Photoshop

Hi,recently, my Photoshop was updated to version 2026 and now I can't open any of the files I had saved in my cloud, and with every attempt to do so, I get this error message: "Couldn't open "file.psdc" because the file is not compatible with this version of Photoshop."As you can imagine, this can be very frustrating, given that most of my work is saved as .psdc documents on the cloud. I use Windows 10 and I am also getting error 506 when trying to update Creative Cloud. Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks

Hello I have now updated to PS 2026 and want to know if  I can apply a color theme, or a gradient, that was extracted from an image in Adobe Color Web 'Extract Theme' Option and saved to my Library, to a different mage in photoshop 2026? I'm thinking particularly of cinematic images grabed from stills. Ultimatley I would like to use these in Lightroom Classic? If this is posible any guidance would be appreciated, or am I barking up the wrong tree? Cheers, Ray (London, UK)

Depuis la dernière mise à jour de Photoshop 2026, j’ai remarqué que la commande “Command + Z” ne fonctionne plus comme avant. Au lieu d’annuler mes actions une par une en remontant l’historique, la commande semble maintenant rétablir ou annuler uniquement la dernière action, puis refaire l’action si je refais “Command + Z”. J’aimerais retrouver le comportement où je peux annuler plusieurs actions successivement dans l’ordre chronologique.Est-ce que quelqu’un saurait comment rétablir ce fonctionnement ou s’il y a un paramètre à ajuster ? Merci d’avance pour votre aide !

When I use the save for web feature in Photoshop, it stops working after a few uses, simply pressing the shortcut or selecting save for web (older versions) in the menu does nothing. I have to restart the app and then it works again for a while.I thought the new version would solve it, but alas, it doesn't... it's even more common

  I recently formatted my computer and I wanted to bring brushes from the library window to the brushes window so that  I could use brushes locally without having to load them up on the cloud.Previously, you were able to drag them from one window to the other window and they would import.However,  now when I try to do that I get the prohibited sign like the image above.I am able to drag from the brushes to the library but not the reverse for some reason. Is this a bug or something that is not possible any more?I searched elsewhere on this topic and found no solution.And before the suggestion to, save each individual brush from the library as it's own brush in photoshop that is not a feasible solution. Hello Adobe Support,I’m currently experiencing the “Disk Error” issue in Photoshop. Because of this, I can only use version 25.9.1. Whenever I need new features, I temporarily switch to version 27.0 (the latest release), but the same error always occurs.I’ve reviewed several troubleshooting guides, and most suggest disabling “Use Graphics Processor.” However, this defeats the purpose of having a powerful NVIDIA RTX 3060, so I’d prefer to keep GPU acceleration enabled.Here’s everything I’ve tried so far:Updated NVIDIA drivers to the latest Studio version (previously used the Game Ready version). Im trying to change the colour of a photo on photoshop but everytime i go to select a colour it goes back to grey and says that its out of gamut for printing. I dont know what this means so any help would be great

Hey everyone,I’m running into a problem with Photoshop’s grayscale workflow and the “Dot Gain 20%” proof setup. I really like using the Dot Gain 20% proof because it lets me work in color while visually seeing my image as grayscale, and I can color-pick the the original image's colors while painting in grayscale = when i turn off the dot gain i get the colored version. The issue:When I try to export or commit what I see in the Dot Gain 20% proof (for example convert to a true grayscale file), there doesn’t seem to be a direct way to “bake” that look into my image. If I use things like “Hue/Saturation > Saturation: 0” to switch to grayscale, the values don’t match what I see in Dot Gain 20%. It’s not the same as the proof view.I know I could take a screenshot, but that loses detail and resolution (especially for large images).I’d rather have a way to commit or export exactly what I see, with the Dot Gain 20% proof applied, at full resolution. Questions:Is there a direct way

Bonjour,Après la mise à jour vers Photoshop 2026 sur PC Windows 11 le menu "Ouvrir avec" pour les fichiers .cr3 ne propose pas Photoshop 2026. Il en est de même pour les fichiers .jpeg . Il me faut d'abord ouvrir Photoshop 2026 et faire "Fichier ouvrir" pour faire ouvrir camera raw. Dans les applications par défaut pour .cr3, Photoshop 2026 n'est pas accessible dans le choix manuel.Photoshop 2025, lui, est accessible. I am having trouble getting my design to export for print the way I would like it. First, there are red rectangles around my text that shouldn't be there. Second, the design loses detail when I try to export it. How can I fix this? I will post pictures below.

