Photoshop

Hi everyone! I'm looking for the best way to batch export my photos in Photoshop for Instagram and websize, with as little quality loss as possible. Unfortunately, scripts makes the photos less sharp  (apparantly it's an old system) compared to manually exporting them. But that takes a lot of time when you have a lot of photos to export. I learned about the Image Processor Pro plugin for Bridge, originally made by Russell Brown. However, when you look it up, there's several websites that offer the plugin or something like it. The original website of Russell Brown looks a bit old, so I'm not sure if it contains the most recent update, as there's no dates attached. However, I do of course want to be sure that the site I download the plugin from, is safe. Can any of you help me out? Thanks in advance! Any other tips related to exporting workflow in PS would be greatly appreciated too! 🙂

When I'm using Photoshop, I'm typically on the clock, under the gun, and nicelely stressed to get the project in front of me done productively, and beautifully. Your app is a production tool. My time for wonder at new functionality passed about 25 years ago.  Why do you obsolete standard features and functionality? Like, the new Gradients tool works in profoundly different ways. After 20 minutes of horsing around online, I found the solution: toggle to Classic.  Meantime, I'm losing time, burning cash, wasting my client's resources.  When Boeing makes a fundamental change on one of their airliners, do they neglect to tell their pilots? Oh, wait. It just occurred to me: Photoshop 25: Welcome to the Boeing 767 MAX of graphics programs. 

Bei mir ist dasselbe Problem. Allerdings habe ich auf der Startvolume keine 800GB frei, sondern nur mehr ungefähr 100. Dafür habe ich ein externes Volume zusätzlich angegeben und insgesamt stehen an die 200 GB für temporäre Dateien zur Verfügung. Bei mir kommt die Meldung unmittelbar nach dem Start, wenn ich die ersten kleinen Aktionen durchführen möchte.    Das ganze PS Abo ist vollkommen sinnlos und ich muss wegen dieses Fehlers auf Alternativen umsteigen. Dafür brauche ich kein Abo. 

Hello,I'm trying to write a function that changes the shape tool options. for example, changing them between path, shape, or pixel. Also, changing their "booleaning" options between "Combine Shapes" and the other options. Is that possible via scripting? I tried getting the code using ScriptListener but it didn't work in a script.

Hello! I had this dumb issue where Photoshop would freeze at startup and when a file is open. Hey folksThis should be an easy one, hopefully 🙂Im looking for help in scaling to a measurement i have in an image.I am making mockups showing prints at scale on customers walls, they send me a photo with something in the room i can scale to and give me the measurement. Ie a sofa width.Could you help me with the easy way to do this, i am pasting the image of the print into the customers photo.Im using CS6Muchos appreciated

I cannot right click properly with my Wacom Intuos Pro pen anymore in Photoshop or Photoshop Beta. Both are fully updated, my computer is up to date, everything is fine. I can still right click in other Adobe programs like Illustrator and InDesign as expected. I'm not totally sure when this happened, but it was very recent, within the last week. I think this bug may have been introduced with a Photoshop Beta update (26.9), because I don't remember updating regular PS (which I use most of the time) when this suddenly became a problem. I had recently updated PS beta to the most current version when I noticed the issue. Today, I updated regular PS to the most current version (26.8) with hopes it would fix the problem. It did not. For reference, I use the bottom button on my wacom pen as a single left click, and top button is set to right click. With the current bug, the top button behaves like a single left click, same as bottom button. All my settings are correct in Wacom

I'm using:- Photoshop V.  26.8.0- Mac 0S 13.5 .2 Ventura I'm using Photoshop as a timeline dustbuster and image masking scheme to restore old movies. To reproduce the bug: 1- Use the Lasso Polygon tool to create a selection around a specific area of an image,,    feathered 5-20 px.2- Fill the image with black or color. 3- With Option Delete fill the area defined over a specific frame. I note a streak of black or color has leaked out of the selection area.The direction from the selection appears to be random but consistent,marring an area of the frame I don't want touched. Best as always,Loren

Please help! I am attempting to use the generative fill feature in photoshop on my iPad. I use the crop tool to expand and I select the generative fill. However, I received the notification "no user consent for using generative features" when I click the "Generate" button. Is there anyone that can assist?

