On the single adjustments panel, I’d like to keep my most used tools at the top in the order I’ve used them for years. With the updates I understand putting new features at the top. It kills my flow though and I have to relearn where the tools are. Would like to keep things the way they were for years. please bring this feature back.
Yesterday morning it was working just fine at first, but by about the 10th photo I was editing, the Selection Brush’s add more setting stopped functioning. It performs like the add less. The add less works correctly. I cleared my browser cache, restarted my browser, tried a different browser, restarted my computer, and none of those helped. I asked the built in AI and they advised trying in an incognito window incase it was a plug-in interfering. Still no difference. I tried a different image, thinking maybe that was the issue. No change. The AI said that it is most likely a bug on your end, so here we are. Note: No, I do not have the ability to install the desktop version on this particular PC.
Issue: Photoshop version: 26.10.0 20250811.r.7 x64 (final, Release) OS: Windows 11 64-bit (10.0.26100.4946), 4070 RTX (mobile), i7-13700h, Windows HDR enabled Steps to reproduce: Create a new 1000 x 1000 px document., RGB, 8 bit. In [Edit > Color Settings...] enable "Blend RGB colors using gamma 1.00". Enable [Settings > Technology Previews > Precise color management for HDR display], butit seems to be irrelevant (that's the only other setting I changed since Photoshop installation). Create 200 x 200 px, #00f blue raster square with 50% opacity ("Normal" blend). Ctrl + J to duplicate this layer. Group them. Fill bg to say #eee. Notice that the color they have is #6767f8 (correct I assume). Move the group with the Move Tool (V) and notice the color changed to #7f7ffb. Use zoom/pan (Z) and notice it flickered back to #6767f8. It's even possible to duplicate this group and fix both copies by the zoom tooland then drag only one of these groups with Move Tool (V)
While Perspective Warp is active, allow users to hold the Z key to temporarily activate Photoshop’s Zoom tool. Releasing Z should immediately return control to Perspective Warp without committing, canceling, or resetting the current perspective grid.Photoshop normally supports holding Z for temporary zooming while another tool is active, but this behavior is unavailable in the Perspective Warp workspace. Although zoom percentages and some alternate navigation methods may be available, they are less direct and interrupt precise grid placement.Supporting hold-Z zoom would make Perspective Warp consistent with Photoshop’s normal navigation behavior and make it easier to position grid corners accurately on detailed images.
All of a sudden, when I open any image in Photoshop, the colors appear to be desaturated...In Photoshop only. When I open that same image in Window Picture Viewer, or Quicktimer, or even if I drag the image into a brower window, the colors appear fine. But in Photoshop, something is clearly wrong. Now, I can make color adjustments to the image, but when I save and reopen reopen it in another application, I can see that color changes have been made, but they still don't match what Photoshop is displaying. The images are RGB image...I've checked the color space setings in Photoshop, and they are the default (Edit > Color Settings: North American General Purpose 2 / RGB: sRGB IEC61966-2.1 / CMYK: US Web Coated (SWOP) V2, etc, etc). I also made sure View > Proof Setup was set to: Working CMYK. I even reset Photoshop to it's default settings (by holding down CTRL-ALT-SHIFT on launching Photoshop)...But the images still appear desaturated when I open them in Photoshop...So, I don't unde
I have tried to just suck it up that Photoshop is flooded with AI features now, but the addition of Generative AI features in Camera Raw, and more specifically that they have taken a hierarchical priority in the panels, is infuriating and borderline insulting from a consumer standpoint. Adobe is diluting the individual purposes of each of their apps by pushing duplicate AI features across every interface they can find. ACR is for editing RAW photos. Photoshop is for manipulating them. Why can you not keep it this way? These features are also in Photoshop, which I often use after editing in ACR. They are literally being shoved in our faces in every corner of every Adobe application. I use these features in Photoshop. I do not want them in ACR, because they are used for completely different things. I now have to alter my workflow and take extra time to AVOID using them because they are intentionally put in the way. If you want to crop your photo you now have to click twice instead of
Photoshop closes by itself about 10 minutes after startup without displaying any error message.I have reinstalled it several times already, but the problem still persists. In the Canvas Size dialog, with “Relative to current dimension” checked, the width nor height can be set to 0. This is a big problem if you only want to change one dimension. Also, I will say that it is very annoying that the up and down arrow keys no longer increase and decrease the value by a whole number.
Hi everyone,Photoshop 2026 (v27.4) on Windows gives me this error constantly when work with curves (i didn't try other tools, so i hope this is the only one): "Impossible to update advanced objects because a program error has occurred (f376f9.749)".Sorry, my Photoshop is in Italian.Anyone else seeing f376f9.749 on Windows lately? Thanks in advance!
The bounding box of the transform tool is in the wrong location and not properly scaled when used on warped text. It does snap back to correct scale and location when a corner of it is selected but reverts once the transform is deselected again.Photoshop version is 27.5Off center and wrong scale bounding box on warped text
Really annoying bug. I spend 10 minutes going through my list of fonts in Photoshop, clicking the star next to fonts I want to remember as "favorites". Many of these fonts are installed via fonts.adobe.com. But Photoshop keeps turning off the "favorite" star for many (but not all) of my font selections. I think I've figured out the cause: If I start Photoshop shortly after logging in, before the Adobe Creative Cloud magic has had time to activate all my fonts, the fonts that are not yet activated don't exist yet (as far as Photoshop is concerned), and they lose their "favorite" star. Once the star is turned off by this bug, it stays off until I go back into Photoshop (after the fonts have all been loaded) and turn the star back on again.
