be functioning normally. Could it be that the downloaded preset pack needs to be placed in a specific folder within Premiere Pro?"
Long story short...I'm working on my windows desktop with a huge hour long multicam video setup and these are the issues I got. - Slow on startup- Controls are not always responsive. (Everytime i play/puase it takes a good minute to stop.)- Videos take too long to relink- Keyframes lag- Scrubbing on the timeline lags- Unable to use text- Exporting is super slow (it used to take an hour or 2 to export this particular project ~ with 25.3 it said it would take 35 hours)
I'm experiencing severe audio sync issues specifically when using Render and Replace with Sony FX3 HEVC-HS footage in Premiere Pro. The audio becomes out of sync by multiple seconds after render and replace, despite being perfectly synchronized during normal editing and final export.Key DetailsSource footage: Sony FX3 HEVC-HS UHD 50pTimeline settings: UHD 50p (matches source)Render and Replace target: ProRes LT UHDAudio behavior: Perfect sync during editing and export, massive offset only after render and replaceOffset display: Audio offset is visible on clips in timeline after render and replaceRestore unrendered: Partially helps but doesn't fully restore syncSteps to ReproduceImport Sony FX3 HEVC-HS UHD 50p footage into Premiere ProCreate UHD 50p timeline (matching source)Verify audio/video sync is perfect during playbackSelect clips and use Render and Replace with ProRes LT UHDAudio becomes severely out of sync (multiple seconds offs
.MOV clips on my timeline is laggy and doesn't play normally like it would. This happened June 24, 2025.I'm normally editing as usual, this does not occut in the past and only took place after the last Premiere Pro update. At first, i was able to play the .mov clips smoothly, but after i encountered an error saying "frame cannot be retrieved"... it became worse. Mp4 and other format of video clips are still working well and smoothly playing.I tried every solution posted in the community but the problem still occurs until now.The only solution i was able to make was convert the affected .mov clips to h264 to be able to finish my project. However problem is still unresolved without going through the process of converting the clips. I'm using Windows 11 ProAdobe Subscriptioni5-14600K40GB RAMNvidia GeForce RTX 3050 8 GB Below is a video document showing the playback lag i encountered with .mov clips. (audio is not recorded but does not have any problem at all.) https://dr
I'm using Mac Book Pro (I9, AMD Pro 5500M, Sequoia 15.5, PP 25.2.3 build 4) I have a 2 hours multicam project with AVCHD, Sony EXCam files which are working well without proxy. After ungrade to 25.3, playback is laggy, and always hang up during dragging time), it does help enen though I used proxy. I found only 1 AVCHD files, the playback is worst. So, I reverted to 25.2.3.
I am unable to use Premiere Pro on my new LG Gram laptop. The videos are not rendering, even though my laptop drivers are up-to-date. Here is my machine specs:Intel(R) Core(TM) Ultra 7 155H, 3800 Mhz, 16 Core(s), 22 Logical Processor(s)Intel(R) Arc(TM) GraphicsAfter contacting support I learned that Adobe does not yet support Intel(R) Arc(TM) Graphics. Any solution to patch it up for now?How long will take to have a patch or update.
I'm sure this has happened in prev versions, but currently in version 25.3; If you are loading a REC2100 HLG clip into a time line, the thumbnail will have the proper colors, and not be blown out. If you change to an SDR sequence, the preview window/program monitor all do whats expected, but the thumbnails have blown out color. (a little harder to see with this example, but it is there, other clips produce more blowout depending on what it recorded). Hopefully someone at Adobe can address the color management on the timeline also please.
