In the bottom right of this photo, there is neon purple color that is shining on the otherwise golden architecture of the inside of this hotel (Mariot Marquis hotel in Atlanta, GA). I want to get rid of the purple and replace it with the same color pixels as the rest (orange/gold). I am not sure what tool to use. I tried the healing brush but it changes the pixels and not just the color! And desaturating purple just leaves an unappealing white blob. Please help!
Hi,I’ve seen multiple users report this issue over the past few months: the Delete key only works occasionally (around 1 in 10 times) when using the Lasso Tool.I only found one developer/moderator reply, but the suggested fix didn’t help.At first, I tried closing overlapping UI panels, and even Spotify, Firefox... but that didn’t fully resolve it.The only solution that worked for me was rolling back to an older version. I'm currently using version 26.0, and the issue is gone.I hope the dev team can fix this soon, it’s been going on for nearly a year. Thanks!
Hi Photoshop Team,I have a feature suggestion that could improve the Quick Mask experience. Currently, when using Quick Mask mode and brushing a large circle or shape, it only paints the mask along the brush stroke — it doesn’t auto-fill the inside of the shape like the Remove Tool does.It would be incredibly useful if Photoshop could recognize a closed brush stroke (like a circle) in Quick Mask mode and automatically fill the enclosed area, similar to how the Remove Tool or Lasso Tool with Content-Aware Fill works. This would speed up masking workflows, especially when selecting large or simple shapes.Optional behavior could be:If the stroke closes, Photoshop detects it as a shape and fills the inside.Maybe a modifier key (like Shift or Ctrl) could trigger the fill behavior after completing a closed stroke. Thanks for considering this! It would be a powerful addition to the already great masking tools.
I am having problems with Photoshop. Generative fill. But I have no problems with the Internet and yesterday I updated all the programs
After installing Photoshop, there are six Adobe processes running continuously on my computer:Adobe Content SynchronizerAdobe Content Synchronizer Finder ExtensionCreative Cloud Content Manger.appCreative Cloud Interprocess ServiceCreative Cloud Libraries Synchronizer How can I prevent these extraneous processes from running on my computer when I am not running Photoshop (or any other Adobe app)? I only use Photoshop locally, so I have no need for Creative Cloud or synchronization. I dislike that these six processes run continuously on my computer even if I only use Photoshop for one hour a month. This behavior is more like a virus than like a carefully crafted software tool.
I reset my photoshop preferences but it is stilll not showing up, even though it is selected in the Window menu. I've been waiting for the Adjust Colours from Beta to be added to the regular version. Anyone else having this issue? Any tips on getting it back?
Hello All,Not sure is this is the right place for this but here goes:Since upgrading my computer from a iMac to a Studio and the Mac OS to Ventura along with the Adobe suite of apps, all my Workspaces no longer remember the position of my pallettes on the secondary monitor. Every time I close all open documants and then go back into Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc the pallettes are all piled up on one another or in the wrong monitor.Very maddening.Any ideas what went wrong?TIAEric
i was using the font montserrat bold for some words, now it changes automatically to another generic font every time i select bold instead of regular or some other variation i havent used yet.
I'm eager to try out the new perspective warp feature of the latest Photoshop update but the point is greyed out in the menue and I can't figure out how to activate it ("use graphic processor" is turned on in the preferences). I have tried it with a merged image file, with a seperate layer active, with a selection active - no luck. Does anyone else have this problem?

Hi everyone ! I've kind of a silly question: Are AppleScript still usable in Photoshop 2025 ? For some reason when put in the Photoshop --> Presets --> Scripts folder, quiting and launching back Photoshop, I can't find them in the File --> Script, nor can I execute them manually when I browse through my computer files.Did I miss an update or Adobe really wants up to use UXP / ExtendScript for scripting ? Thanks in advance for your answers !Version of the app: Photoshop 2025.Platform and OS version: macOS 15.3.2.Basic steps to reproduce the problem: Adding a AppleScript to Photoshop 2025 --> Presets --> Scripts.Expected result and actual result: expected: the scripts show up in File --> Scripts section, like in Illustratoractual: nothing aside from custom .jsx files show up.