Issue summary: A smart object produces unexpected behaviour when dragging a smart object with polar coordinates applied to a new document depending on where you drop it off on the canvas. Product and version: 27.8.0 Operating system: Windows 11 Steps to reproduce: 1. Create a square document 2. create a gradient (or any other content) and turn it into a smart object 3. Apply the polar coordinates filter 4. drag and drop the smart object to a new document 5. depending on where you let go with your mouse on the canvas, the filter outputs different results Expected result: same output as the document the object was copied from Actual result: result depends on placement on canvas, which can’t be changed by repositioning the smart object. double-clicking the smart object also does not help. it seems like the polar coordinates filter is stuck to the coordinates where you let the mouse go. Issue summary: Since Photoshop 2025 (exact version unknown, but after 25.12.4) direction-based brush strokes, when set in the brush settings (Shape Dynamics - Angle Jitter - Direction), are not working properly. The very first 'pixel' of nearly every stroke is angled about 90 degrees perpendicular, before correcting itself immediately as the stroke continues. This breaks a previously working workflow. The problem is only mitigated by using external stabilisation (I’m using Lazy Nezumi Pro with light smoothing), which suggests the issue is related to how initial pen input samples are handled at stroke start. I also ideally need to have 1% smoothing enabled in Photoshop, or the bug can lightly reoccur occasionally. Using older Photoshop versions avoids the issue, but this is not a viable long-term solution due to other compatibility and stability concerns. I have used these brushes for years with no issues until recently.Product and version: 25.12.4. (laptop) the bug does not occur in th
With todays 4k monitor settings Photoshop worlspace the Menu Bar, Options Bar, Tools Panel and Panels Area is so tiny it can’t be read. Using the options choiced of enlarging type and the 200% increase doesn’t make any difference. The only way to actually increase the zize of these is to go to the Windows settings and modify the display setting. The problem with that is it makes Photoshop bigger but everything else is bigger too.Give me a slidebar so I can sdjust the size of these elements so it works perfectly for me. I’m betting a lot of long time users are aging like me and need this help. As a LONG time user of Photoshop, please don’t force me to using AI programs like Grok.
I have two Mac Studios on which I use the Creative Suite—obviously, only on one machine at a time. On rare occasions, for academic reasons, I need to work on an old 2012 MacBook Pro that is no longer compatible with the current versions of Adobe. My use on the MacBook would be limited to Photoshop only. I was wondering if it’s possible to get just the standalone installer for this app in the old version compatible with the 2012 MacBook.

Both Photoshop 27.7 and 27.8 display the following modal error and never reach a usable application window:"Caught in IPhotoshopApplication, encountered exception: Unable to create environment configuration: photoshop_error"Steps to reproduce1. Install Photoshop 27.7 or 27.8 from Creative Cloud Desktop.2. Launch Photoshop.exe normally.3. Wait for initialization.4. I have been using PS since 1999 and these new versions [cursing removed] are unusable. I have spent days trying to solve erros and bugs. Why did you nuke such a well oiled software. almost every update since 2018 [cursing removed].... why is there no alternative to PS [cursing removed]. why break something that worked so well decades ago
Let me be absolutely clear. I have ZERO interest in using generative AI tools in Photoshop or anywhere else. And yet, every time I open Photoshop I am assaulted with pop up windows trying to get me to use these tools that I do not want. The features and buttons are displayed prominently in many different windows, it is virtually impossible to ignore or avoid. It creates a very negative user experience having these things shoved down my throat all the time. Going forward, Adobe should give users a simple checkbox option to indicate whether we want these tools or not. For those who don't, they should be disabled completely. No pop ups, no reminders, no prompts, nothing. I like to use Photoshop to jump back and forth between my Mac desktop and iPad. Despite some bugs and issues, the experience has mostly been good until AI started taking over. I don't want to switch, but at this point, I am already considering alternatives. Please take note of this user feedback and take it seriously. I c
When saving a Photoshop PDF, add a checkbox to "Create Acrobat Layers from Top-level Layers" so that viewers of the PDF in Acrobat can toggle on/off the Optional Content Group (OCG) "Layers” created, just as users of Illustrator and Photoshop can. The benefit to the user would be feature parity with Illustrator and Photoshop in creating a PDF with OCG.
In the last few versions of Photoshop, when I go to Save a Copy, and select Photoshop PDF from the file type, it successfully saves a file, but when I open the file it is blank. It is really frustrating as a designer as I export all my files to PDF to sell to customers or print. I have to keep rolling back to 27.1 to get it to work again. I’m running on a brand new Surface Pro. Please could you take a look and fix? I’ve tried every suggestion I can find online including for similar questions, such as altering the save settings and flattening the layers and rolling back the version is the only thing that’s worked. Many thanksAmy
Heya adobe collective.I somehow accidently created these new visual guides and i cant work out to get rid of them except by hiding extras and its not a fix and they keep coming back. I know its something simple and something new.
update from 25.12 to 26.10surprise to see the instability of the [ remove tool ] after 3 to 4 stroke photoshop freeze and after 10s a message appear saying not enough RAM memories.. any workaround ? I have an Apple 27 inch Intel iMac running Mac OS 13.7.8 which is the latest version that will run on it. I was using photoshop version 27.8 and for the most part it worked fine. There were a few new features that required a newer operating system but for they were things I needed. Yesterday, it upgraded to version 27.9 and now when I launch it I receive a message that I need to upgrade the operating system to use it. I would have expected that the update would only have installed if it would run on my machine, which is what happened with Lightroom I tried to uninstall photoshop and reinstall both 27.8 and 27.7 and now I still get the message that I need to upgrade my operating system to use it. upgrading my OS isn’t an option until I can buy new hardware and that isn’t going to happen until Apple announces a new mini. is there anyway to get photoshop working again?thatks for your help,Jim
