When manually adding keyframes to the Hue vs Sat curve, for example, the act of adding a keyframe sometimes bumps the curve up or down by a small amount rather than just adding a keyframe to the cursor's location. This should never happen by mistake.
hello, I'm trying to create a workflow with frame IO and the C2C module, premiere pro has integrated new features which allow proxies to be replaced by real files, everything works well except in one case. I use a RED DSMC2 camera connected in SDI to an Atomos which sends 1080 files in 25P with audio but when I film in slomotion on my red, the R3D file is a video file WITHOUT audio.when I try to replace the proxies with the full resolution file, I get an error message which tells me that the audio channels do not correspond and therefore that I cannot link these 2 files.. Can you find a solution or create a way to bypass this error message (which is probably useful sometimes but not in this case). THANKS I can also choose not to record the audio on the Atomos and this time the slomotions files are reconnected but the situation is reversed, I cannot relink my real speed files from the RED because they have audio and the proxy does not.
Using the track selection tool on a large number of edit points (you can see in my screenshot I have 2h worth selected) takes an incredibly long time to move, more often than not "crashing" (and sometimes even hard crashing) premiere. Meanwhile moving clips using a ripple delete or the ripple edit tool is basically instant.I understand moving a large amount of clips might require a lot on the back end and hold no real expectations of "instant" across the board, but one being basically instant while another constantly crashes prem seems a bit strange, is it because using the track selection tool is directly interacting with the clips via the UI?.I guess in addition to this it should be mentioned that grabbing a large number of clips and attempting to move them also drags the premiere UI to a grinding halt - the more clips you grab the more the user experience tanks. This behaviour has been getting progressively worse and makes adjusting large timelines incredibly painful. This behaviour c
From last update (24.6.1) the Premiere freezing my computer one by one. Just few minutes works, and then stop system, only hard restart possibly. And Premiere Beta - few version before was always freezing on prev clips, but just only app, not system, now sometimes just going to off without reasons. It's simple to reproduce: put an effect on an audio clip in a sequence, choose 'render and replace'. The clip is rendered and replaced with the applied audio effects. Then if you 'restore rendered' to get the original back to adjust the effects, the effects that were previously applied are gone. With video clips, the effects do not disappear from the clip when rendering and replacing, or restoring rendered. I just noticed this behavior, it wasn't always like this. I've done this many times before. Adding audio effects to hour-hong interviews makes render and replace a necessity. This is happening on my Windows 11 PC and I reproduced it on my coworker's M1 Max Macbook Pro. v24.6.0 (Build 86)
24.6.1 (build 2).Accidentally discovered a very strange bug.Tried to make a timelapse:Step 1. Photo => prores 422 HQStep 2. prores 422 HQ => warp stabilization no motionStep 3. prores 422 HQ (with warp stabilization no motion) => export to 4k h264.At step 2 (prores 422 HQ => warp stabilization no motion) I found that the program crashes.By trial and error I came to the conclusion that the problem is in the sides of the original file. Yes, it sounds strange. The media source is the same - a jpeg file. I shot a simple video with a simple example. The video shows how warp stabilization does not work with the prores 422 HQ 6068x4045 file and how warp stabilization works with the prores 422 HQ 6400x4266 file. Even a black video with a resolution of 6068x4045 prores 422 HQ will give the same result. I haven't tested other codecs and resolutions.
I exported a video in h.264 format to my computer and moved the file to my cloud folder so I could access it on my phone, it shows up on my phone but then I get a pop up saying the file type isn't supported and cant play it anywhere but on video players on my computer. Have exported other larger file types like this with success, and tried exporting with other file types this time with same result. Not sure what to do, please help!
Hello allI recently updated my Premiere Pro to the latest version at the same time I got a new camera.I've been trying to edit videos shot on Nikon Z8. When I color correct it I can see just how I want on the timeline, however when the export is done the colors come way off. It seems the export applies a Gama on top of the video. Here are the 2 imagesI also turned the "Effects" button off when exporting. Can anyone help me understand what is going on? Thank you Felipe
This is a weird one. Over the years, I have noticed that random crashes of Premiere Pro seem to correspond to updates in Creative Cloud. I obviously can't recreate this, but it has happened enough that I an 78% positive there is some connection. I crashed today while exporting in Media Encoder; maybe it's not weird, but PP was in the background. The "Check for issues box" popped up, and I took the bait and clicked on it and suggested I update to the newest version... light bulb goes off because, for the first time, it wasn't recommending the version I already had installed, plus I only updated to the 24.5 a few days ago. I finish my export, post it, send an email to my client explaining why I didn't make all the changes they requested, then head over here and notice that the "Welcome to Premiere Pro 24.6!" post had been made just a few minutes prior. Coincidence ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I'm on an iMac Pro3 GHz 10-Core Intel Xeon WRadeon Pro Vega 64 16 GB128 GB 2666 MHz DDR4Sonoma
I closed and then opened Premiere Pro, and now the markers in my project have all turned to the default of green. I'm running Premiere Pro version 24.2.1. I've had this project for a couple of years, and never had this issue before. Any suggestions?
