Photoshop

After moving the zero point to a different place, Photoshop continues to create a New Guide as if the zero point had not changed. Why?

I have tried everything and I absolutely cannot get generative fill to remove an object from an image. I've watched all of the tutorials and read all of the instructions, followed them to a tee, and the only thing it does is generate another object instead of the one I want removed completely. This is happening both with Firefly and PS 2024 on the Creative Cloud. Macbook Pro - Version 12.7      

Hello everyone, I have Photoshop version 27.10 with the new actions panel. I have created two actions and bundled them into a master action to run together.The last action is to save the file in its current location as a tiff file (default save type) but would like to turn off the two dialogue boxes that come up showing the location and file type options and then the Tiff file options. Any ideas on this? All googling has resulted in the outdated versions of PS 

since today morning i tried may times to open photoshop on my laptop, but it is not opening.

De nieuwste versies van Camera Raw kunnen niet samenwerken met mijn NVidia Geforce RTX360 gratische kaart, waarvan ik de nieuwste drivers (sept 2026) heb geïnstalleerd. ACR opent niet als ik een raw-foto in Photshop open. Ik krijg de melding dat de CPU-versnelling niet werkt. Binnen Photoshop staat alles wel goed aangevinkt. Als ik terug ga naar Camera Raw 18.0 werkt alles weer naar behoren.Al eerder heb ik via de chat een Engelstalige medewerker hierover aangesproken. Deze heeft het beheer van mijn PC zelfs overgenomen en is er twee uur mee aan het werk geweest. Hij kreeg het niet opgelost en zou het aan de ontwikkelaars van RAW doorgeven. Inmiddels is Camera Raw alweer twee versies verder en is het probleem nog steeds niet opgelost. Adobe Creative Cloud installeert elke keer de nieuwe versie, maar die moet ik dan weer overschrijven met Camera Raw 18.0.graag hoor ik wat Adobe hier nu aan gaat doen.groetHenk

After installing some updates on an older version of Photoshop (CS5.1) - It started to require activation and then gave the error that the limit for that was reached.There is no listed devices under “activated devices” on my account and I can’t seem to get passed this now, Just had the product running a few minuttes ago, wen’t to “check for updates” and i listed a few modules, hereunder a update for “RAW” format, I installed that and now I can’t start again.

Hi everyone,I am stuck in a critical crash loop and desperately need help. Photoshop (both v2025 and 2026) instantly crashes on my MacBook Pro M1 Pro (14-inch, 2021, 16GB RAM) running macOS 15.0 Golden Gate 27.0.The crash happens every single time I click 'OK' in the Camera Raw filter, or when I change the Image Size. It happens on standard files (300MB) from the internal SSD. I cannot contact official Adobe Chat support because my account is managed by a school institution, and I do not have administrator privileges.Here is what I have already tried (nothing worked):Tested on a completely clean, personal Adobe Trial account (still crashes). Reset all Photoshop & Camera Raw preferences. Disabled GPU acceleration, checked/unchecked Metal, disabled OpenCL. Deleted NGL caches, disabled Generator, and turned off Background Save. Cleared Mac system caches, tested on a brand-new macOS user account. Uninstalled everything using the Adobe CC Cleaner tool and reinstalled.The Apple Crash Rep

Hi , can you please help me erase the whitepaint from a screen shot to reveal what is there ? thank you in advance. 

I have autosave/autorecover set up. Yet when Photoshop crashes, I go to look in the folder and it's always empty. Searching seems to indicate that photoshop clears the folder when it crashes. Which seems completely pointless??? I'm guessing my app is crashing bc RAM issues, but there's nothing I can do about that... I guess I have to drill it into myself to press ctrl s before every single click

ACR 18.6  / Mac Studio Tahoe 26.7Trim and generative expand applied to image. Additional edits caused them to vanish.Edits such as profile change and glow each reversed the Crop & Expand edits.

