Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

Am I going mad? Compatible devices on the two Photography plans includes Desktop, tablet, mobile,& web. But compatible devices for the Lightroom-only 1TB plan only includes Desktop, mobile & web.  No iPad???  Is this a typo? Download Adobe Photoshop Lightroom | Photo editing and organising   

Lightroom Classic 13.4 Windows 11   1. In navigation panel, find (or make) a folder that has 0 photos 2. right-click -> remove 3. on parent folder, right-click-> show in explorer result: Folder still exists in filesystem   expected: Folder should be deleted  Delete process should follow the same steps as deleting photos   impact:  Lightroom cannot cannot manage the filesystem.  

Hi, I have Lighroom CC (7.2) on my mac and have a lot of user-created presets (I mean a lot) from when I first started using the program. I want to delete them ALL. Is there a way I can quickly do this? I've done a lot to try and locate the folder where the presets are located and am finding it basically impossible. The only Lightroom folder in my Adobe folder is "Lightroom CC AMT." In my CameraRaw folder there is a settings folder containing all of the preset options except for user-made presets. I've also searched directly for "Presets" and "lightroom" and various combinations in my finder to no avail. I've also searched specific preset names. If I try to open the folder through Lightroom via the "preferences" tab I just get preference options for the Creative Cloud. Please advise!  

I would like to store a copy of photgraphs on a external removable drive. My primary computer is a MacBook Pro. I take my computer out of the office a lot , the external disk will not be attached 100% of the time.Will this confuse LR?  In the evening when I attach the external drive will LR pickup where it left off? ThanksMonty 

I think it would be neat to be able to easily switch between pictures without having to back out of a picture, maybe by simple swiping, or having an arrow button at the bottom to go forward or backward. i think it would also be very helpful to have a way to export multiple photos at once, instead of one at a time

I'm dying here. I hope someone can help me out.  I want to export a version that is not the leftmost one. I have it clicked-on and it still wants to export the most recent edit. Even when I try to open the version that I want in Photoshop, it still opens the wrong one!  No matter what I do, it will only export the one on the right, which has a more-orange concrete tone, which I don't want. Help!

Hello im having issues with Lightroom CC on my phone (android). everytime i try to edit a photo it just shows that its trying to load the image, then it says "faild to load development version" then continues to have the little spinning wheel. All im trying to do is export a picture and it tells me i have no internet connection even though i do. Please help ive been trying for the past hour and nothings working 😕😕

was working about 3 hours in into a photo then noticed the computer got slow, so i closed all apps and restarted lightroom only to find out all my work done gone why? how?? why the hell did the save button got taken out????

HiI am a longtime Lightroom Classic user and have just started the switch to using Lightroom desktop and mobile. The switch has been fairly painless  except for one issue which is puzzling me. I have a folder in Lightroom Classic called Lightroom CC ecosytem.All the photos I am uploading to the cloud from Lightroom desktop and Lightroom mobile are being downloaded into this folder on my hard drive. This wouldn’t be a problem except for any photos I delete from the cloud are not deleted from this folder. This means I am ending up with 100s of unwanted photos in the folder. Strangely if I delete a picture from the folder it is deleted from the cloud. Can anybody explain to me the purpose of this folder? Is there anyway of disabling this folder? Thanks David

I'm experiencing issues with restoring and/or transfering all of my photo's to my new phone.  Last week i switched phones from xiaomi redmi note 8 pro to the redmi note 13 pro 4g (both android) All of my unedited photo's where stored on my sd card and where also imported from that file location. I swapped sim and sd cards and installed the lightroom mobile app on my new phone, only to find out that all of my (+/- 1000) edited pictures where gone and the lightroom mobile was pretty much empty asside from 8 very old pictures. I assumed this must be caused by the app not being able to find the file locations or something. I also assumed by swapping the sd card back into my old phone that the photo's would still be accesible. Unfortunately i found out that the lightroom mobile library on my old phone was also empty after swapping my sd card back. Most of my work is exported but there where still about 200 edited photo's on there that had not been exported and all t

For a lazy part of us editors, would be so cool if with one button we could autoedit every photo in album.

