Some times I get following message Window when using Generative Fill. How to fix it? guidelines do not help me. My Ps is a latest version.
I use Windows 10. Use Photoshop only for image adjustments and manipulation.Installed Photoshop 2025 and have 2 main problems. 1. After opening a jpeg image, if I crop the image and want to save it again in jpeg I cannot.. The "save as" option only shows PSD. I can only save in jpeg as a copy.2. If I open a jpeg image, crop it, then want to adjust it using the Camera Raw Filter I see only in the Camera Raw window the full (original) image and not the cropped image.I downloaded also the Photoshop 2024 version and the problem persists.Only using Photoshop 2021 version can I obtain good results.Thank you.
Hello everyone, First time posting here! I am a senior graphic designer working on a Creative Studio. We recently purchased new screens to update our working experience. Dell 27’ Ultrasharp (3840x2160 resolution). To my surprise I noticed that images in Photoshop started to appear smaller than usual when I used “View > 100%” . I contacted an Adobe agent through chat and I was informed that my screen resolution is way too big for the program therefore I won’t be able to see the real size of my artworks. This is essential for me in order to work fast and be accurate. When will that update can be expected? I feel that it is one of the basic needs for the majority of graphic designers working on digital material for online commerce.Thank you in advance!Mari
I just upgraded to Sequoia on the Mac, and just updated my Adobe programs. When I launch it is asking me if I want to "Skip loading optional and third-party plug-ins?" I'm not aware if I need this or not??? My old version of PS never asked me this when I launched. Why is this doing this now? And what do I want? I'm not really sure.... If I had plug-ins in the past, I'm not really aware what they were, as I don't recall. Help!
An artist wants to share a photoshop file for me to view. Adobe constantly asks for me to request access. This causes long delays in workflow. can access be made permanent with a sgared folder?
All of a sudden when I try using my paint bucket or eye dropper or color picker it will interpret the color I choose in a grey. It is utilizing the grey scale only. What happened. I am working in CS3. Does anyone know how to fix this?
My OS is Windows 11. This presenter works with Ps (Beta). How to get "Image Processing" as shown in the video. NEW Photoshop auto masks, the part NO ONE is talking abouttime: 1.21
When Photoshop is in a modal state during executeAsModal() then the entire UI thread is blocked. That makes it hard for me to improve the user experience with my UXP Photoshop plugin. I program extensive layer blending operations for star trail processing. This can easily take many minutes or hours once started depending on file size and quantitiy of imported photos. Since mouse clicks cannot be processed at all during modal state and hence the UI is not responding I wonder if there is another "hack" to introduce a Cancel button rather than just pressing the escape keyboard button to abort operations.Does anybody know whether this will ever be possible somehow in the future? As much as I understand that modal state is not a bad thing I'm not happy with the user experience. The fact that running operations can't be stopped from a user interface is annoying. However, I know... there are worse things after all... 😉
I've never had this problem before. I'm running CS5 Extended 64-bit. Here is my problem:I have an image with text on it. When I open the image, everything looks fine. But if I rotate it with the tranform tool, the image then becomes noticably pixelated. This has never happened before... or at least I don't think it has. It's really distracting and looks horrible. Could someone please help me out? What's going on and how do I fix it? I just opened up Photoshop tonight and it started happening. Below is an example of what's happening. The original image: After rotating with Tranform tool: Notice how the edges are not as smooth as the original. The same thing happens when I try to re-scale the image... what's going on!!?

