Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

Quick question what is the process for ensuring the synchronization of presets across LR and LR mobile?   I previously had hundreds of presets I collected which we synched across both platforms.   I have since then done a massive clearout on LR to approx 20 or 30 I use regularly, however, on LR mobile there are still the hundreds, which I can delete 1 by 1 but that will take forever.   I always thought that LR was the master and would synch with LR mobile as there is no way to mass delete?

I was exporting videos normally on Lightroom until a few minutes ago. I just finished exporting one video and when I started to export the new one, Lightroom is like exporting the video forever the loading bar is not advancing anymore and it is now happening everytime I try to export a video even one I've already exported before! Anyone can help? I have a deadline and I'm desperate! Video files appear like in the attached image.

I welcome the new facility in Lightroom Desktop to edit images in third party apps, but ran into a problem the first time I tried to use it on my Windows 11 Pro PC which has Affinity Photo installed. Pointing LR to affinityphoto2.exe produced a "Cannot access this file" error. My understanding is that some apps are now sandboxed when installed in Win11, and AffinityPhoto is one of these. I am aware of the risks of running utilities from "unofficial" sources but I tried it, and it works for Lightroom Desktop to open images in Affinity Photo. Hi, Trying to use recommended presets but it ends to "Something went wrong". Premium & Yours presets work fine. This issue started couple of weeks ago. Im running Lightroom on Windows 11 Pro Edition Windows 11 ProVersion 22H2Installed on ‎23/‎02/‎2023OS build 22621.1992Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22644.1000.0 I have already re-installed Lightroom, but this didn't help. Any ideas? -TommyK-

I have a Galaxy A10s, Android version 11, running Lr 8.2.3. Security patch level Mar 1 2023. I have not able to get the upgrade download in Adobe Creative Cloud App. What is the required Android level requirement for Lr 10.  

My photo collection includes some old family photos that were scanned in over the last few years. I'm trying to seperate them out from my regular photos because they all need fixing up. I was hoping to create an album easily by selecting everything that doesn't have a camera metatag. But there doesn't seem to be a way of doing that. Filters can select one camera metatag but not a blank/missing tag. Smart album rules are the same. The only option is 'include' and one value. Any suggestion for how to achieve it?

Hi,Since the last update (couple of weeks ago), "Include Watermark" from the Export Settings no longer works!I can see my watermark in the "customize", but when I export, the watermark does not show up.Do anyone else have the same problem, or can help resolve it? I edit on Lightroom Mobile (on iphone 15) i take pictures in RAW so i edit in RAW after i'm done editing i press share>export as>DNG>Save Imageonce i save the image to my camera roll it saves without all the edits but when i go back to lightroom it shows all my edits. does anyone know how to fix this?

I am traveling for 5 weeks and have been using Lightroom mobile on my iPad to download photos to the iPad and also upload them to the Adobe cloud when i have an internet connection. Worked fine for two countries. Recently, i have the internet again and I can't access Lightroom with my 2000 photos on my iPad. I may have accidentaly logged on incorrectly and have a new version of Lightroom mobile when I click on the icon. Can't get back to the Lightroom mobile that I have been using for the past 5 weeks with my photos already downloaded to the iPad and most but not all uploaded to the cloud.

Hi. My lightroom keeps crashing when I am editing. I edit in RAW. files. I have a MCI 11 Gen I7 2.3 GHZ, Nvidia RTX 3060 and 64g of RAM.

Why is it that whenever i want to find help on a topic, or i have a bug, or anything like that, ALL i can find is stuff for lightroom CC (now classic) I realise in a year or two the answers might be more relevent, but what a stupid move. Issue: Lightroom doesn't perform address lookup for GPS metadata, leaving location, city, and country fields empty. Lightroom Version: 8.0OS and Version: Windows 11 Steps to Reproduce the Behavior:Import photos into Lightroom that contain GPS metadata.Open the photo's metadata panel.Notice that location, city, and country fields remain empty despite the GPS data being present. Expected Result: Lightroom should automatically perform an address lookup based on the GPS metadata and populate the location, city, and country fields, as Lightroom Classic does. Actual Result: Lightroom does not perform any address lookup, and the location, city, and country fields remain empty.

I can no longer access, edit, or export the photos I previously worked on. Additionally, I cannot re-import or re-edit those photos. To make matters worse, all of my saved presets and user presets have disappeared. What is the solution?!😭  I can't re-edit those previously edited photos.. what i can do? How can i get back my photos? Or how can i re-import & edit photos again?? I need quick solution please.  

