Photoshop

Insert in the settings the possibility to activate: "View, fit to screen" when opening a file or when editing with Photoshop from Lightroom with the various choicesI could not find "Viw, Fit to screen" both in Photoshop or Lightroom. Can you please give me more details ?

Currently, the process of renaming layers in Adobe's apps is inconsistent and misleading for new users.It provides a frustrating experience when working in several apps simultaneously. In our educational Adobe license we cannot use the "generative fill" function in Photoshop. We use the Shared Device license (Default - Creative Cloud All Apps for K-12 - Shared Device, ETLA). Is there a way to add this feature? I see a lot of questions about this, but Adobe just doesn't come up with a solution. Should we purchase other licenses and incur high costs? Then the entire effect of the educational licenses is gone. I hope you (Adobe employees) will think about this and come up with a solution. This will help many school institutions.

I'm working with old photos many of which are printed on fiber paper or paper that has dots or ridges or photos that were printed on "canvas." They are overall patterns that cover the entire photograph. It's not a moire effect - these textures are an integral part of the paper. It's the "finish" style. For example, back in the old days you could specify that your photos be printed out with a glossy or matte finish. This is an extreme version of that. I'm trying to edit these photos in Photoshop and it's a nightmare. The only solutions that I've found are complicated and I haven't had much luck in creating a successful result. Here are the ones that I've found: 1. FFT (fast fourier transform) I'm not nerdy enough to figure it out. It's like old HP calculators that used "reverse Polish notation." 2. scan the photo once and then rotate it 180 degrees and scan it again, then merge the two like photographic plates. I won't live long enough to do that with all the photos I'm editing. 3. It w

Provide a special panel for AI generative fills like the neutral filter in Photoshop.   In which give a whole panel like adobe firefly web site in that panel, AI generative fill give an option to insert background of our choice in our photo with one click so we don't need to write prompt every time.   Given a sample image like adobe firefly web site an image like that image should be generated and the background image should appear in our photo, next to the box given to write a prompt, there should be an option to upload a background sample image, both the option to write a prompt or upload a sample image, the prompt After writing this is still not giving 100% desired result in photoshop, so give option to upload sample image to add photo background, add something to photo, atleast 500 units per month in basic plan still this photoshop AI is not working properly.

In both After Effects and Illustrator clicking with a scroll wheel and dragging acts like a pan tool which is very handy. For some reason it doesn't work this way in Photoshop. Middle click does nothing in Photoshop. Parametric Filter menu. No preview button?

It would be nice to have a layer panel right click "Export As.." to Webp feature.When exporting layer elements and groups for websites it would be nice to have to ability to export them directly to webp... 

I use a lot of very fine brushes and even with the palette set to its largest size, I can't see the nuance of what brush I'm trying to select. I wish there could be an option to display a separate window with a much larger view of a selected brush.I know it's not AI, but it would be helpful!

In Photoshop/Bridge allow the option for Bridge to open a file without applying file size, colour profile, MB size changes. Have an option to allow Bridge to open the file as is. For example I've already edited and exported a DNG to jpeg. Now I want  to add a lens blur to the jpeg version but i do not want my default setting of 300ppi, ProPhoto, applied to the jpeg when it opens in Bridge.. 

Adjustment Layers palette rolling from the bottom of the screen is annoying. Photoshop 2024, MacOS Sonoma. This effect slows down the work process. It used to be different in previous versions of PS CC - the whole palette appeared at the click on Adjustment Layer icon.

Hi,So since the Beta versions of Adobe came out, there is this floating settings menu, that I feel is not user friendly at all. I can see the benefit of it, tbh I only use that for AI generation as I'm just so used to my UI layout and this little window does not offer enough settings for me to start using it.Still I think it could be useful and as I mentioned I use it for AI, BUT the automated positioning of it is driving me crazy it is way too close to my working area and I keep accidentally clicking into it then I have to drag it out of the way then I have to drag it again as it never remembers of the position where I moved it.Can this be worked on? Same for illustrator. I'd use this feature if it wasn't literally between my cursor and graphics that I want to see and work on. It's just way too closeThanks for considering it! 🙂

Adobe has made significant improvements to Photoshop and ACR over the past couple of years. Yet in one key area competitors such as Capture One are at least as good as ACR as a pure raw converter. One key area for Adobe to address is its black recovery in ACR. In 2019 Capture added this module to their converter, and the black recoveries are superior to anything Photoshop offers.  I would drop Capture, save for the power of its raw converter. The capture tool alows me to take pictures where I know I have a lot of dark exposure but can get great recoveries using Capture - and much better than ACR. Thanks! 

Would be great to have the Export as... function the ability to take the filename and add into the export files filename, and /or ability to add custom prefix!! Already a Suffix field exists. PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Add shortcut customization on Adobe camera RAW or give suitable shortcut key arrangement.EX: there is no necessary image rotation CMD+R and L, if can customize at least object masking shortcut. it's easy to mange our work load.

well i've been using photoshop ai for a month but noticed it has some issues with generation it sometimes doesn't understand what you want and just goes random like a right effects it just makes huge weird stuff instead of trying to make effects and like in gaming wise i write a minecraft character or cow it'll give me weird shaped cow instead of atleast a real one i wish this could be more utilized and focused on fixing cause if you like make it master this this will be the future or thumbnails and more to come for it

Olá pessoal do fórum da Adobe! Tenho uma ideia para melhorar o Photoshop, como não encontrei nada parecido por aqui, vou postar... A idéia seria adicionar setas de ajuste de texto, assim como temos no Illustrator. Essa ferramenta seria incrível para facilitar o dia a dia dos usuários, permitindo um ajuste mais preciso e rápido do texto. Com as setas, seria possível aumentar ou diminuir o tamanho do texto, alterar o espaçamento entre as letras e as linhas, além de ajustar a rotação. Essas melhorias trariam mais agilidade e praticidade na edição de textos no Photoshop. O que vocês acham? Agradeço a todos os envolvidos pela atenção! Qualquer dúvida estou a disposição!
