Problem: When I export more than 11 photos, my computer will be slowed down significantly. This might not be a problem, when I export just one folder, but in order to separate photos from an event of different people, I need to start several export processes and also have to wait for them to finish. Additionally, I cannot work on anything else. I usually have a lot of photos around 20.000 to 60.000 in one catalog. They are distributed/organized in several folder by date and by events. My usual process is to import all my photos, sort them, discard them, edit every photo, export those in different folders. An export of around 1000 photos (32MP) can take around 1/2 hour up to 1 hour easily. I want my computer to work on them, when I don't use it. I have a decent computer (AMD Threadripper 24 cores, 64GB RAM, NVMe SSD 2T, NVIDIA Geforce RTX 2060 Super), which needs to work on 45MP Photos in RAW. What I need and probably other users as well: I need to queue an export process. By queueing, I mean initiate an export, put it into a queue and immediatly pause it. I need to have the ability to queue several exports. I need to have the ability to start executing the queue, when I'm done working on all my photos. For example, when I go to bed. I need to have the ability to restrict the amount of executed tasks in the queue. On task means sequential processing. More than 1 means parallel processing. Solution: Lightroom really needs a Queue Management System! Every Process uses this System and you can configure it with settings like: How many Tasks / Processes should run in parallel? Which processes are allowed to run in parallel? Which processes should run sequentially? Which processes should be enqueued on default? Is there a timer, which can start all processes in the queue on it's own at a certain time? (For example, the queue gets executed at midnight) You should be able to move processes in front or in the back! You should be able to priorities tasks (CPU power) You should be able to priorities tasks (order in the queue) When Lightroom shuts down, the queue has to have a backup! Therefore, you can resume every task after a crash or a needed shutdown after an update or a general restart! Every process should be pausable, resumable, cancelable or restartable! There should be a history of all tasks executed! Every Task should be editable (Editing the list a file been exported, deleted, converted, etc.) I probably could go on for the features, but this is really basic stuff and this was already implemented in many programs handeling files. Lightroom isn't any different, but it really is unpleasent, when working with it when files are touched!
Talk about subjects which may have made up words like names for creatures and then attempting to transcribe these words is frustrating as Premire doesn't know the words and will give a horrendous guess at what it thinks it heard. Instead allow us to add words to premiere's vocabulary before transcribing so it knows what those words are when it hears them. Transcribing 1 hour of commentary only to then realise premiere had been continiously transcribing any non-dictionary word in to a terrible guess to the point it even transcribed swear words and slurs. Allow us to input custom words to add to premiere's vocabulary before transcribing so it transcribes made up words for example name of a creature in a video game.
This one is kind of related to this feature request: But I miss this feature not only for clips but entirely and especially for timelines. It would be a great additional quality of life feature that reduces multiple steps to only one and make Premiere more keyboard friendly. At the moment it looks like this:I add a marker I split the marker I drag drop the marker end point to the desired position (or set the timecode in the marker popup window)Splitting the marker is only possible by either mouse (alt+click) or the marker popup window where you can set the duration.A command that would take io/out markers as an orientation would be only one step. The other way around would be useful for getting a range you want to export without the need to:Navigate to the range marker start point Set in marker Navigate to the range marker’s end point (of course that can only be done with mouse if you want it to snap to the exact point as the “go to next marker” command ignores the end points of range markers) Set out markerInstead it should be either a command in the context menu or take the marker that’s at the moment under the playhead (and ignore it if there are overlapping ranges) Seems like a little feature but makes a big difference if you extensively work with range markers.
I really want to copy and paste pictures like a clipboard
[Moderated edited subject line] Hi there, There have been some more accessible anamorphic lenses coming out, and my work bought a couple of them. The video comes out of the camera as 3840x2160, but it's a 1.6x aspect ratio. Currently Premiere can interpret 1.5, but not 1.6, so I end up having to place all of the footage on a timeline and adjust the scale to the right proportions. It would be great if Premiere could add 1.6 in the interpreting panel, so I can continue to use the source monitor as my rushes selection, and not need everything down in the timeline to go through it. It also makes match frame annoying to use. Thanks!
Why don't you help us out and incorporate logic inside of Lightroom “auto” to disable vibrance and saturation adjustment on profiles other than your native profiles like Adobe Color and Adobe Standard. The vibrance and saturation adjustment for “auto” was designed to work only with the color matrices of your native profiles. This may not seem like a big deal to you but you try having to click a preset that sets vibrance and saturation to 0 1500 times. No this is not something I do this is something every single one of your users does that's using a camera matching profile or calibrated profile other than your native profiles. Over and over and over and over and over and over again thousands of times. Thank you!
