How to disable/hide this thing in home screen of photoshop? 

Cannot open PS current version message says "Catch in IPhotoshopApplication, exception encountered: require fed" (IphotoshopApplication is all one word)please help

every time i try to open up a new image, my photoshop closes. it originally began for images greater than 1000 pixels. but it evolved to all images i try to open. it originally did not do that, and what i tried to solve it was deleting images from my computer download (im not a computer expert). my computer is an HP Elitebook 745 g5 that still runs on windows 10 (since it cannot upgrade to 11)

PLEASE, PRETTY PLEASE… FIX this error!I get this error a lot with the Liquify and Camera Raw Filters.  I also upgraded to your latest PS version and it’s slow and filters don’t work correctly and it generally [cursing removed], thus I downgraded to PS 27.6!I pay $70 a month for the “privilege” of using Adobe products and this particular error has been prevalent for the last year.  Please FIX THIS ERROR before creating [cursing removed] !Nolan Win 10 box, 64GB ram, 40-50 TB Drives with serious thoughts of moving to Linux.Professional Photographer full time since 1984. I just updated my Photoshop this morning to version 27.9.0 and now, no matter what file format or options I use to export an image, the export appears washed out or sun-bleached.On a Reddit, I found the solution (posted 11 hours ago, very much in the same timeframe as I began experiencing it), which is to go into Preferences, under Performance, and uncheck Use Graphics Processor:https://www.reddit.com/r/photoshop/comments/1vak5kj/photoshop_update_and_now_my_images_look_washed/This should definitely be fixed. im trying to change the ppi of an image that is suppose to be at 1200 but reads as 72.  I open the image in Mac and resolutions reads 72 even thought the originator said its suppose to be 1200. I then open it in PS, go to image, size and change to 1200ppi & resample then save as.  Yet image is still at 72. How do I get art to stay & save at 1200?

I tried opening Photoshop this morning but I kept getting a message that it cannot open. I went to my Creative Cloud and it said Photoshop was not installed. It directed me to use Photoshop on the web browser. I downloaded the DMG file and opened it (working on a MAC) and it now works but ALL my Actions, Presets and Brushes from years of collection are gone. How do I get them back?

Issue summary: Since Photoshop 2025 (exact version unknown, but after 25.12.4) direction-based brush strokes, when set in the brush settings (Shape Dynamics - Angle Jitter - Direction), are not working properly. The very first 'pixel' of nearly every stroke is angled about 90 degrees perpendicular, before correcting itself immediately as the stroke continues. This breaks a previously working workflow. The problem is only mitigated by using external stabilisation (I’m using Lazy Nezumi Pro with light smoothing), which suggests the issue is related to how initial pen input samples are handled at stroke start. I also ideally need to have 1% smoothing enabled in Photoshop, or the bug can lightly reoccur occasionally. Using older Photoshop versions avoids the issue, but this is not a viable long-term solution due to other compatibility and stability concerns. There’s a new feature for the Remove Tool in PS 27.7.0, which allows for a local AI model that can be used “offline” and doesn’t require credits. It’s described here:  I meet the hardware and software requirements. Tried downloading this component / addon multiple times since yesterday, in PS and in CC App, but after 30-60 minutes the download always interrupts at 48% and it gives the error message “unable to extract files” and “error: code 127”. CC App lacks the basic function of resumable downloads, it always starts from the beginning. I have 630GB of free space, btw, so that’s not the issue. I did all the AI chat suggestions like deleting the Adobe temp folder contents on my root drive, giving full permissions for the folder, adding an exclusion for the folder in Windows 11 defender - none of that helped. Wasted a full hour in the chat with a human (?) or “human” agent that did not understand what the issue is, giving me completely irrelevant suggestions like “this feature does not

 After 27.8.2026 updates I face randomly several errors in Photoshop, Camera Raw and Lightroom. Freesing, closing, not exporting, memory issues. Anyone else? All those worked perfectly till the update. In Task Manager everything looks like before.

Hello allI am looking to ensure my workflow is optimised when I am working with RAW files through to the final print ready file.I normally open the RAW file and save it down as a PSD file. This is my working file.When I am happy with the image, I flatten the PSD and then save it as a TIF file. The flattened TIF can still be a large file size but I’ve always believed this is the best file format for the final design.Then that file is either printed as a standalone file or inserted into Indesign.I also resize the PSD and then save it as a web asset.I have come across creatives using TIF as the layered working file and also people using JPEG as the final file to either be printed or inserted into Indesign. I don’t normally use this workflow.Be great to get your thoughts. Thanks as ever.

Importeren en openen van C3 raw image vanaf Canon R6 mark III werkt niet in Photoshop voor ipad (7.8.2). Krijg melding dat er een probleem is opgetreden met de module interface. C3 raw images afkomstig van Canon R5 doen dat wel.In Lightroom voor ipad werkt alles naar behoren….ook voor de Canon R6 Mark III. 

I'm consistently getting the same problem where the image is displayed with a strong colour cast when it's perfectly neutral after conversion to Grey Gamma 2.2 in PS. I am using Edit>Convert to Profile (Advanced) to select convert to Greyscale Gamma 2.2 The change is instantaneous as preview is selected. I have tried other Greyscale options and all give the same colour cast. My monitors are obviously fully calibrated.I’ve now tried exported C1 files in Adobe RGB 98 and also Greyscale Gamma 2.2 and they too get the colour cast when converted and opened respectively in PS. This is a B&W conversion from a normal colour digital camera and I get the same when using those from a Monochrome sensor too.The image after conversion is perfectly neutral, it prints as such, but the strong cast in PS makes it nigh on impossible to make any meaningful changes and soft proofing is completely out of the question!!I need to print using Grey Gamma 2.2 for the QuadToneRIP in the making of digital n

Same thing happened to me with Photoshop. I had to rebuild my system twice and lost the ability to load my perpetual license. To fix the problem is a simple database update, changing the count from 2 to zero but they refused to do it. I have thousands of photoshop files, never thought it would be a problem until my last system rebuild. Now I have a perpetual license that I can use and am forced to pay monthly. Adobe is especially bad at driving everyone to their rent your software model so they can get a constant revenue stream because the software is at EOL but they still want to make money on it.
