I have been rendering with the vimeo preset for many years, over many versions of Premiere Pro. Recently I uploaded a video rendered from Premiere version 24 that would not display correctly on vimeo. The video was enlarged and cropped into the center. The vimeo tech support determined that VR video metadata was tagged to the render. I opened the video panel in the vimeo render preset and...voila! Sure enough, VR video was enabled. Once turned off, the new render and upload worked exactly as expected. Why is VR video enabled now, as the vast majority of videos are NOT VR?
I understand why Adobe chose to go the subscription route. You want to generate consistent income. As it was, we used to only upgrade our Creative Suite when absoultely necessary, since we didn't need most of the "new" features that were being released. The problem is that your packages are basically one or all. The price for the subscription is not too terrible, but we simply don't use most of the applications available in the full package. You are using the subscription model to generate income to do R&D for apps that we never use. All we need are Acrobat Pro, Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop. The rest are never touched! It would be great if Adobe would create a separate package for commercial print shops that only include those applications for a reduced cost. Additionally, offering bulk license discounts would be awesome. As it is, you charge more for the Teams option. I do understand that it offers some benefits, but the cost far outweighs the additional benefits, for us. Just as a FYI, nearly 50% of the files being submitted to us from our customers are coming from Canva. You are driving users away with your pricing. I still remember when Quark was the dominate player in the market.
So it turns out that the licence for Creative Cloud "All Apps" does not contain all apps.It really should be renamed to Creative Cloud "Some Apps" since there are lots missing and this is misleading.
I think it should be removed because: 1. The config is LUT based so is less accurate than the analytical implementation. 2. Due to the many LUTs required the installation size is 430Mb. If 1.2 config is removed only ~100kb remains. 3. ACES Reference Gamut Compression is only available in the OCIOv2 configs. 4. OCIOv2.x has long superseeded v1 with more flexibility. 5. ACES 2.0 is around the corner and will cause 5 total entries to the OCIO config list for just ACES as color management option. ACES 1.2 ACES 1.3 Studio ACES 1.3 CG ACES 2.0 Studio ACES 2.0 CG This is way too much imo. ACES 1.3 should remain there for legacy reasons. The DRT is completely different and many productions may linger for a bit more on 1.3 once 2.0 has arrived. But we don't need 1.2 there anymore for a long time already. For projects created with the pre-installed ACES 1.2 configuration a message should pop up that this config is depricated along with a link to where it can be manually downloaded from to be loaded into AE via custom path.
It would be nice to have this plan for those who use The Big Three a lot without haveing to pay for all the others apps. I'm currently using the Adobe Illustrator plan, and it feels so limited. Without Photoshop, I can't edit my photos, and without InDesign, I can't make a nice layout. Please consider this idea in the future to atrract potential customers.
I have been a long-time user of Adobe Creative Suite, but the increasing cost has become unbearable. As a creative professional, I rely on these tools daily, but the subscription fees are simply too high. It’s frustrating that Adobe continues to raise prices without offering more affordable options for freelancers and small businesses.Due to this, I’ve decided to switch to Affinity Design software. They offer a more budget-friendly alternative without compromising on quality and functionality. It's disappointing to see Adobe pricing out loyal customers, but I can no longer justify the expense. I hope Adobe reconsiders their pricing strategy in the future.
Final Cut 7 had that. That way we can meassure the duration of a certain section of our timeline.
Please add Hydra viewport support to connect 3d party renders inside Substance Painter such Arnold, Render Man etc. (like alredy done in Substance Designer)Render inside SP using production render would be great benefit.
Lightroom CC on the Mac allows access to external storage devices. Adobe, please allow external storage device access for Lightroom on the iPad! That would make this the perfect mobile photo solution. Right now the only option is to import the files to the iPad photo ecosystem before they can be brought into Lightroom. I have many thousands of photos on external drives (many with camera raw edits) that I would like to access directly like I can on the Mac version.
Can we have have pixel snap in Painter. For example I have an asphalt texture and want to place some decals , dash painted line or manhole. Can we do it with pixel precision ? To scale it to be say exactly 400 pixels and scale around specifically placed center of transforms like in Photoshop and then say move exactly 20 pixels right or left ? I can do it in Designer with pixel processor but never managed to make it work with sbsar imported to Painter and whatever I try to composite in Painter always get sort of extra blur due to lack of pixel snap. It shouldn't be that much of a trouble really . Evry image editor can do it . Please Adobe, add this option.
