Lightroom offers advanced AI-driven features like auto-editing, culling, and stacking. My aim is to use Lightroom as my sole program for reviewing and editing local photos, eliminating the need for both Adobe Bridge and Lightroom. Here are the Lightroom features I need to fully switch from Adobe Bridge: Allow adjustment of the Info Panel (I) width, similar to how we can resize the Photos Panel (P). Make it possible to display the filmstrip across the entire bottom of Lightroom while keeping both the Info Panel and the Photos Panel open, mirroring the modular panel functionality in Adobe Bridge. Improve the display of long filenames when viewing local files in Zoom mode (spacebar), possibly by showing the full name underneath the photo. Support importing local folder structures (and their photos) into Albums. Enable exporting the Cloud Albums folder structure (and photos) locally without relying on the destructive Archive Folder Locally feature. Provide "Stacks" functionality for local photos. Allow the Navigation Bar to be hidden. Add a menu option and hotkey to apply crops and edits directly to local photos, enabling destructive saving (overwrite the original photo).
Use gen fill to give multiple renders in one prompt or one click of a button , one for every angle. The same way Adobe illustrator has the option to generate every angle from the turntable feature. This is helpful for me as it give me the option to see the angle I wanted and see other that may work but had not been considered.
I'm a tablet user and I can't use Photoshop Web because it's not customizable enough for my needs. I need to put icons in specific places because otherwise the pop-up windows, like the layers window, take up too much space. I'd like the interface improved in that area.
Source clip effects are a great feature but very difficult to work with. For one there's no way to tell in the project panel/bins if sources have an effect applied, unless it's visually very obvious in thumbnail view. There should be an indicator like a red line under the media icon in list view, and a badge in thumbnail. Also very limited working with groups of clips when the only option is to right click and choose "disable source clip effects". Should at least have the option to enable them as well, but also why not a popup like when pasting/removing attributes on the timeline? On that note, it used to be easy to at least identify clips in the timeline with source effects, as the fx badge would have a red underline. The underline is no longer red, and is barely distinguishable without leaning in to look closely:No fxWith fx
In the 3D World, there's this concept of "Set Project" or setting the project and I would love to see this feature added to Premiere! At any given time we are working on 8-12 different projects that get split among our editors. We have shifted to using Productions for most of our work, so this has helped some, but I still would love to be able to click File/Set Project so that whichever project I am working on at the time links correctly to all of the media, assets, and shared cache paths. This concept may seem unecessary for most people, but it's a nightmare for someone that has to pop into different projects located on different servers. We have moved a lot of projects, or even recently we changed where some of our assets live within our folder structure, and everytime I open a project I need to relink files. If I cold open Premiere and previously I was in Production A, but I clicked on a file to open Production B, it will open Premiere, then open Production A, then attempt to bring Production B file into Production A. "Set Project" Would fix this, and solve a few other problems that would be extremely beneficial. When I go to archive a project, or clean it out, I find things from other productions (usually cache files and auto saves) that will pop in one production when they should be in another production, Kind of similar, the locate offline media, is a pain when a project has been moved from one server to another. I do like that you only need to link one video file and all of the sibling video files will auto locate, but then I need to go into so many other folders to link one file so it can pick up the rest in that same folder. Again, if there was a "Set Project" I'm just setting the local or relative path of the project, so it knows where all of my assets should be./ServerA/ProjectOne/VIDEO - if moved to /ServerB/ProjectOne/VIDEO - then 'set project' the only thing that has changed is which server the project lives on Why do i need to go into every path to find/relocate my files, if all of my projects are structured pretty much the same, ASSETS, AUDIO, VIDEO, EXPORTS, etc....if those are all common...then it should be be easy to change the server location on all paths in the project/ServerC/myContent/Project417/subProject8/ASSETS/MoGRTs/bugs/xy_ab_pointyThings_V04_jm_mt.mogrt(Very real path with redacted names) by setting the project path, this should eliminate having to do this for hundreds of 'offline' files within a project. then I might be left with one or two true files that cannot be found, or were linked to someones desktop instead of the server location. I spent a couple hours the other day looking at numerous projects that I had to open, relink 300 files just to see if this was the correct project or not. (projects from years ago- we know what to look for in the timeline, but finding the correct project with the correct timeline is the key). Set Project would have changed this 4 hour task into maybe 30 minutes or less I would love to see this in a future release.Does anyone else think they could benefit from something like this?
Hi,Can we get a proper color palette that can stay open, that is much more functional, like you see in C4D?A completely different tab, that artist can keep open all the time? I am surprised that there isn't one already.A long time using. It has been a drag! Thanks,B
I'm looking for a general corporte office background video to loop for a simple org announcement. I use the filters for finding the right one, but one filter that does not exist would be for camera movement. I need something static but most of the stock videos of offices I find have the camera slowly panning.
