When using Photoshop 27.0, (on Mac Sequoia 15.6.1) I am having issues with the remove tool. I remove backgrounds for product photos. And, after removing the background, I will often go in and clean up the object. Removing stickers, etc. However, now if I try to use the Remove tool on an object with a transparent background - Photoshop is generating a new background. Is there any way to stop this from occurring?
I just bought a bit of Moab's Entrada Rag bright paper and downloaded the ICC profile. When I did this, Moab just gave a folder with all their profiles for the printer I am using (Epson P100000 on Mac iOS 12.7.5), so I just added all of them to the Profiles folder. Curious thing happened: all Moab papers are visible through print dialogue box in Photoshop except for the one I need! I see Juniper Baryta Rag, Slickrock Metallic Pearl, etc. Even Entrada Rag Natural, and Entrada Rag Textured, but no Entrada Rag Bright! I have checked the folder and it's there with the others. I have deleted them, re-downloaded, and installed them: same thing happens. I have tried just the profile I need without the others: no luck. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a workaround?
I'd love to see an option in preferences under Units and Rulers to set the Ruler Origin (0,0) to be in a different location than the top left corner of the artboard, either on a document by document basis, or as a default - maybe with a toggle. A 3x3 grid of radio button selections such as top left, middle left, bottom left; top center, middle center, bottom center; top right, middle right, bottom right would be ideal, but a drop down list would work also. This would save having to zoom waaaaayyy in to the appropriate location and dragging the corner box of the ruler to (hopefully) line up with the exact pixel you're aiming for on each new artboard/file. If there's already a simple way to do this that I'm unaware of, I'd love to know what it is! Thanks! mscureman
Photoshop 2026 does not show file extensions in Grid view. It has always done it in the previous versions. How do I get it back to show file extensions? I'm running it on a MacBook
Desde 2012 utilizo para editar fotografías CS6 en Mac. Hasta ahora con sistema Mojave, pero al pasar al Monterey no me funcona. ¿Alguien me puede echar una mano?. Gracias
Hello everyone, I recently updated my pc to Operating System: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit (10.0, Build 18363) (18362.19h1_release.190318-1202)System Manufacturer: Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd.System Model: X570 AORUS ELITEBIOS: F12fProcessor: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8-Core ProcessorMemory: 16384MB RAM Video: EVGA 1060 GTXComing from a similar setting running under intel i5 6600. I have reinstalled photoshop correctly but now I get an annoying lag every often when managing my layer setup, as: - when moving a layer above or under others. - when creating a folder. - when moving a layer inside or outside a folder. - when expanding or contracting a folder.Photoshop hangs (no response from any button press, only mouse moving is available) with the hand_pointy_finger cursor (the one you get when hovering over the layers section) stuck wherever I hover the mouse to. I can still alt tab and do everything else on windows but photoshop remains hanged for 10-15 seconds
Periodically, the saved printer preferences disappear. I go to print and when I look in the Print Settings Current Settings drop down list, the settings I previously named and saved have disappeared.
I use Photoshop 2026. It save files as .jpeg, even I have chosen .png format. I have checked mode RGB, at Preferances is ,png with transparency. Please, help!
Hello, friends!I have a photo of a girl in a T-shirt and a photo of the T-shirt. I need to swap the T-shirts (or at least the print on the T-shirt).I want it to look like the example in the uploaded files (I did it myself, but I don't like this option because it's too long and complicated). Can you recommend any Photoshop plugins or services that can help me with this?
Whenever I try to print, photoshop crashes. No error messages, it just closes.I have uninstalled/reinstalled. I have removed any recenlty installed software (configuration program for a graphics tablet). And I have tried everything suggested in similar threads, the most recent being from back in 2023. Printer drivers are up to date, and the printer works fine with all other applications tested. It's just Photoshop that has this problem.Any suggestions? Thanks
While I'm working with a very large file 2.97G, photoshop will not allow me to export this at the size I need it to be and is giving an error message saying "the image dimensions cannot scale exactly as entered and has been rounded. For an exact size please use Canvas Size or scale the layer or layer effects in the document".The size I'm setting is 48 x 66.37.". Even if I change the 66.37 to 66" it is still producing this error. I really feel this just started happening. Can someone please help me!I'm using Photoshop 2025, on a MAC OS Sequoia 15.5
Hi! When saving new files, Photoshop sometimes can't do that, showing error message "i am unable to create a file in this folder". Each 10 opened photos, a variabile number of them (1-4) fail the save process, and I have to save them a seconda time. Tried saving on different drives (hdd or ssd).Running Photoshop 25.12.4 on windows 10.
