Camera Raw

Hej Adobe! After each upgrade the CameraRAW import reverts back to 8-bit import into Photoshop. I then manually set it to 16-bit, and that works, until the next upgrade when it reverts back to 8-bit. CameraRAW manages to remember my colour profile between upgrades, but the bitdepth-setting is reset to the old default. 

Using ACR 15.4 with Windows 11: As soon as I enter a number into "angle" the crop selection changes to outside the picture. This error does not happen when the angle is changed in a different way (e.g. double click on level tool).

I have been using Expert Raw on my new S23 Ultra and transfered several raw pictures to Lightroom(mobile) and edited them there. But for some reason it wont accept astrophotography photos. They are also in raw file and not even that big of a file. A few was taken with the main 1x camera and a few in 3x camera. But when i try to import them to lightroom i get the message "Failed to import 1 photo"   I asked in other forums for Samsung phones but doesn't seem other people have the same problem.   Any ideas?

When I'm in Bridge and going to "open Camera Raw" for a NEF file, the image freezes and I can't do anything. I have to override and force Bridge to exit through the taskbar. I have updated, downloaded many times and tried the tips online with no success. Help!I like to edit NEF files in the Camera Raw function.

When using the latest version of ACR, I see a popup window which says that in future I will need GPU to operate ACR.  Will I need to buy an eGPU to operate ACR on my iMac 2019?  Will using Lightroom to process my RAW files provide a work-around?

I had to re instal the previous version of Camera Raw to fix the problem.The newest version of Camera Raw gives a delay on the Wacom pen when a photo is being opened from Bridge. It takes about 3 to 5 seconds before the pen is active again when the photo is open in Camera Raw.In version 14.5 there is no problem. ( On Mac )

Bonjour, Je suis abonné au Creative Cloud pour la photo et j'ai installé Camera Raw (cf copie ecran). J'ai un Mac Book Pro 2019 - macOs Ventura 13.6Le problème c'est qu'il n'apparait pas dans le répertoire de mes applications et que donc je n'arrive pas à l'ouvrir. Sur la copie d'écran ci dessous j'ai un icone Ouvrir pour les autres applications Adobe, mais pas pour Camera Raw.  Si quelqu'un peut m'aider ? Par avance merci

I dont want to use File > Scripts > Image Processor option in Photoshop Need to to save JPG images for folder that contains 100 RAW's images, is there way to do it directly in Adobe Camera RAW plugin?If not perhaps inside or Lightroom?

Camera Raw - doesn't work, it's seems to be open but it's invisible (Photoshop)

Hi  Does anyone know if its possible to write an action within camera raw? I have a very repetitive task that would be so much easier with an action. I need to select the exposure brush, create a mask using the select people function, invert the mask and then boost the white slider by +80.  Has anyone got any suggestions? Ideally i dont want to open photoshop. Were selecting in bridge and opening from bridge, photoshop is a bit slow and I need the amends to remain temporary. JPEG files not raw. thanks Sam

I downloaded Camera Raw, - but after installing this (CameraRaw_15_5.dmg), - I can't find this program "Camera Raw" anywhere on my computer. Why?I have try to install it several times. Also restarted my computer, then installed again, - but nothing helps??- So what is wrong?Thank you so much, if you could help me!

 Últimamente estoy reeditando archivos CR2 de hace 10 años o alguno más. Aparte de la interjeción amarilla que aparece en la esquina inferior derecha de la imagen, que desaparece al cliquear sobre ella, cuando cierro antes de abrirse Photoshop me sale el mensaje cuya pantalla he adjuntado.  Después puedo seguir trabajando sin problemas en PS. ¿Qué importancia tiene dicho aviso? ¿Algún riesgo para los archivos terminados de editar tras él y guardados con cualquiera de los formatos posible?Muchas gracias anticipadas   

No puedo abrir ningun tipo de Raw en Photoshop, el programa se queda congelado, ni desde Bridge. Mi unica opción es exportarlos desde Lightroom como objeto inteligente.Tengo las ultimas versiones instaladas a la fecha y mi problema viene desde inicios de año.Adjunto la captura de pantalla hasta donde avanza el programa.Ayuda

I've been watching tutorials for gradients in the CR masking section and they're very helpful except that when I attempt to create one the adjustments the lines disappear as soon as I release the left mouse button. I try and create the gradient and then reposition it, but when the lines disapper there is no reference point with which to grab and drag to new position. I assume it's a 1-click setting change, I've not been able to find it. Any suggentions much appreciated.  Camera Raw15.5.1

Shot three photos on my iPhone in one minute. One hour later, thanks to Google, found out how to import the ProRaw (DNG) files to my PC. Then spent another hour trying to figure out how to open them in Adobe Camera Raw, rather than directly in Photoshop. Apple and Adobe engineers - Cheers mates! I give up. Can someone shed a light here? Is Apple's ProRAW just a Tiff embedded in a DNG or a true RAW format?I want to open them in ACR to disable sharpening and NR. Thank you.

Images not opening from Camera raw to PS.Normaly while in Bridge I double click an image and it opens in camera Raw as it should. I edit it in camera raw and when I go to open it in PS by clicking the "open" button bottom right nothing happens. It just closes down and I'm back in Bridge without my edits being saved, Very frustrating Please help

My apologies, but I can't find my original post.I'm still not able to open photos to PS from Camera Raw.I click "open" and PS opens but no files appear. I'm running  Adobe Photoshop Version: 24.0.1 20221111.r.112 a12a934 x64Bridge v. 13.0.0.562Windows 10.This is quite unacceptable. Is it me?Thank you.

Se trata de archivos CR2  de hace 10 o más años. Se pueden enderezar con la herramienta recortar. Ocurre también con algunos, también antigüos , que al utilizar las herramientas propias de enderezar pierden la horizontalidad con la que se abrieron, y se muestran diagonalmente . ¿Tiene que ver con la antigüedad de los archivos? ¿Indican algún problema a resolver? Muchas gracias anticipadas

I need help please. Camera Raw De-Noise changes the color of my images automatically and I cant figure out why. Any Idease please.

I don’t know whether this is an issue with Photoshop, Adobe Camera Raw, or Bridge but I’ll post it here for comment or discussion. I was processing some CR3 raw image files from a Canon EOS R6 of dancers on stage. They were not my images; I had permission to clean them up to be used for posters and programs. The images were good but grainy. I thought this would be a good application for the new AI Denoise features of ACR. I don’t typically work with DNG files, but that is what the AI Denoise produces. I started with Br and browsed the image files. I opened the file in Camera Raw and applied the AI Denoise. The initial CR3 file was about 22.3 MB in size. The resulting DNG file grew to 532 MB. Not a problem for ACR or my PC. I was able to do a fair amount masking to allow me to darken the background and emphasize the dancers. When done with ACR I wanted to open the file in Ps to do some further editing before exporting the final as JPG files.