When creating moodboards the mosaic tool is great but it'd be great if you could set the artboard or shape you want the mosaic to fit to. i.e widescreen so the images all fall nealty into the space
Hello, I'm just curious to know how many years we will wait, if that day will come, to see the option to cull (browse/zoom/compare) the photos before to import them in the library. If I'm thinking at how many years we waited to see the just the LABELS in Lr... Please Adobe, also if you're earing much more money from the consumers take care for the professionals.
Hi all, Either I have found a missing feature, and/or i'm missing an option that lets 'you' select for 'marker based editing'. Let me clarrify: I've let premiere transcribe multiple interviews (great!, also unrelated), than while having the usefull qoutes selected in the text (this step conveniently and very related: also creates an In and Out point on the time line simultaniously). Next I make a marker (shortcut M). Next I label the marker + add optional info to the marker etc. I was unaware there's Premiere Pro doesn't allow for the marker to have additional workflow function, which to me seems crazy (knowing premiere workflows I was baffeled it isn't there - so still hoping I'm wrong and missing a switch somewhere (!!!)). Sure it's my mistake, because I've had an oversight in my desired workflow (this worked while testing, because the initial selection was still active and I not moved back to multiple markers to test). So the next step is where my workflow fails and a possible feature request begins: So what I would like to achieve next is: select the In and Out of any or multiple marker(s) and past this/these in a new timeline (basicly marker based editing?). This would also be fixed if selecting the marker would automatically do the In and Out selection (the text panel does, as described above). While leaving it at a single marker selection, getting the marker to select the (same) In and Out point by selecting the marker, would allow for copy-pasting a single selection and resolve this, allowing for my desired workflow. This would allow for marker based selection / editing. The workaround for now is to have snapping active for the sequence, move the timeline-playhead to beginning of the marker (select In) move the timeline-playhead to the end of the marker (select Out) and than copy-paste. So I'm good for now, but it would be priceless to have the marker selected, making it copy-paste-able. Again I wouldn't be shocked if it is possible already, cause I was under the impression impression one would be able to furthwer utilize the marker information within Premiere. Couldn't find this in any other post, but imagine I'm not the only one noticing its abscense. Have a nice day! Best, Jeroen
For Firefly speech, there needs to be a better breakdown of phonetics for names. Its a lot of work to get it just right, and almost impossible to change the emphasis on different syllables. Perhaps it should be able to use the univeral diacritics (like ü, ǔ, ʌ, or ə).
Please put the Prin files in their own dedicated folder, so the Project folder gets less messy.
When searching for a specific file or clip name in the Project Panel (for example, typing “whoosh”), Premiere Pro still shows the entire folder structure even for folders that do not contain matching results. This makes it harder to quickly locate what you are looking for, especially in large projects with deeply nested bins and sound libraries.Suggestion:Add an option to hide folders that do not contain matching results when using the search bar in the Project Panel. For example, show only:Matching clipsThe folders (bins) that directly contain those clips or just the clips onlyThis would make searching much cleaner and faster, especially for sound designers, editors, and anyone working with large projects. Please consider adding this in a future update!
Please make this a thing!! Rendering a FRONT or LEFT viewport would be a nice add to the UI...
would be great for firefly to better understand VFX and compositing context and be able to deliver generated passes from photo or video, i.e, depth, height, normal, bump, AO, roughness, etc. Kole Lugar - MAX25
Hello, how are you? Please we'd like to request to add option to multilanguage transcription, autodetected if possible, and button to generate transcription and caption directly. Also please include brand names to recognition. Thanks a lot,Nicolas
Looking at many comments on the Internet, updating software (e.g. Premiere Pro, Medie Encoder) consumes all available bandwidth. I have a 35Mb/s link and while updating, Adobe uses all the bandwidth and all other network activity grinds to a frustrating halt. My router cannot adjust the bandwidth. It does not support QOS, but even if it did, it does not make sense to penalise all network activity for something that could easily be implemented in the Creative Cloud app. Please can a throttle of some kind, similar to the one Windows has, be implemented so that software updates do not interfere with other network activity?Kind regardsGareth
How do I display file names in grid display for the cloud based Lightroom CC on my desktop? I see how to do this on the mobile version, but I'm not having any luck on the desktop one. ThanksSteve
I would propose to either change or remove the presentation option in LR mobile. I presume it is meant to show pictures as a kind of slideshow or comparable to a photoframe but showing pictures at a rate of 60 pictures a minute does have an unhealthy impact on the human brain. If you look at pictures changing every second you will get overstimulated, and it may cause headaches and sleeping problems. That has been proven in psychological studies. Please make this option 'presentation' presentable in a way photos can be enjoyed again
When working with many sequence or chapter markers in Adobe Premiere Pro, it’s very easy to accidentally click on a marker in the timeline. Every time this happens, the playhead instantly jumps to that marker’s position. It would be great if Premiere offered an option in the preferences or timeline settings to disable automatic playhead movement when clicking on markers. For example, clicking a marker could simply select it without changing the current playhead position. This small change would make working with large projects and detailed marker setups much smoother and less frustrating. Thank you