This video and photo is a comparison between the Ripple edit tool in Premiere 2026 and 2024.I do like the new way you see the clip change in real time as you drag the edges left and right, but I hate when you’re grabbing the second clip and wanting to extend or decrease the size of it, you can’t see a visual preview of how much it will change that Pr24 does show with that blue bounding box.Basically I’d like the real time increase/decreasing of the clip AND a bounding box to appear when changing the length so you know how much it’ll be altered. It’s crazy how much it feels like guesswork when using Premiere 2026 to decrease a clips length using Ripple.

Many years ago, I did a request on the now-defunct AE uservoice for the opposite of a ‘guide layer’ - a ‘render only’ layer, for this situation:If I have an effects-heavy adjustment layer that I don’t want to preview because it’s so slow, I’ll turn it off in my comp. Then when I’m happy, I’ll set the comp to render. I’ll then check that exported .mov/mp4/etc, and get annoyed because I then realise that I forgot to turn that adjustment layer back on before I set it rendering, so I then have to do another render.Sound familiar? If we could set a layer to “render only”, then it would remain turned off until we did the final render. The exact opposite of a Guide Layer.Let’s get this upvoted and implemented (after all these years!!).This is along the lines of an age-old question from this forum:
bfarklı sesler olmalı kendi sesimizi klonlayıp kulanmalıyız. ayrıca 40 dakikadır bir sahneyi yapamıyorum gemini omli flas sesini beğebdim ve filim yapmaya çalışıyorum asla oluşmayan sahneleri öyle bekliyorum büyük bir sorun bu zaman kaybı
I use Lightroom Classic for high-volume professional photography and regularly cull several thousand images in a session. My workflow is to remain in the Develop module with the Crop tool permanently active. I move rapidly through images using the Filmstrip, adjusting the crop where required before moving immediately to the next image.I use Lightroom's Secondary Display on a calibrated 27" monitor, which displays the current image full-screen. This means the large central image area in Develop on my MacBook is largely redundant, what I actually need on the primary display is the Develop controls and a much larger thumbnail Filmstrip.Currently the Filmstrip can only be dragged upwards to a fairly restrictive maximum height. It would be extremely useful if Lightroom allowed the Filmstrip to be resized much further, or offered a Develop workspace consisting primarily of a large thumbnail browser plus Develop controls when Secondary Display is active. As a real-world example, my normal workflow can involve reducing around 5,000 images to 250 finished, cropped and edited photographs in approximately six hours. Larger thumbnails would materially improve the speed and accuracy of that workflow.
Dear Adobe Lightroom Team, I am writing to complain about a long-standing issue with Lightroom Mobile on Android: imported photographs are displayed from the last shot to the first shot by default. For photographers working through an actual shoot, this is backwards. If I photograph a sequence from image 001 through image 500, I expect Lightroom to show me 001 first and allow me to work forward through the shoot chronologically. Instead, Lightroom shows the newest photograph first, forcing me to select Reverse Order. The bigger problem is that Lightroom does not provide a proper global preference to make chronological, oldest-to-newest sorting my permanent default. I have been dealing with this behaviour for a very long time, and having to repeatedly reverse the order is an unnecessary frustration in an otherwise excellent mobile photography workflow. I specifically use Lightroom Mobile/Cloud and do not want Lightroom Classic to be the solution. Lightroom Mobile should be capable of remembering how a photographer wants their photographs displayed. Please add a global setting such as: Default Photo Sort: - Oldest to Newest- Newest to Oldest Once selected, that preference should remain consistent across albums, imports, All Photos, and future Lightroom Mobile sessions unless the user deliberately changes it. This seems like a very small preference to add, but for photographers processing entire shoots in capture order, it would make a significant difference to the Lightroom Mobile experience. Thank you for considering this request. Respectfully, Adrian
Now I am fairly new to premiere so I believe ‘Bins’ are source folders to source monitor content from. *Correct me if I am wrong*However, these are not ‘Active’. Meaning if you add content into let's say a ‘_Footage’ folder within a Project folder and have that as a ‘bin’ in your project it won't update as you build/compile that folder locally. This is quite disruptive.Ideally a folder you create that contains all your potential source material in one folder should be ‘Active’ inside your Projects panel. As you build that folder you should automatically be able to source monitor those added files. This turns sequences into new compositions all accessing the same source material within the program within a single project.
I work on podcasts that are recorded online, and take each speaker and put them through Enhance Speech.Once their audio has been processed, I have no way of finding when each guest speaks without referring to the raw files again. It would be great to have an indication of when each guest speaks, via a visible waveform within Enhance Speech, just so I don’t have to go back and check every time. This way I can quickly find when they speak, and adjust the settings to their audio :)Thanks!