Critical Issues in Premiere Pro 25.3 – Keyboard Layout + LUTs Not Working Dear Adobe Team, The latest version of Premiere Pro (25.3) is currently unusable for professional workflows due to multiple critical bugs: Keyboard Layout Bug – The application forces the layout back to “EN” regardless of user selection (e.g. “DE”, “SV”, etc.). This makes custom shortcuts impossible to use on non-US keyboards. LUTs Not Applying – LUTs do not load or apply correctly to footage, or are reset when reopening projects. General Instability – Timeline playback glitches, performance drops, and various UI responsiveness issues are present on macOS (Apple Silicon). These issues are blocking production work. The previous version (25.2.3) was more stable, and many professionals are rolling back or switching to 24.6.5 to continue working. Please treat this with urgency and release a patch as soon as possible. Thank you.
I have encountered this issue for a couple times and it's literally annoying. The issue is about, timeline. When I upload a video and then drag it to the timeline, sometimes I can't drag the audio while the video itself uploads and vise versa. And I'm dragging both, not just one element so I'm sure it isn't because I'm just dragging the video or vv. Can you help me?
Hope the team addresses the timeline issue in future versions.Current version: 25.30 (Build 84)Platform: macOS Issue(s): Timeline soundtracks do not display properly. The waveform display of soundtracks looks different from what is expected when the timeline is zoomed out.
Ever since I updated to Premiere 25 a month ago my presets started disappearing at random. Sometimes when I reopen premiere, sometimes even while working on it. It has no consistency, to give you an exemple the ones that always disappear are shaking presets from Cinecom (that I've been using for months without issues), simple transform with keyframes on the position. There are 6 of them in that folder and 4 of them keep disappearing and the same 2 stay. I can move the folder, rename it, resave it, nothing changes the outcome. This same scenario happens to other imported presets as well or the whole folder too (be they mine or from an external source, no discrimination there). Then after reading a post in here with a very similar problem, I saw a moderator's response saying it would be fixed in the next update. HoorayHere we areNext updateI made new presetsHow naive I wasI lost 3 hours of my time making presets just for them to ALL disappear the next time I reopenned the software. And of

Hi,I haven’t used Premiere Pro for a few weeks, and when I came back to it, I found myself unable to open my project. Here’s what happened the first time I encountered the issue:I plugged in the external hard drive where the project is stored and tried to open it. Premiere Pro launched but got stuck during the loading process for several minutes, then became unresponsive. I had to force it to shut down.Next, I tried launching Premiere Pro via the Creative Cloud launcher and then opening the project from within the app. This time, the project loading window didn’t even appear before Premiere Pro froze again. I had to shut it down manually.I then tried creating a new project to see if the issue was specific to the old one—maybe it got corrupted or something I don’t understand—but even when creating a new project, the same thing happened as in the previous attempt.I also tried opening one of the automatically saved versions of the project, but I ran into the exact same problem.Could someon
For one of the sequences in our team project, I'm getting a message that another person is editing the sequence and that I have unpublished changes that will be copied to a new sequence. When I click "OK", the dialog disappears and an "Update Project Items" dialog comes up shortly after. After a few moments, the dialogs reappear and repeat, even without intervention. In this particular case, I haven't even personally opened the sequence being called out as conflicting since I first published the team project. I'm attaching a screen recording that starts with a fresh state after deleting the local project cache. There is a black box obscuring a name that exists throughout the recording. I scroll the project files with the mouse wheel once, I move the mouse around, and I click the "OK" button on the dialog for all the actions I'm doing in the recording. Repro steps1. Publish a large, existing project with many sequences as a team project. This proj

Hello We are experiencing an issue with version 25.2 on Windows 11 OS When users take a 16 track mxf file and modify it to use the tracks they want using the right click modify clip channels function. The file will default to just playing back the audio from track 1 when its loaded into the source preview monitor So far the only work around we have found is to modify the clip to how the user wants it. Unlink then relink it. And of course have tried the usual cache and preferences clearances. As well as a trial run in 25.2.3. We have checked in version 24 and no such problem exists there. But due to a bug we encountered in 24 we can't roll back(and so are between the rock and hard place) The work around hasn't been fully stable and it has coincided with instances of the already reported bug where adobe claims it can't access a files audio. And when we see this we lose all audio until we reboot the application If anyone else has experi
