Creative Cloud desktop

Hello everyone,Someone posted this same question a month ago, but no proper explanation was given. I've had installed Adobe cc 2018 for a while now. And just today I noticed "ccxprocess" app appeared on my Mac's Launchpad (the last icon on the below screenshot). It wasn't there before, just appeared sometime in the last few days. I ran a virus scan using Bitdefender, nothing showed up. I tried deleting it using CleanMyMac 3, but it says the program needs to be closed in order to be deleted. I have no way of closing it. Why did it just appear? What's it for? Is it some sort of virus?Does anyone have any insight into this very strange and scary phenomenon? See original discussion here.

Hey,I've been experiencing an issue with Creative Cloud when saving and accessing my files after switching between accounts. I have both a personal and a school account, and lately, I haven't been able to properly load or download my files when switching. So far, this issue seems to only affect Illustrator, as I primarily save Illustrator files to the Cloud, whereas I store files for other apps on my PC. This has happened once before but was eventually resolved on its own. However, the problem has returned, and I’ve noticed that the issue persists even when trying to open these files on other devices. It seems to occur when I switch between accounts multiple times in a short period. Any insights on what might be causing this or how to fix it?Thanks! As shown below, even when the document appears to be fully "loaded," it remains stuck. I have a paid account with a yahoo email username. When I try to run the exe file for any of the apps on my desktop, the Creative Cloud window opens up in an old gmail usernameI had years ago and prompts me to pay for a plan. Can anyone advise how to switch to my new username? I can't access any of the apps because of this glitch and I haven't gotten a resolution through customer service. Thanks!

Hello everyone,Recently I did the update from Win10 pro to Win11 pro, and the Creative Cloud Desktop app won't load the home panel, it only show something similiar to this message: "Loading the app is taking longer than usual. Restart Creative Cloud or restart your computer and try again."After reading this topic (and others similar to this) and after trying every possible solution (cleaning Windows, repairing system files, running CHKDSK, DISM, SFC, running Adobe cleaner tools, cleaning the registry, uninstall C++ distribution, disabling antivirus, etc.), I finally decided to take a closer look at the log file located at:C:\ProgramData\Adobe\UPI\Log\ECML.logIn the log, I noticed the following error:CExtensionManager::updateXManConfigFromCode: Can not find XManConfigThis clearly means the CC Desktop app can't read/write some files through its directories. This led me to suspect that the issue might be related to file permissions on the Adobe folders. hi, I'm using a business account for the adobe creative cloud team. there are two accounts in my account. an account has expired. the other is current. ancxal is logged in with the same mail. I can't get to my library. how can I transfer my library contents between accounts?

Mac Sequoia - 15.3.1.  I was not sure where to post this. It seems I had malware. BackService which was linked to CleverFiles and Disk Drill. I don't ever remenber installing Disk Drilll. I have removed all of those but when I did a spotlight search which showed this ni-NL.json. I followed link to Utilities - Adobe CC and found this. What is all of this Firefox stuff doing in the CC app? Should I delete it all and leave the 3DI folder or get rid of that too?     

as u see in screenshot ACC only showing 2 menu option i tried reinstalletion but still having this issue,whenever i restart my ACC its gives me 501 error,also because of this issue i unble to access my libreries and adobe fonts

Hi I need help, been trying to send emails and crash reports for the past 3 weeks and got no help whatsoever.  I'll layout the problem and what I've tried already. So, first of all, one day Creative Cloud stopped loading my Apps. I tried the "Repair" option, log in, log off. Nothing works. Next step would be to Unistall the App - Well I can't!! When I try to Unistall it says that I have other Apps so it can't be Unistalled. So I try to unistall Premiere Pro, and It won't let me because it opens up Creative Cloud in order to delete it from there, and guess what! The Apps never seem to load.  I don't know what else to do honestly. Also it's worth to mention that I can't even you Premiere Pro because it crushes with an error, I've searched in YouTube and find an option that if you edit the preferences to open up with Windows 8 or something it'd be solved (I have windows 10), And yes it can run the program but is has like input lag and nothing really works.&nb

Can't Save, Save AS, or Save a copy as a jpg since updating 2/24/2025

I have a limit issue on my account, I got a limited access notification.I've tried to fix it using limited access repair software, recommended software from adobebut still the notification appears and I can't install other applications such as adobe lightroom and others.  I have end session for all devices, but I still get LIMITED Access!With this problem, I can't install any application, even though I subscribed to the photography plan for 1 year. This is certainly a loss for me!  I've tried various ways, but I can't fix it, including contacting the agent, but the agent doesn't even respond. Help please.

I recently uninstalled the 2023 versions of some Adobe apps including Bridge (since the 2024 versions were alreadt installed). Now Creative Cloud keeps opening itself up and asking me "Before we uninstall the app, please tell us if you'd like to keep or remove notifactions, alerts, interface settings, plugins and other preferences." Removing preferences may prevent them from being migrated to newer versions of the app."I have tried each of the three options: Cancel, Remove, and Keep to no avail; the app continues to start itself and ask me this. (It did it three times while typing this message, each time switching over to CC and out of this browser window entirely). Needless to say, this is causing some serious issues with me using my computer for any length of time. How do I make this stop?

 My Adobe Creative Cloud App is showing with this red triangle symbol. I assume there is an error that needs resolving. When I open the app, ther is also an arrow symbol on the cloud icon (see below). But there doesnt appear to have any explanation of what the error is and how to fix it! Can anyone help?

Hi, I need to use Adobe After Effects for an assignment.I've used adobe apps before on my laptop and at school computers but on my desktop (Windows 11) I seem to suddenly keep running into problems.First I try installing After Effects independently and keep running into error 206. I go through every solution, including turning off my firewall but nothing works.I get the reccomendation that I install the Creative Cloud app to manage installations and apps through there.I download Creative Cloud completely fine, but now I'm running into error 118 which is strange because my connection is completely fine! Additionally, it seems like the error keeps popping up erratically. I know 118 typically signifies a problem on the users side but this just doesn't seem right. I have a video attatched showing what I'm talking about here. Any help on finally getting After Effects to install so I can do my assignment?

Creative Cloud has been using all my bandwidth for all updates on my Windows 11 laptop for the last 2+ years. Now it has become quite annoying as it makes every other internet connected device unable to function properly. I say now as I have recently moved from Sky TV delivered by satellite to Sky Stream - TV services delivered over the internet. I have a broadband service that, in all other circumstances, more than delivers for my household's needs at average 75 Mbps. Except when Adobe Creative Cloud has updates - when everything else comes to a halt. I've looked in CC's 'Preferences' and there doesn't seem to be any way of limiting updates bandwidth use.  Am I missing something?
