The Harmonize feature in the Photoshop Beta is great, but it would be more useful to be able to choose which element you want to harmonize. EG: I might want to Harmonize my background element to match the look of the foreground character or object instead of vice versa.
Similar to using shift to draw a straight line, a tool that lets you use any brush to draw along a perfect circle/curve like a stencil, while retaining texture/pressure settings of the brush in raster mode.
Photoshop 2025 - Bad Unit rulers in inches can't see the #s and the increments when changing the Interface color in prefernces. Terrible for printing and lining things up. Also everytime I select a color it adds it to my swatches pallet I don't want this. I only want swatches to be added if I click New Swatch. I should not have to create a Group and name it. It used to be that if a color is added to the swatch pallet it is done by me when I hit new swatch and then I named it. Now every time I select new color its a swatch automatically terrible. FIX THE UNITS IN RULER - LINES ARE UNREADABLE AT ANY INTERFACE COLOR. ALLOW USERS TO INCREASE THE FONT DISPLAY SIZE OF THE RULER NUMBERS.
I think it would be cool if they added an AI feature that let you change the time of when a photo was taken. Example: from day to night or from bright day to sunset. They can find a place to put all these features, like harmonize and generative fill etc. This feature is basically like the neural filters, maybe it already exist, but I feel like most of the neural filters dont work good enough. It would be nice if it was like a scrollwheel or time set thing. U just say 10pm and it makes the image 10pm… idk I just think it would be cool.
Whenever I hop into Liquify and try to use the Forward Warp tool for a subtle change, I always have to make a significant stroke first before anything happens, which can throw off my vision. To deal with this I often use the smudge tool to make a subtle change, but obviously, it smudges my art. Ibis Paint and CSP have tools to make this all easier, why doesn't Photoshop?
It'd be awesome to have the lock transparency feature on the iPad version of photoshop please! It makes adding shadows and highlights easier while drawing without going outside the area
Hi Adobe Team,I’d like to suggest an enhancement to Photoshop’s masking workflow that could benefit both intermediate and advanced users. Currently, creating precise masks from colour data often requires multiple steps — using channels, Apply Image, Selective Color, and Levels — which can be fiddly and unintuitive. My idea is an Advanced Masking Panel where users could: Select a source channel (RGB, Lab, or individual channels) Adjust hue range sliders to isolate specific colours Adjust luminance sliders to target highlights, midtones, or shadows Preview the mask live and refine it interactively before applying This would allow users to isolate very specific pixels — for example, only the brightest blue highlights in wave spray — without inadvertently selecting background elements. The workflow would remain non-destructive, visual, and much more accessible, reducing trial-and-error while retaining full creative control. It’s a small enhancement conceptually, but it could dramatical
Please add a way to preview a brush-line (brush tool when holding the shift key) like Clip Studio Paint does. It allows you to see where your brush will draw the line before you tap. See the attached image.
Please add an option for the brush and eraser tools to display both the brush tip shape and the tool icon simultaneously. This means showing the brush tip outline along with the brush tool icon (and also adding icons for other brush shapes, similar to the cursor settings in Krita and Clip Studio Paint). This would be extremely helpful for 2D designers when drawing line art, especially on 4K screens where the default small crosshair is tiring to the eyes and makes it difficult to locate the cursor.
Hello, We need to be able to preserve selected option in OpenEXR import dialog via settings, so we can batch-process .exr files.Best regards,Petr MaxaTake Two Interactive
I often need to copy text out of screenshots, scans, and flattened comps. On my phone I can long-press to select text, but in Photoshop I have to leave the app (e.g., Acrobat or third-party tools) just to OCR. Please add built-in OCR so I can:• Drag-select text directly on the canvas and copy/paste it.• Convert recognized text to editable Type layers (preserving font/size when possible, or at least positioning).• Batch OCR a folder / current document’s layers via Actions/Scripting.• Choose language packs; work offline; keep data local for privacy. This would save huge time for designers doing localization, accessibility, and quick content edits, and would keep the workflow inside Photoshop.
In Photoshop I would like to have colors in all color editing tools (Saturation, Selective color atc.) similar as it is in Lightroom.Especialy orange is very usuful when editing skin tones.