I've only had photshop for 5 days and I've only been able to create one project because the app will not allow me to create another file. I'll click create file and nothing happens. I've looked into it and I've seen other people with the same problem. I've tried fixes, but nothing has worked yet. I'm using a Mac air, macOS 15.3.2. This is quite frustrating because I was on a free trial and now I feel it's been wasted.. Any suggestions??
I had a script that worked in photoshop 23 where I could copy and paste guides from one document to another, but it is not working in the new version of Photoshop. Does anyone have an updated script or know how to fix this problem?
Issue Symptoms:When first opening Photoshop, dragging selections works normally. After using it for a few minutes, dragged selections constantly follow the mouse cursor.Clicking cannot cancel it, Ctrl+D is ineffective, and you cannot perform any other operations. You can only switch to other software or close Photoshop.Version: Occurs on both Windows 11 64-bit and Photoshop 2025/2026. This issue emerged within the last ten days.I've tested two or three Photoshop versions, replaced the mouse and keyboard, reinstalled the operati Sometimes when I click the Stamp Tool, it immediately switches to the Selection Tool.Or when I click the Selection Tool, it instantly jumps to the Selection Tool. How amazing.
Hi, I want to trace pixel art from a high resolution image but keep the high resolution images resolution high but actually draw on a 32x32 size document. Is there any way to do this. If i were to scale down the image to fit in 32x32 it would lose so much detail tracing would not work. I want to practice making pixel art by tracing is there some way to force a image to overlay at high resolution while the document is only 32x32 pixels.Thanks.
Hello fellow iPad end users, Greetings for the holiday season! My issue is, I currently have a paid annual subscription for Photoshop version 7, but had my subscribed Adobe Photoshop drop my paid subscription mid-stream and limited my access/use of the software application in spite of my fully paid status. Subscription was fully paid on Qctober 25, 2025 to October 25, 2026 and Photoshop dropped my subscriber use to limited 'free-copy' use on October 30, 2025. This is the second time the anomaly manifested itself on Photoshop. The first was when photoshop updated to version 6.1.1 and the second was when Photoshop updated from 6.2.2 to 7; Prior to version 6.1.1. Photoshop would crash when being initialized, fortunately, the problem was resolved with photoshop version 6.1.1. i had to cancel my first subscription and resubscribed on October 25, 2025. I may have to cancel my subscription once again, a second time and rescbscribe to resolve the annoying issue as Appl
I have found an interesting predicament that occurs when editing photos in Photoshop 2026 (27.0.0) and using hibernation mode on Windows 11. Windows 11 will corrupt the Photoshop images if you try to do an upscale on a particular image after returning from hibernation. At first this drove me a little crazy but then I decided to shut down Photoshop and do a cold reboot. When I reopened Photoshop the problem was gone so I have to surmise that Using Windows hibernation is compromising Photoshop memory when Photoshop is being restored. The larger problem I have is that I will normally have as many as a dozen (or more) images open in Photoshop simultaneously. Closing Photoshop and then reopening from a saved list is a time consuming process
Hello. I have suggestion : when in camera raw (open from bridge in macOS), you want to zoom in a precise part of a picture, it ever zoom in the middle and in the bottom third instead of where you zoom in !So to really upgrade the workflow, it must zoom and center the view where you zoom in with the cursor. I remember it was so a few version ago ! Last version of bridge, camera raw and macOS Sequoia 15.6.1 Thanks a lot

Hi there, I am desperately trying to resize my Canon r5 images to "even" or "clean" numbers (pixels). The original format of the r5 is: 8192 x 5464 px (2x3 format). When I am in the "Image Size" Window typing for example 300 pixel (width), I will get 200 pixel (height), which makes absolutely sense because of the original sensor aspect ratio. BUT: When I type 3000 pixel for the long side (width), I suprisingly get 2001 pixel for the short side. WHY? I asume there is some hidden decimal place going on in the background?!? I remember there was no issue with my old Canon 5D Mark IV (6720 x 4480 px). Is there any workaround? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and best regards!
I tripped over this now-closed thread:https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-ecosystem-discussions/why-was-sync-settings-removed-in-cc-2015-1/td-p/7876491 I am curious... does anyone still feel there's a requirement for this? A potentially unofficial/official response in the original thread stated that its removal was partly due to Libraries being introduced at the time. However, I don't see how Libraries caters for app Sync Settings, 10 years following that post.