Hi everyone,I often work with rasterized text layers where Layer Styles (like gradients) are lost. Manually recreating gradients using the Eyedropper tool takes too much time, Therefore, I'm looking for a script that can:1, Auto-detect and extract the gradient from a rasterized layer.2, Recreate the gradient and save it as a Custom Gradient in Photoshop.3, (Optional) If possible, restore other lost Layer Styles like strokes or shadows.I repeat this task often, so automation would be a huge time-saver. Any guidance or script suggestions would be deeply appreciated!🙏 Huge thanks in advance!
What is the layer that the red arrow is pointing to? And how do I get it like that? How is it different from a normal layer with a checkerboard pattern? I've tried many methods but still can't find the way I want. If I typed something wrong, I apologize. I just started using Photoshop for the first time a few weeks ago. Some of them don't look like chipping mask because some of them just have a + symbol behind them. It's a layer that has a small thumbnail in the layer that is the work we created. I don't know what it is.
Existing machine: Photoshop 25.12.1, Windows 10 (latest)New machine: Photoshop 26.4.1, Windows 11 (24H2, latest) On this page (https://helpx.adobe.com/ie/photoshop/using/preset-migration.html), updated just this past October 2024, Adobe describes how to migrate user preferences, actions, presets, etc. to a new computer. It recommends using Edit > Presets > Export/Import Presets as the tool for achieving migration to a new machine. This tool does not exist in either my old machine or new machine. In various other threads here, and in other Adobe web pages, I see that the standard help response seems to be "just find where the various files are stored and copy them to the new machine". And yes, I've looked at your web page that describes where all of these files are stored, but I'm now skeptical about trusting that information. I find this really unacceptable on two counts: 1) Adobe does not have a current published user-frien
Is there any logic to using dedicated graphics card for photoshop and intergrated graphics for the display? Windows 11, Intel i7 - 14700, 32 GB memoryIntefgrated Intel UHD 770 graphics32" 4K displayLatest Photoshop 2025 installedNo gaming - ever. Everything performs to my satisfaction except denoise for lg RAW files runs 7 to 10 minutes. I'm about to install an RTX 3050 6MB dedicated card. Just wondering... can I configure the dedicated card for photoshop and keep my display on the integrated card? Only thinking of doing this to allow all resources of the dedicated card to go to photoshop while the 4K display would be handled by the integrated GPU. Not sure if this has any merit, if performance gains would be meaningful, of if other complications might arise. Expertise appreciated. Joe W.
I am looking to upgrade my OS from Windows 10 to 11 and noticed there are some new features regarding color management. Specifically the new "Auto Color Management" ACM system. Does this system conflict at all with the Adobe color management system? Are there any settings or parameters that I need to be aware of/disable for a proper color-managed workflow? I use a wide gamut hardware calibrated display (in native gamut).
I'm using Photoshop for the first time in a while. I have just downloaded PS 25.11.0, but I don't know the previous version I used. I want to focus stack photos to bring multiple objects into focus. I am following a tutorial on YouTube that I have used in the past (4K focus stacking with Panasonic Lumix camera) and has worked well previously. I have rendered a video image and the files are visable and can be opened individually. When I go to File>Automate>photomerge I select Browse and choose my photos from a folder on my desktop, which is an Inspiron 15 5510 with 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-11370H @ 3.30GHz 3.00 GHz. When I hit OK I get the following error message: "file cant be opened because it was moved or deleted". However, the files have not been moved nor deleted and none have been removed from the sequence. I have done this before on my previous laptop and had no problems merging the photos.
Hi,Is there a wayt to save the filter visibility when creating a layer comp.If I save 2 layer comps, one with the filter invisible:and the other when it is visible:Both layer comps show the last state, in this case visible.Of course I select all the layer comp options when created.
I've been using these CTRL-Shift-F1 => F10 for different functions for decades.Photoshop not allowing Shift F1 and F2 to be remapped is really frustrating.I still have to use CS6 to avoid these arbitrary changes.

Hey everyone, Looking for help with Photoshop. I am working on an NFT collection, and need to export each image in my layers as a PNG file. The issue I am experiencing is that: My working canvas size is 2000 x 2000. However, my indiviudal images have their own WxH of course. When I go to export them as PNG, the default canvas size is the size of the image WxH. If I change the export canvas size to 2000 x 2000, it centers the image to the canvas, rather than keeping it in the position where I drew it in the layer. I need to know how to keep the image location the same on the 2000 x 2000 canvas when I export. Any help here would be much appreciated!
How to automate the creation of panoramas (or HDR photos) from many groups of photos. That is, create, for example, 10 different panoramas from 10 different groups (e.g. 5 each) of photos with one click? Stacks, batch processing? I try on stacks - it doesn't work.

At least I KNOW ya'll will understand my agony! I'm using a Slim Blade Pro on a Mac Display, Sequoia 15.3.2. 99% of my work is in Photoshop/InDesign, with lots of image editing. My latest conundrum is this...Virtually every time I click on a layer in a multi-layered file in Photoshop it opens the Layer Style options window. If I try to move 4 layers, yes, it opens Layer Style window 4 more times.I've contacted Kensington, Adobe and yeah, here I am. Is there a way to deactivate the Window Style option/window? I can't get anything done, as each task takes 4x longer. Also, my trackball has gotten picky about grabbing. I can't move open images/pages/ anything we all normally drag a bazillion times a day. Maybe one out of three grabs works. Trackball is a year and a bit old. Mac Studio M2 Ultra is a year and a half old. This stuff should just work. I've reinstalled software 3x and gone back and forth between KensingtonWorks and SteerMouse. Tried to use the beta of Kensington
My brushes were working just fine for a few hours and now I have tried for several hours to use my brushes in Photoshop and they will not work. They are photoshops standard bruses. I closed it and re-open. I have tried to do a simple hue/saturation adjustment layer and brush white to teeth and it is not working. Help me if you have any answers. I use an I Mac and I am in Photoshop 2025.
I am using Hebrew keyboard in Adobe Photoshop and the shortcuts like ctrl J doesn't work. I have to change my keyboard to English
