When I use DNG mode the screen gets purple and the photos look the same way
hi,The "store locally" function on iOS seems to be not working anymore. The only way to get the counter increasing is by manually "load" a picture by opening it.I have enough space on my devices, rebooted the apps, devices and tried on different networks. Any others having this issue?Kr,
Since the latest update the Histogram display seems odd. It only displays first time in, if you go to crop and back to develop it has disappeared. It also doesn’t respond to changes of exposure, whites, blacks, etc. Can this be fixed please as the histogram is vital to maximising dynamic range.
Lightroom Mobile app for Android ignores system sound settings and still plays a very loud shutter sound even when system sounds are muted.Could you at least add an app setting/option not to play that shutter sound (mute all app sounds)? It happens for my Note 7.
I can no longer enter numeric values for hue and saturation in the split toning panel. I can drag the tiny points around the small color map, but it's hard to be precise without manual entry. I used to be able to type in these fields, but as of LR-3.0 I can no longer get input focus (a cursor) in these fields.
Hello, I'm using an iPhone Xs running iOS 12.1 with Lightroom Mobile 4.02. I'm noticing that, when I shoot DNG, the flash is off and the icon greyed out. The flash is operating normally when shooting JPEG, and with the native iOS camera. I tried resetting the phone and deleting/reinstalling Lightroom but no joy. Is this normal behavior?
On my 10 Core iMac Pro with Vega64 and 64 GB RAM the scroll speed of latest Lightroom CC in the library is so ridiculously slow that it just can't be true.Disable or enable hardware acceleration doesn't change anything. It's literally unusable like this and I only got 400 images in my library. When flicking the scroll area of my mouse it takes 1-2 seconds until it moves.Anyone else experiencing this? How can this be true?
After applying a radial filter, gradient or brush work these appear to get overwritten when copying and pasting only color settings from another image. Choosing from the menu when copying: 1. Photo >> Choose Edit Settings to Copy 2. Select Modified 3. Check only basic color settings leaving everything else uncheckd 4. Click Copy After using Ctrl+V to paste, the edit pins relating to the local adjustments completely disappear. This was working as expected in Lr 3.2.1 but not in Lr 3.3
This was a slightly surprising find. If I take a Photo on my iPhone 11 using the built in camera or the lightroom camera. When that image is synchronised to Lightroom desktop and 'Export Original' and open in Photoshop or 'Edit in Photoshop' there is no Depth map channel. But the depth map is in the image, for example lightroom mobile and the (Apple) Photo app can see (and edit) it. If I sync the Photo to the desktop outside Lightroom and open in Photoshop then it is there. So export original isn't persisting everything (I presume as Lightroom desktop doesn't support Depthmap yet, or so it seems) it is unable to rewrite this data to disk. If I add the photo and add to a collection which I set to "Store Locally" I can then navigate to the folder and select the photo -> edit in photoshop and the depthmap exists. This would seem to be counterintuitive, export original doesn't persist all the information in the cloud original, now whilst I can see
I have a fast work PC with CC installed and until recently all CC apps would load immediately. After updating LightRoom CC to version 2.2, the app now takes 5-10 minutes to load. Nothing has changed in the work environment. Any ideas?
I'm new to Lightroom CC on iOS - playing around with the app for few days right now and really loving it. There seem to be a bug with the sharpening mask though: I can't get it work to show me the mask using the slicer. I'm attaching a Video + Screenshot, since it's hard to see that moment in video where it works for half of a second. Thank in advance and best regards from Germany.
This is a weird one, I've never seen it before or had this before. On my iPad Pro (10.5") the "update" button that shows up when you load an old RAW image to update from a legacy profile can't be pressed. It's not disabled, or doesn't look like it, but nothing happens when I touch it. No reaction, no message, nothing. This is in a set of images I've been working with before, and never seen this before. The only difference now is I'm on a mini vacation (same country) and on crappier wifi (but just crappy, not disabled or anything). The images aren't local, but load fine when I start the app, and the rest of it (editing other images, moving between the 'legacy' set of images, that sort of thing, all work just fine. Update - changing from wifi to hotspot doesn't change anything, nor did rebooting the ipad, or deleting and reinstalling the app. The update button on the same photos on the iPhone works just fine.
can't import any photos.. after reviewing, I'm given this error message: "error while checking disk space"... afterwards, nothing.
