Please bring back the different colors for FX badges, Have it just go from white to grey doesn't tell me at a quick glance what kind of FX are applied. If we could even just have the FX text change color if design doesn't want the box, that is fine too.
Premiere Pro currently displays both Left and Right channels for stereo audio clips in the timeline waveform view. This is often unnecessary and visually cluttered, especially when only one channel is relevant (e.g., dual-mono interview tracks, camera scratch audio, or boom/lav recordings with split tracks).Request:Please add a simple toggle or preference that allows users to hide either the Left or Right channel in the stereo waveform display, or to show just a mono/mixed waveform without needing to collapse the track height or remap channels. Why this matters:It’s difficult to work efficiently with stereo clips that only use one channel.Reducing waveform clutter improves timeline readability and precision.Audio interpretation workarounds are destructive or time-consuming.Collapsing track height is not a viable solution for serious audio work.Ideal Implementation:Right-click clip or track option: “Display Left Only / Right Only / Mix / Stereo”Global preference for default waveform disp
I know there is spell check inside of the text panel, but I wonder if it would be possible to use a service like twelve labs to OCR a full video to spell check everything, even text that is embedded.
I've been playing with CapCut, and I'm extremely confused about how an app can be so powerful. The face retouching, makeup controls, effects, transitions, and more surpass anything I can do with Premiere Pro. I feel like CapCut is the biggest threat to Premiere Pro—I just don't understand how a company as big as Adobe, with its expensive subscription model, can be so far behind. I should be able to open Premiere and find a face retouching tool as easy to use as the one in CapCut. I truly don’t understand how such a young app can be so much more advanced than an industry veteran.
Adding Afrikaans to Adobe Premiere Pro's language transcribe function would greatly benefit a significant user base, particularly in South Africa, where Afrikaans is one of the most spoken languages. This addition would enhance accessibility and usability for Afrikaans-speaking content creators, enabling more accurate and efficient transcription of their projects. It would also reflect Adobe's commitment to inclusivity and global reach, supporting a diverse range of linguistic communities and improving the overall user experience for Afrikaans speakers.
I have a Project with over 100 sequences that was pulled together from multiple projects over time. It is what it is. I am consolidating it using the Project Manager, but there is no search functionality in this interface which makes it very difficult to use. This would be a great improvement to add the ability to search and/or filter sequences here. Seems like a pretty basic feature to add.
The idea is holding space would temporarily switch you to the hand tool and allow scrolling the timeline, and then return to the previously active tool when space is released. This would help my workflow increase in speed a lot, as I work primarily with a Wacom so reducing the time I need to spend switching tools would be a big time saver. For example, while cutting voiceover it would be one keypress to reposition the timeline, as opposed to switch to hand tool, scroll, switch back to razor etc. This adds up quickly to a lot of additional keypresses and also takes me out of the flow for timing things out. Holding space to move timeline is also the behaviour I'm used to from After Effects, where I spend a lot of my time. An alternative would be to add momentary press functionality to the H key instead, as per this post https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro-ideas/give-momentary-keypress-functionality-to-hand-and-zoom-tools/idi-p/13515878 but I think using s
Can we please make a selection tool version of the "Select Forward/Backwards" but it selects everything Up or Down or Up & Down from the cursor. I've tried to see if that's available and haven't been able to find it and it would be so useful. I don't want to have to link or group everything. I don't want to have to mark in and out and do it that way cause it's too time consuming. Tired of having to drag up or down and make sure I didn't miss anything when I want to delete a segment. And when I do drag often times it will deselect stuff at the top or bottom when I drag past the window. (If that makes sense). Can you at least make it so it doesn't deselect stuff that I've already selected just because it's no longer visible in the window.
i like to see arabic langauge embraced by adobe . like speach to text and other means , i spend alot of time using ohter sides to do so . theres nearly i billion people speaking arabic and feel its fair to consdered . thanks
Ya es hora de que adobe aplique una app de subtitulos animados. Hay que recurrir a app externas o realizarlo manual de manera muy engorrosa. Da Vinci principalmente le esta haciendo competencia por que contiene esto, saludos
I am now paying another company $20 a month for access to AI editing features.I take 1-2 hour videos and break them down into Reels. I am using Opus Clip to generate 50 clips (based on subject matter, algorithms, etc). But what bothers me even more is that Opus Clip, TikTok, and Instagram all have Animated Captions that blow away anything you can do in Premiere. I would love for Premiere to have animated clip generation. I may have to leave Adobe (even though I like Premiere) because it's not the best product anymore. Competitors are using AI that kicks its butt.
CC2017 - Win 10How does one save a Preset eg Multi Band Compressor...from the Audio Track Mixer?
Hello everyone! I have been working in Premiere for decades. And I suggest that we come up with something with the design of the program. After version CS6, there was a lot of extra space that is not used in any way.For example, look at how it was in CS6 and how it is used now Let's say if I don't use a microphone and I need to remove the icon, I can't do it, even in manual mode.If I remove the unused space that I marked with red frames, working with the timeline will become even better and more comfortable.💡And another wish. I remember in CS6, when there were a lot of video clips on the timeline, previews were displayed on all videos and you could see which clip was better to move to a particular part of the timeline, but in new versions (for a long time now) this option has disappeared and previews are no longer displayed when the timeline size is reduced. This does not affect the computer's memory. In CS6 I used an older computer than now.