Hallo 😊, seit gestern lässt sich auf meinem PC Photoshop 2025 (die neueste Version 26.8.1) nicht mehr öffnen.Wenn ich es öffnen möchte, zeigt mit der Mauszeiger zwar an, das etwas geladen wird, aber es erscheint weder der Begrüßungsbildschirm von Photoshop noch das Programm selber.Öffne ich den Taskmanager, steht Adobe Photoshop 2025 zwar drin, aber ich kann auch nicht dorthin wechseln. Ich habe die neuesten NVIDIA Grafiktreiber installiert, habe Photoshop schon mehrfach deinstalliert und wieder installiert.Den Font Cache Ordner habe ich schon mal gelöscht... es will einfach nicht starten. Vielleicht kann mir hier jemand weiterhelfen?Wäre wirklich super 🤗.Liebe Grüße,FRederik

Hello all!  Earlier today I was trying to add a new graphic Style in photoshop by clicking the "new style" button on the Styles panel. The chat box appears asking me to type the "name" of the style and 2 more settings but after clicking "Ok" a message pops - see screenshot.  - I use Mac OS Sonoma. I tried going into the applications folder and granting read-write permissions to the photoshop folders but it did not work.Does anyone know what's hapenning here and how to fix it? Any information would be much appreciated! Thank you all.

I just got a new Dell Precision 7680 with Windows 11 and all Windows updates including BIOS and video are up to date.  Whenever I pick on a Photoshop 26.5 drop-down menu, the menu drops down as normal.....BUT when I move my mouse down to select one of the menu items, the menu items jumps to the left of it and drops down instead.  I've turned OFF "use graphics processor"I've reset PreferencesI've reinstalled twiceI've installed earlier versions too!.............nothing works. Note, Photoshop BETA v26.6 works fine.  I know I can just use that, but what's up with std Photoshop v26.5 (and other earlier versions!?) Note no.2, my old Dell Precision of 5 years works fine. 

HiThis might seem as a beginner's issue, however, I've REALLY searched Youtube and this Adobe community for a solution to export a CR2 file to a JPG file and keep metadata for creation date and time, as well as location data.  I have Adobe Photoshop 2025 and Bridge 2025. I'm running a MacOS, Sequoia 15.5.  From Photoshop, I have tried:Legacy "Save for web"Save AsSave a copyetc. From Adobe Bridge I have triedRight click any cr2 file -> Export To - > Custom Export and set all settings to save ALL metadata. So far, nothing works! When I look at the file in MacOS Finder, the creation date & time is the same as the time I did the export. Source files (in Finder) have original creation date and time. Any help would be appreciated.

How do I change the background color of the Menu Bar. I wish to have a  Black background and lthe letters white, and if later I whish to return to its default setting.

Does anyone know how to disable the infuriating tutorial popups for Adobe Photoshop online? They make it practically unsuable until you go through the tutorials and I can't find a way to disable them. I'd use regular photoshop if they would let me pay outright for it and not download Adobe CC which is indistinguisable from spyware and slows down my relatively high-end system dramatically.

Hello, I'm on PS 25.0.0 and I use a Macbook Pro 2019. I scan my larger art with the Epson 850 Perfection Pro scanner. And I use PS Photomerge to assemble/digitize my art and it does well except for one thing: It leaves off slim slices of the edges so I have to crop my image smaller to compensate.  And for art, this is oftentimes a bad idea.  I have another way I do it but it's tricky. I scan so that I leaves space around the corners but the images have to be aligned well (90 degrees or very near) for Photomerge to work.  When I've scanned and aligned them well Photomerge merely eats the edges that I left off to begin with in the scanning.  But I wonder if I'm missing something and that  there could be a more realistic solution? I've been scanning things this way (leaving blank edges when scanning) for years.  Keep in mind these are Not photos but art - usually watercolors on paper. Many Thanks for any Assistance,Frank B. &nbsp

Hi everyone,I’m having trouble with Photoshop not loading any files from the cloud. It shows that there’s no connection and the loading process doesn’t even start.I’ve already restarted Photoshop and my computer, but the issue persists. My internet connection is stable, and Creative Cloud itself seems to work fine – it just won’t sync or load the cloud files inside Photoshop.I’ve attached a screenshot of the error so you can see exactly what’s happening.Has anyone else experienced this or know how to fix it?Thanks in advance for any help!

I would like to put two pictures together, it is a group picture in which I would like to add a person. Is there an automated way I can do this in Photoshop Beta?

Hi,I created an illustration using watercolor brushes so they have many gaps in the strokes to simulate real watercolor. In addition, some of the layers utilizing this effect have the opacity turned down for a transparent effect for blending effect.I need to convert the same 3 colors I utilized for each brush stroke to different colors. (specific colors)How can I achieve this considering the delicate nature of each watercolor brush stroke and varying opacity %s factored in?I need a bullet-proof technique. Thank you.

I am running Photoshop 26.8.1 on my 2019 Mac Pro (macOS Sequoia 15.5). Recently I have noticed that the vertical lines from the sides of displayed panels and the grayed out areas below the panels and toolbar have disappeared. Here is a screenshot:  This seems to be working normally with Photoshop on my MacBook Pro. What do I need to do to restore the lines and grayed out areas below the panels and toolbar? Thank you, Stan
