Whenever I try to open a project in Adobe Premier Pro 25, my OS crashes with no warning, no blue screen, nothing—just a hard restart. The behavior started two days ago. Since then, I've updated my video driver and ensured all other Windows updates and system BIOS have been updated. I'm running on Windows 11 Pro build 26100. The processor is an AMD Ryzen 5 5600G, 3900 Mhz, 6 Cores, 12 Logical Processors, 64 GB of RAM. Radeon RX 6500XT with 512 MB RAM. Dear Adobe Community, I regularly create scrolling text inside a graphics item for our quarterly graduation videos. The graphics item/box usually handles around 300 names for a six-minute scroll just fine; rendering and exporting took a few minutes on my office Windows desktop. On my new MacBook Pro, just rendering the six-minute scroll is taking 9 hours, let alone how long it will take to export. Steps I have taken to speed up the process:cleared media cacheensured that my sequence settings match best practicesswept my computer with CCleaner Attached below are my MacBook specs. I am using Premiere Pro 2024 and it is up to date. MacOS Sonoma 14.3.1. Your help would be most appreciated!
If you have a search bin of items, and you've opened that search bin in a separate tab, you are unable to change the label of items in that search bin. It appears greyed on on the right click menu, and shortcut doesn't work. You can, however, change the label color on items in a search bin if that is just twirled open from within the project panel. To reproduce:1. Create a search bin with parameters that allow it to populate with at least one item.2. Open the search bin in a separate tab.3. Try to change the label color. Expected Behavior would be label color changes the same as if you had simply opened a regular bin, but in this case, nothing happens. Running 25.1.0 on a Mac Studio 2023 running 13.6.6, but I've noticed this behavior in previous Premiere versions and other rigs.
[Premiere Pro 25.0, Media Encoder 25.0, After Effects 25.1 | Windows 11, i9-12900K, RTX 4080-S, 128 GB RAM]When using Productions with Premiere Pro on our larger projects with multiple editors, and exporting the final compilation sequence with all scenes through Media Encoder, there's a step before the actual video encoding that says "processing audio source...[filename]", and this seems to take a weirdly long amount of time, and I can't figure out why or what ME is even doing at that time. It'll perform this "processing audio source" task on both compressed and uncompressed tracks, and even rather short clips seem to take way longer for this "processing" to happen than it would normally take to export these as standalone files multiple times. It'll perform this "processing" for clips on muted tracks or submixes, and I've even duplicated a sequence, moved it to a fresh sub-project within productions, deleted all video tracks and half of the audio tracks...and exporting that stripp
Pretty simple problem that i dont have an answer for and could use some help. ive graded my timeline in davinci and have exported such as an xml timeline, now when trying to import it gets stuck at 0% forever . any ideas what could be going on?
Experiencing this issue on Premiere Pro v25.1.0 (Build 73) in Windows 10, as well as the same build on MacOS Sequoia v15.2. When selecting multiple Video effects in the Effect Controls panel (just through mouse clicks, with no keyboard modifiers), it automatically deselects the previously selected effect (this is the expected behavior). But when selecting Audio effects with a mouse click (again, just with the mouse and no keyboard modifiers), it will add subsequent Audio effects to a multi-selection. This behavior is identical to Ctrl-Clicking on multiple effects in the Video section of the panel. Once selected, Audio effects can only be deselected by Ctrl-Clicking on them, or by clicking on any open area of the Effect Controls panel, which deselects everything. Furthermore, when using non-modified clicks on multiple Audio effects, and then selecting a Video effect in the same panel (if controlling a clip with Audio and Video components), the first&n
Hello I am using Premiere Pro v24.6.1 (Built 2) on a Windows Laptop. Windows 11 Home.I imported a 6K stereoscopic video mp4 (6400 x 6400) h264 which was filmed on Insta360 Pro 2 and is already stitched on Insta360 Stitcher app.I tried to export a short part of it in 4K (3480 x 3480) on PP. When played back on Quest 2, the video has a double black line where the stitch line is.When I export a 4K video directly from the Insta360 Stitcher, and play it back on Quest 2 there is no black line.Which means that the problem occurs in Premiere Pro.Please see the attached screenshot from Quest and the settings on Premiere Pro. Actually what I see on Quest is a double thin black line. The screenshot shows one thick line. If you view the screenshot as flat, you can see the line on the right hand side. Any advice how to solve this? Also, are there any tutorials for editing stereoscopic 360 video? The only official Adobe video is from 2018, 7 years old and obsolete stuff! It is very frustrat
Ever since the transition graphics were redesigned, they are not clickable with any sort of consistency. Clicking on a transition will instead select the video underneath. This is a pretty serious interface issue. Attached video is from Premiere 25.1, runnign under MacOS 15.1.1. However, this has been an issue ever since the transition graphics were redesigned.
