I got a Samsung Galaxy Note9 specifically for LrCC and microSD local storage. Connecting a USB-C/SD card adapter for importing works, and the My Files app sees both the microSD and the external SD card. But Lr stops import at once (I have my SD cards set to read-only) -- turns out it replaces the microSD in preferences with the new external SD the moment you connect the adapter. It gets confused to the point it wants to resync, so you have to disconnect the adapter. This is even despite the fact the the sources in the import dialogue show both the microSD and the external SD.The solution had been copying from the external D to the internal device memory (512GB) first, then importing from there. Is there a way to keep Lr focused on microSD?
Three times in the past few weeks Lightroom Mobile (iOS) has frozen on a black screen that just says “Loading Photos”. It never does load any photos and nothing fixes it except uninstalling and reinstalling the app. I lost an entire day’s worth of work editing a wedding because of this. I had the images stored locally and was disconnected from the internet when the “loading photos” screen came up. Tried letting it sit for hours, restarting the app, rebooting the iPad, and finally had to uninstall and reinstall the app. Doing so deleted all my locally stored images and erased all the editing I had done since the last time I was connected to the internet. Finally re-downloaded all my local copies and now it’s happening again. So be warned... this app is not fit for professional use.
I have about 400,000 photos in Lightroom Cloud, and I try to store all the smart previews locally on all platforms for slow internet/disconnected operation/faster refresh. On the iPad Pro, I have to select "store album locally" on each individual album, and it's blazing fast as expected once stored. On Windows, there's a setting "Store all Smart Previews locally", which I have checked. It took days to hydrate the Surface Pro 6 with 1TB SSD, and eventually all albums synced over. However, it takes from dozens of seconds to several minutes for an album to update in the viewer when I switch to a different album. Sometimes the cloud shows sync status, sometimes it doesn't.Often, when Lr CC Windows starts, the album tab is empty, and it might takes ten minutes for it to show all the albums. The thumb covers take more time to show, and the albums might wait for several minutes more each, spinning the progress circle in the image area. This does not happen o
Hello all,I'm trying out the new Adobe Photoshop Lightroom, coming from Lightroom 6. One of the features that is critical for me is the stitching of spherical panoramas. Lightroom 6 is decent, but often creates a visible seam or other smaller mistakes, and I hope that the latest Lightroom is better. Unfortunately, Lightroom CC seems to hang after a while. Creating the preview works fine. When actually rendering the full panorama it uses 100% CPU as expected, but later it reduces to 18% CPU, and a few minutes later it's down to no CPU usage at all. The user interface is still responsive, it's only the merging itself that hangs in limbo.Has anyone experienced this? Is there a solution? I have unticked "use graphics processor" in the p, but it didn't change anything in the behaviour. The merging process just stops mid-way.I'm stitching 26 DNG files shot by a DJI Mavic 2 Pro drone. Below you can see where the "Performing Merge" step hangs. Image is not available This is my system info: Lig
I was eager to try out a Bluetooth mouse with my iPad and Lightroom, since mouse/trackpad support is finally here. In iPadOS 13.4, the mouse scroll wheel works in most apps, but won't let me scroll through my photos in Lightroom. Is there an update that will add this functionality? Can trackpad users confirm the same issue in the app?
BUG! iOS version of Lightroom Mobile did not save photos shot in the Adobe app! Settings: HDR, grid lines enabled. I am not a newbie. I have subscribed and used routinely "Lightroom Classic" (Ugh! just hate that name) for many years. Shoot a full frame camera. While I don't chimp, I was watching my iPhone 6S+ screen 'flash' with each shutter press. In the same session (along California coast), shot with the native iPhone app, all photos stored normally.
Lightroom Mobile > Shared to Web > Gallery Settings > Share & Invite > Customize Display > Show TitleIf I change the title, and tap the check mark, the new title doesn't save. I have to first tap return on the keyboard, then tap the check mark.Seems to be a bug.
Just a GUI glitch. Samsung Galaxy S9, Android 10, landscape orientation.
What is with the new update. Before when I did a gradient filter on a photo, I could go to the next photo and apply a gradient filter and I would have the same settings already there that I used on my previous photo saving me heaps of time as all the photos were taken at the same time so all need the same settigns. Now each timne all the settings are back to neutral. What a crappy update. What else that was good about LR has been removed?
Hi,Here’s another bug and easy to reproduce: Enable store locally and wait for completed download Disable network Try to export an image This will fail
In Lightroom CC when you click on the cloud (where you see the sync status), under the disk space status bar it's says "XXX,Y GB gratis" and it has to say "XXX,Y GB libres"."Gratis" in spanish means "free of charge" (refers to money) and not "free space".It's a really bad translation and it rest seriousness to a top level software like Lightroom.