Since the new 7.3 upgrade, none of my images are exporting to the file size they should be. My images are showing they range between 19-21MB in LR. As soon as they are exported they are reducing to close to 4-7mb!? I have never encountered this issue but I am not happy as I have galleries to send to clients. The only change is that Lightroom has released an upgrade in the past week. Anyone?

When I 'add photos' to lightroom (doesn't let me import them), the qualityt is way worse than before.

When i export from lightroom an photo which i have enhanced (stacked photo), so there also an -enhanced.dng file created for this edited photo., i get 2 JPG files while i expect a single exported file. How can you accomplish this ?

With the most recent updates, Ricoh GR III HDF and Ricoh GR IIIx HDF were added to Camera RAW. I can confirm that they show up correctly in LrC as well as LR on my Mac. Consequently, I created Presets based on the available Camera Profiles, only to find out that LR mobile for iPad would neither show any camera specific Profiles nor any Adobe Profiles, just a generic Color/Monochrome. Hence my Presets would not show either and therefore cannot be applied. Interestingly enough the iOS version would correctly show the Profiles and Presets. Can anybody confirm this or is it just my setup?

Hi there, Sorry if there's already an answer to this question in this community but I couldn't find it (to be honest, I'm also not great at understanding how to find answers...). I have pin-sharp photos of birds on my laptop app of the cloud-based Lightroom, which automatically synch to my mobile app. But when I click on photos in the mobile app, they are no longer pin-sharp, and when I try and share or export them from my phone app, the low resolution is retained. They look pixellated or low resolution, or as if the image hasn't fully loaded. I could be wrong, but I don't recall this always being the case in the past. This isn't an import settings issue, as it is purely to do with how synched photos appear in the mobile app. Is there something I'm doing wrong, or a setting I need to change?  The mobile app version is 9.2.2 on an iphone 13 (IOS 17.4.1), and my laptop app is 7.2 WAS x64 on a HP Spectre X360 circa 2021. Thanks in advance for any assistance! Andy&

I agree that Lightroom Classic is a comprehensive and great tool. But I can't help but feel that the future of LR is its application for the cloud version. For me it is more pleasant and faster. I have two technical and one visionary question.1. does LR Cloud in the desktop application save changes in local file modifications only to .xmp files or somewhere else? To a library?2. If I'm on the LR Cloud application and edit local files, will it be a problem to eventually switch to LR Classic?2. do you think Adobe will develop the LR Cloud app and gradually merge it and modernize its UI with LR Classic in some way?Thank you!

Hello, How can I switch users on Lightroom CC (current version) installed on mac OS? After signing out the old user on creative cloud and signing in my account, should I delete any of the old user files such as cached library files, preferences, system files ect, before I open Lightroom CC? I wasn't successful finding this information in the help section regarding the creative cloud version of lightroom.   Thank you, Hayden  

Is there a way to take away the rectangular box that now appears on all photos being edited? It has the line graph of colors. Photo attached  

Hi there! My name is João and I'm a user of the Adobe Lightroom app since late 2022.Since april 2024 I'm not being able to access the interface or export files to it. Sometimes I'm able to access the initial interface but, as soon as I tap in a photo to start editing, the app shuts down.Most of the times when I try to open the app directly, it only shows a black screen with a circle in the middle, like it is loading, but it doesn't go anywhere and when I try to export a picture from the Samsung Gallery it closes immediately.I'll link some screen captures of what just tried to describe and hope that you devs can find a way to fix this inconvenience. My device is an Samsung S22 Ultra and is running the latest Android and One UI versions. 

Ich habe mich vor einem Jahr zu Lightroom for Mobile entschieden mit jährlicher Zahlung und 100GB Speicher. Nun wurde das Abo wieder verlängert und der fällige Betrag von Google eingezogen. Allerdings steht beim Konto, dass sich der Cloud-Speicher nicht verändert hat (momentan 70GB verwendet). Müsste ich nicht wieder die vollen 100GB haben, wenn ich es weiter für 1 Jahr verlängere? Was würde passieren, wenn die 100GB ausgeschöpft sind?