UPDATE: 11-1-24 We believe that there is a potential fix in beta version 25.2.0 build 3 or higher. Please update and let us know. Thank you for your patience and help resolving this issue. UPDATE: 10-31-24 This is currently a Known Issues we will be providing updates when we know more. Thank you for your patience. MEDIA DOES NOT DISPLAY ON THE TIMELINE ON WINDOWS SYSTEMS On Windows, if a custom scale factor is set in System > Display, media does not display on the Premiere Pro timeline. We are working to fix this issue in an updated version of Premiere Pro. Two workarounds are available: In Windows, turn off custom scaling and use one of the standard scaling options, or In Premiere Pro, turn off GPU-accelerated UI rendering in Preferences > General. Does anyone else have this issue with the new update? Nvidia is up to date and everything else works fine i PP... Can´t find whats wrong.... Video of the problem.
In the previous version, 24.6.1 yellow on my timeline would playback fine. Now in the latest version, it constantly studders, I have to render the footage for it to playback normally. I have the resolution set at 1/2, even when i go the way down to 1/16 still studders a lot. The same project with the same footage in version 24.6.1 no problems. The footage is Canon c70 raw LT, not mfx specsAMD 3900x96gb ram4070 tiSSD for footageAnother SSD for scratch/preview renders
Hi, I was thrilled to see that I could finally install the latest version of Premiere Pro on my ARM64 laptop, where untill now I could only run an older version. It's still not native, but at least I can now open projects that were made on regular X64 machines running the latest version of Premiere Pro. However, I encountered the following bug: everytime when I want to add a MOGRT from the libraries panel to my sequence, Premiere will crash the moment I start playback or moving around the timeline. Tried to restart several times, tried it in different projects, still the same. I used to add graphics from the library part of the Essential Graphics panel, however, my libraries don't seem to load there. I suspect it is replaced by the new libraries panel, but I can't use the MOGRTS right now.
A new bug with 24.1: Duplicate frames markers in the timeline is only showing on one of the two clips with duplicate frames (rather than both). It seems to be showing only the new clip, not the original.

All drivers are up to date.Consolidate duplicates function removes not only the duplicates but also some of the original files.Steps to reproduce:1) Open a project2) Import a folder with files in it. I used a folder with 52 MP3s3) Copy and paste this folder into the project bin. Thus you get a duplicate folder with another 52 instances of MP3s.4) Go to Edit > Consolidate Duplicates. This command removes the duplicate folder with the 52 MP3s and 7 MP3s in the original folder. The video is attached:
When I have footage on the timeline with a hundred clip markers laid out on the audio or video track, all of sudden Premiere starts to lag and get very choppy when I'm trying to scroll through the timeline. Watch this video to see: https://vimeo.com/1009141632 This is a problem. Earlier versions didn't have this issue. An example for me having so many clip markers is often times I have music with markers set to the tempo of the songs (matching the BPM). But when I'm scrolling or zooming in and out of the timeline, it's so choppy to navigate and focus on what I'm editing. I can't believe I still have to use Adobe Premiere Pro 2021 for the smoothest experience to date.2022 & 2023 have their own separate issues for me and I was hoping to use 2024 by now.But the lag with the interface when working with multiple markers and clips is a dealbreaker. Please fix this Adobe! Versions used in video above:v.2024 - 24.3.0 - build 59 (Premiere 2024)v.2021
For some time now, the waveform redrawing had been buggy, but it seems to be getting worse. Almost always, if I cut a section from a clip, the redraw of the waveform to the right fails. To get it back, I have to hope there's a z in the month or force a redraw by adjusting the depth of the track. As I edit a lot to the waveform to identify gaps, I have also noticed that redraw is just failling on smaller clips to in that you can hear the audio, but the waveform shows only tiny peaks - UNTIL you zoom in stupidly and unnecessarily close when it decides to show the waveform correctly and you hope it keeps this as you zoom out again. This is making Premiere Pro unusable and it's VERY frustrating that I am pay a lot of money each month for software that's become so full of faults at it's most basic level.