Hi all,  lets say i import my huge dng Files on my iPhone in Lr. It is clear that my iPhone will upload the full size into the cloud. But when the upload is completed, what happens next?1) I understand that only the smart preview will be downloaded to the iPhone and the local DNG File deleted in order to make free some storage on the Device while the original DNG stays in the cloud. 2) And what happens to that DNG File in the Cloud as soon as Lr Classic has downloaded it to the PC / Mac? Will there only Smart Preview remain in the Cloud and the Original DNG deleted in the Cloud in Order the make some free storage in the Cloud? Because currently i think the DNG will always stay in the cloud. Or is it possible to delete the DNGs in the Cloud as soon as you have it in your local catalogue / library? An Option to decide this behavior would be great... (so you can go far with 20 GB online storage as the smart previews are not counted to that storage volume) Thanks,S

I have a REALLY simple task here.  My images are uploaded to creative cloud, I want to delete the local copies because I don't need them here.  Why on earth is managing files SO HARD. My cache says hey theres 78.3 GB of data stored offline. OS X Agrees ...Filtering for "original available offline" in all photos under sync status seems to be the right thing to check here ... NEITHER of these options are what I wantBecause delete photo literally deletes from the cloud which is not what I want, and archive locally is ALSO not what I want.  This is bordering on absurd.

I have high ISO photos from Sony A7C camea where Lightroom's Noise Reduction works great on the RAW images. But with my newer camera, Sony A7IV, this error message appears. Please, what can be done to fix it?

Why does Lightroom cloud version add sequential numbers as a prefix to the file name when downloading photos? How can I make it so it dioes not do this? 

I renewed my Adobe Lightroom mobile annual subscription March 2024 And ever since then, my account has been EXTREMELY unusable.. Every day it says that my subscription is expired Every time I log in from my iPad Pro, and I am unable to access the premium features, When in fact, I paid $50 for the annual subscription via App Store. Initially, in the beginning, I would try to restore my purchases through the app and sometimes it does work but last no more than one day. And I continuously did that for months, Fast forward seven months. I am now unable to restore at all. I have contacted Adobe multiple times. No one has done anything. This is really upsetting as Lightroom mobile is part of my workflow. I have also reached out to Apple and never heard anything back. This is my last attempt to get it fixed, and hopefully someone can reach out and help. Otherwise this has been a complete waste of my money. 

It would be great if you could bulk-apply a preset to multiple selected photos at once (as you can do in LrC). Note: I am aware that settings can be copied and pasted from one photo to another/multiple.

I had Lightroom 7.5, and wanted to upgrade to 8.0. Now Creative Cloud desktop tells me I have 8.0, but in Lightroom it says 6.0. Before upgrading I had 7.5.   I have tried to fault trace, by signing out, restarting the Mac and signing in til Creative Cloud again, but no change. Ich habe einige Profile heruntergeladen und in Lightroom CC importiert. Nun werden mir die Profile nur für .raw Files angezeigt und nicht für .jpg.Wenn ich jedoch das Profil auf ein .raw Foto anwende, und dann die Bearbeungseinstellungen dieses Fotos kopiere und bei einem .jpg Foto wieder einfüge, wird das Profil korrekt angewendet und sehe es auch im Profil Tab. Nun wäre meine Frage warum die importierten Profile nicht Standardmässig auch für .jpg Fotos angezeigt werden, und was man ändern kann, damit diese auch für .jpg angezeigt werden (ich würde gerne über verschiedene Profile "hovern" können um sie zu vergleichen). Die Profile werden auch nicht angezeigt, wenn ich "Profile verwalten" anklicke.

Hello, so recently I had to document a construction Site at my company.I used the TTartisan 12 mm Fisheye Lens because I didn't have any better focal length available and also didn't see a necessity in doing a Panorama.I also knew that the Lens correction for the Samyang 7.5 mm Fisheye would work perfectly with it.  Now after reviewing the images I realised that Lightroom cuts off a lot of the left/right part of the Image without it beeing visible in the crop window and thus not beeing retrievable.- I know that the quality will suffer heavily in the sides but thats not really important for this job. -   I found a work around where I scale down the Image in the geometry tab but that completely destroys my image quality.   Is there any way to do this without rescaling everything or destroying my image quality??