I’d love to be able to directly open, edit, and save PSD files stored on frame.io without having to manually download, open, edit, save, and re-upload them. The Photoshop Open from Adobe cloud dialog box and the Photoshop for Web Files option would allow users to navigate to their frame.io account and choose PSD files. Downloading and re-uploading would happen in the background. When saving, there would be an option to “Replace” or “Add saved to frame.io version stack”. Pictured: What the Open from Adobe cloud dialog box might look like in Photoshop desktop. Pictured: What the Files option might look like in Photoshop for Web with an option for frame.io. - Warren
Hello! I have trouble navigating through my brush lists and folders, as there are thousands of them. It would be very convenient if I could highlight the brush I like. When searching for a brush, it would be very easy to find the one I need and select, highlighted in color. The same could be done for folders. Thank you!
I've been using the Variations tool for as long as I can remember. I know it only worked with 32-bit but I used it all the the time for color corrections and would like a new version for 64-bit. Sometimes it's just the only thing that will tweak that color just right.
Pleas ad a good noise filter with size etc and ad a good vignette filter instead of these parafilter
Currently you create a live gradient, then if you move your artwork (including the live gradient), either to a different location on the canvas or to a new artboard, everything moves except the live gradient, which stays in its exact location? We need to have the option so, for example, you can can put a live gradient behind a transparent object and then link them together, so when you move the layer with the transparent object the live gradient moves with it. It’s so frustrating if you have artwork with many live gradients within it and you want to move all the artwork on the canvas, or you want to duplicate your artwork and move it to another artboard, you have to go to every live gradient and move them individually. Very odd that you can’t move them along with other layers.
In Photoshop, when you go to Export, Export As, and choose a jpeg, it says you can include the copyright and contact info, but what about keywords, description and other pertinent info? All that stuff gets stripped out of the file when using this Export As function, creating more work. What gives Adobe? That makes no sense.
I want to make sure a user has its ruler origin reseted to document top/left.But I can't reset it by script.
Title says it all. Please give the ability to ease transitions on keyframes in Photoshop Timeline editing. While we're at it, make it possible to edit the length of multiple layers selected at once.
When you create a shape with the Shape tool, all its properties appear in the Properties panel. However, when you create a Shape Path with the pen tool, the only properties that show are Mask “Density” and “Feather”.I realize that the properties like Fill and Stroke are nestled in the top menu bar, but this seems very inconsistent with Shape Paths, which are essentially the same as Shapes.I would like be able to see all the properties that appear in the Properties panel, including Appearance (Fill, Stroke), Pathfinder, and Shape Properties.
Add the ability to paint brush strokes as lines, like in Fresco. When you draw a stroke in Fresco and hold at the end, a perfect line is drawn using your current brush. The only way to accomplish this now in Photoshop is to either Shift-tap (which draws a line from your starting point but with no indication like a rubber band) or to create a path then stroke the path with your brush. Both of these methods are outdated and cumbersome. The Fresco method is much easier and modern.
I'm using a high resolution monitor(2560x1600). As a result, all the the toolbar fonts and menu fonts are small and hard to see. I do not want to lower the screen resolution as this would defeat the purpose of this monitor.. Will the new CS6 have the ability to increase font sizes to accommidate Hi-Res monitors? Thanks Ron Acevedo
Photoshop’s Timeline has significant potential as a lightweight animation and compositing environment. Many professionals use it for: Frame-based animation Asset preparation for video editing Hybrid pipelines (Premiere / FCP / After Effects) Game and motion asset production However, Timeline development appears stagnant, and UXP currently does not provide sufficient API access to support serious animation workflows. Ideally, we would like to see Timeline itself strengthened and modernized. But even before that, we urgently need official Timeline / Animation API support in UXP. Why this matters Photoshop is transitioning toward UXP-only extensibility. However, UXP currently cannot replace JSX for Timeline automation. Missing capabilities include: Reliable playhead control Frame-accurate timing control Document duration access Frame rate access Stable batch frame adjustment Exposure of Timeline menu commands This creates a serious migration blocker.