The timeline is frozen when playback starts, it only refreshes when you press stop. After wasting alot of time, I found the bug. There's a GUI refresh problem when the 'browse' tab is open withing 'Essential Graphics'. Clicking on the 'Edit' tab or closing the panel fixes this immediately. I'm running a dual screen setup, with all panels apart from timeline and program, on a vertical screen. I am running the latest update: Build Version 24.6.1 (Build 2) in the latest windows updates, with AMD processor and NVIDIA 3080, currently using inbuilt jack for headphones. Hope this helps people and can be fixed soon.
I have my Yamaha HS5 monitors connected to Adobe Premiere Pro through a Focusrite interface. When I scrub through a video in the project panel, adjust values like scale with the mouse, or resize workspaces, I hear an electrical noise. This problem only occurs in Premiere Pro and nowhere else. How can I fix this so that I don't hear these sounds?
Hi everyone! Premier Pro 2024 keeps generating PEK files nonstop, creating duplicates (Mac M3max). How can I fix this?
When I use a preset effect that contains two or more masks, an additional mask is loaded, resulting in a total of three masks. I have already checked the preset effect using Notepad++ and confirmed that the preset only contains two masks. This indicates that the issue is with Premiere Pro's loading process. As a side note, there are no issues when only one mask is used.
Premiere Pro > Settings > Timeline Preferences....ISSUE 1: When I set the "Audio Transition Default Duration" to .01 seconds and click okay, it seems to be saved. If I go back into the settings, it still shows as I saved it. However, if I try and apply the default transition to an audio clip, it applies .02 seconds instead of the .01 seconds I saved. ISSUE 1: When I set the "Audio Transition Default Duration" to 1 frame, the moment I click anything outside of the textfield, it automatically changes the frame number from 1 to 2, so I'm unable to set the "Audio Transition Default Duration"t to 1 frame. However, if I apply the 2 frames to an audio clip, I am able to manually adjust to 1 frame. but the default setting doesnt work. Why this is so important to fixWhen editing on the timelime, I'm still able to manually edit the transition duration from .02 seconds to .01 seconds or 2 frames to 1 frames, but for my current project I have thousands
I edit podcasts that requires subtitles burned into the videos. When I use the create static transcription, my PC restarts randomly. I do nothing in the project waiting for it to complete to only having it restart and try again. I just updated my graphics driver to 560.94 and updated premiere to 24.6. Still having the same issues. Tab key no longer advances through form fields of the Essential Graphics panel. v24.6.0(Build 86) on Windows 11. I think tab navigation in Essential Graphics stopped working a few updates back. 1. Create a shape2. In Essential graphics, numerically change the x position.3. Tab key does not advance to numeric editing of the y position.Previous functionality allowed keyboard tab navigation to cycle through the editable form fields in the Essential Graphics panel. This is an accessibility issue as well as a workflow issue.
Issue - When jumping between sequences (for example while pancake editing), transcripts are slow to load in the text panel. Also, sometimes transcripts won't load at all and the text panel says there is no dialogue present. Transcripts won't reload until preferences are reset. Hi All, I've seen this question asked in previous discussions, but it was never answered. I am exporting Prores 4444, no effects, raw footage and some of my clips are exporting upside down. Everything is normal in the timeline and preview. I've cleared my cache to troubleshoot but no difference. Everything is fine when exporting h.264. MAC Sonoma 14.3.1 Premiere Pro 24.0 Note: Subject edited by moderator.
I've come accross this issue in 24.5. It definitely hasn't been fixed. In an empty Project the Black video isn't created if you do it via the File > New menu. But once you create a Color Matte or the black video via the project bin menu it magically starts to work via the File > New menu as well
Issue with Premiere version 24.6.1 When using a multichannel sequence its export the audios with -3dBFS Another issue is related with custom sequence TC In, in export there is a bug wich mismatch the correct TC IN from sequence. thanks in advance.
