Photoshop

Hello, I recently updated to PS 2025. I have never had any problems with timelines playbacks before. Sometimes it did lag when I was working with about 50 different layers but that was always to be expected. I work with muliple layers by painting and masking layers then fading them on top of each other to animate a satic image. Recently, after making any edits, my first play back drops to about 6.00 fps and it takes ages to review my work. I need it to run the whole playback first, then the second playback runs at normal speed; 30.00 fps. This is annoying as I contantly make tweaks and edits to my work so I can see that my animaion has a smooth trasition, and I need to playback at near normal speed on the first go! I have tired some of the tips and ticks suggested by adobe and the comminuy discussions. Increaing my memory usuage to 80% & deleting cache.  The effiency is saying around 40-50% on any playback. Sometimes it goes to 80% I've included some s

Hi Anyone able to help me... I accidently deleted PHOTOSHOP from my machine (it was giving me problems and thought deleting and re-installing would help) but now adobe is telling me my machine is no longer compatible with photoshop... can anyone direct me to a version of photoshop that will work for my mac... I'm running MAC OS 10.15.7 Catalina (OLD I know but that's where I'm at)Pauline 

Hey y'all, I previously had a 2023 version of Photoshop installed on my 2017 Mac Desktop (v 24 I believe), but I think an update removed it and replaced it with the latest version of Photoshop, which I don't want, as it runs TOO slowly on my older computer. Looks like versions 23 and 24 are no longer available, so upon uninstalling the latest version I replaced it with the oldest version available - version 22.2.  My 2017 Mac's operating system recently updated to OS Ventura 13.7.8  too (Photoshop 2023 / v 24  was installed prior to this OS update). Should I stick to Photoshop 22.2, or install version 25 instead?  

I'm trying to write a script that will select a contiguous section of fully transparent canvas, but not all transparency. How can I do this?If it helps, it's fine to assume that there are no pixels with partial transparency, so ignoring anti-aliasing or selection tolerance is okay. It's also okay to pick the contiguous section arbitrarily.

This may be a duplicate but gives me much more room to share. Seattle has a beautiful Ferris Wheel on its waterfront. I have been photographing this week in the evening, I have a photograph I like but it needs a sky replacement. Unfortunately the area between the spokes are not seen as sky so the sky replacement fails leaving all the space behind the wheel as plain gray. I am pretty new at Photoshop but I tried the selection tool which isolated the wheel, but still left all the area behind it as gray.

I want to print order forms for my clients, the image with the image number must be on the form. I can write the script for the placing of the image, but how do I include the image name/number. I have seen it done in Photoshop but I do not know how to include the file name Can som one help please [Personal email removed by moderator]

My Photoshop keep closing while i try to save a file any file at all, and jepg dont save well; it saves as if the file  is damaged 

I have a new desk top and I cannot get my photoshop to load - I get some stupid new sign up but I pay monthly - just give me thew photoshop I have been using for 20 years - I don't want to take the tutorial - this is amazingly stupid and annoying and I may have to cancel my subscription     [topic for "web" removed by moderator]      

I cannot open photoshop, and I am using creative cloud. Says scratch disk is full - but I don't want to switch to my external drive for scratch disk. Where is the scratch disk on my computer if I am using Cloud version of PS? I want to delete all temp files to clear the cache, but I cannot even open PS. Help please! 😃

I am trying to create text along a path but the text is stopping at the first anchor point (see image). I successfuly created the path (not a shape) and have been able to attach the text to the path, but can't get it beyond the first anchor point. When I am typing on the path I see the first anchor as a small circle with a cross in it - don't know if that's as it should be. Any thoughts about what I'm doing wrong? TIA

Hello,I was working on a number of art files today using Adobe Photoshop 2025 and, out of nowhere, I lost the ability to save my files as .jpegs.  I was able to save my drawings as jpegs earlier in the day.  JPEGs are the way I save and send clients my art files.  Did I inadvertently do something wrong?  How can I get Photoshop back to saving my artwork as jpegs?Thank you for your time.

