Photoshop

Every morning when I open Photoshop and first file, there is a lag in every operation I do, after some short time it works well.It feels like Photoshop is slowly accelerating to its normal performance.It is happening after 27.6. 0 update on Win 11It wasnt a case before 27.6.Anyone has similar experience or suggestion, what could be problem??

Starting from scratch with a blank canvas, there is only Firefly 3 available. No Gemini, no Flux, no Firefly 5. This must be a bug, right?

There are delays in activating my Photoshop license within my company and I have exhausted my trial period, so I have found until then as an alternative: Photopea​ It seems to do the trick for the moment, but I would like some input from the more experienced users before working and commit-ing with it.I'm sure it is not as good as Photoshop, but I would like to know:1. What are the downsides to using Photopea?2. Can you export to all PNG versions that you can in Photoshop?3. Does Photopea display fonts like Photoshop does?To be honest, I would only be using it for exports from an already finalized PSD file, so the differences in exportation are most crucial to me.

Hi everyone~I've recently given up on fixing this problem after trying countless solutions I've gathered from around the world. So the question is: Is there a way to detect a corrupted PSD/PSB file using libraries like PSD-Tools (checking without opening the file in Photoshop)? Reading the file header doesn't seem to identify the problem...My day pretty much revolves around:1/ Opening the file (perfectly normal) and editing it2/ Saving the file3/ Fack at the end of the day because the PSD file won't open because photoshop displaying a 'could not complete your request because of a program error' popup immediately upon opening.Rasterizing the entire text layer partially solves the problem, so I suspect the issue lies with the text layers. But my work requires me to keep the entire text layer; I can't rasterize them...Does anyone have a solution?(Please refrain from suggesting obvious solutions that already exist, as I have already tried almost all of them)  

If I use PS Raw to add a vignette, it has to be the last thing I do before retuning to Photoshop. Otherwise the vignette disappears. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong. (I'm on Win11 with the most recent PS version)

How can a website design be adjusted in Adobe Photoshop when it looks too artificial, flat, or unrealistic, and the goal is to make the layout, colors, images, and overall appearance feel more natural, genuine, and believable?

Hello,my laptop has no AVX2-support (Core i7 3rd Generation) and when I try to install Photoshop on it it fails.I know that the laptop is old but it is still fast enough for me.I read that PS 25.7 should run on that CPU.But in the CreateiveCloudCenter I canot download old versions anymore.Where do I get an old version of PS?I pay 750 Euro every year to adobe and cannot access old versions? Hi there,Something has gone horribly wrong with Photoshop 2023, select & mask tool, specifially when I click 'select subject'. It comes up with a message saying "Couldn’t find a subject to select.There might not be prominent objects in the image." This is 100% not true. I am using a high quality Getty image, I've never had problems with Getty images ever before, and this one doesn't evn have a particularly busy background. As a test I re-installed an earlier verison of 2022, and it selects the subject perfectly. This bug MUST be fixed because something is terrible wrong here and the latest update didn't even fix it. FYIThis problem initially persisted on version 24.0.1, and then today I noticed an update to 24.1.0 hoping this was a fix to look forward to, and still no luck. I have also included a screen grab so you can see my settings (which have never changed, so there's no reason why it would be affected).

In version 27.4 everything works correctly and consistently. As soon as I update to 27.5 or newer, the same Actions fail.Lets say: I have cropped picture to 30cm x 20cm.Now, in 27.6 I want to run my actions, that works when I do rollback to 27.4:After running the action this happens:first step looks okay, now: after few steps it does, it will throw: ,,Command “transfer” is not available now” … This happens with many tools, not just transform. When I do rollback to 27.4, none of this happens. Hello Everyone, I've had this issue for a little while now and I can't see to find the solution doing a Google search. If I have an image in Photoshop that I'm finished with and I need to export it as a .png file, I'm often gettting a transparent border that's visiable on the exported file. If I add that image to a webpage, there's a faint grey line visible around the frame. If I bring that same exported .png back into PS and zoom in, there's a visible frame all around the image that looks to have transparent pixels. Those transparent pixels are not present in the original PS file.  I'm assuming it's a simple fix, I just can't seem to find it. I do drop the pixel size dimensions a little before exporting the .png. As an example, the original PS file might be 1412 W x 1521 H, and I downsize to 928 W x 1000 H for the .png export. Has anyone else had this happen, and is there a solution? I've attached close up screenshots of a white corner area where in the original PS