F11 shortcut for Full Screen mode doesn't work in Home tab on Windows desktop version (it only works in Library and Share tabs). I tested on Mac and there CTRL + CMD + F does work in Home tab. Running latest Windows and Lightroom version.
So if I rotate an image 180 while editing and then try exporting the image the exported image isn’t rotated.
Very recently I updated iOS to 12 (necessary for some app).I realize it occured about the same time as the Lr 4.1.1 upgrade (711BD8).Now, everytime I start the camera, I'm back to auto mode and 4:3 and f#@&g activated flash on.Is it only me ? If I uninstall it, i'll have to download all my pictures again ? what informations would I loose ?Is there a better way to reset prefs ?
the 8.5 x 11 crop in lightroom mobile doesn't seem to be correct....seems to be too square.
Hi. When I import RAW (*.RAF) photos into Lightroom CC (Android) directly from my Fujifilm X-T20 into Samsung Galaxy Tab Android tablet, they appera black and white. If I do the exact same on Samsung Galaxy S7 phone (Android), they are imported correctly (colour).I made a screenshot. First picture (chronologically last one - smiling girlfriend) is imported using Phone. It is in colour everywhere. Two other pictures (chronologically first, cat on balcony and less smiling girlfriend) are imported using tablet, being incorrectly black and white.More funny things:1) When imported on tablet, they appear B/W only on tablet, after they sync also to the phone, they appear in colour2) When I edit this badly imported photo in tablet, they will stay B/W forever, even on other devices3) When I import pictures using phone, they appear in colour on Phone and also on tablet.4) More sofisticated scenario - when I import pictures using Tablet (they appear B/W) and the open it in phone (in colour) and I
I'm trying to use the healing brush with the Apple Pencil 2 on my iPad Pro 11" 2018.However, it's impossible. I can't do any precise edits, as the pencil ignores small, precise edits. Large brush sizes get registered, but small ones show a weird kind of lag. It works perfectly in some other apps, like fresco. It works ok (with some lag) in PS mobile. It is unusable in lightroom mobile. (Also, there is no pressure sensitivity. Is there supposed to be? If not, why not?Edit: I just discovered that pressure sensitivity works fine for selective adjustments. There is no pressure sensitivity for the healing brush. I expected it to work like in Photoshop, but I guess it doesn't.)
With the new update I am unable to import more that about 10-20 raw files before Lightroom crashes. Can cr.2 files from SD card attached via cable. Closes the app completely.Note: This conversation was created from a reply on: Lightroom Mobile: Allow Direct Importing images into iPad with ios 13.
The new export feature for LR Mobile Android v5.0 supposedly supports color space tagging but it is not working. The exported image's color space remains untagged with no embedded profile.
I have just imported about 250 photos with a manual lens and need to apply lens corrections to the entire batch. It appears Lightroom CC can't handle this. I've opted to copy and past lens corrections and that does not copy the lens settings I've attempted to copy. It only enables lens corrections without selecting the lens profile. There appears to be no way to batch edit, or paste lens corrections.
After upgrading the iOS app on my iPhone and iPad to version 4.4, over 400 of the photos I long ago imported into Lightroom (cloud) on my desktop now appear in the “Lr camera roll”. This wasn’t a problem with 4.3. When I delete them from “Lr camera roll”, they also get removed from the library. How do I convince/remind Lightroom that these aren’t photos taken with the Lightroom camera?
I've imported 25K photos that are all face tagged using both the MicrosoftPhoto schema (from the old Windows Live Photo Gallery) as well as the Metadata Working Group region schema. Windows only reads the MicrosoftPhoto schema, but other apps use the more standard MWG version, so I built a tool to keep them in sync. When I "Save To..." a photo (whether edited or not) from Lightroom CC desktop, the MWG regions are stripped from the output, but the MicrosoftPhoto regions are still there. Obviously that's not ok.When I "Download this photo" from Lightroom CC web, both sets of regions are in the output.
In Lightroom Mobile CC (At least on iPad and mobile (IOS) ) If you for example copy just the tone curve in "copy settings" and then you paste the settings to another picture it also copy/paste other settings. For example the "Color" settings. Even though you did not choose to copy the color settings. This was also confirmed with your support that recommended me to report the bug here too.
On my phone Lightroom Mobile doesnt work after android 9 update. Application crashes on startup always.Anybody idea?LR ver 4.4Android 9Phone Note8 (SM-N9500)
If I sync a PSD file from LR Classic to LR mobile, enlarging the file on a mobile device turns the PSD transparency mask to grey. Why? Either by double tapping or expanding 2 fingers to enlarge, the mask of the PSD file becomes visible. This to me is a pretty decent bug, especially when showing work to clients. Others on the LR user forum can verify this bug.