In my workflow recording music (and I suspect for others as well), I record sessions and livestreams as one continuous recording to allow for getting into the flow without constant starting and stopping the recording. It could be a few takes or even dozens but the result of this is almost always that the better takes are toward the end of the resulting clip, not the beginning When I pull the file into Premiere, it has to generate the waveform, but I have to wait for all of the earlier takes in the clips to be processed to see the waveform for what I'm interested in--If I have a 2-3 hour session, this can easily take 5-10 minutes. I would love to have the option to let the waveform get rendered from end to beginning so I can more quickly view to the most recent part of the recording.
When adjusting audio keyframes on the timeline, I'm often moving quite quickly but generally have a good idea of how much I want to adjust a particular point, at current in v25.5 when you grab a keyframe and adjust it up or down the only information it provides is the new value state that would be set once letting go.I think it would be quite useful to also show the offset value from the initial starting point (unless perhaps the initial value is 0db). So for example if the starting value is -7.3db and I drag it up to the -3db position it could show `-3db (+4.3db)` in the tooltip instead of just `-3db` this would update dynamically alongside the current tooltip as you adjust the keyframe. This would make the keyframing workflow a lot smoother as I often know roughly how many db I want to adjust a keyframe by but I'm often working so fast that I don't quite catch the initial value.
Hello Adobe Team,I would like to strongly request an automatic "Watch Folder" feature in Premiere Pro. When users add new media files (video, audio, or still images) to a designated folder on their hard drive, Premiere should automatically import them into the corresponding bin in the project, keeping the project in sync without manual re-importing.Hello Adobe Team,I would like to strongly request an automatic watch-folder feature in Premiere Pro.Currently, when new footage is added to a folder on disk, the bins in Premiere do not update automatically; we have to manually import or refresh in the Media Browser, which is cumbersome. A built-in watch folder system would allow users to designate a monitored folder, similar to third-party plugins like Watchtower. New files would be automatically synchronized into the project, with options to merge image sequences and other advanced settings. This feature would be extremely helpful for documentary work, long recording sessions, and collabora
When exporting multiple files, we can batch change the location but not the file names. When having multiple exports for different resolutions or ratios, dynamic naming using placehoders would be great. This could be possible by using placeholders directly in the sequence name (e.g. Sequence-1_%SeqName%) which gets replaces on export (maybe also through a command "replace wildcards in project") or during export with naming presets that can be applied. On naming conflicts, these exports could be grayed out with a warning symbol, still allowing manual changes. Placeholders that would be great are: Sequence nameResolutionAspect RatioFrame rateFrame count/Durationany (custom) Metadata fieldCustom prefix/suffix Especially batch exports would benefit from this.
I would like Premiere to render clips automatically when my computer is idle. Maybe with some priority settings.
Hello, The transcript option doesn't have the language Hinglish where the spoken word is hindi and the script is in English. Also, it is an amalgamation of Hindi and English and editors have to use multiple AI tools to get desired results. This feature will highly benefit creators in India.
Hello community,Hope you’re all doing well! I was wondering if anyone knows (I’ve already tried to look it up) whether there’s an option in Premiere to add a shortcut for navigating between folders, similar to how you can do it on Apple computers with "Command + Up/Down Arrow". I find that option super useful and quick to jump from one folder to another without having to click multiple times, as I currently do in Premiere when navigating through folders (videos, audio, graphics, etc.).Does anyone know if this is possible? It could save a ton of time by the end of the year. Thank you very much,Jose
First, I’d like to say thanks for the recent updates! The focus on performance, stability, and small long-overdue improvements has really made a difference. The UI feels smoother, and it’s great to see more transparency around the development process. That said, as a daily Premiere Pro user (and freelancer who often works across different teams and clients), I’ve collected a few requests over the past months that I think would improve workflow and performance even further: Background LoadingDon’t always load every sequence in the background. If I only have one sequence open, performance shouldn’t be bogged down by other sequences I have in a project.Graph EditorIntroduce a more advanced graph editor, again similar to After Effects, for better animation control. Sequence ScalingAllow easy scaling up a sequence while maintaining all proportions, similar to how it works in After Effects. SVG SupportProper support for .svg files in Premiere Pro. Even if real rasterization is n
It would be extremely useful to be able to keyframe the controls in Premiere Pro for a MOGRT (Motion Graphic Template) created in After FX. I create a template in AFX, add it to CC libraries, I can import this into Premiere and adjust the controls, but I can't keyframe them. This would take the power of MOGRT's to a whole new level.I have extensively documented the process I'm trying to do here: https://forums.adobe.com/thread/255599
It is rather common for people to post on the forums about "known issues" ... why isn't there a link to the "known Issues" web page in Premiere's menu system? Probably on the Help menu list. It would save a LOT of forum time!
Would love to be able to export my 4K DCP straight from my NLE rather than deal with the workaround of free third party software. Seems like a pretty common format for delivering to digital projection theaters these days!
Currently, the only way to delete transitions is to zoom in and manually, carefully select them, one at a time, while holding SHIFT, and then pressing delete. It would be far easier to just be able to select clips normally, and then hit one key that only deletes the transitions on those clips, while leaving everything else intact.Technically, the Palette Gear does have this feature (they put it in at my request) but that's the only way to get it, currently. This is item #5 in my spreadsheethttps://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1dVJb7kI_ZETLavrplfARgn9gL8HUpvkq6A0jCPxqA3w/edit#gid=1133868629