I urgently need help quickly. As seen in the video, I want to combine the man and the car in Photoshop. When I put the man in the car frame, it doesn't look realistic. I thought I could create a more realistic background by expanding the car image sideways, with the man inside. Perhaps expanding the car itself would yield better results. The first problem is, as seen in the video, when I expand the car photo, the man disappears. When I expand the man, the car disappears. How can I fix this? Could you explain it clearly? If possible, with photos or a video, I'd understand better. Thank you.Note: I couldn't upload the video, I'll send it as an ss.

Hello everyone!As the title says, I can't see or enable the Harmonize option in my latest 26.10 Photoshop version. Can't find the update to 26.11 either.Weird thing is the fact that the Harmonize option is available to me via the Photoshop Web browser, but not on my native Macbook app.Yes, I've downloaded it and tried enabling it in Neural filters, but it didn't do the trick. Any ideas what this could be?

I tried to find the answer everywhere !Instead of the selected painting style using my image to generate the "Fill" I only get a generated image of what type of fill I asked for !Totally unusable now! Can any of you help me? I've been seeing a few people have had issues over time downloading the neural filters in Photoshop. The workarounds are old or not relevant to me. Has anyone solved the issue on Mac OS, running the latest version of Photoshop? I'm running Photoshop with the administrator account, I have tried an uninstall/reinstall of the software. Download always stays stuck at 0kb. I've been hoping it was just a bug that would get fixed over time, I really would find these features useful and hope someone has a solution.

Ho provato ad installare la versione stable di photoshop 26.0 ma non funziona nel mio Computer Windows poiche viene richiesta l'estensione AVX2 cosa che io non ho. Quindi mi chiedo e chiedo possibile che per poter utilizzare completamente il software dobbiamo sostituire i nostri PC? Credo che questa cosa rigurdi molti utenti della Adobe. Cosa si può sapere in merito?

Hola a todos, estoy intentando editar una foto para cambiar un vestido de una chica y necesito usar una imagen de referencia porque las opciones que me dan no me gustan. El tema es que donde deberia aparecer el icono para agregar una foto, no hay nada. Alguien sabe como puedo hacer para que esta opcion aparezca?Gracias!

Get rid of the Floating Contextual Menu, anchor it in a toolbar up top (or at least give an option to anchor it in a toolbar.The Contextual Task bar disappears on the regular and sometimes toggling the checkmark for "Contextual menu" in the "Window" menu (options, Toots, Contextual Menu) doesn't bring it back.I've found no benefit to allowing it to float around the screen and only gets in the way. Even when you anchor it, its in the way at some point. why not anchor it in the top bar somewhere so its ALWAYS there, probably help with it dissapearing and not coming back as well.examples of it being in the way (even when anchoring it) in a corner of the screen:• when you maximize the screen or unmaximize the screen, it stays in the same spot so its in the way and you have to move it.• when you have photoshop unmaximized and need to move it around your screen.• When you zoom in.• When you pop out menus.Also it can be easy to lose track of (Even when anchored), I would prefer it to be ancho

Hello Adobe Community. I have a problem with a noise layer. I am working on Photoshop to reproduce a lith effect on my pictures.In order to have noise , I created a gray layer, then added noise with the "Add noise" filter. The layer is in "Linear light" blending mode. At the end, when I flatten the image, the result is a picture where noise is very present and the photography appears very faded behind ????? See below the result with and without a noise layer.I work with the latest version of PS v26.10 A big thank to anyone who can provide me with an explanation for this strange behavior.

Bonjour,  depuis la nouvelle version je n'arrive plus à avoir le détail de tout ce que je fais dans l'historique, j m'explique, avant par exemple à chaque fois que j'utilisé le correcteur localisé l'action apparaissait dans l'historique, maintenant que je me serve une fois ou 10 fois du correcteur ce n'est noté qu'une seule fois. Existe t'il un moyen de détailler l'historique pour chaque action, comme avant ? merci