Hi,I’ve encountered an issue in Adobe Photoshop 2026 and the Beta version.In my workspace, I have multiple shapes filled with plain white color. However, whenever I select more than one shape at the same time, they all automatically switch to a gradient fill.I want to be able to control or change the colors of each shape individually, but when they are selected together, Photoshop applies the same gradient to all of them.I’m not sure if this behavior is caused by a setting or if it’s a bug.I’ve attached a short video showing the problem.Versions:Photoshop 2026Photoshop BetaOperating System: Windows 11Has anyone else experienced this issue or found a solution?Thanks in advance!

I am writing this because I am completely fed up with the latest updates. Photoshop is a professional work tool, not a video game. It is like changing a mechanic's screwdriver every two days—we are here to work, not to waste time dealing with constant bugs and changes nobody asked for.The latest updates have completely ruined the Actions and Batch processing system. Every time a new version comes out, basic features stop working:Actions completely forget some saved parameters Sometimes is forcing me to click "OK" dozens of times manually, where before was completely authomatic. Teh new action panel is so unprofessional as well, where before you made two clicks now you make like 3 or 4 clicks and you even dont know if its saving properly or what is happening.We are paying an expensive monthly subscription for a stable workflow, not to act as beta testers for new gimmicks while the core production tools are constantly broken.Also everyday your ecosistem is more and more intrincate, claud

i logged on one day to none of my designs being in my home screen as if i had just downloaded photoshop for the first time can anyone explain how to get them back i kept seeing a scratch disk error right before loading in

When sampling an area with the clone stamp tool, upon clicking where you want to paint with the cursor, it automatically creates a paint line between sample and cursor. Sometimes the link isn’t even logical it’s just crazy and random and all over the place. Reset app, updated photoshop, reset clone stamp tool, reset preferences. I got a “scratch disk full” message once when opening so I deleted a bunch of stuff and it still has the issue.  

I do retouch work and am redrawing line art backgrounds and Photoshop has HUGE issues when zooming in and trying to rotate the canvas. I am constantly having to hit the escape key to get the program to release from whatever it is doing when it gets confused as I zoom in and then try to rotate the canvas. Sometimes it will switch to the eyedropper tool when I am trying to zoom back out.I am using the TourBox elite controller while doing this. Plug in is installed correctly. But it could be the controller that is causing the issue.Both programs are updated. It does work better with the Photoshop’s internal rotation - but are there any settings I can tweak to get it to work better with TourBox?It is much much worse since I updated to the 27.6.0 release.Anyone else here have similar issues?

I'm using Photoshop on my iPad and want to print images to a photo printer. I want to be able to specify height, width, dpi, and place where on the media the image will print. Is it possible and how can I do it?

I am using MacOS 26.4.1 with Photoshop 26.3.1. The grid view in Home panel is failed to render and I only can use list view. And another error is when first open the app it will not load any recent files until I open 1 file and back to home panel. 

 I am experiencing another issue with Photoshop 2025 on macOS.A DNG file generated through Lightroom Super Resolution cannot be opened in Photoshop.Error message:“The file-format module cannot parse the file.”The same file still opens normally in Lightroom, so the DNG itself does not appear to be completely corrupted.Workflow:Canon R5 CR3 → Lightroom Super Resolution → DNG → Photoshop 2025 fails to openThis looks like a Camera Raw / file parsing issue between Lightroom and Photoshop.Has anyone else experienced this? 

Hi,I’ve been having an issue in Photoshop where the adjustments tab periodically becomes greyed out, making it impossible to add an adjustment layer by clicking on the the appropriate type. Restarting Photoshop resolves the issue temporarily. I’ve tried a number of troubleshooting steps including trashing and rebuilding preferences and reinstalling the application but nothing has resolved it. Photoshop 27.5.0. MacBook Pro M3, MacOS 26.4.1. Any help to resolve this would be much appreciated.