Your latest update which I wish I hadn't updated to has removed the choose your best photo feature on mobile Android devices. It wasn't perfect, but it was a good place to start my editing process.
Hi Adobe Team,I would like to request a dedicated default compression setting for TIFF files inside the Photoshop Preferences menu (ideally under File Handling). The Problem:Currently, Photoshop relies on "sticky memory" to remember the last used TIFF options (like choosing "None" for uncompressed). However, this memory frequently breaks or fails to stick. When this happens, users are forced to manually check "None" every single time they save a file, slowing down production workflows. Why Current Workarounds Don't Work:The standard troubleshooting advice is to "Reset Photoshop Preferences." This is an unacceptable solution for a simple sticky-menu bug. Resetting preferences wipes out customized workspaces, custom tool presets, and custom brushes, forcing the user to rebuild their entire environment from scratch.Proposed Solution:Please add a dropdown menu in Preferences > File Handling called "Default TIFF Compression" with the options:None (Uncompressed) LZW ZIP JPEG By locking this into the actual app preferences, users wouldn't have to rely on brittle sticky memory, and it would completely eliminate this recurring issue.Thank you for considering this upgrade!
Would like the ability to sort and Keep Folders on Top.
It would be great to have an option in Lightroom to use the metadata Title field as the exported filename. For photographers who publish images online, this would make it much easier to use meaningful, SEO-friendly filenames directly from Lightroom, without having to rename files after export. I think it could save quite a bit of time in many workflows.
I think I may have suggested this many years ago, but it's worth another go:What are the chances of seeing a character/paragraph style palette in AE? I'm sure I'm not alone in finding the method of copying/pasting a bit of text from a "desired" style into a new text layer, before deleting it and pasting/typing some unformatted text, so it matches the desired style. With the introduction, some time ago, of the ability to access text styles/fonts/etc via scripting/expressions, I'd have thought it wouldn't be too hard to implement an InDesign/Illustrator character style palette. Wouldn't that be nice? (I know I could probably do this using mogrt templates and things, but that's an awkward and time-consuming workaround).
Workflow is key. A big obstruction at the moment is when wanting to assess transitions over a composition there is no way to select either a clip or a selection of clips and be able to preview entry, exit or cross. A simple toggle icon in the effects panel is all you need, when selecting the clips you desire to preview you could simply toggle an icon ‘In’ ‘Out’ ‘X’, then playback desired area and this will show the user how the transitions affect the composition. It also allows for quickly noting what transition works where.Effect controls should also reflect this feature and be able to apply changes across selected clips.Ideally a master preview selectable icon could allow for time durations to be selected based on the users needs.
Premiere 2026 projects cannot be downgraded for import to PR 2026 or earlier due to changes in the 2026 project data structure. Recent discussions about this have not yet been ported to the new forum. The primary previous feature request is here, but may be missing some interim posts. Also, it was primarily an explanation for how to use the non-Adobe methods for changing the project file version number. https://community.adobe.com/feature-requests-730/open-premiere-project-in-older-version-downgrade-project-version-1329162?postid=1329162#post1329162 At a minimum, there needs to be a method for downgraded a PR 2026 project to 2025. A longer term issue is the need, for years, for a more robust converter or for the After Effects procedure for doing a “save as” from a later PR version to some number of earlier versions. January 26, @hellopaul4 started a thread titled “Has version "2026" killed the ability to downgrade a project to a previous version?” The most important reply was by @Fergus H: “We are considering options for backwards compatibility, but we have nothing to announce at this time.We haven’t intentionally prevented downgrading tools from working with Premiere v26. As you likely know, those tools only change the internal version number without modifying the project data itself. However, in v26, the project data structure has changed significantly – largely due to the new Object Mask feature. Because of this, a v26.x file that has had its version number changed cannot be parsed correctly by v25.x or earlier, leading to the crashes or error messages you encountered.Fortunately, there is a simple remedy for your current situation: you can open the project created in the v26.x beta directly in the shipping version of v26.0. The file formats are identical, so you can move your work out of the Beta environment without needing to downgrade the file.” As Fergus says, The official Adobe recommendation for downgrading is XML export:https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/using/backward-compatibility.html However, when I tested, XML export/import was not working for me on Win 11. My reply in that thread included:“I tested this, and trying to open a PR 26.0.0 XML export in PR 25.6.4 crashes, as it does if creating a new project and importing it. It did import to a new project in 24.6.5, and, once saved there, I could open the PR 24 version in 25.6.4.”I have not retested this. Stan