After upgrading to 27.10 the crop with Generative Expand co longer works. If I select a crop and go beyond the image, even tough I have Generative Expand selected on the toolabar the new area is rendered transparent.  If I then subsequently just select the area ans use Generative Fill, that works - but I shouldnt have to !!!  Can we expact a fix anytime soon ??? I’ put a little pic below - I would post a little video but not sure how to upload it to hereBTW can we please have the ‘check mark’ and  the ‘discard’ icons back on the crop toolbar - its a right pain putting down the mouse/stylus and having to press ENTER or ESC when before we could just do s imple click to confirm or discard.

Since updating to the latest version of Photoshop and Camera Raw, the "Image Processor" batch script initiated in Bridge stops working when processing TIFF files with previously applied parameters in ACR. Instead of smooth batch processing in the background, the process freezes, and Adobe Camera Raw either forces an interactive window or interprets specific layer metadata/color profile information in the TIFF files as a required edit prompt.This completely disrupts established, automated, professional workflows. The exact same TIFF files processed without any issues in previous versions of Photoshop/ACR, and reverting to the older version immediately resolves the issue. Working with latest version of PS for the PC.  Used Bridge to open jpgs in PS then tried to automate PDF presentation  and initially got a PDF with nothing in it.  Tried again and got a series of error messages 1) unable to open file for writing.  It may be locked or unavailablefollowed by2) Cannot complete your request because of program errorfollowed by 3)PDF presentaiton could not be created. This happened irrespective of whether I used bridge to open the jpgs in PS or I did it through PS

Photoshop is stuck on ‘cancelling’ in Creative Cloud so I can’t install the program or update.

The month is new. My credits should have reset. Instead I see “Unable to load section. Retry” where my points should be. In photoshop, I see, “IMS Token Invalid of Expired. Please restart Photoshop to refresh your session.” And yes, I’ve restarted many times.I can see Photoshop made what I asked it too, but I cannot view it or open it. So I know I do have enough credits, as it made the image. I have cleared my cache in Creative Cloud & Photoshop CC. Everything is updated. I have signed out & signed back in several times. Help?

Dear all, I already have a working and proven solution to my issue after 10 hour reading posts, cross-checking and ultimately finding out through trial and error. The solution I would like to share with so you’ll be spared the pain.  Issue: On the same monitor, there was a colour mismatch between pictures displayed in Photoshop and other apps in Windows 11. Photoshop was the most vibrant, closest to the desired AdobeRGB, all other apps like Camera Raw, Bridge, and third party editing tools showed something more like sRGB. This was also the case for some other non-photo-editing related apps, e.g. Windows explorer showed pictures in AdobeRGB, the photo/video preview app in sRGB. Hence, the problem pointed towards the operating system.  Background: Windows 11 25H2 has a bug concerning ACM when using hardware or software-calibrated monitors. I’m experiencing this error message “Die Pipette konnte nicht verwendet werden, weil ein Programmfehler aufgetreten ist (f376f9.752).” in PS 27.10.0 (on an M2 MacBookPro) when trying to set more than one reference point in the curves adjustment panel. If I try it in the general adjustment setting I can click the message away, but when I use a curves adjustment layer Photoshop goes crazy and I have to force quit the application. 

This is the problem:When I want to Transfrom/Distort a corner of a rectangle, the content of the rectangle doensn't stay in the same place. I mean, let's say as an example that I've a point right in the center, when I squeeze the lower right corner towards the upper right, the point MOVES towards the right side of the rectangle!! This makes some adjustments I need to do impossible to achieve. If I use Warp, I can't really mantain straight lines in the image because everything, well, warps… Carefully moving handles I could theoretically achieve the transformation I need but it's very hard and very prone to approximations that I can't tolerate and very slow to achieve and repeat. What I need is a way to compress a corner towards another corner without shifting the content of the rectangle towards the side of the corner I'm moving. All mantaining straight lines in the perpendicular sides and progressively compress them towards the corner where I'm moving the other one. It's hard, please f
