Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

Hi, I just downloaded 6.2 cloud version and was working with a non-cloud based version on my old computer. Not sure if that is considered Classic. Anyway, I am noticing a few things that don't look the same or that I don't seem to be able to do on the cloud version.1. When I want to export  my photos, they are not quickly identifiable as edited like they were in my other version. In my other version, in the "library" it shows all the photos that were imported, and has icons on the photos that were edited. This makes it very easy to quicky select those for export. The cloud-based version does not show icons on the edited photos so I am not quite sure which ones were edited. Is there a way to make this easier in the cloud-version?2. Also, in the cloud version, I can't find an option to import to a location other than the cloud. My 20 g will fill up quickly and I need to be able to move all the files off the cloud and onto an external drive. Is there a way to set it to import to my c

  I subscribed to Lightroom 170 but I don't have it activated? 

Was editing some photos and suddenly the slider bars for vertical and horizontal positions have faded out and I am unable to adjust the watermark position. The watermark stays in the middle of the photograph. Any ideas?

From a post from 2020 I saw an Adobe team person comment that they took the feedback of being able to tag and mark people as a suggestion. Has really nothing happened with that feature and it´s now 2023? When I mask people, it doesn´t quite work for then the AI to find the others based on that masking. Any suggestions? And can someone please give feedback that a "tag people" instead feature should be added as masking people takes time, something that could be done in 1 second instead.. 

I made some screenshots...But I have the latest updates  Imac and what I am talking about is NOT Lightroom Classic its the other one just called Adobe Lightroom ... It comes out as a Raf from my Fujifilm XT2 camera  digital  , and I import it to my desk !But to my surprise it comes as a Tif to Photoshop ? Hmmmm Why ? Thats my question ?Regards Martha

I like to have full size files available to me on the cloud when I'm editing away from home, so I upload to LR cloud, but when I need to clear out space from Adobe cloud I don't want to lose all those edits when I delete them. What's the process recommended to get those edits into Classic? 

I use Lightroom Mobile on my iPad and recently permanently deleted all the images in the "deleted" folder. And afterwards realized that I hadn't backed up a large portion of those images. Is there a way to recover images that have been permanently deleted!?

Bonjour, j'ai commencé à utiliser Lightroom depuis quelques mois et mais depuis peu  j'ai basculé sur Lightroom Classic. Mon souci est que je ne sais comment importer mes images de LR vers LRC en conservant mes retouches. J'ai bien importé mon catalogue de photos vers LRC, mais les modifications apportées aux photos ont disparues. Auriez vous une solution ?Merci par avance Emmanuel

Hello,  I am trying to export photos from lightroom and send to facebook but the white box is not showing up when i cllick on export.  (Thread title edited by Moderator)  

I recently uploaded a ton of photos from a trip to Lightroom CC. When I wanted to export them I was getting the error that says "These files could not be found" and turned out it only exported like half of the selected files.   I add this post in case someone else falls into this problem. I found the solution which was to extend the cache size in the preferences..       

I don't care for rejected photos taking up space on my external hard drive. The way I got around this before was re-syncing my cloud library with LR classic, then deleting the rejects from there. But LR classic is slow and buggy. After a recent experience where I couldn't open Classic at all, I decided to come up with a solution. I didn't code this app myself. I got help from a guy on Fiver. Issue: When exporting from a certain album I receive an error message that says that the file is not supported or damaged. Files are completely fine. My colleague doesn't have issues exporting the same files. My LR is updated to the latest version.What can I do?

Hi All I uploaded new DNG files created with Leica Q2 in LR through IPAD. With some images I make changes in temperature amd tone, I see the changes but then I move to another image and if I go back to the previous one I need to remake the changes (or I need to touch the tone slider so that LR actually shows the modifications made: for example I insert plus 24 but LR shows the image without the change in tone, then I move the slider I go back to 24 and it shows the new tone but then I move to another shot and when I go back I need to retouch the tone slider...). Or I see the changes correctly when I open the photo but in the little icon I see a different tone...) did anyone experience something similar? Any suggestion? thank you!

Hi, I´m really trying to organize all my photos after people. I uploaded around 5000 photos into Lightroom. The cloud icon says "synced" and done. In settings, I have made sure facial recognition is enabled. But when I click on "people" is says there are no one to be found. What do I do? I also don´t seem to have the "face" icon at any menu bar below as a lot of tutorials do. This is way more confusing than what I expect from a product in 2023 and I work in tech.. I´m on Mac and just downloaded Lightroom so on latest version, and I also tried to close the application and re-start. Still showing no people. Can there be a delay on how long the program needs without it tellng me? What would you guys do? 

I started importing my photos and see my folders are imported like following, which sounds like 57 of my photos does not belong to any of my album/folder.All Photos: 826Album A: 496Album B: 273Probably I just forgot to specify the folder on import, but I do not want to check each photos to find the orphaned ones and put them in the correct folder.Are there any filtering feature that filters only the photos that are not included in any of the folders?

Hi, My copy of lightroom is only showing 14GB of locally available storage when I have 358GB of free space on my Mac. I can't upload any sizeable quantity of photos without fixing this discrepancy but don't know how.I've deleted my photo library, uninstalled and reinstalled lightroom bt it doesn't seem to make a difference.Thanks, 

I'm trying to switch my plan from the photography plan (Lightroom & photoshop) to just the Lightroom 1tb plan however it will only let me cancel the photography plan. I have 20gb of files in the cloud and i am worried that i will lose them if i cancel. How do i switch over?

First I would like to report my dissatisfaction to ask for help.   But let's go! The images of the sky even on clear days are getting stripes, but in editing it's getting good.. when you take a landscape image to edit on your smartphone the image is beautiful and then when you finish and look at the gallery, the image is striped. You a totally different result from the application to the gallery

I am working via a samsung tablet on lightroom mobile app. I can import and create an album no problem and everything syncs to lr classic and the original hi res is set up to be saved to my NAS via the sync processes. What i want to then do is delete the hi res photo from the cloud but still have all edits and albums intact across the mobile app and lr classic. Reason i want to delete the hi res from the cloud is because i only have the 20gb plan and don't want to be running out of room. So essentially i just want the smart preview to remain, just as if i was doing the process via lr classic. I have looked everywhere and asked in a Facebook photo group but havent gotten a solution. Is it possible or am I just better off doing everything through lr classic then just edit away on my phone/tablet. Thanks