I don't think this is a bug but more of an observation. A saved Curve file, .acv, created in the latest version will not be recognized in some earlier PS versions.I created a curve and tried to load it on another CPU running PS 2021. It would not load. Oh well...

I've recently upgraded several versions (due to certain features no longer working in newer versions of PS even though my specs all are green-checked 🙄) and I've noticed in my current version (26.11.0) that the action panel no longer jumps to the current step/action when playing an action via batch or a plugin button. This makes it incredibly difficult to find the action if I'm trying to locate an action to edit, or skip steps. Is this a bug? or is this intended behaviour and my previous version had a [VERY USEFUL] bug?

I open the Photoshop file and click Print.The windows print page opens.Whether I click Close or Print, the program closes without providing me with any details about the problem.Software it's updated.

In the last year, a new version was only working the day of installation.  Then, I was using the 24.7.5 Old Version.  Today, that old version is gone.Same crach problem even after deleting the "Use Graphincs processor" in the Preferences-Performance. <crash exception="EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION" exceptionCode="0xc0000005" instruction="0x00007FFBC9407B1C"> See the crah report included.

10/28/2025: I have just downloaded the latest Adobe updates for Photoshop, Lightroom, Lightroom Classic, and Bridge. When finished, Lightroom Classic wouldn't open and wouldn't update the catalog. Then I noticed that my SSD was full. I have a 500 GB SSD, and it has had about 250 GB on it for the last 8 years. Does anybody have a clue why this happened. Any info would be welcome.

I'm trying to automate something that I thought would be pretty simple but I haven't found a way to do it that works exactly as I want, basically sometimes I place a square selection on my canvas as I use it for a bunch of things, so I tried using an action to place that selection, but the problem is that the action saves the exact place on the cavas that I originally selected, and sometimes I'm zoomed in in another place on the canvas as it's a big document and the selection appears somewhere else, so I basically either need to select it manually which won't help with the other process or use the selection on that original place which will make me have to zoom out and then move the selection to the place that I want it to be, that happened to be the place I was zoomed at, and this process takes time, it seems like a simple thing to do, but I couldn't find any answer on this forum, I'm wondering if there's a way to do it, even if it has to be some workaround like creating a shape layer

Similar to another user's problem but, in my case, Photoshop doesn't give an error and just freezes. I use Photoshop to generate thumbnail images of PDFs created in InDesign, however this issue isn't restricted to files I've created but every other PDF which has, until the 2024 update, opened fine. I've tried dragging and dropping the file into Photoshop as normal. I get the 'select pages to open' dialogue box, and this is where Photoshop freezes. I can't select the Images tab or click any text boxes or anything. The only way to proceed at this point is to open Task Manager and End Task, which feels great (it doesn't). I've also tried File -> Open from within Photoshop, and right clicking the file to open in Photoshop, both to the same effect. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Photoshop 2024 with a system reboot in between, and I was able to click the 'OK' button fron the dialogue box, but Photoshop again froze before going any further, and now I'm back where I wa

For several months, I had issues where Liquify would not work on my Windows 11 system. To use the tool, I had to go all the way back to my PS 2022 version. (I always keep at least several back versions on my computer because I frequently run into issues where newer versions are wonky.) I solved the issue by resetting my preferences, which I hate doing because I have my own workspace I've created which suits my needs, and resetting [removed] that all up. So, after resetting, I worked with first Essentials workspace, then copied over my own workspace and Liquify was ok. Over the course of the past few days, I changed a few things to my workspace, adding some plugin panels, re-arranging some windows of pallets. now Liquify again does not work! What the heck is going on? It takes time to recreate the workspace I have used for years and am comfortable with to work quickly and efficiently. I've wasted hours trying to solve these issues. Another good reason to get rid of the subscription mode

Hi All,  I have a problem with Photoshop probably related to the RAM. I am trying to run a batch process in Photoshop, but after the processing of about 200 images Photoshop crashes. During one of the many crashes that I had, I saw the following error message “Could not build a preview because there is not enough memory (RAM)”. My machine has 32GB of RAM and when I run the batch process only 31% is used. The Photoshop version that I have installed is 22.3.0, and I am using Windows 10. I have already posted this problem one year ago. We could not find a solution, and I gave up. But now, I need to use Photoshop again, and I need to fix this bug asap.