The manual focus is an awesome feature since for some insane reason Apple decided to omit a manual focus even on the Pro model iPhones that are supposed to be for high end photo and video work. However, the green outlines in the manual focus mode in the Lightroom Camera capture are horrendous, distracting, and usually makes me shoot out of focus because the outlines don't do a good to help job dialing in focus. GIVE US THE ABILITY TO DISABLE THE GREEN OUTLINES PLEASE
Hi, I welcome the "Accessible Color Contrast" mode and use it in After Effects because without it feels to have way too little contrast for text/icons compared to previous UI design. What I really struggle with in Premier Pro though is the fact that row lines are accentuated too much making it actually harder to read imo because the lines distract you. It would be nice to adjust this to match the appearance of the Accessible Color Contrast from After Effects instead for the project panel and Effect Controls window.
Libraries in InDesign and Illustrator should give me the option to choose which page of a multipage PDF I want to place in my document from the library. I have a multipage PDF that has different variations of a logo on each page. For example, page one has black text and solid art for a light-colored background, page two has white text and solid art for a dark-colored background, page three has transparency for light backgrounds, page four has transparency for dark backgrounds, etc. I created it this way because Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign all give me the option to pick which page to link when I choose “Place Linked.” Unlike InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator don’t give me “Object Layer Options” like InDesign does so the only way I can have one file for all logo variants is to put each variant on its own page. When I add the logo to my Bridge library, it seems to lock the multipage PDF to the first page only. When I drag the logo from my library to my InDesign document or Illustrator, it appears to be permanently locked to the first page. Only Photoshop asks me which page I want to place when I bring a multipage PDF from libraries into my document. When I place the multipage PDF from my library into my InDesign or Illustrator document, I should be given the choice of what page I want (like Photoshop does).
Would be nice if Photoshop was like Illustrator and InDesign when you update a link, all other links update. For example... I have to redo the folder structure of files in Explorer and move all linked elements to another folder layer.... when I open said PSD and it calls for missing link when packaging, I can relink to new location and Photoshop will see and update the rest.
I decided to give Premiere Pro another chance after using Davinci for the last two years. But a big feature that seems to be missing from Premiere is still the ability to click on any clip in your timeline and trim either the start or end of it to the playhead. To do this currently, you have to have track targeting turned on for the specific clips, but this is a lot of fuss compared to being able to simply highlight the particular clips you want. I do this all the time in Davinci, so for it not to be a feature here in Premiere is a real shame 😔 I hope the Adobe team add this in the future.
For Lightroom (not classic) I would love the ability to create a smart album for any photos missing location information, so I can quickly identify photos that I must add location information too.
Please add mesh opensubdiv smoothing inside SP. (and in USD mesh importing)
Bulgarian language in transcribing will be soo useful for my job!
Someone else suggested this back in 2017, but no traction. Note how many menu items I never use on the layer right click:I've NEVER used those options. Can we vote for the ability to customize it the same as the application menus? I'm getting old and my eyes are getting worse, so I have trouble seeing the options. It would be great too if the customize interface would show a preview of the current menu you are modifiying. I like to put colours on my most frequently used items.
I would like to express my interest in the ability to create books using Lightroom Mobile on my iPad. However, I am not particularly satisfied with the Blurb app due to its limited layout options. It is inconvenient to constantly switch between apps or have to export photographs. Currently, I rely on Lightroom Classic on my M2 MacBook Pro for book creation. However, with the introduction of the iPad Pro M2, there is no longer a speed advantage to using the laptop. In situations where I am away from home and shooting, I rarely bring my MacBook along. It would be incredibly helpful to have the capability to start laying out my books during my return flight. I kindly request the addition of Blurb book creation to the Lightroom iOS version, particularly on the iPad. If you require inspiration, I recommend taking a look at the exceptional iOS version of the desktop publishing app, Publisher by Affinity.
UDIM approach requires same sized textures but often we need just slices from a big master image. For example I need to crop a thin narrow 32x2048 stripe texture from 2kx2k master document. An asphalt texture and painted line in the center . Right now I had to export 2kx2k master material and then cut manually 32x2048 painted line from it . Would be nice to do it directly in Painter
Wrap projection scale option does work always around this gizmo placed in the center. it's not really convenient for a number of things. For precise positioning especially . Would be much easier if we can put a center of transforms first in 2d view and scale around it.
Adobe Team,I’d love to see an iPhone and iPad version of Audition to support audio recording and light editing in field. Perhaps this app could interface with some of the multitrack digital recorders on the market or Adobe could release its own awesome control surface for their apps similar to LoupeDeck.