Going from Lightroom Mobile to Photoshop for iPad. After doing edits in Photoshop and then selecting Return to Lightroom, Lightroom just crashes losing all my Photoshop edits. This is happening 90% of the time. It’s just too unreliable to be of any use. Any chance of sorting this out. Using Nikon .nef files on 5th gen iPad.
This is the thread where we are tracking People views don't show any persons issues.
I'm trying to compare images inside a stack and the keyboard left and right are not working. I'll press either button on the keyboard and LR CC presents me with "No Photos Selected".
On iPhone xs after updating to the latest version, Activating the "show highlight clipping" option is not working anymor!
“Struktur” is wrong. It’s “structuur”
When copying only Tone Curve Settings and pasting it to a new photo that already has radial filters, gradient filters and or brushes, it deletes them altogether.I've tried with other individual checkboxes from the Light Group and it also overwrite filters settings.Lightroom v3.3
Hey everyone, some (not all) of my folders look like this. It is on all devices. (IPad, Windows 10 Laptop and Samsung Galaxy S8. This is even the case when I log on directly through lightroom.adobe.com. However, when I edit a picture it appears normal again. Also when I export the picture is not broken. Any idea, how I can solve it. It appeared after I got a new IPad and reinstalled Lightroom. However, this could be a coincidence. Screenshot of the problem below. Thank you for your help and best, Heiko
The lightroom android app's auto import settings will import HEIC files when Raws is selected as the only format to import. I don't think this should be intended behaviour as HEIC files are just better compressed jpegs, and not equivalent to raw files. This was experienced on a Galaxy S10e since October 2019 with both android 9 and 10.
I uploaded photos from an event yesterday, .nef and .raf raw files, and after the lightroom cc desktop clients syncing was complete, I checked the iOS version and the browser-based version, where I only saw 'error tiles' on the .raf-files (see screenshot 1 and screenshot 2). I then did a reset of the settings on the desktop app (by renaming the settings file) and deleted the .raf files and re-uploaded them, which didn't work. I remembered that i had this error a few weeks before, so i once again deleted a few .raf files and tried to upload one over the browser-based app, which resulted in a post-error with a http-response status code of '504 Gateway Timeout', as seen in screenshot 3. Back then, I thought this has to be a server error (and not client-side) so i let it rest for a few days and it did resolve by its own. But now it happened again. Notice that this only happens (at least for me) with .raf files, the .nef files are displayed and synced perfectly. In the desktop app
I am testing out using Lightroom Desktop (version: 3.3 X64 [ 20200611-1039-7df19f1 ] Jun 11 2020) as I am considering switching from Classic but I am running into an issue with Stacked Images. When I group images into a stack and then want to edit one of the images in the stack I have to first expand the stack which creates a film strip at the bottom of the application. This isn't a problem until you realize that the strip covers up a portion of the photo viewer preventing you from seeing the whole photo. If you then click on the photo you want to edit and choose the develop option the strip still stays there blocking part of the image. There is no way I can find to minimize the stack strip so that it doesn't obstruct my view when editing. If you click the X to close the stack strip then the strip goes away but it then automatically changes you back to the "stack cover" image. This is a bit annoying and seems like a pretty bad QA oversite. Any idea how to fix this behavior or is i
I have a problem where my photos look as expected in the browser or in the Lightroom app. I then save the photo from either Lightroom mobile app or choose to download it from Lightroom web. The exported photos look as expected in the photo gallery on my phone, but when I import either exported photo into Instagram the photo looks desaturated and maybe more green than the original. Note that this is just with the "Normal" filter applied.EDIT: It looks like I found what the issue is. If I Export the photo as JPG and set the color space to sRGB in Lightroom Mobile then the photo does not get desaturated. I checked in Photoshop and both the regular "Save to Device" function in the Lightroom Mobile app and "Download" buttons from Lightroom Web set the color space to Adobe RGB, not sRGB. Is this by design, and if so, why? This is a serious problem for people to use photos I share with them.