I am getting this error repeatedly on all projects from the moment i open premier. I believe it has something to do with the MOGRTS that were pre-installed because i no longer can see any preview of them. just that they are installed. but i am unable to find any way online to solve this issue. I recently had to re-install everything on my computer including windows but all of my files were backed up on drives and re-connected when i got it back and i did not open any programs until all files were back in their original places to ensure no corrupted files. Can someone help?
Hello all, I just wanted to swing by and mention two visual bugs that are currently impacting the latest version of Premiere, one of which has been an issue previously, was then resolved, and has since cropped back up in the last few versions - and another that seems to have made its way over from the beta. The first is an issue with audio waveforms. Audio waveforms currently have an issue where depending on your zoom level, or edit points made on the track, they may render differently (and sometimes even incorrectly). This issue doesn't appear to happen all the time, but will sporadically pop up during an edit.Sometimes it will behave like the first video I shared, where the waveform will just mangle itself and completely disappear, othertimes the waveform itself will visually seem fine but be completely wrong and changing the zoom level will reveal the actual waveform.I've also attached a video that shows how sometimes they just won't render at all randomly until you either move along

Small but VERY annoying bug!Just updated to 25.0. Using RGB curves Lumetri Colour panel. the "key points" or "grab points (whatever you want to call them) on each line cannot be dragged/slid/adjusted if the cursor goes ever so slightly off the graph on the bottom or left edge, but can still be adjusted and moved as like before on the right and top edges of the graph. It's making any adjustments of blacks/shadows very jumpy and inconsistant when trying to make very slight refinements.
In Lumetri color of Premiere Pro v25 there's a bug with using color wheels. If you put your mouse cursor over one of them, click and drag it to change the color, the mouse moves about 5 milimetres and stops even though you are dragging it further on. When you release the mouse button, the cursor jumps to the position where you dragged it to. Reproduced easily, two of my collegues confirmed.
I'm working in Windows 10.When I updated Premiere Pro to version 2024 (v.24.0.3), I kept version 2023 still installed because I have a work in progress that uses PP 2023.However, try to open a Premiere Pro project file by double clicking on it, even if the project was created entirely in version 2024, it tries to open in version 2023 by default. I also don't see Premiere Pro 2024 as an option among apps to open with, when I right-click on the file and choose "Open with..." or when I try to change the default application to open with in the "Opens with..." dialog in the file Properties, Premiere Pro 2024 is not among the options there as well. Does anyone know how I can fix this?
Dragging multiple clips from the project panel to the Sequence ignores the audio track selectors. 1. Select two or more clips with audio tracks in the Project panel.2. Deselect the source-side audio selectors on the sequence.3. Drag the clips from the Project panel to the Sequence. Clips should land on the sequence without their corresponding audo tracks.Unxexpectedly however, the audio track selector state is ignored and the clips land with both their audio and video tracks...even if clips have the same audio track config.
App version: Premiere Pro Version 25.0.0 (Build 61) (have noticed it in 24.x.x versions as well)Platform and OS version: macOS Ventura 13.7.1 Basic Steps to Reproduce:In the Markers panel (assuming there are at least two markers in the sequence): Click into a marker's "Comments" box and type something. Then hit Tab to move to the next Comments boxIt moves the text focus to the next box for a split second, then loses focus so you can't type in it. Expected Result: text focus is maintained, so you can press Tab once and type into the next box. Actual Result: text focus is lost, so you have to click into the box again with the mouse or use the workaround below. Additional Note: I think it has something to do with the text in the box changing, because if you don't type into the comment box (regardless of whether or not there was something in there before) then the text focus is not lost when hitting Tab to move to the next one. This is the case when m
