Photoshop

The generative fill has been stopped working for a week, and it says "try later" when it fails, and sometimes it says "not working in your region." I'm using the latest version of Photoshop, and I've tried installing previous versions, but I'm still experiencing the same issues. What's the problem?

Hey there, can you help me out?Normally, I can use the "Copy SVG" feature in Photoshop on any layer and paste it directly into Figma or Illustrator. But ever since I got a new PC and reinstalled Photoshop, I can't copy layers anymore. I can still copy SVG from shapes and vectors within Photoshop, but with regular layers, I get this error. When I checked the code, it looks like this: ...<svg xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2000/svg" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" width="827px" height="645px"> <image x="0px" y="0px" width="827px" height="645px" xlink:href="data:img/png;base64," /> </svg>I'm wondering if I'm missing something or if Photoshop changed something in a recent update. It's super inconvenient. I have another laptop that still works fine with the "Copy SVG" feature, so I don't know why it's not working on my PC. I know there are other ways, like exporting the file, but I really prefer the copy-and-paste feature because it's so much more convenient.I'm

This is a PNG image. You can see there is bounding box [BB] around it. Is it possible to increase the size of the BB while retaining the size of the image? I ask this because I want to export this image to be used in Ae. If I can do this I can solve a issue in Ae.  

Photo will not download

Trying to use generative ai and I keep getting ‘This feature is currently unavailable’. I have logged out and back in. Updated to the latest Photoshop beta. Checked the status and no issues. Not sure what to do next?

When I try to open photoshop on my laptop it says this messageCatch in IphotoshopApplication, exception encountered filesystem error: in directory:permission denied{"user/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop 2026 OCIO"}  I have updated my laptop software, tried changing permissions and deleting/redownloading the app. 

We have a studet in our school. She createdAdobe cloud data. After the left the school, here Adobe account was deactivated. I saw here account but not as an active one. I shared here data with my Adobe account and was able to download a .zip file. This file contains a couple of .psdc file, but these files can’t be used in Photoshop for example. We want to help the studet to either:Convert the Adopbe Cloud files (.psdc) or Activate here Adobe student account, that she is able to work with the cloud data by here own.

Everytime I open a TIFF file and work on it, I need to go SAVE AS complete dialog to be able to set LZW compression. If I just do SAVE the tiff compression is always set to NONE. Why? Is there a way to fix the option to LZW permanently?

Making selections on a transparent layer, where opacity gradient is involved, around the edge of the transparency, does not function correctly.Repeatable scenario:This works exactly the same in version 26.11.3, and version 27 (not sure which specific version).Set up a document in RGB, 8bit colour, so that you have a single layer that is fully transparent. why is photoshop version 26 now bad at AI? is version 27 much different? Since the new version came out, I can't create realistic images with AI. It used to be pretty good, now it's extremely artificial and inaccurate. Am I wrong?

Hi everyone, first post here.   I've spent the last few hours trying to figure out how to open HEIC files in CS6.   I installed the 2 Microsoft extensions everyone has mentioned but it still wouldn't work.   Then I searched all of the threads where people said the extensions didn't work but could find no solution there, either.   Windows 10 64 bit pro machine.   Up to date.Thx, Chris 

Mac mini M1, running macOS Tahoe 26.3.1 — When double-clicking (or using: ⌘ + O  or  ⌘ + ↓) a photo in the Finder it fails to bring Photoshop 26 to the foreground that is in a different Space or Virtual Desktop. At that point, I have to manually switch to the virtual desktop that Photoshop is assigned to. Thank you in advance for your consideration — long-time Adobe user.

Attached is a low resolution image of my wife and her Mom.  The area on my wife’s forehead that looks like a defect is actually her bangs.  What is the best method to clean this up so it actually looks like her hair and not a defect?

Hello! I want to report a bug. Until the last version, it was set up so that the folder to which the export is made was saved with the document. This had the advantage that the next time you continued working on the project file, the correct folder was automatically suggested during the export without having to search for it. But since the update, the location of the last export process within Photoshop is always suggested. So if I had exported something in another project in the meantime, I end up in the folder of the other project in the next project. This means that I have to search for the export folders again and again, because they are no longer stored in the document. This slows down the work considerably. 😞 So I ask you to fix this error. Thanks!

I have tried several times in the last couple of months to install and run Photoshop 2026.  I have completely uninstalled it each time before trying again.  I did find and delete an old folder from Photoshop 2021 in C:\[User]\AppData/Roaming, and then rebooted my computer.  Still no luck.Is there a log I can upload that would identify what the issue is?By the way, Windows 11 is current on updates.Thanks for any advice.

There are three layers in the image. Is there any way to convert this layers into three PNG images in one go?. I know to do one by one but I want altogether in a single shot  

I use Photoshop every single day professionally, and the new “Fill and Expand” model has been a major downgrade in every way I have tried to use it.For context, 100% of my usage with Gen Fill does not use any text prompting at all, just whatever info is available nearby in the image.Firefly 3 struggles with some things, but Fill and Expand’s blending, textures, and nearby comprehension are often awful and unusable.Since the new update, every time I open a new image Gen Fill defaults to that new model, rather than remembering my switch to Firefly 3 as it has in previous updates. Is there a new setting somewhere I can change that? I’ve looked and cant seem to find anything, but it’s very annoying. 

Sorry to bring this up again, previous thread is locked. The bug that has run throughout all of version v26 of photoshop is still here on my machine on v27. After opening a couple of raw files the 'Could not open 'file name' because of a program error' dialog is displayed until Photoshop is shut down. PS can be used okay without opening raw files, but it's fairly critical to my workflow so I'm still stuck on v25.9.   Has anyone actually found a fix for this other than building a new computer! I've tried uninstalling and cleaning all PS software and raw, uninstalling and reinstalling graphics card and drivers (radeon 6650xt on both adrenalin and pro drivers) win 10, i9700k 32gb ram.