Hello everyone! I'm running on Adobe Photoshop version 24.6.0 on Windows 10 and having a frustrating experience of my swatch panel repeatedly deleting folders and their contents.I work in marketing and have to manage a number of colors specific to individual brands. The folders I have been creating over the past month seem to just be deleting themselves after a couple days. Fortunately all of the colors I have been saving to the swatch panel have also been being saved to my library. Is there a way I can prevent this from happening? I can certainly swap over to using just my library, however the "recently used" strip in the swatch tab is massively convenient.Thank you!
Photoshop (version 23.2.1) won't recognize my Radeon (AMD) 5450 GPU, even though it seems to meet all the stated specifications. Please see attached screenshots.
How to remove a background quickly Did you know there’s a Remove Background Quick Action that removes the background from your image in one click? Head over to Photoshop and give it a try! Open Photoshop ❶ Open an image in Photoshop ❷ Open the Discover Panel Open the Discover Panel by clicking the magnifying glass icon at the upper right of the app workspace, selecting Help > Photoshop Help from the main menu, or by typing the keyboard shortcut Cmd/Ctrl + F. ❸ Choose the Remove Background Quick Action Navigate to the Browse section, expand the Quick Actions list, and select Remove background. ❹ Optional: Edit the layer mask You should now see your image on a transparent background. If you are happy with the selection, you can skip this part. However, if you want to bring back some areas of the image or hide other areas, you
In order to be able to edit a PS document in Fresco, the document must be in 8 bits, to convert the 16-batter document to 8 bits, it is necessary to pass through PS on a computer. You have to add this option on PS on iPad to be able to solve this problem without leaving the iPad, you don't always have a computer with either.
Kindly consider adding an Auto Mask checkbox to the Brush Tool. It would be a highly valuable feature. I'm familiar with the Object Selection Tool. Just not the same.
When trying to view masked area on an adjustment layer (with short key \) it shows as inverted (red area is unmasked, and plain area is the mask.) I tried to to use quick mask setting to show masked areas but it doesnt change it back. I never had this issue until this verision. Is it a bug or is now the masked areas clear?
There are lots of files that were deleted but the images remain in the Home folder. How can I delete those images from the home folder or completely empty the Home folder?
Why when I enlarge and extend a window to occupy the entire screen, does it get cut off at the bottom??This same thing happens also in InDesign but not Illustrator. The correct behaviour is for the bottom edge of the window to lock in place and not go "off the screen".This is driving me nuts...
Ok I called Adobe on this one and the guy could not figure it out and when he put me on hold to ask someone he hung up on me. It seems like the files are all opening at 57% zoom. and this sets the image in a gray field and i have to grab the zoom tool each time and click on it to fix it. Every time i open an image. so frustrating! Can any one help. I just want the images to open with no gray around them like they used to for 20 years.
While configuring PhotoShop (PS) so that it reproduces the same colors on the computer screen for images that I import from another DCC app, I noticed that, while it was possible to get the correct colors by chaning the settings in View: Proof Setup: Monitor RGB, this only affected the PS workspace and did not save the color profile with the image when saving out of PS. So then I noticed that the Save File dialogue box has a Color section with the option to Use Proof Setup, but it is always greyed out no matter which file type the image is saved to or which options are checked/unchecked in the Save dialogue box. Why is the Use Proof Setup always greyed out in the Save File dialogue box? How can one get it to be a selectable option? Or, what is some other way that one can get the Proof Setup color profile to save with the image?
Hi Adobe Community,I'm looking to create a radial distortion/displacement effect on an image — kind of like it's being warped from the centre outward, almost like a ripple, spin, or lens-distortion burst. Think of it like the image is pulling or stretching out from a central point.I'm working in Photoshop (but open to Illustrator or After Effects if that’s better), and I’d love to achieve this effect in a non-destructive or editable way if possible.A few questions:What’s the best tool or filter to start with for this kind of radial distortion?Would a displacement map work better than the distort > polar coordinates filter? Can I use a gradient map or radial pattern as a base for the displacement?Any plugins or brushes you’d recommend for this?If anyone has a method they love — or even just keywords or tutorials to look up — I’d be really grateful. 🙌Thanks in advance for your help!
Remove tool not working what is the solution 😔
